My first visit to Landmark with my friend who has been several times. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The menu has several items, so it was hard to narrow down to a choice. Started with Spanakopita for appetizer. For an entrée, roasted turkey breast, dressing & gravy, due to some reviews, with mashed potatoes and green beans. The green beans were savory. The turkey & dressing was so delicious that I slowed down to savor the flavors. My friend had one of the daily specials, spaghetti with meatballs. She said it was good too. I also brought home some Mile High chocolate cake for my husband and a walnut brownie for myself later. The brownie was awesome.I will be back to try other options.
Great breakfast 🥞 and lunch 🥪 spot. Thats why its so popular. Service is great, extensive menu and a drink bar.Had a mix of breakfast and lunch items: French Onion Soup, Farmers breakfast with grits and biscuits, and the flounder lunch with pickled beets. Great food reasonable prices and a great bakery 🧁 selection.
Went there for lunch. Took very long to get food ( coffee pancakes and fried flounder) the two of us waited a long time to get food and beverage. The total time was more than 45 minutes. Most working people get 30 maybe 60 minutes for lunch. For a diner, at lunch, to take this much time for a simple order is unacceptable.The manager spent the 45 minutes of the time I was there talking with a patron. Maybe that time would be better spent making sure his business ran smoothly.The food was not bad but not worth the wait.Has quality food and proper service gone out of style?
I have been coming here since before birth, my mom came here while pregnant with me and I’m still coming here after 27 years. I can go on for decades how great landmark is. I love this place so much!!! This is my favorite restaurant and I have never been to any diner that I like better than landmark. The staff is almost as wonderful as the food they serve. Everything was delicious and the serving sizes are incredible. All cakes are made in house and looked mouth watering. I loved my food and the prices are very reasonable. I would definitely return. Stop on and enjoy a good meal.
Ive been here before on a date with my boyfriend and it was really nice. They have a nice food selection, great ambiance, and amazing staff. Would love to go back sometime!!
Typical diner food and decent prices.Not too much flavor or special iconic meals to choose from. I’ll try to recommend the Cahalla French toast it’s the most favorite out of my party of 8! My party mostly disliked the Philly cheesesteak, not a crowd pleaser not good meat or something. 👎FOOD: ⭐️⭐️ missing flavors on everything but Large portion sizesPRICE:: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ decent for food portion, most plates less than $20LOCATION:: ⭐️⭐️small parking area hidden with only a giant “L” on the building
Ok, this place was just a shot in the dark. We were looking for an IHOP-ish breakfast.... but, IM SO GLAD WE DIDNT FIND IT! This place blew our expectations away! They had EVERYTHING that you could want from a traditional breakfast menu. They were also serving lunch as well. Our waitress was so nice and helpful. Then the glass case of amazing desserts! (see my pics) You will just have to go in and see for yourself! We will absolutely be returning to this little gem! Thank you, Landmark Restaurant and Diner!
Our waitress was great; our food was great. The variety was astounding. I got Greek; my husband and oldest son got breakfast. My daughter got a club, and the 12-year-old got pasta. It was all hot and delicious. My oldest talked about the home fries for days. A great choice for a family dinner.
My Bestfriend and myself went early this morning about 6:30 am. Thinking that because it’s so early the food would come out fast and hot, we we’re wrong ! The food was warm and when we asked our waiter to warm it up she caught a nasty attitude and rolled her eyes. She takes our food to the back with the help of another young lady and when she comes back she asked us did we want hot sauce or ketchup mind you we have breakfast food (pancakes,eggs, sausage) this was my FIRST and LAST time there
Nice staff and service. Decent food... but for the love of all things that make sense... please chop your salads more so they are edible.Not all menu items consistently available.

