Very knowledgeable staff who took the time to demonstrate several of the available vacuums and no high pressure sales! I highly recommend this store if you are in the market for a vacuum and/or other accessories/cleaners etc.
I have an Oreck magnesium, it was making a terrible noise. I took it in for repairs and they said it would cost more to repair than to replace, I didnt bite on the replace idea, I took it home and took it apart. The belt had a split in it and the roller brush appeared to have worn out bearings. I ordered the belt and the roller brush on Amazon for about 20 dollars and in about 5 minutes replaced them with the help of you tube, it now preforms like a new one.

Great experience. Brought our Miele vacuume cleaner head in when it stopped working. TJ was very professional, went above and beyond. He called to let us know what he had found. He even called Miele to see if they would warranty the part (they did, even though it was years old!), he let us know when thr psrt would be in and the head was fixed by date promised at a much lower price then we ever expected. He even kept a bag of what caused the part to stop working so we can identify it and prevent it in the future. A+++++! Thank you TJ and all. Will be glad to bring my cleaner in for maintenance.
Worst “customer service” I have ever had!Because I asked to see a commercial vacuum demonstrated, the young sales clerk Sarah? said No, she could not do that, & that I was getting on her nerves. What?! You call this customer service? I had made up my mind to purchase a vacuum today as mine is very old & I’m getting new carpet but NEVER from this store.I don’t just make a large purchase like that without seeing it demonstrated or something..Unbelievable!...!

I bought a floor vacuum that turned out to be a lemon. I barely used it and still the control board failed multiple times. The store repaired it each time. Finally on the third time the store requested Oreck to replace the unit. I received a new unit and it is working great.
I love this store. David and his staff are exemplary with their customer service and sales help plus being able to repair anything on the planet. A top-notch operation. On a scale of 1 to 10 these folks deserve a 20
Bought a Hoover vacuum from Home Depot and it was broken. Hoover told me to take it to this store to have it fixed free of charge. I went to the store and these guys are extremely BUSY, also quite PLEASANT. Upfront with me about when they could get my vacuum back to me (fairly long time, but again BUSY). This busy store equals a good store. People willing to wait says a lot about their service. I highly recommend this store.
The gentlemen at Oreck, namely Nicholas and TJ, are very courteous and professional. They did exactly what they said they would do, at the estimated price, and product was repaired and ready exactly when they said it would be. The service is excellent, the follow-up is excellent, and their skills and prices cant be beat. They go the extra mile and I highly recommend them for all of your vacuum cleaner needs.
We dropped our vacuum off at 10 & it was ready to be picked up before they closed for the day!!! VERY friendly staff!! All in all a great experience and we will be back whenever we need any thing for our Oreck !!!

My vacuum had a clogg and no suction so I took it in. The guy found and cleared the clog and sent me on my way free of charge in 5 minutes flat. You cant put a price on honesty. I highly recommend.

I want to commend the staff at the Oreck Arboretum Store -- Frank in particular. I was working on my own vacuum at home (iRobot) and called to see if they had a part I needed. I spoke to Frank on the phone and he was very helpful and said he would look for the part (Im so clueless I didnt even know what to call this part.) I brought the part (a tiny wheel axle) into the store and he found what appeared to be a good match -- and refused to accept any payment. As it turned out, I had to buy the whole mechanism from iRoomba (which I will salvage for parts in the future), but I think my next vacuum will be an Oreck from the guys at this store! The kindness I received has turned me into an Oreck fan. Thanks!

These people are liars and thieves. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM! I took in my Dyson-Animal Vacuum cleaner to be repaired, and received back someone elses vacuum! I tried to plead my case, but they continued to lie about my vacuum, saying they used parts from this older vacuum (parts that I didnt ask to be replaced, by the way!) to repair mine. The whole thing was so sketchy and horrible and I was not able to get my vacuum cleaner back. The one I received does not vacuum as well and has a terrible smell! I would love to take these people to court. It is unconscionable that a business that appears to be upstanding is taking these kinds of shortcuts to make a buck. My advice, shop elsewhere!
I have been there twice with the same vacuum and both time they said it was clogged and didnt need repair. I operated the unit about 20 minutes after getting it home both times and it sounds like a freight train and quits working. I was told I needed to clean my filter every week to run the bag less version. I told them I thought the motor was bad both times but they decided it was not worth looking at. I will never buy another Oreck vacuum again. I think they are not worth the money and if this is the only certified place to get it repaired then I will buy another brand. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
I have 3 oreck vacuums Ive purchased from this store and have taken them in for serving asking for them to please fix and every time I pick them up same problem happens that I took it in for. The person who fixes it doesnt know what theyre doing.

