Impeccable service and friendly staff. Dr. Hahn was quick and serviced all my needs for my eye exam for glasses and contacts. The optician was very helpful when choosing my glasses. I favored the rose gold colored more and she even went to the back to select a couple more frames that were not up front. I will most certainly be a returning patient and appreciate everyone at Hahn Eye Center.

We absolutely love this office! Jennifer is so knowledgeable with insurance stuff AND picking out the best frames! I love the one stop shop that we get from this office! All the staff is super friendly and eager to help! My kids actually ask to go to the eye doctor!

The staff was extremely friendly. The young woman who helped me select glasses was patient and helped find several options that looked good on me and even gave me feedback on which she liked best. She didnt make me feel rushed at all. Their appointments were booked pretty far out, but thats to be expected with the pandemic. Everyone was helpful and answered all my questions.

I am a patient for two years and have received excellent care. My ladies who help pick out glasses have excellent customer service.(Way beyond the call of duty) I have a very hard time picking out glasses they are very patient and kind with me. They spent extra time helping me choose what I will like and dont rush me out. I know they needed to leave but spent extra to make sure I was satisfied. Thank you ladies for all you do for me. Also the doctor was excellent. I will be coming again and referring others to this office. My very best to the Hahn Eye Center for excellent services.

I love Hahn Eye Care, S Tryon location. Dr Hahn is really great with his clients and the staff is very friendly. I especially LOVE the wide variety of frame selections at the store. The ladies that assist with frame selection are very helpful and friendly. I received great care and attention during my entire visit!

First time here and I was super impressed. Very quick, friendly, and helpful. I went for a standard eye exam and to order new contacts, and was in and out in less than 30 minutes.

The name is actually Devin lol but I went there on 10/06 but I’ve been talking to the staff for a month now about some frames I wanted and they got them for me 🥰 extremely friendly staff I drove 3 hours there just for the frames and exam. I will do it again highly recommend them!!!!

I’ve been a patient at Hahn Eye Center fir over 20 years. The Dr’s at Hahn are excellent and their staff also. I will call Angela Maney with a new style I want and she always comes through. My husband, daughter and granddaughter all go there as well!!I highly recommend!

The service has deteriorated here over the past year:1. No appointments on Saturdays anymore2. They never answer their phone - and dont answer at all on lunch hour3. Tried to book on a Friday afternoon and was told it would be weeks before an appt4. I found out that my contact lens boxes (Biofinity Toric XR) were costing $104, but Hahn were charging me $150. That is taking nearly $100 cream off the top for just a 6 months supply! And they will even charge to post to you, or you need to make an appointment to pick them up!5. I had different appointments with two different opticians. They flip-flopped on my prescription and lens type. Didnt fill me with confidence and no attempt at building a patient relationship6. Rude service. They dont treat you as a valued customer! They are so condescending on the phone & at the front deskThis place is old, antiquated & out of touch. Other opticians now have updated & modern equipment, much better processes and service. This place has lost its way

Very, very disappointed in the service that I have received in the last 9 months from this location. I have gone here for years but in the last year the customer service have decreased. I took one of my children to get contacts and after a month of not hearing if the contacts were back, I decided to call to check on them. I was told that they forgot to order them and they would rush my order and let me know when the contacts were in. Another few weeks passed and no one called so I called again and the contacts were back. I questioned why no one called and they acted as though it wasnt a big deal. Ok fine. Well I scheduled another child to receive glasses to give them another chance because of my history with this location. Again after about a month I called to see if my childs glasses were in and I was told they were and that they just arrived...Lucky me for calling on the day they arrived. Well I ended up having to get the prescription adjusted because the glasses gave my child a headache. I returned them and I was told that I would be called or texted when the new glasses came in. Well guess what? I called after a few weeks to check on the status and I was told the glasses arrived the day that I called and someone was getting ready to call me. How ironic. I will never come back to this location. I am so disappointed and wish the staff would be more accountable for their customer service or train better. I work in the customer service field and could NEVER treat my clients this way and still have a job. Very Disappointed.

The doctor was very rude and had a sharp tongue! Unfortunately the front desk booked my appointment incorrectly and used the wrong insurance information. I tried to give them the correct card when I came in and they said they looked it up and already had it. Well they didn’t and because of that I couldn’t get the proper exam. The doctor blamed me for the mistake and refused to do the correct exam and wanted me to come back another day after already waiting a month for an appointment.. I was in customer service for 30 years and when a business makes a mistake it is up to them to correct it. I should have been given the correct exam and not told to come back another day. I ended up canceling the order I had just placed for glasses and I am glad that I did! I found the exact Coach frames with progressive lenses online at cool frames.com for $250 LESS than what they were trying to charge.