This place has amazing food. The server we had was amazing. Wish we lived closer it would definitely be a routine place to eat. I had country steak and gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans. Husband had the corn beef sandwich and pancakes. He said the corn beef was the best he had ever had. Lots of food on the plate. We were stuffed and very please when we left.
First time there was great experience! Laura was fabulous. Great service, big portions… will definitely be back regularly!
I have loved this place for over 20 years. It is iconic. The food is and has always been good. I got a fried fillet flounder and shrimp plate for under $15.00. It was so good and the portion was very nice. But the best part of the meal at Landmark is their dessert case. Wow! The cakes and pies are amazing. And to top it all off we had great service. 😊
Service was great. Food was delicious. They always give big portions so usually always have some to take home. Very clean. Everything came out just at the right time.
Today I ate breakfast at Landmark diner. I ordered the veggies omelet with vegetables saluted well. The omelet was brought out not the way I ordered. I ask the waitress to take it back. I order an Omega special they rejected my reorder an said . I had to reorder the omelet that was cooked wrong. In recent times the food at Landmark can come out hit or miss. An today was one of those days that they missed, an today the ball was dropped an customer service was at a low. I dont know of I will return for another breakfast.
It was good only because we had picked a good time to go for dinner so it wasnt too busy at all. The food was alright I guess, I just will definitely NOT order a burger again from there so I guess its a good thing that we dont always visit there for food!! The burger just didnt seem cooked enough and it pretty much grossed me out when I bit into it! I only ended up eating half a it and bringing the other half home and just throwing it away since I knew I wouldnt eat it because Im sure it wouldnt of been any better cold!!
Excellent food and service!! We saw Landmark on Diners, Dives and Drive Ins and decided to visit. We were not disappointed! Food and service was awesome. We have been 3 times and both remained consistently good. Our waitresses were very helpful and made excellent recommendations!!
There was a couple of times, after ordering a takeout meal, that my cheesecake wasnt boxed up. I didnt realize it until I got home, but its all good though. You guys are still the best.

Overall this is one of my favorite restaurants. they put a lot of effort into everything.My wife, daughter and I come here regularly for breakfast and it is excellent. The food is delicious, the service is very very good (they must hire and retain very well), the restaurant itself is homey and clean, the prices are reasonable and portions generous..... I cant say enough about this place.
1st time here for breakfast. I had coffee, eggs, bacon, toast and grits. Hubby eats the grits as im not a fan. Hubby had coffee, biscuits and gravy and eggs and of course the grits. We both enjoyed our breakfast completely. And as usual the service is always wonderful and staff is super friendly. Meal was nice and hot, eggs cooked perfectly medium.Will be back!! Oh and hubby decided a take home Tuxedo dessert was a perfect ending.
Not a person to do this usually, but as a repeat customer of 2 years, I have to say I was highly disappointment today. Out of my last three orders, two of them have been missing many food items. Today I called in an order for pickup and was told it would be ready in about 15 minutes. 1 hour later as I sat and waited, my food was finally done and I got it and went home. Upon getting home I realized that I was given a container of gravy with no biscuits. I ordered biscuits and gravy and all they gave me was a little container of gravy. My eggs were cold and everything else was cold because of the fact that I had to sit there and wait for the gravy to be done. Once my order was finished it sat on the counter for an additional 20 minutes because the guy at the counter did not check to see that it was done and whose it was. Horrible horrible service and Im not sure if I will come back anymore at least not for pickup orders
One of my favorites, owned by Greek chefs who prepare a large selection of American dishes and some Greek items. Pleasant atmosphere, good service and fair prices for the amount of food.
Been traveling an over 3 hour drive from Sampson county to dine here since 1996...WONDERFUL!!!!....Especially the desserts and the portions are way more than generous...i dont understand why folks are so quick to give a bad review...could have been a tough day or night...especially with our government paying people more than their regular wages not to work...finding. quality and experienced help is almost impossible....keep keeping on LANDMARK...THIS IS AN AMAZING PLACE!!!!
Ashley, our waitress, was an absolute sweetheart! She made us feel so welcome and taken care of, Perfectly attentive! The food was delicious and the prices TOO good!! 👍🏻👍🏻 Bacon was crisp, sausage was perfectly seasoned, pancakes perfect, omelette was flavorful, potatoes were great. It’s a RARE restaurant where you can feel at ease to order anything and be satisfied! Would definitely come back.
Food is alway fresh! I wish they served their full menu alll day but breakfast is definitely exceed my expectations every time.
Amazing local breakfast spot! (Open for other meals- we only came for breakfast.) My family enjoyed this local diner twice on our visit to Charlotte because the food, service, and environment were great. They have a friendly team that will take great care of you! The menu offers so much variety with such value. I enjoyed 3 chocolate chip pancakes with 5 pieces of bacon. The Challah bread French toast with cinnamon and sugar is delicious and unique! The Challah bread is homemade in store. They also have great eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, breakfast potatoes & more! Great seating options for parties of all sizes, we had a party of 7 comfortably at a large booth. The bathrooms were nice, they offer a case of baked goods and breads to enjoy there or take home. Don’t miss enjoying this fabulous local diner!They serve coke products and Mr. Pibb.
Always huge, tasty portions at competitive prices, but you may want to plan to carry away about half your entree if you have your heart set on one of their many enticing desserts.
Extremely friendly service, tasty food, and I even got a tip on where to get good Pastrami. Had to know off a star because they no longer serve pastrami and I got unnecessarily excited and the thought of a pastrami omelet. My hopes were dashed like a ship on the rocks and scattered to the depths. The corned beef is pretty good, but a pale shade of the spiced rendered glory that is pastrami.
Had an excellent experience at landmark. First time I had eaten breakfast there. Excellent food excellent service. No complaints whatsoever.

