We had a lovely time here. The employee was very helpful and answered all of our questions. The store is adorable and the cat lounge was very comfortable and above all the cats were so cute! I cant recommend them highly enough. Make sure to book your time for the cat lounge before you visit.

I cannot recommend this place highly enough. We reserved a 50 minute private session with the cats and it was so amazing. I love the decor, the design for the cat toys/furniture, and the entire concept. The cats seem well cared for and several were very interactive while others napped. The drinks are very affordable. The service was also fantastic. Will definitely be back.

This is a wonderful place to visit. The cats are cute and lovable. Tandy, calico one, was the sweetest kitty. He loved to snuggle and give lots of love! Tulip, black one inside the yellow pineapple bed, was so cute. She loved being pet and even started a conversation. If youre looking for a pet or just love hanging out with cats this is the place to visit.

The cafe is well-maintained and very clean. I have been here two times already, once in February 2019 and more recently in December 2019; I had great experience on both accounts. The cats were so friendly and didnt misbehave. As for the drinks, I had cappuccino and hot chocolate, no complaints so far.

This is the best cat cafe ever. They also offer boarding which I, and now my cat, adore! I love the daily updates while Im out of town. I look forward to spring this business much much more in the future.

My fiancé and I visited Daily Mews for the “kitten immersion” event a few weeks ago, since visiting helps DM fund their rescue mission. It was such a fun experience! The 50 minute session FLEW by, and the staff were all incredibly friendly; it was evident that they were passionate about the cats in their care. I also love that they do cat boarding - while I haven’t had the chance to use those services yet, the facilities looked really clean, and the pricing model is fair. The boutique also has some awesome items - highly recommend all around!

Ten out of ten. Oh my gosh if I could put this as my favorite place ever I would. If you love cats and coffee...what are you waiting for? Ive been wanting to go and been on the fence for months. I literally dont want to go to another coffee shop lol ever again...this one is perfect! The coffee was very smooth too. I got a regular coffee with cream and a pump of mocha. The ladies who work there are so nice, they let you know up front all of the simple rules and are so kind.

Such a wonderful place! The gift shop is full of all kind of wonderful cat items for people and cats. The drink selection was very diverse and all looked delicious. The cat room was so cute and had lots of different places for the kitties to play and sleep.

What fun!! Cats, coffee, and wine. Is there anything better? The Daily Mews is a warm, cozy, and inviting place to spend an afternoon reading and petting the cats. On the afternoon I visited I enjoyed seeing the cats walk along the elevated cat walks and watch the birds on the huge CAT-TV. What a hoot! They loved it. I think an hour at the Daily Mews may be better than a massage for relaxing. If one of the cats captures your heart youre in luck. All of the cats are pulled from area shelters and available for adoption. If you love cats the Daily Mews is for you. BTW the tea was wonderful. Be sure to check it out!

I am so disgusted I will never go back. I travelled from out of town. I am disabled which means a lot of effort is required for everything. They were closed for a party. As a first time customer how would I know this is possible? It doesnt take much effort to put a note on the website. She suggested I purchase a drink. I have drinks in my house & I dont drive out of town for water. I come to a Cat Cafe to play with the cats.

I am OBSESSED with this place! I went for the first time today and it is a wonderful spot. The cats were all sweet as could be and loved to play and snuggle. The space is clean and bright, and the cats have a number of fun activities to engage in that showcase their personalities. Each cat has a biography listed on the wall, and employees were able to answer questions about the cats. The gift shop is adorable and has excellent gifts for the cat lover in your life: t-shirts, cat treats and toys, mugs, notebooks, etc. They also offer a number of coffee and tea drinks as well as meowmosas. 😹

This place was great! They limit the people allowed in so you’re not with others especially during this pandemic. They drinks were great. They cats were very social and wild be a great addition for someone. We have enough pets so wasnt in the market for another.The service was so warm and inviting. The kids love love loved it! Will definitely be back again!

Love this place! Adopted my cat there about two years ago and she is the best— so friendly and well socialized with people and animals. I went back this weekend and all the cats they had were equally as friendly and sweet. Definitely check it out if you are looking to adopt or just play with sweet kitties!

This place was adorable! They had some teas and coffees and a very cute gift shop with tons of cat things. I even got to have a tea infused with cat nip which was very good. It was about $8 for a half hour and $12 for an hour. We went in for an hour and it was awesome. They had tons of toys for the cats and places for them to climb and run. They also had a big tv with birds and bird noises being played on it which the cats really loved. The vibe was very cozy and relaxing. I would definately go back.

