Ordered a few donuts this weekend. We had ordered online about 3-4 minutes before we got there. So when we got there we expected a little wait as they were busy and it is the weekend. We probably only waited 3-4 minutes when we got there and the nice young lady behind the counter had seen us sitting there and asked what our order was. She got it out a couple seconds later and even threw in an extra couple donuts for us. Cant ask for better customer service and yeah the donuts are amazing as well 🤘🤘. 5 stars all the way around.

I Doordash sometimes to make a little extra money, and I take it seriously. I make sure orders are correct before I leave restaurant or store, I make sure orders are taped or packed correctly, and reach out to customer if order is not ready and have even waited as long as 30 minutes for an order.This is the case with this particular order. An employee told me when I first got there “we haven’t made this order yet so it’ll be 5-6 minute wait, but you know you can always let another Dasher pick it up”. Annoyed, tell this to my gas tank, and I don’t pass along work. I waited 30 minutes, while informing customer of delay, while they filled every walk in order. I was about to cancel but I was already communicating with customer.Finally made order and placed it on counter, without informing me that it’s ready. I will not come back as a dasher or a customer.

Love love these donuts! If you haven’t tried them yet I heavily suggest you do. They’re sweet but not too sweet. They have a variety of flavors some simple and some fun creative flavors. Clean store and nice staff.

Weve loved and frequented this Duck Donuts location for years, but as someone previously wrote- they have fallen off.On our recent visit the store was filthy (even areas that arent frequently used/should not have dried dough etc). Disappointing!

I hate to say it, but I won’t come here again. I love the donuts, but it’s not worth a 40 minute wait. They could easily fix it, if they had more than one person making donuts and they’d be great again. But clearly they’re not reading or responding to reviews, maybe they don’t even know they’re failing so badly. Never again.

My family and I headed to this location for the fall assortment and we arrived right at 6:20pm. Well some how the time we arrived was an issue due to the fact this location closes at 7. The employees definitely made it clear they wasn’t liking the time we came in. One girl huffed, and yelled out gosh when taking the receipt of the order off the printer. Once it was time to give us our donuts she slammed the box and called us over to take a look at the donuts. No hello no thank you. Very unwelcoming. I would have a name but the employees don’t wear name tags. Oh and by the way she was eating the entire time in between making the donuts.

First let me say that Duck Donuts are delicious, we love them and have used them for events in the past. However I had a huge issue last Saturday. I had pre-ordered 10 dozen donuts for a work event and arranged a pick up date/time. I tried at least a dozen times to call the day before to confirm my order and they they would be ready for pickup. They never answer their phone. I arrived to pick up my order and they hadnt even started on it. I waited 50 minutes, was late for work and the event. I then completed a contact us form on their website and never heard anything. Between not answering the phone and not following up on requests for contact they clearly dont care about customer satisfaction. Sadly, I will not be using them for events again.

Finally tried Duck Donuts and I was impressed. The employees were friendly and welcoming. The Donuts on the other hand.....were amazing. There were numerous toppings on the menu, as well as an option to create your own donut. Once your order is placed, the donuts are topped on the spot. When I received my order, the donuts were fresh, like they came straight out of the oven or fryer into my hand. My favorites was the dirt worm and maple bacon donuts. I will definitely be back in the near future for more!!

Not what they use to be.. the place is dirty and messy and they never change their gloves which with covid and handling food you should! I ask for a mocha frapped they gave me a regular coffee when I told this is not a mocha Frapped they said yes it is it has a drizzle of chocolate on it... im like what? sad to say I will not be coming back again.. I hope one day they improved..

Fresh out the fryer.The array of toppings, glazes, and drizzles available are simply out of this world.I am seriously considering getting a second job here. They could pay me in donuts and Id be good.

Very good and very fresh. For a “design your own donut@ and specialty donut, the prices are also good.The cashier was very helpful and patient with us as we had never been. It was really cool to see all of the concoctions you can come up with on your own order sheet to have made.It is also to cool to watch them make your order from batter to toppings, boxed and ready to go as they call your ticket number. It was awesome to watch that.They also have coffee, drinks, and water (free) for you to drink.

Love the donuts but the woman working oct 15 around 930 was extremely slow and did not help the man prepare donuts. She stood around most of the time slowly moving .

The donuts were Amazing. I tried the new Pumpkin Frappuccino . It was Absolutely Awful.....Good customer service. I had already left the building ; before I realized how awful the Frappuccino was . Wow, other than that good experience. Will return next time donuts only.

Was there for 40min waiting for my order. Finally got fed-up ask for a refund. They then told me they called my name when they did not. They then said we can make it now. I told them it was already to late that I will never shop here again. Went to dunkin donut instead.

The best donuts ever! I so love the maple bacon, especially when its warm. Its so cool being able to see your donuts be made! They can even be warmed when you get home. So good!

The entire staff was so welcoming and polite. I love duck donuts, they are like no other! Its almost like eating a mini cake. The store was nice and clean, both inside and out. The donuts are absolutely delicious. I got a variety of flavors because of course, I could not choose. I highly recommend everyone to try out Duck donuts. You will not be dissatisfied or disappointed. Sandra took care of my order and she was beyond generous and very helpful!!

