Convenient location, but thats all this Harris teeter has going for it. The meat is rarely fresh and poor quality. The food selection is limited and overpriced as well.

Amazing service and a amazing sub. The girl making the subs is a champ. She had a large order before mine an got everything done very quick and was extremely helpful.

Great neighborhood store. Everything you need day to day. A bit on the smaller side with some aisles not being ideal to navigate through with multiple people at the same time. Good liquor selection with most people not seeing the upstairs area at first. Some non food items are available but very limited.Checkout is convenient with two dedicated self checkout areas. Never had to wait to date!

We bought a lot of meat, fish, and at the next day, after eating the fish noticed that the original expiration date was inside. They just put their label on the outside of the packaging saying another date. And it expired 2 weeks ago!!! We looked at other meat and it all was expired. They just put their label over the original date... I hope I won’t die from that fish...and I can’t even get the money back cuz we ate it all. Going to return the meat now, and will never return.

Not a bid shopping experience. They do seem to have this heightened sensitivity to my presence as if I were going to steal something.

Functional as a neighborhood grocery store. Seafood here is rarely fresh and they don’t have a lot of the things since it isn’t a full sized HT. With center city at 30,000 people as of 2018 and growing, HT should really invest in a full sized store.

This is one of the smaller mkts. They are kind and friendly. They use to have a nice selection of imported beers their wines are nice. Their produce and deli depts are popular.

Cute little HT in the neighborhood, its not as well stocked as others but it provides more than enough. Also the staff are so courteous and helpful

Only complaint is lack of free parking. Dont go at lunch if youre just grocery shopping! Otherwise its my fave store to go to.

Just moved to downtown Charlotte and I am now never leaving. This is the best grocery store i have ever been to and it is within walking distance to my house!

Top level management can be rude and overbearing while the workers are very nice and helpfil.

1st time in this small HT downtown Charlotte. Very busy, and almost cramped feeling inside. Underground parking is also small and limited to 90 minutes.

Its great customer service and deli is my favorite spot..never knew they sold Chinese food also..

I live 2 mins walking distance from this HT and it’s great. Prices are higher than food lion but can’t beat the convenience.

After reading the post about the out of date meat just thought I would say that I have found the same issue. They never have any of the steaks that are on sale, and that happens all the time. Once I saw so many packs of meat that were past the sell by date I went to get a manager. She apologized and removed the packages, there was at least 10 packs. Very very seldom can I find the steaks advertised on sale.

The smallest harris teeter store in charlotte wish it was a lot bigger. All self checkout and 3 regular registers if they are willing to check customers out. Sometimes they might not have everything a regular HT will have

I have been eating their pizza for more than a year .. but today girl chef/baker who baked my Greek pizza was the best I ever had in this location and also one of the tastiest pizzas I have ever eaten anywhere else. Thankyou, face I couldn’t see because of mask. Anyways most convenient grocery store, also good stock always of everything. $7.99 - Monday full Greek pizza, any pizza

Exceptionally clean and well-managed. Plenty of good stock with lots of popular items. Also a really nice deli and garage parking

Free covered parking. Fresh veggies and a nice market area. Not a huge selection of items in the aisles. They do appear to have one of everything that you need. Only noticed self check outs, no actual lanes.

Best Grocery store

Small but convenient if you live in uptown, Charlotte. The selection is small though and only contains the most popular items. Avoid it and go to a larger store, if you can.

Severely understaffed, not visually appealing. : (

At first it appeared as if the employees were trying to maintain safety protocols, but quickly into my trip, I saw several customers with their masks on below their chins. I watched employees interact with these customers without saying anything to them about their masks. And to top it off, one of the employees came over and coughed within inches of me. She was wearing a mask, and I hope that is enough, but she seemed more worried about getting the old receipt out of the way than respecting my space. I will not be going back during this pandemic.

I Was approached and followed by security after Purchasing my Groceries. The store needs to be investigated for Racial PROFILING. When I confronted the Manager and Security, to ask them why was I followed AFTER PURCHASING my Groceries, they didnt give me a ANSWER. But both gave me a Charity Apology Im sorry. Im in the process of building a Case against this Harris Teeter. And I will re visit & send my co workers, friends and family from different ethnic backgrounds, to get their feedback.

Very tiny store. Very basic shopping, a great wine collection and focus as soon as you walk in the door. 👀 the subs and pizzas are the bomb!

Personally one of my favorite HT locations, mostly because it’s one of the only ones, if not THE only one with covered parking. I don’t live right adjacent, but anyone living in the 4th Ward, or even 3rd Ward could do their groceries here on foot. And the layout definitely favors pedestrians over car traffic, but I won’t complain. Despite being a car owner, I hate to see the wasted space with large expansive decks, and this Teeter makes good use of a unique space. If you’re expecting a normal layout then go elsewhere.

Publix vibes.

They are missing a lot of inventory and not all of it is to blame on manufacturer problems. Despite that, the store is always clean, the parking lot is safe, and they seem to keep enough lanes open as customers increase. Of course, only buy items that are on sale otherwise Harris Teeter is overpriced.

I was in this store on December 6th at 9pm and you guys have a security guard that apparently likes to take videos of people shopping.

The store has a very friendly and helpful staff, and the items sold are of high quality.

