Make sure you check in call but places close for renovations couldnt get and Im sure it has something to do covid 19, I love nascar love Rick Kendrick had been there from Arizona, But the place was closed and was not able to visit so I cant tell you much about you about it. But if I ever make it back I will go again

This is headquarters of Hendrick motorsport. Huge facility. So visitors are recommended to hear FM radio for visitor guide. There are race shops, museum, gift shop, crew team practice facility, and physical training facility!!!You can also have an opportunity to see pit stop training! So check the time of practice!

Fascinating display of cars, trophies, and NASCAR memorabilia. Nice gift shop, too. Family friendly and free museum. Must see if you are in the area.

Wow. This area with all the different buildings is amazing. The museum is so cool. Lots of cars on display. Trophies and uniforms. They have Jeff Gordon cars and things in display but nothing for sale..no shirts, hats, anything. That was a huge disappointment for me. Overall an amazing experience I am so lucky to have.

Absolutely great museum. Rich with history. If your timing is right you can even step around back and watch the pit crews live training. Just listen for the air guns.

We stopped in the museum and car shop at Hendrick Motor Sports. It was cool to see many actual race cars, trophies and outfits from the winning program. We also picked up some nice souvenirs. Then we had the opportunity to get into the shop with my brother-in-law because he works there - thanks Bob! It was great seeing cars in various stages of being built and tested. It also was cool hearing about building the cars from an insiders perspective. If you are a NASCAR fan, you need to see this. If not, this is more interesting to see than you think. Just go.

Very friendly! There are two different areas where visitors can watch teams work on cars. There is also a museum and gift shop combo. The trophies displayed throughout are impressive. There is a line of Jeff Gordon vehicles my husband fell in love with instantly because he remembers watching them actually race. The fountain between the two shop buildings is a touching tribute to those lost in the plane accident. Thanks for making my Hubbys visit so special Hendricks motorsports!

Cool place to visit for any race fan!

Hendrick Motorsports was a cool place to go see their historical NASCAR race cars. It has a nice gift shop and plenty of Hendrick Motorsports memorabilia to view.

I love the Hendrick Team. So i stop on every Daytona500 Trip from Switzerland at the Store here. Always get my new #9 or Hendrick Team Gear.

If youre into NASCAR, this is probably heaven on Earth. Im not, I thought the museum was small, but I still enjoyed looking around. The grounds overall are beautiful.

Well, 05/13/2021 I have to say I found it ridiculous that Hendrick and all the other team shops are apparently closed to the public. Why is that ? Ive been a Hendrick fan all my Nascar life, just left RCR and it was open.... but cant go to the best ?? Ridiculous.

My dad works there and he gets good money.

What a place....I see why the wife makes it an annual stop. I came this time to be the dog sitter and the driver to pickup her latest set of race used tires...these like her other set have a special meaning because they honor our service members around the world. If you have the chance to get here,you will not believe the access to some of the finest race technologies in the world gathered in one place,each team gets to showoff some of best they have in a seperate shop!!!! Museum is top of the line and FREE........PAPA JOE GIVING BACK👏👏👏👍👍👍👊👊👊

Stopped when I was in town for the World Finals at The Dirt Track. The museum and store is very impressive and really organized. Couldve spent days looking through all the history.

WOW!!! Im going to be a little bias here but my experience here was once in a lifetime. Dale Earnhardt Jr. Announces his retirement and we are walking out of the museum as its all getting ready to start. We hung around until the press conference was over, and afterwards Dale came out signed autographs and took pictures with the few of us out there. Every Hendrick team member was friendly and answered the questions we had. This place is definitely worth making a stop. Great display of cars in the shops and museum. Thanks to Dale for stopping out to spend a few minutes with his fans.

Do not charge for entry and beautifully kept. Do not go to the area without checking this place out, especially for any type of race fan. Good prices on merchandise as well.

Awesome place to visit.

It is a nice facility, the entire campus is beautiful. However, I was disappointed that there was next to nothing of Jr. It was almost like he was never there. I dont expect him to be featured like Jeff and Jimmy but a little more than there was.

Excellent stop if youre a race fan and have some time. The four Cup teams are split into two shops, they have a museum that is great as well. You can catch team members working out on the outdoor workout area. I heard you can see pit crew practice, but I have gone a couple times and have not seen this.