We had the absolute best service for our party of 16 people, the wings were awesome but the desserts are legendary. This is definitely a great place to go again.

Iam please to say their food is always good. The waiters are some what friendly but I believe when giving to many tables services lack I dont get my refills drinks neither my family.I happen to be waiting for my order as we where sitting for 15 minutes. But food is delicious.
Dont order the chicken shrimp creole, its a waste of money and its sunny and the shrimp isnt even cleaned. Hostess is overwhelmed and loses track of your order if youre doing takeout. Just not a place for anyone visiting looking for quality service and a quality meal. Go for away from this place bc you will be disappointed believe me

I have been coming to the restaurant for over 20 years. I love the food and the desserts are wonderful. I am going to share that if you are ordering to-go, make sure you ask the prices before you pick up. I looked at the online menu and when I arrived everything was either a dollar or two higher then what we saw on the menu. Well, when you are ordering four dinners --- it added up to be lot more than expected. Also, they dont show the prices for the desserts -- get ready, some things are $6.00 a slice. I dont mind paying for quality, I just like to be prepared, not blindsided ---

New York chef salad if a huge 3 or 4 person salad with 2 or 3 meats and cheese. Love this salad. Its priced just right. Their other foods are great too but that salad...OMG. love it.

Have been going here for almost 20 years. Up until recently always delicious. The last coupletimes including last night, service was very slow and long. The place wasn’t really crowded at all. The food in my opinion has not been what it once was. Lukewarm roast beef, underdone fries, almost raw broccoli. Not sure if it’s losing the touch but wondering if I’ll go back at all after the last couple of visits.
There is legitimately.something for everyone here--and its all excellent! We love their breakfast and their gyros.

Extensive menu, offering breakfast all day long, sandwiches, salads, steaks, seafood, etc. Everything is good with ample servings. Table servers are friendly and responsive. Old fashioned dessert case will greet you as you enter and its difficult to pass up dessert. Great value. Recently remodeled.
They make an excellent Texas burger. I had to get a take out box for the lefty overs. No room to try their inviting desserts. 😋

Its named landshark for a reason... this place is a fixture in Charlotte. Go there for the meal and stay for the dessert cabinet.
Love, love, love. I havent eaten anything I didnt like. Have been going for years. During the week theres cornbread. On Sundays theres lamb chops. I go on Sunday and get lamb chops, grilled broccoli and get garlic bread. Yummy every time! Service always attentive.

When they say the French toast is large bread, they mean it! I was thinking texas toast size, but its like twice that. Good food, good service. I do wish the waitress had worn her mask actually *over* her face instead of under even her mouth, though. Really my only major complaint.

Weve been meaning to try this restaurant since the food network did a segment on it. We were not disappointed. My husband got the chicken souvlaki (hope thats spelled correctly) and I got the pork chops and we split an order of spanikopita. It was all well done but the spanikopita and tzatziki were both the best either of us had ever had (and we have had a lot of Greek food). The service was incredible. Our server was super friendly and efficient, knowledgeable and welcoming and had great tips for what to get. We will be going back again really soon....wonder if anyone would say anything if we were there again tomorrow to try their turkey and dressing or Italian items which also sounded delicious.
This is a restaurant that if you go one time, you will plan for the next dining date. The food is one of a kind, the flavor, cooked the way you wanted it, fresh and alot on your plate. If you cant eat all, you can take it with you. Our server, Jiva(may have miss spelled), she was the best. She made sure we had our glasses filled or anything else that we needed. We have known the owners for a very long time, when they were at Big Village off of South Blvd. There food was good then, that is why I wanted to celebrate my 72 birthday at, LANDMARK. We moved out of Charlotte, about 15 years ago. I wanted soon good food so that was my place to celebrate. Tom and Marie keep up the great work. Hope to go back soon. Great experience at this restaurant. We visited here because of the highlight on one of Guy Fieris Drive-in, Diners & Dives TV show. Service was great, wife had a chicken Gyro with Greek salad & vegetable soup and I had the Greek Gyro with Greek salad and an excellent potato soup. Service was excellent and friendly. Would highly recommend this for your choice for lunch or dinner destination!

The food was DISGUSTING. The Owner John told my waiter I waited to long to say I didn’t like it. When it took me time to cut up all my meat in my food and mix it. Also the waiter did not come back after I had done so. I asked to speak with him and he decided he wanted to leave. With my waiter letting him know that was waiting for him. Very unacceptable service.
Great homestyle food and good service. The dessert offerings are awesome. Very popular spot for those who know.
