Laura A. is exceptional; one of the most thorough, thoughtful and delightful people I have ever met in the eye care system. I feel well cared for, and that the health of my eyes is not a burden. Instead, I believe that Laura actually enjoys her job and genuinely loves people. Best experience!
Great doctors and wonderful customer service! I highly recommend
I recently went in for an eye exam noting that I have dry eyes (Ive had LASIK and long years of contact wear) and needed a refill on my medicated drops plus an updated refraction. *First of all - the front staff are uncoordinated. The check out guy was clueless. He tried to charge me again for the office visit fee I already paid when I checked in! Then he tried to not charge me for the refraction which was $50 in office but would default to $75 if billed. I made sure I paid that too IN OFFICE. Then guess what I got in the mail today? A bill!!! For the 2 amounts I already paid in person!!! HOW GREEDY CAN YOU GET, OR IS THAT JUST A REFLECTION OF YOUR MEDIOCRE BILLING PERSON? **Secondly, I told everyone from tech to doctor that I had dry eyes. They did not do any dry eye test, no paper strips, no swabs, no scans, nada. Then the doctor proceeds to tell me he will give me the Rx I requested which I had already been using for 2 yrs with no problems, and said that I might need to see a dry eye specialist. There is no such thing as a dry eye specialist! Its not like they went to extra years of school just to learn how to give you fancy eyelid massages even though your glands are dried up and will not grow back but here this $2000 eyelid massage might help... NOT. They are out to con your money. This doctor that is telling me this is an MD, he is certainly qualified to do that dry eye evaluation himself. Its not like I detached a retina or something. Ive worked for other eye surgeons for years so I know this!! It is a common problem after having eye surgery and he should know this. A specialist my butt. The only thing I have that is good to say is that the eye tech was great. She knew what she was doing. Its sad to say but doctors offices nowadays just want to herd you in and out like cattle for money. Its not about the patients anymore.
Can get in quickly, dont have to wait weeks for an appointment. Staff was courteous and professional. Horizon Eye Care does a lot more than glasses/contacts, they offer various corrective vision surgical options, plastic surgery, seem to have a lot of eye disease experience.
Over the past 18 months, Im always greeted with a smile and pleasantly taken care of. If youve got to get your eyes check out, this is the place.
Great and professional staff, however waited over an hour for the doctor to go over my info and exam!
They take great care of you
After getting two prescriptions last year that were not right from another eye doctor, I finally got the right one this year. I’m thankful to Horizon Eye for doing a great job. I can finally see correctly.
I HAD AND INTERVIEW WITH THIS OFFICE TODAY 9/24/20 AT 1230. RECEIVED A MESSAGE AT 1130 STATING I DONT QUALIFY FOR THE POSITION. I NOW UNDERSTAND WHY THEY ALWAYS HAVE OPEN POSITIONS ON INDEED. THANK GOD I ALREADY HAVE A JOB