Awesome access for fans and family. Friendly people. Chance of meeting superstars is high here. And they will support the fans. Cool people.

I started to use this service when I bought my new RV. I always had the pleasure of being courteously attended by the employees.On Saturday November 16, 2019 I went to the service center and told of a few minor problems. The tire light pressure was on and two cables to lights were left not connected by another shop. Three people asked my problem and attended to the vehicle. Fixed the problems and I was very pleased.I felt like a very important person that day in your service department. Thank you.

Absolutely first class!!I was there for a corporate event and I felt like I belonged there. Truly a pleasure seeing how the cars are built and talking with the professionals who get the job done.Very nice people.

This is a must visit location if you are nearby. The quality of the exhibits are outstanding and the history of the racing team is great. The souvenir shop is great and reasonably priced. The staff are friendly.

As a lifelong fan of Hendrick, this was such a great experience. The museum, race shops, and pit practice were all accessible to guests. The compound is gorgeous and so well maintained. I cant wait to bring my son!

Stopped by here while visiting the Thomas bus manufacturing facility in 2014. Was pleasantly surprised that there wasnt an entrance fee to get into the museum. Was able to browse through most of the facility and the museum at leisure. fantastic assortment of vehicles and all sorts of items related to NASCAR.Most certainly worth the visit.

Clean. A good few hour detour if youre in the Charlotte area

This complex is amazing. The history that is shown is awesome. I loved walking around seeing the past cars, fire suits and especially the trophies. What a legacy!

HMS is a beautiful campus. Everyone is very nice! I wish the hours were expanded for the museum and especially for the shop (Saturday). Small shop tour options is needed.

I used to love coming here with my mom all the time but since they recently started closing off the fan accessible areas is just kind of makes it hard to want to come back

Great place for any racing fan to checkout. Lots of informative racing displays & memorabilia. And plenty of souvenirs if you want to support a Hendrick driver.

Awesome race shops and museum so plan plenty of time to be able to see it all. My only complaint is that the 48/88 shop is older style and its like looking down a hall way to see whats going on in the race shop plus its a very small show room. The 24/5 shop is huge, upfront, and lots to see. Im a JR FAN and I was disappointed that I couldnt see the cars very well in the shop.

Im a NASCAR fan, and pull for Chase Elliott. The museum, souvenir shop is a good place to visit. The merchandise is pricey but what souvenirs arent.

I havent been here in a few years, but I can tell you that the employees are some of the nicest I have ever met. It also probably doesnt hurt that I was able to meet my childhood hero here multiple times (Chad Knaus). He actually took the time to sign my Jimmie Johnson stuff and talk with my dad about building a track up in Seattle (this was back in 2003), so he probably doesnt remember. But that moment will forever be etched in my mind.

Great facility, was honored to be there. All the history was mind blowing. The Papa Joe display was incrediblely touching.

So much to see and do. Love all 3 buildings and all the Nascar history there. This time we got to see the pit stop practice.

Fun place just dont touch the cars lol. It was really interesting seeing how they actually put these cars together. Staff was mostly friendly unless you touch the cars lol. They answered all the questions and it was quite a experience. I would definitely recommend it.

My company at an off-site here it was a great experience. Im a big Gearhead so it was a lot of fun tour the parts that we were allowed to see. On my way out of one of the buildings, I accidentally shut the door on Jimmy Johnson... Im a big Jimmy fan, and I saw him coming my way but I panicked and let go of the door. Otherwise, it was a great time.

What a showcase of cars, this facility is so enormous and if you are into cars, racing etc this is worth a visit for you. Tons of memorabilia, actual race cars, an engine facility where you can hear the. Being tested, its like an amusement park for car racing.

The best place for a Hendrick motorsports fan so cool to watch the teams prepare the cars for the next race and very nice gift shop and museum!!! Love this place☺

Just as much fun the second time! This is a large, well organized organization.

This was a great shop but seemed a little depleted on merchandise. And this shop was the most expensive and least accessible of all the others. Other garages we went to allowed you some access to garage.

We are part of an organization that does a monthly get together for Veterans and this is one of the places we meet. Love the place.

Fantastic time for any HMS fan. You can get anything team related, see old HMS cars, maybe even see your favorite driver.

If you are a Nascar fan this is another place to go. It is only about Hendrick Motorsports. But it was exciting for my husband who is a huge Nascar fan. It is a must see. Plus it is free.