This was a horrible experience. They did a lot of blame shifting, passing off their responsibility, and were very untimely or considerate. I called ahead to see if they worked on Dysons and they said they did. I brought it in and they said it would be fixed in a few days. Over 3 WEEKS later I called back bc I was having a hard time borrowing friends vacuums for such a long period of time. They said Dyson is always slow getting them parts and I could buy the part somewhere and bring it to them if I wanted. I shouldnt have to be looking around for parts, and the cost was to be included in my repair. After 4 weeks I called again, this time getting frustrated. They said the part was on the way and it would be fixed by early next week. I got a call from the store the next day saying I have left my vacuum there too long and they were trying to ask what I planned to do. I told them they had just told me they would have it fixed in a few days bc we were waiting on a part. I called in the middle of the next week and they said it was delayed. Again. A few days is now over a month. I was angry. I explained it all and they nonchalantly said that they had a loaner vacuum I could use! Why wasnt I offered that weeks ago?! Another several days later my vacuum was ready. They had told me at drop off that they charge $30 to diagnose the vacuum and that that money can go towards a repair. When I got there, they said that because he misdiagnosed it at first, he needed to charge me more. I told him that was not what I was told, the misdiagnosis should his loss not mine, and I shouldnt be charged, especially after their lack of communication and lack of timeliness. He reluctantly withdrew the charge. Now that I am home, I see where someone that was inexperienced with Dysons (even though their signs says they service them) tried pliers on the connector from the tube to the pull out post. This not only bent and damaged it, it broke it completely off so now my vacuum is worthless until I....take it back in. Not there. I just wanted to share bc I would have like to have known.
Tim did a terrific job of going above and beyond when I had a serious problem with my vacuum. Id highly recommend him and this Oreck location.
Im not sure why, but it seems most of the men who work at this location have terrible customer service skills. Never a pleasant experience to get my Oreck serviced. Nasty attitudes, rude comments, and unprofessional. If I would have known, I would have never bought one.
I would not recommend this place at allI have a Hoover carpet cleaner that was making a horrible noise. I called Hoover customer support and they gave me *Oreck Vacuums* phone number to take my vacuum for repair and to check if the warranty was still active.So I get to the store (may 21st), and I was told that it would probably take 2 weeks before my carper cleaner is ready, it didn’t seem that bad, they said they needed time to check the warranty and order the parts.3 weeks go by (june 11th) and no phone call or nothing. I called and I was told that they had ordered the pieces for repair and that they would call me as soon as it was ready.Almost another 3 weeks go by(June 28th ) and no phone call, nothing. They tell me that they just got the vacuum motor,” the mail just dropped the package a few minutes ago”” I’ll have one of our techs install and it should be ready by tomorrow (June 29th ), I told them that I was not going to pick it up until the weekend, but I was glad it was almost ready.Saturday came (July 2nd), I called before I headed over there since it’s like 25 minutes away, just to make sure it was ready, maybe they were still working on it. I get a “tech” on the phone and he explains that they sent the wrong motor but that that wasn’t the problem, that they could still use that motor anyways since it was the same size and everything. The problem now is that I just opened the carpet cleaner and everything looks rusty, motor, screws, pipes. Everything is rusty.” Why didn’t you open the carpet cleaner since the beginning, on the first few days? Why did you wait a month and a half .?So you mean you ordered a Motor for my Carper cleaner without first opening it to make sure what the problem was? Why did you assume it was the motor to begging with? Did you go by the noise it was making?I wasted over a month and a half waiting for my machine to be fix and they didn’t even open it until the last day. But they did order a motor. Okohhh. and to repair everything they want $244.00 .I can go get a new one for $144.00.

The oreck store service need’s to do something about it every time I take a vacuum there they call and tell me a price and when I get it ‘s always more .I hate that store!!!
I showed up 5 minutes before the store closed thinking I would just drop off my vac and pick it up later. After Tim found out I lived almost an hour away stayed late to fix it right then to save me a trip. Talk about customer service! I cant recommend this store or product enough!
