I purchased the cutest panthers long sleeve shirt from Girl Tribe and love it! It’s so unique and the quality is top notch. The shipping was very quick and came with the cutest little thank you note! I really enjoy shopping this store for the cute finds and love their mission - Girl Power!!! I’ve made several purchases over the last year that have given back to charities and small businesses. They do several lines a year of their own t-shirt designs, and they are always so cute. The owners represent the best of what it means to shop local. They’ve also expanded their line in the past several years to be more size inclusive, which is awesome! Women supporting women at its finest and dressed cute to boot!
Went with my girlfriend, she seemed to like it alot and enjoyed the selection of makeup. Store layout is nice. Staff was very kind and helpful towards her!
This company in no way knows how to deal with an online exchange. I ordered my friend something in a wrong size back in April and wanted to exchange it for smaller. It’s now July and I still don’t have the sweatshirt. It’s just now been sent but will probably take two months like last time to ship. They also made me pay for the shipping to send it back then tried giving me a gift card that wouldn’t even cover the entire new order for the smaller size. Very frustrating experience.
Girl Tribe is one of my favorite local women owned businesses. Always have super cute on trend items at a variety of price points. Staff has been helpful in store picking out items for gifts or treats for myself. I bought a tank top at a pop up once but didn’t try on and when I got home did not like the fit on me. They were accommodating allowing me to exchange for another option that suited me better. Nothing but great experiences with this business :)
I had originally posted a 1 star review after having a frustrating experience at Girl Tribe. Within hours of me posting, one of the owners, Sarah, had followed up and wanted to make it right. The way she handled the situation and listened to my concerns, coupled with the obvious care she has for her business and customers, turned my negative experience into a positive one.
Love this boutique and website! They have the best collection of gifts and clothes. There is always something fresh and new! They also have awesome social media. Every time I have ordered I have received my product super quick and adorably packed. Kudos to the owners for keeping it fresh and new all the time!

Went with the intention of buying some new spring clothes. Entered the shop and the two staff members downstairs did not acknowledge us at all or even come by to ask if we were looking for anything in particular. Went to the upstairs part and the staff member was playing on their phone. When my friend went to pay for something the staff member barely spoke and did not even look at her.
Ive always had the best experiences with Girl Tribe Co. Whether Im attending their events, ordering online, or visiting their store. If Ive had any questions via email or messenger, they respond pretty quickly. I admire how theyre constantly adapting their business to meet the needs of all types of women. They set a great example for our Charlotte community and beyond.
I love this women-owned business! Not only do they have the cutest things (clothes, accessories, etc.), but the owners go out of their way to promote and support the Charlotte community. They create an atmosphere of uplifting female entrepreneurs and fellow small businesses, in addition to just selling really cool stuff.
This is the cutest place! I bought a few things for my daughter for Christmas and she was thrilled come Christmas morning. Everyone is so helpful, kind and knowledgeable! I highly recommend Girl Tribe for all those unique, beautiful women in your life.
Such a great concept! I ordered a dress and it arrived quickly. The technology they use with Facebook made it so easy. I was actually a little surprised by how great the value was for the price. The dress was lined and the material was high quality. Definitely recommend!

I cannot rave about this place enough! Every single time I walk into Girl Tribe, I just want to buy EVERYTHING. Not only are the things in there cute, but the staff is amazing. Being a bigger girl, I’m always so self cautious in what I wear and how I look in it. When I’m there, I feel comfortable in coming out of the fitting room and asking the girls at the counter how it looks or if they recommend me matching a piece with something else. They always boost my self confidence when I’m in there! I definitely recommend this store!

Plus the racist name and gentrifying of a historical neighborhood. :(Edit: I see the owner corrected the size issue below: perhaps its time to train all your employees on size inclusivity and feature models / promo / window displays that feature things beyond size 2s. I asked two associates for help and whether they carried plus sizes and they started listing the jeans sizes (up to 9, they said. )
I am very disappointed to hear about about a close friends recent experience with Girl Tribe. As a retail manager my self you want to ensure you are delivering the best customer service you can. I do understand sometimes that can seem impossible but to use social media as a platform to talk about customers who spend hundreds in your store that’s appalling. I hope in the new year you are able to really connect and serve your customers! Practice what you preach and empower women!PS. I love shopping with Girl Tribe. I seriously make up excuses to drive by just so I can go in and shop. The store is so cute and full of girly, fun things for you or as gifts. Honestly I just love this store. Im in CLT frequently to visit family and I always make it a point to visit. I try to be a conscious consumer as much as possible, and I love that this team is dedicated to supporting local, women-owned businesses...bonus points that I always find something unique there! Its like visiting a very stylish friends closet who also happens to be an interior designer and curator of amazing Etsy gifts, in a nutshell. A must-visit!
I moved to CLT almost 3 years ago and immediately was added by a local friend to the Girl Tribe Facebook Group, since then i have attended many Girl Tribe Pop Ups each year and I visit the store regularly. Every person they hire or bring on as an intern is awesome and the company in general is always giving off such empowering vibes to the local community. I always look here first when i want to gift something unique, or with a story, or that supports women owned/small/local businesses. Sarah and Carrie are such bright rays of positive sunshine in this sometimes cloudy world.
The customer service at this company is terrible. I know they dont have a large staff, but they need to hire someone to respond to e-mails about online orders, answer the phone at their store, and respond to inquiries on instagram. Emailed them about an order (no response!); dmed them on instagram ...saw they read it, but no one replied! Tried calling the store - no one answered...then they called back but when I missed the call and immediately called back, they sent me to voicemail. Their voicemail says to text them what you need to ask them...texted them and suprise.....NO RESPONSE! Out of all the boutiques here in Charlotte, they are the least responsive. Clothes are cute, some times, but you can often find the same pieces at other boutiques in Charlotte and for less of a price...this is also the type of store that marks all their tops, dresses, skirts, etc., the same price regardless of quality or individual piece. I recommend shopping at Vestique instead! Much better customer service, prices, etc....USE CODE TAMMY10 when shopping vestique online or in stores!!Also, the owner replied below referencing they responded about an oversold item...that wasnt ny issue, so they also must be having issues with other customers involving sellings items they dont have in stock. Am willing to just hope they are short staffed and working on their customer service issues!

The owner Sarah is one of the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with in a retail setting. When confronted with a resolution to a conflict and drama she created she ignored and blocked us. She is a bully looking for sympathy at the cost of someone else who doesn’t deserve it.It’s unfortunate Bc there are so many small local designers that sell their work at this store but I no longer want to support a store that pretends to empower women.It’s a sad day in retail when a stores sales associates are more professional than the owners. Hopefully they will learn from this mistake and become the store and owners they falsely portray on social media.

I’ve moved to Eastern Carolina and was interested in a board that Girl Tribe had. I DMed them on Instagram got a direct response. They sent pictures of the different options as well (without me asking. I decided on one and was sent an invoice right away. It was shipped and arrived within a few days. These ladies rock! I will continue to support this small business! Highly recommend them!

Went to the popup event this morning and paid $35 for last minute vip ticket to not receive a swag bag(what did I pay for?) And two hours early of shopping but nothing really blew my mind and I didnt really see the point for the early ticket purchase.
Finally had my chance to visit and oh my gosh! Staff was super nice, merchandise is even cuter in person than on Instagram and the shop is absolutely adorable! Wish I had more time to shop but will be back soon!!!