I’m no donut connoisseur but these might be the best donuts I have ever had in my life. We got the blueberry pancake, maple bacon, lemon-raspberry, basic glazed, and vanilla glazed. All of these were made fresh and had a subtle crunch on the exterior with a warm, fluffy and rich center. The flavors are unmatched and I wish one of these were in Michigan!

The donuts were delicous! Wish we had got 2 dozen instead of 1. Customer service is lacking. Girl at register was cold and sort of threw my change in my hand. Store needs cleaning too or maybe a new coat of paint in brighter colors. New furniture wouldnt hurt either. However, the donuts were great so I can almost over look the rest ... almost.

I have had a lot of donuts in my life and I can honestly say that this is probably one of the best ones Ive ever had. I stopped in here with two friends while visiting Charlotte and Im so happy that we did so. You can customize your own donut and put your own toppings on it which is great. But you can also choose from their pre-designed options. The donut itself is so moist and like that even just picking it up makes the donut flex. Its definitely cooked all the way through but its very soft which gives it a fantastic texture. I would absolutely recommend to visit in.

Order through Doordash waited over a hour. Went in the store to find that they didnt have some of the stuff I ordered. Ended up canceling my order. Seems the customers that came in the store was priority.

I was at the Kenilworth Location this morning (around 8:30). Allison was the only one working. There was a crowd waiting. Allison took everyones orders, then went and put the order together. She worked quickly and without complaining. She even managed to be polite and social with each customer. Allison deserves the Gold Star!

Great service, made fresh and custom ordered. These donuts are seriously the best I’ve ever had. For custom and made fresh, I’m surprised they’re not more expensive. They have T-shirts and mugs, plus some little knickknacks available. This place is fun and tasty for sure!

Im visiting from out of town and a friend recommended this place. I always like to try local food. This was by far the best and coolest donut shop Ive been to. I like how you can see how they make it and its made fresh right then and there. The only thing I didnt like was there was a bit of after taste in the donuts probably from the oil. But the donuts were soft and cakey like taste. My favorite is the chocolate donut with coconut and peanuts.

Came here to get a couple of doughnuts, but their machine wasnt making the doughnuts like it was supposed to make them. So we had to wait 30 minutes for them to switch to another machine. We were patient bc we understood. They offered to give us the doughnuts and a refund and we didnt want the refund bc thats a business. And Im not about taking money out of someones pockets bc it wasnt their fault. The manager and the ladies that made our doughnuts were really nice! Doughnuts came out perfect and hot!

So, I had to wait a few months before I could post an objective review. We had a catering order with this location of duck doughnuts for our wedding in June and let’s just say things didn’t go smoothly. After confirming the order twice, my friends show up day of to pick up and the workers there said “we don’t have an order under that name”. After a lot of back and forth it appears that they did indeed have an order for 200 doughnuts picking up at 2 pm that day, they just didn’t put our name on it. At first, they almost didn’t even try to fulfill the order, but luckily I had some firm friends there. Finally, at 3:30, my friends were able to leave with 150 doughnuts and barely make it to my wedding. Mistakes happen and that was an honest mistake, but why I gave a 1 star review is because at first they didn’t even try to fulfill the order (even though they knew someone would be picking up 200 doughnuts at 2pm June 20th) AND they didn’t even refund me any payment (yeah I prepaid for this catering order) so they still owe me 50 doughnuts. Anyways, the doughnuts were good but not worth that chaos at all!

You get to pick your own toppings! Staff was awesome in helping us pick our topping. You get the donuts fresh and warm! I cant express how amazing this place is!

I heard these were delicious, however a 1.5 hour wait to have these made and being forced to wait isnt guest friendly. Im a understanding person, but nothing should take that long for an order and pick up. Maybe next time.

Been wanting to try for a while and finally did! And so worth it. Got a sausage, egg, and cheese on a regular donut for myself. And the same thing but bacon instead of sausage for a friend. We both loved it! Like a mcgriddle but sooo much better. The sausage had a little kick to it so that was a great compliment to the sweetness of the donut. The cheese was perfectly melted and the egg was spot on for the final touch. Awesomeness in a box. Watched the ladies making donuts while I waited. Each one looked super special with crazy toppings like bacon and caramel. Cannot wait to go back!

The best donuts ever! Their cake donut base is amazing, and the flavor combinations of icing, drizzles, and toppings make it even better. My absolute favorite is the lemon icing, but all of them are good! I also highly recommend the cinnamon sugar, maple icing, and powdered sugar. Best eaten fresh and warm, but still good after heated in the microwave for 10-15 seconds. I wasn’t even a big fan of donuts until I tried Duck Donuts, and now it’s one of my favorite desserts!

This Donut shop has delicious donuts to feed a sweet tooth, cravers of something sweet, a cheat day item or a cool place to take the kids. However, they do not offer ice cream like some of the other Duck Donut shops. KEONA, is a great decorator when it comes to replicating the picture that you see on the menu. We were very pleased. Thanks Keona and I recommend this place.

