I live in Michigan and really liked the product that this company offers. Unfortunately, with them being in North Carolina, it is a bit far. On calling in, I was able to get a hold of Adam who suggested a few contractors in my area that would be able to assist. If you live in the area, I would recommend using Loc-Doc as any company willing to help someone they are not going to get business from is worth giving a chance. Fast Courteous Service

We hired them on short notice to fix some fire doors that needed new closers and coordinators and they did a great job and stayed through to make sure it was perfect. I cant tell you how much of a pleasure it was to have someone come out on short notice and do such a great job for a fair price. I would highly recommend them.

Absolutely do NOT recommend working with this company.I recently opened a business that had an existing Loc Doc keypad. Upon moving into this business, I inquired about changing the code to my door. My sales rep had someone reach out to me on the phone. During our very brief call, they explained they could send a manual over for me to reset it myself or send someone out to change the code for me. The person I spoke with mentioned the manual was somewhat complicated, so I opted to have someone come out.Once the technicians arrived, I greeted them. They asked for the existing code which I provided. About 10 minutes later, they let me know the codes were changed and that, to my very strong surprise, I owed them $190 on the spot. Now, let’s be realistic. I just opened a business - I understand things are not free. However, I truly did not know there was cost associated with this reset service. I understood this as a maintenance call. Cost was never explained or discussed when my options were outlined to me on the phone prior, or I would have opted to take a crack at the manual myself to save on the $190.Fast forward, I sent an email and received a call from Nathan, Service Manager. Needless to say, the call did not go well. He continuously attempted to use analogies with my business industry saying “when’s the last time you performed a service for someone and they said they didn’t know they had to pay at the end?” And I replied never - because I would explain the payment process and provide an estimate before hand. My question to Nathan is when is the last time you bought something without knowing the price? Probably not so often.Lastly, my integrity was questioned multiple times. Nathan explained to me that both service technicians that came to my business to perform the service had CONFIRMED they told me BEFORE the service was provided that payment would need to be complete once the service was done. This was absolutely not the case and if it was, I wouldn’t be spending 10 minutes of my life writing this review. Once I told Nathan this did not happen, he said “so two of my employees are lying?”. Honestly, your call Loc Doc.

May be a little bit more expensive then the rest but he comes in and gets the job done right. He makes sure you know exactly what needs to be done and how he is going to do it. I lost my car key which had a chip on it but when he came down to make me another he completely got rid of the chip so now if I lose it again it will cost almost 150$ less then with the chip. Idk about you but that’s pretty awesome. He is also very costumer friendly. Strongly recommend.
