Disappointed isn’t even the word to express my experience and frustrations. Last fall I bought a new 308 excavator and a 259D3 skid steer. Since then I bought a used D5K2 bulldozer. Thumb on excavator has broken twice and I was charged too much to fix. Repairs took very long time and wasn’t offered a machine to use while mine was down. Technician told me I should have had a wrench to tighten bucket and he looked for it. Wasn’t with the machine, but I’ve told salesman more than once and he says it’s in the machine. My bulldozer was supposed to come with a radio. It didn’t and finally after talking to several people they gave me a radio but I had to go 50 miles one way to get it. They didn’t send a wiring harness. They finally agreed to bring wiring harness for radio and put it in. Said someone would contact me?? Not holding my breath. Slope assist wasn’t even set up when it was delivered. I could name several more things that frustrates me. And to think I’ve looked at buying a 320 excavator and a D6 recently. Blanchard Cat or Gregory Poole Cat gotta be better. Seriously thinking about letting Carolina Cat come get all 3 machines. A very unsatisfactory company to do business with. Seems my 330,000 dollars I have spent with them is pocket change. And to beat it all I called them this morning and a temp service worker answered the phone and said she didn’t know how to get a supervisor. Could I call back Monday morning.

After spending over $5000 at CAT in Connecticut and still the same issues... I brought my 379 peterbilt with a 6nz to these guys. It was the best thing I ever did. Trucks runs like a beast and now pulls like a 550hp CAT is supposed to. I highly recommend Carolina CAT. Technicians were very friendly, welcoming, and most importantly knowledgeable. They will be handling all my engine work moving forward. A very satisfied customer.

Worst place to get trucks worked on and over priced. MisDiagnosed and called me told me truck was ready and nothing changed picked up with same problem. Do not recommend going there!!!!!!
