Horrible experience. They overcharged me, and the service was mediocre at best. I would pay extra with some of the other movers in Charlotte. The contract that you sign regarding your charges DOES NOT APPLY. It took 3 months for a rep to follow up with me after disputing he overage charges with my bank. AVOID!Update: You see the rude tone in the response from the representative? This is how they communicate after getting you to sigh the contract. As I started AVOID.

Booked DC Movers to unload a truck a couple of weeks in advance. They were helpful and professional on the front end. But the afternoon they were scheduled to unload our truck I get a text an hour and a half before they’re scheduled to arrive that essentially says “we don’t have enough guys. Sorry” and provided absolutely no further assistance or communication despite attempts to call/text. I had to scramble to find another company to unload my truck before it had to be returned. Do not use this company unless you’re willing to roll the dice on them actually coming! I found it hilarious that if I had cancelled within 48 hours I’d have had to pay $75 but they can bail with less than 2 hours notice and not bat an eye.

I am moved from Raleigh to Charlotte a while ago and I use the services of DC Movers. I didn’t have a Lotta stuff to move but I was too lazy to move it myself. I called them and they were professional and courteous on the phone explained everything to me prices were competitive.They arrived on time they were really fast and efficient. The managed to have it all done in four hours which was really surprising for me. Previous company wanted to charge me almost double what this guys charged me.If I had to move it again I would definitely use DC Movers.Thanks guys awesome job

The experience we had was outstanding. I have NEVER used a service before and as a result I was very apprehensive. The process was explained and carried of extremely professionally. All of our goods were handled with care. I was really surprised at the effort thy put into wrapping the furniture with both blankets and plastic. They moved us out of our house and into a 10x10 unit (on the 4th floor) in a total of 4.5hrs for less than $700 and all I had to do was watch and point LOLThanks DC Movers!!

DC Movers made my move so easy!! Timely and communicated well. Everything was perfectly wrapped and they paid careful attention to some of my antique furniture. When they took the drawers out of my Great Grandmothers dresser they found the bottom had fallen out....and then they repaired it for me on the spot! If that’s not service I don’t know what is! DC Movers is the way to go.

This was a complete 180 from the movers I used before. The packing team was professional and fast - NOTHING was broken in the move. I repeat...NOTHING was broken during and after the move. The movers themselves were equally as professional as the office staff - everything was neat and orderly. They helped disassemble the beds and then put them back together when they got to the new house. Very good movers and would definitely use DC Movers again.

The two guys that helped us move yesterday were fantastic!!! They were friendly and moved everything in a timely and efficient manner. I would recommend DC movers !!

It was last minute with 24 hours left until my move and these guys fit me in last minute!! They were so kind and gracious without being pushy. Without a single doubt the cheapest and best quote I received and with no notice?! Wow! They were right on time, fast, safe, and kind. If you hire anyone other then DC Movers you are messing up and throwing away time and money! Thank you so much for your excellent service I sure have found my forever moving company:)

I would really like to have used this company. However, when I initially called (on a Friday) for information about whether they could do our multi-location move, they decided to schedule a moving estimate appointment (for Monday). I made it clear that we had not decided on our new location. On Monday morning, I tried calling at 7:30 AM and was placed on hold for 25 minutes. My assumption was that they were closed. At 8:10, I called to cancel the appointment - we where still deciding on where to move. The receptionist informed me that there was a cancellation fee because we didnt give them 72 hour notice. (For an ESTIMATE?). When I questioned it, she said I could have called anytime over the weekend. I told her that she could bill me, but I would not pay it. Before finished speaking, she hung up. LOOKS LIKE WE DODGED A BULLET!!!!

Great guys! We moved from Greensboro to Charlotte. Our family has used them twice already and we will be using them again down the road. Quick and patient with us. I was able to set up a moving service the next day. Thank you for all your help!

Do not use this company! Was 2.5 hours late after the 2 hour window. Very unprofessional.

The best move I have had!!! Steve, Anthony and Frances were great, very professional and worked well together. I was very pleased they wrapped and shrink wrapped my items took care in packing, unpacking and putting back together all my items. Very pleased and if I move again will be using this company. The move was great.

Never hire D.C. movers. They are very unsavory characters. You CANNOT trust them with your move. My move was scheduled to happen between the hours of 2 and 4pm. At 4pm the texted me (apparently customers arent worth phone calls) saying they would be there after 4pm. At 7pm I received a call after having to call them 3 times. Also after canceling their move THE OWNER would no longer take my call. This is the worst customer service experience I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Do not hire them. They are very unprofessional.Circling back to the reply on this above review. They are blatantly lying. I was not offered anything but doing the move on a different day. That was not an option for me as I had to turn my keys into my apartment community. The owner was personally txting and talking via phone call with me. After a certain point he DID stop taking my phone calls. He then tried to contact me via txt that following Monday to see what he could do for me. I will be finding my old phone and txt and communication in question because I will not be called a liar. I had to pay a different moving company 3 times the amount to move me that night. I am so grateful for them and when I find the name of that company I will be adding that as well!