If I lived in Charlotte, I would be buying a membership!!! Daily Mews was clean, well laid out and beautifully decorated. But most importantly, the kitties come first! They have a large escape room to retreat whenever they need a break, and this room houses their litter boxes (a nice way to ensure patrons dont see or smell them). The Cat Lounge is cozy for humans and has large windows for the cats to nap and get some sun. They even have bird TV for the cats to watch and bird feeders right outside the windows!Their drink selection is top-notch! I had a meow-mosa with some of the tastiest Prosecco that the owner hand-picked in Italy and my husband had a local beer. Both were delicious!! The boutique was also filled with cat-themed merchandise for cats and their humans. I wanted it all, but settled on a handmade catnip stick, which our cats LOVED!We were lucky enough to speak with the owners and they are very passionate about what they do! Their top priority is to find loving homes for each of their cats and give their guests a wonderful experience. We cant wait to visit again next time were in Charlotte! Thank you Daily Mews!

The Daily Mews Cat Cafe is a wonderful, well-run kitty haven, but this review is specifically about their cat boarding program.Literally cannot say enough positive things about the boarding program. Its very clear they are cat-centric and really love having kitty guests in boarding.Instead of staying in cages, cats stay in a personal Cat Condo with multiple levels to hang out in. Kitties also get out of the condo at least twice a day and get play time with the staff.Kim the GM was fantastic. Above and beyond care. She - unprompted - gave one of my cats a deep brushing with a furminator brush just because she noticed he needed it. And boy, I guess he REALLY needed it. Kathleen, one of their Cat Care specialists, was also lovely when I went to pick up my kitties.Very responsive and very flexible when I needed to extend my kitties stay.Would use again in heartbeat and HIGHLY recommend for a short or longer term stay.

I recommend visiting Daily Mews Cat Cafe if you are in the Charlotte area! The cafe has a cute gift shop, a good selection of coffee/drinks, and most importantly- the most adorable CATS! I never knew what a cat cafe was until I stumbled upon this place and I have to say it is a cat lover’s heaven 😻 We already had two senior cats at home and I had no intention of adopting a new cat but my daughter and I fell IN LOVE with this sweet little ginger boy, Rusty! We took him home exactly one year ago today and we are sooo happy that we did. This cat has brought so much joy to our home, he is such an angel! I don’t know who would get rid of such an amazing cat, but I’m so grateful that we found him and gave him a good home where he is being spoiled with love constantly. Excellent place to get kitty cuddles and sip on some drinks! They offer milk alternatives for people with allergies or vegans, which is awesome. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about their kitties. The little shop also has lots of cute things. We will definitely be back!

We had been in many cat cafes but Daily Mews our favorite so far. Place is cozy and not big as another cat cafe in Charlotte which making interactions with cats much more comfortable. All cats are friendly, we got chance to play with kittens and even picked them up, it was really joyful experience. Also coffee was delicious. I would definitely recommend to visit this place and adopt kitty from there.

I cant express how much I love this place. For the last 3 weekends, my boyfriend and I have come for coffee and kitty time and its honestly the best way to spend an afternoon. The kitties have a wide range of personalities and the staff are so helpful with telling you about the cats. You can tell that the staff are passionate about what theyre doing. I also really enjoyed the store. I picked up some gold plated cat earrings for just $13 and a nice little cat pen. I love that this agency has all sorts of cats and not just kittens. They make an effort to help all cats and give them a chance at a great life. I truly love their mission and encourage everyone to come out and support them.

Walked in to a CUTE, small shop with a bunch of cat themed gifts. Ordered a latte and a brownie, then was allowed into the cat room. Some music was playing, and there was a lady who supervised the kitties. We played with them, and cuddled with them! Its $12 an hour per person. I recommend making an online reservation. They were very accommodating and kind. I am excited to come back soon!

Daily Mews is one of my favorite places in Charlotte. They took my cats in when I could no longer keep them and have taken wonderful care of them since. I am able to go visit them whenever I want, and they have facilitated an adoption with a good home. Their staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about felines, and they have great drinks and some snacks available for purchase too. They also have a fun gift shop with lots of cool things.