This particular Harris Teeter located on 6th and N. Pine street is small. However, at the self checkout there were hand sanitizers and staffing wore mask.

Purchase and crab legs and when I got home to cook them they were rotten then they had a bad odor and I noticed the date on them was very bad expired they just stuck a label over top of the original

I think anyone in charlotte knows this is the worst grocery store ever. I love teets, but this teets is like a teets gone wrong...you will come across outdated product, sticky note price updates, the flow is strange...Im not sure when but a complete tear down is seriously needed

I go there for the sandwiches. You order exactly what you want. They make it right in front of you and it takes care of dinner. Win win win for me!

Prime location. Convenient for uptown residents. It’s a nice safe store, but limited in space. Don’t expect a full tilt HT store. Staff is friendly and helpful. Store has armed security that isn’t intrusive at all and to me doesn’t effect the shopping experience at all.

On the North West side of downtown. There is a parking deck near the entrance. Surprisingly, parking was free with no gate at the entrance. I expected to get a parking receipt that I would have to get validated in the store. Prices are what you would expect for a store near downtown. Selection of produce was better than I anticipated.

Franklin was very helpful this morning. Over and beyond.

Kinda unsettling feeling. No one greeting upon entry and the security officer seemed more focused on us solely. The other customers even though one had her own shopping bag and the other two werent of our ethnic backgrounds. I might visit alone again to authenticate my observations. Store is clean prices are some what RIDICULOUS.

Pretty comprehensive product line for the space provided. Only downside is trying to pack a your goods into that tiny space at the self serve tills..I always end up using my torso to prop up a pyramid of groceries and something ALWAYS goes wrong which requires the very helpful gentleman to save me from an aneurysm. Also, smaller trellises all seem to have a left rear puncture.. by isle 3, the the clack clack clack clack from my trolley almost ended a 4 month relationship

Every thing you would need from a grocery in a smaller store than you would find in the burbs! Everyone is ridiculously friendly!

Best staff ever.

Horrible experience. I wanted to run in and do shopping for a few days and didnt realize how cumbersome it would be. All other Harris Teeters make the experience so easy. It was hard finding items in this compact oddly laid-out store, and even harder maneuvering through the aisles. What made it worse was getting to the register and finding it was self-check out with a lady standing by the registers watching as I struggled. Each time I rang an item and put it in my bag, Id get an error message asking me to take it out the bag and re-scan. I had quite a few items. This was a very irritating process. I had to ask the employee to help me instead of her offering. Then the icing on the cake was putting all my bags in the cart expecting to roll them to my car, only to get to the door and be haulted by an automatic sensor that would not let the cart roll out the door! I had to hand carry all my bags to the car. I will never return to this Harris Teeter, and dont recommend unless you only want two easy to find items.

Prime location. Nice selection. DIRTY. This place needs management that knows how to keep a grocery store that sells food. Clean the glass. Clean the floors. Clean the stairs. Remove the broken down boxes from the meat counter. Yuk!! Remove the broken down boxes from the hot bar. Yuk! Boxes have been in warehouses, trucks, floors.....Time to lean. Time to clean.

I went to this Harris Teeter early in the morning. Everyone was nice enough, but I just wanted to buy a ticket for the Southern Christmas show. They promptly printed my ticket. I explored the store a bit and noticed there is an upstairs wine area with places to sit to eat your salad bar salad, sandwich, or hot food from the deli. Although this is a small Harris Teeter, it has character! Also, FREE PARKING in the parking deck for customers.

This grocery store is absolutely awful. The produce selection is poor, but worse than that is the check out process. they removed all of the cashiers, a replace them with self-checkout kiosks. Then, half of the self-checkout kiosks do not take cash, and the ones that do, they replaced the coin slot where you used to be able to dump your change in quickly, with a single slot making the process even more time consuming. if whole foods wasnt so expensive, I would never come to this grocery store again.The only reason I give it two stars, is because the long haired guy in the meat department is friendly and awesome.

Although this store has a great selection of products for its size, the space is small and the checkout is usually troublesome. They only have self-checkout machines available and theyre finicky and dont offer much room for grocery placement on their weight scales. The staff is always helpful, but its still time consuming and annoying. I suggest only quick visits when in need of a small quantity of items. This location isnt convenient for a large grocery shopping run.

I have been a Harris Teeter customer for as long as I can remember! A store is always convenient, and the customer service is great! If I happen to go to another store, I need to go back to Harris Teeter to get certain items because other places dont carry them or the price is too high!! I highly recommend Harris Teeter!

Absolutely love this store, every time Im in there I find exactly what I need. If I cant find something that I dont need all this stuff is amazing and theres no hesitation for them to help you. If youre in the Charlotte area and need a new grocery store this is the one!

Harris Teeter requires mask while shopping in their store. However, in order to purchase alcohol they require you remove your mask. As an at risk individual I feared for my safety.

Im regular customer of other HT locations, but not a fan of this particular one. Comparatively to what I usually buy at other location, couldnt find whole range of items. Jasmin rice - only HT brand, no rice paper, virtuoso pizza only one option, low selection of baby food... Maybe its nice to have it uptown, but when you cant find half of the things you usually buy at HT...Id rather drive elsewhere.

This is a great store! Decent prices and an easy place to stop into for quick groceries. The staff is consistently friendly and helpful. I love my local HT!
