Great place to visit with friends, work on work, buy gag gifts, or just people watch. This location has a cool covered outdoor area with plenty of spaces and seating. Inside is also spacious with a tap bar, plenty of canned beer selections, and food! If you’re in the neighborhood and looking to rest or hang out, the vibes here are chill.

Love meeting friends for lunch here. They have a good BLT. Huge drink selection, from beer, to white claw, to local breweries. Definitely a vibe.

Saw their mouthwatering spicy chicken sandwich on ig and I knew i had to have it. Went by there today and ordered it to go. I finally opened it only to be greeted with a sad piece of disappointment that is the entity you see pictured below. Spicy chicken sandwich? More like bitter charcoal sandwich😩😩 Anyway, called the store to politely complain about food upon consulting my friend Google. They were super nice about it though and offered me another one. I didnt have time to pick it up but their effort was appreciated.Tldr; burnt food but good customer service

Very laid back place to have a beer, or fresh coffee, sandwiches and they have tons of snacks available. Great draft selections and cans/bottles of all kinds of craft beer and other hard to find drinks. The staff is helpful and friendly, roger is a hoot. They also have a pinball machine to keep the kid happy. This location is better than the others because of the huge parking lot available and less trafficked area.

Great food, great atmosphere, great staff and an incredible Reuben Sandwich. Roger and every other team member on staff were attentive and treated my wife and I like we were regular customers even though this was our first time dining here.

They have it all!! A bar, great food, wine/beer and literally all the other stuff you could want. I love that they sell fresh meat that is local and that it’s not so “normal”. I love the style and definitely will be back!

I want to like this place as its close to my house, but holds no candle to Rhino Market. They messed up our online pickup order and the quality was poor. It also took 30 minutes to prepare, even though very few people were at the place. A lot of folks standing around in the back looking around.

Great local neighborhood joint offering a varied selection of unique high quality beers, wines, coffees, foods, snacks etc...Known for their creative breakfast and lunch sandwiches, eclectic feel and laid back atmosphere this location may soon offer prepared take away foods for dinner. As of early May 2017 they are still working on stocking the store since they JUST opened and I look forward to their expanded offerings and prepared meals. Apparently they will have a fresh juice bar and will also have cold brew coffee soon so their offerings will be quite comprehensive. They have a great indoor/outdoor patio that is covered and should work as a four season dining area. Thankfully it is non-smoking and has a couple outdoor fans. The Common Market Oakwold is a cool spot for a quick bite or a hangout where you can order beer on tap or grab your favorite craft beer or wine from the shelves and pop the cap and serve yourself. Glad Common Market chose Oakhurst for their newest location!! We are already regulars and love having them as neighbors.

This is one of my favorite places in Charlotte. It’s my local deli, snack place and bar. Today they went above and beyond helping me setup snacks and beer for a meeting.The whole team is fantastic, loving and knowledgeable.Thanks for everything team!!

I go here quite often to eat at the deli and sometimes grab a beer. I went this evening to get my usual sandwich and there was a board over the deli counter in the back telling me to order at the front off the “late night menu”. I asked the guy behind the counter how long this late night menu was a thing and he said “over a year.” Which, is not true. I couldn’t even order a usual sandwich. The guy behind the counter was rude and brought what I ordered out on a plate when I told him I wanted it to go. He then huffed and puffed, and wrapped it up to go. I’ve never had such awful service here. I’m a local to the neighborhood and I’ll travel to other common markets around town to avoid the awful and rude service here. What a shame.

I come here about 5 days a week for either a coffee or some food. The quality of product is higher than the average for a Charlotte deli. I’d have it at around the Laurel Market level, save that it’s newer with a seemingly-revolving cast behind The deli counter.The bar side of things is a little too hip for me, but a lot of people lounge around with friends in the evenings.The overall environment is cluttered, a bit messy, yet surprisingly warm and inviting, but that’s a matter of preference. I find it very easy to relax here for reading/meeting with friends.Downside: the food comes out super slow. I mean.. inordinately slow. But it’s good when it arrives in the window so I deal with it!

Girlfriend asked for vegan chili, and was served chili with meat in it, she also got a vegan sandwich and asked for no cream cheese...guess what was on her sandwich. Why have the options for vegans if you aren’t going to pay attention and make it correctly. Decent food, but this not the first time you all have issue following seemingly simple request.

My office loves to order takeout from here. I had a delicious Cobb salad yesterday and the others enjoyed pumpkin bisque. Happy workers, happy office!

Very warm personable and comforting place to be. During the day Monday through Friday its very quiet, a nice place to go and take your book or laptop with you. They even have sandwiches​ and other foods on their menu. Nice place to socialize and have a beer or two as well. It definitely gets a thumbs-up from me.

As others have stated, service is often lacking. It seems the management hire based on a hip appearance rather than professionalism. This is the case with all their locations unfortunately. The sandwiches are great, but be sure you have an hour and a half lunch break, or you wont make it back to work on time. If you want a place to look cool, this is it. If you want great service, you will probably be better off at McDonalds around the corner.

Common market is such a cool spot near Cotswold - it’s a laid back place to hang out with friends and have drinks. Their deli choices are great as well as their wine selection. Highly recommended!!!

I love the food & bevvie choices but I again come out of there smelling like cooking oil! They need to clean out their ventilation system!

Pretty much like the other CM locations. Fun place, pretty hippy dippy. Service can be hit or miss, and the sandwiches are fine. In my book three stars is average and Id say thats exactly where CM fits... In the thick part of the bell curve.

Nice layout, ok location, really rough service and atmosphere. We came to relax and have a couple beers and we were treated to death metal for an hour. We promptly left for a more relaxed bar with more attentive bartenders.

Great spot. First time we have been to this location and felt it had the Common Market touch. Deli is spot on. Its winter so we didnt get to enjoy the patio, but we will definitely be back.

This place is smaller than the Common Market over in Plaza Midwood. This place is funny in that it has this recessed patio then you go in and it is your typical divey Common Market scene. This place does indicate that this whole area is in the process of flipping and becoming very hip. This place is just riding a small wave that appears to be getting bigger in this particular area.