Duck Donuts is pretty delicious. Theres usually a long line I would suggest calling in the order in advance. We picked up 6 dozen for a wedding and everyone loved it.

We each ordered a maple, hubby got the peanut butter, and cinnamon sugar. I also ordered the beach and french toast.Excited whilest nervous about trying yet another donut shop here in Charlotte we hurriedly picked up our order number 68 and headed to the car. The first thing I noticed the warm satisfying aroma of the freshly cooked donuts. I could literally smell maple and what seemed to be french toast.The second thing was how warm they were. WOW! Freshly cooked made to order donuts. Theres an idea for ya!The third thing as we sank our teeth into the mouth watering donuts was taste. These are not your ordinary cake donuts. This is a cross between Krispy Kreme barely there yeast donuts and Dunkin Donuts cake donuts. They were light and fluffy and moist. Incredible! Ive never had a donut like this before.The flavor is strong but not overpowering. They were flavored and sweet and great donuts.My second donut was eaten cold about 9 hours later and still it was just as good.I will say this, theres alot of sugar in these donuts. Just the bite would satisfy my sweet hankering. Hubby was surprised as well. Yum! I first started going to this place in Cary, NC and fell in love. I was so excited to find one here in Charlotte and they didnt disappoint! My favorite is the maple bacon doughnut. They are always made fresh and come to you nice and warm.

I was given my first Duck Doughnut by a coworker and it was great! I have since visited the Duck Doughnuts here in Charlotte NC on several occasions and Im sad to say that Ive been disappointed every single time! I am not sure if this location does not train on how to properly make the icing but it is sugar water, runny, and absorbed into the doughnuts. Its hard to tell how terrible it is until I get home and open my box to see that the icing has run off the doughnuts and resting in the bottom of the box. It is really frustrating. I have pictures that I would love to attach you can see that the icing is so watery that it has run off and began to mix in the box. These look nothing like what is advertised. People praise these doughnuts, its a mess! I keep going back with hope that it will change but its not. I got 6 doughnuts all in double boxes today because my intention was to share but I cannot give this to anyone I have to throw it all away! Ive spoke to the store manager once about this, he was a nice guy & replaced my order but it was still nothing compared to the pictures on your website or the first Duck Doughnut that someone gave me. I e-mailed customer service and was told thanks for your imput...

It’s been a while since I had a fresh, warm doughnut. Glad I made the trip here. I’m not a huge fan of lots of toppings, but the glaze flavors were tasty. Staff was warmer than the doughnuts. Will visit again.

Probably the best donuts I’ve ever had in my life. If you’re in the area and looking for a treat, this is the place to be. Go early in the morning and grab a cup of coffee with your donut, you won’t be disappointed.

This is one of the best donut places in Charlotte. I think I like Joe’s Doughs and Pepperbox Donuts a little more, but I still love their donuts here. The biggest edge they have is that all of their donuts are served fresh off the line so they are warm when you get them. I like being able to customize and make my own donut. This is definitely a great stop for donuts!

Called to place a order placed me on hold for over 25 minutes. Pulled up outside 10 minutes later placed my order and was still on hold and said wait was 45 minutes not the best customer service. But great donuts

The service can be a little bit slow during rush times, but the made-to-order warm donuts make up for it. I like the maple bacon the best (add a salted Carmel drizzle for a little extra pizzazz) my husband loves the chocolate with coconut and peanuts

The donuts are good. We got a dozen doughnuts for 12 dollars so I think that’s a pretty good deal. I got the maple bacon, bacon in the sun, and the beach. They were all good, but I feel that they could have been better.

Hands down my favorite donuts....When I tell you that they are like Lay’s..... you can’t eat just one.... especially when they are hot.I always get a half dozen with some combination of lemon and some other flavor.... ie, lemon icing with raspberry drizzle, strawberry icing with lemon drizzle, lemon icing with coconut topping.

Its all about the toppings! The donuts are very good cake like donuts(no glazed, twist, just cake) and you choose from a large variety of toppings. Everyone loves the bacon donuts. The prices are reasonable, the selection of flavor are unique & fun. They dont have a lot of locations, but this one was very helpful & nice. They typically stay crowded.

Today I went to Duck Donuts to try the sundae donut. I will advice people not to get it. The Krispy Kreme donut sandwich is wayyy better. Duck Donuts sundae sandwich messed my stomach up. I wanted to vomit.

Duck Doughnuts are CONSISTENTLY some of the best Doughnuts REGARDLESS of the location. Every one I go to is easily above average. For what its worth the Charlotte location may have the Prettiest doughnuts. But no less delicious.

Drive across town to get Duck Doughnuts before they close at 3:00PM. Its 2:30 and they locked the door with a sign that says were not taking any more orders.

Ordered online and was told twice to wait outside and my order would be brought out. After 25 minutes and being the last customer waiting outside after multiple people had had their orders taken and given to them, finally went inside to check and the order was sitting on the pick up table cold. Maybe it was my fault for not checking the pick up table sooner. I was just trying to be respectful of their store capacity and rules and do what I was told... It left me profoundly sad. But I do still enjoy a good Duck Donut from a good location now and then.
