Terrible experience with scheduling and the receptionist had no care to resolve the situation. Arrived for 930 appointment only to find out you have to enter from a barely visible side entrance not the main entrance in target which was still locked. When main entrance was opened at 10 was told I could not be seen since I “missed my appointment time”. Apparently as previous reviews indicate this has happened to other people yet nothing seems to have changed. Suggested putting a sign on the main entrance door which would very easily solve this problem...

Showed up at 9:30 for my appointment and the place is closed, doors locked from the outside entrance, lights off, gates down from inside the store. Sign says they dont open until 10 a.m. Called every number possible and no answer. Called again at 9:45 and they answer and claimed someone was there. Umm no, they werent. Then they tell me they can try to see me later that day. HORRIBLE customer service. Will not go back.
Not very warm or friendly in terms of customer service. Werent greeted or acknowledged when we walked in. Victor and the lady with the purple hair just seemed like they didnt want to be there.The glasses also dont come with a warranty when other places offer a 1 year included. No spray cleaner, just the bare glasses with a cloth. They were very short when discussing the prices and we just didnt feel comfortable with the purchase. Will not be back in the future.
I went for my contact lens in Target Blakeley . Ballantyne. The optometrist was AMAISIN very professional and kind. She take time to explain to me everything. I went with out an appoitment Im waiting half hour and Done.I would like to continue to visit this place again and again. Outstanding service. Congratulationnnnnn
I had a Great Experience here at the Stonecrest Target Optical Store. I came in Last weekend because I needed new glasses since mine had broken. I already used my insurance for the year on my contracts so I was worried it would be expensive. Nice lady (Forgot her name Liz or Lisa) helped me pick out a pair of glasses that were like the ones that broke. She went over different financial options and was able to provide me a price I was happy about. Very great experience. When I went to pick up my glasses I was helped by the manager and he made sure my glasses fit perfect on my nose and face. I have no bridge on my nose so its hard for frames to fit easily. He made sure when I smiled my frames wouldnt interfere. He worked on them until they were just right! He was funny and had me laughing. I had a great experience and I will be back for my annual eye exam in 2020. Highly recommended. They have a customer for life!

Booked an appointment for the eye doctor weeks ago at 9:20AM. Went today for my appt and they changed my appt without calling me to 9:00AM. The doctor then says “it’s partially their fault.” Um no, it’s ALL your fault. Then they start the exam and decided to mention that the insurance I have (and entered all my info while making the appt) doesn’t cover the exam, but they can offer me a discount. Waste of time.

Dr Dobbs is great - thorough and accurate. Staff is professional and friendly. I was hesitant to use a big box store optical but was initially forced to by my insurance. Unlike many big box optical clinics who use rotating newbie doctors, this is a long time established practice. My insurance options have since improved but I am happily sticking with this office for my familys eye care.

They were so quick and efficient. Helped me pick the best frames and get the best deal.
Make sure you confirm the cost with them before treatment. My husband needed an eye exam but he also suspected he might have a case of pinkeye. When we called for an appt. we were told that if he had pinkeye he could not have an exam the same day as it would be considered a medical visit. With BlueCross they charge $50 for an exam as opposed to $90 for a medical visit. The doctor quickly figured out his problem was just allergy-related, but instead of proceeding with the exam she charged him $90 and sent him home. We wont be back.
Hands down the most friendly staff period. I felt like everyone in Charlotte should come here after my visit!
Walked around the optical shop for 15 minutes, prescription and card in-hand...wasnt greeted or even acknowledged. Walked out, went to Walmart