The Daily Mews Cat Cafe is a treat if you love animals, but cant or dont want to take care of any at home. These kitties are all up for adoption and are good around people and other animals, thanks to their careful screening process.You do have to pay for an hour reservation, but this goes toward their kitty litter, food, and other expenses. Definitely a good cause.After the hour was up, we spent some time talking with Tamara, the co-owner of the cat cafe. She was very friendly and spent time sharing her inspiration and process for getting the cat cafe going. She wanted to help abandoned and neglected cats find homes, and this was a way she found to do it.Theyve also got merchandise such as cat toys and t-shirts for purchase. I got a t-shirt myself, and I can honestly say its the most comfortable shirt I own right now. The quality is high and the design is well-done to boot.If you want to relax with some furry friends for an hour and contribute to a good cause, this is the place for you.

Absolutely loved finding Daily Mews, joined their mempurrship on my first visit. Its so calming and the cats are so sweet. Ill be spending many lazy afternoons here with a good book and cafe drink just chilling with the kitties!!

Just kind of stumbled across this place while I was getting my oil changed across the street, figured I might as well check it out. It was awesome! They had fat cats, small cats, furry cats, sleepy cats, and energetic kittens, and lots of toys you can use too. You have to buy time in the cat room in 30 min intervals, so I got an hour (roughly $10) and alternated between reading a book and playing with whatever cat wandered up to me. The room is pretty chill, and they have a dedicated cat wrangler if you have any questions about the cats (what their personality is like, are they available for adoption, etc). I got a tea infused with catnip at the cafe and it was pretty good too (and the cats kept poking their noses around it). By the time my hour was up, my car was ready to go; best visit to the mechanic I ever had!

I felt such a warm, positive, Happy environment when I walked into the Mews Cat cafe. The very nice girl who we spoke to was helpful, knowledgeable and very understanding, when we discussed with her, our feline issues. What a wonderful and sacred place for cats...

Nice place to spend time with cats. Its like a timeshare for cats, which means youve to pay - $7.50 for 30 mins or $12 per hr or get unlimited access membership at $60 per month. They also have a decent selection of coffee and beers on tap. Also has gift store. On the flip side if you arent there for the cats or waiting for your turn with the cats there isnt enough seating. Not many parking spots. It is best to call ahead and make reservations.

The cost to adopt is less than half of other shelters out there, and the cats are in much better health, care, and clean. Its a wonderful environment, and very safe to bring your children. The cats are well cared for, and we love the one-eyed cat that we adopted. Thanks so much!!

Coffee, soda, snacks, and CATS!

The interior was pleasant and they had enough cats so that if a few were sleeping there were still enough cats to play with. The gift shop had an array of cat themed items, from cute little bowls to grow your own catnip. The cafe part was a tad small with a small selection, but the the iced caramel latte I got was delicious and fairly priced.

I recently moved close by, and I have been here, like, 6 times in 2 weeks. I actually adopted a sweet boy!! Adoption is $90 and includes spay/neuter, vaccinations, socialization, and microchip! I have been a barista for 5 years now and Magnolia coffee is my favorite, and they serve it here! They surprisingly don’t sacrifice quality. The cats are all well taken care of and very sweet little rescues. The boutique has unique artisan cat supplies and gifts. The cat room is full of stylish and custom amenities, including an awesome hanging bridge. All around, I could not recommend this place enough, and am happy to frequent it to continue funding it.

Daily Mews is the first cat cafe Ive ever been to - and I will be returning! The employees are very helpful and willing to talk about the various cats and their personalities. The location is a little odd, but the facility is well lit, immaculate and designed for the cats comfort.The price is very reasonable on an hourly basis for the chance to interact with so many cats - and the employees keep the cats well-being uppermost.

Took my daughter for her 10th birthday and she loved it. I think the whole concept is weird, but if youre a cat person youll enjoy it. They also had some good coffee and some great craft beers.

We met and adopted our newest family member from Daily Mews. The staff here are so caring and compassionate. Nice place had 13 very cute cats. Only complaint is how small it is.. The employees take up most of the space and kind of crowd you a bit. Really like the concept just needs more space for customers.

This was such a fun experience for my 8 year old daughter and I. Not only fun but very educational. We reserved our spot, was offered a free beverage, and went into the well lit, beautifully decorated, and ventilated room where all the cats were! When we arrived most of them were asleep but we were introduced to each, given simple rules to follow, and started petting because they were hard to resist. It was amazing to learn they partner with the animal hospital next door and are so passionate about getting them adopted but providing them love in the meantime. We loved watching them wake up and play with the toys and wander up and down the fun bridge. I’m surprised we didn’t leave with one! After our time was up, we browsed the cute cat themed shop and haven’t stopped talking about it since! Definitely a great experience and will be back!