It took weeks before my glasses were ready and when I went to pick them up they were the wrong frames. I had to wait two more weeks for them to correct them. One of the staff members speaks very loud and is rude and unprofessional. I will not be returning if I can help it. I will be complaining to my company I work for and suggest they use another provider for their safety glasses.

These guys took excellent care of me. I highly recommend. Doctors visit was quick and efficient. Top notch customer service from Jonathan. He went above and beyond finding me great pair of frames and helping to get them fitted properly.

I previously wasn’t pleased with the new Covid-19 safety precautions, but I now understand that the Covid situation was so new, scary, and fluid back in early March that the office was just taking extra precautions. IThis is a great office to visit. Friendly staff and a GREAT selection of eye wear! The doctors are nice and thorough as well!

Welcoming upon arrival, but then quickly forgot about me. Eye doctor was ok and friendly. What got me was when it was time to pick up my glasses. I was told to put them on WITH my contacts in, and the guy looked at me and said they looked good. No adjustment no double checking, and this was done while he was standing from about 2 feet away.

Doctor was on time and very pleasant. After the eye appointment, they offered options to purchase new frames but were not pushy at all. Really seemed like they were interested in helping me me get the most out of my insurance. If they are in commission, I couldnt tell! Refreshing experience compared to what I am used to with an optometrist office.

Buyer Be Aware! Run from this place. Unprofessional, they will reflect blame, and theyre not very nice. The Dr. isnt very caring or people friendly. You can tell the Docs job is very repetitive by the emotionless instructions and the way the instructions are delivered. Worst patient doctor experience Ive ever had. I was told I have cataracts and they were referring me to a specialist. After 2 weeks of not hearing anything, I called back to Hahn and asked of the progress. They stated it takes a month. 2 Months later, and no word from anyone, I make my own appointment. This is a very concerning case, because Im only in my 40s and this is very rare to get cataracts at my age. They got their money from my insurance and then I was swept under a rug! No better way to put it. Go to this place if you dare, but I wouldnt even recommended this place to a Tarheels, Cowboys, or Alabama fan! You Deserve Better; its your humanly right to be treated better than theyre willing to treat you.

Place is undeserving of such poor reviews or the reviewers dont understand what going to an optometrist entails. My experience here was great, staff was nice and accommodating and doctor was easy to talk to and thorough. And on top of that they will happily provide you your prescription if you want to look around at prices for glasses or contacts elsewhere. What more could you ask for?

I have been coming to the Eye Care Center for years and I have to say I have never had any problems! The staff has always been very friendly and attentive. I have seen several doctors and each one has been pleasant and thorough. They have a huge selection of frames and I was able to pick up my glasses in just a few days.I also wear contacts and I get those back usually in 1-3 days which is great because I always wait until the last minute to order them. I always have a great experience when I go in and I will absolutely continue to bring my family here.

I would absolutely recommend Eye Care Center. The staff is very friendly and helpful, both when I came in for the exam and when I came back to pick up my glasses. The exam was quick and thorough, but did not feel rushed. They have a very good selection of different frames and I found a pair I absolutely loved. My glasses were ready within a week.

My husband brought his prescription from the Eye Ear Nose & Throat Dr to Hahn Eye Care. When the his glasses came in my husband said that they didnt seem right. They told him that he needed to wear them for a while and that he had 60 days to change them. So my husband has tried really hard to get his eyes to adjust. So today he went in to have them check to see if the lenses were in wrong. Well guess what they told him that he needs to go back to the person who did the prescription. My husband told them to do another exam they told him NO. So they took the insurance $$ and the $ 150.00 that we paid and will not help him. They have the worst customer service ever. All they want is your money they dont care if the glass work or not.THINK TWICE ABOUT going to Hahn Eye Care.

Went in for an eye exam today and it went well! Staff up front was pleasant for me. Doctor was knowledgeable and friendly. I was in and out in about 40 minutes as a brand new patient!

This had been my eye doctor since I moved to Charlotte in 2014. However, after visiting this office for a medical eye issue I was very disappointed in the service I received. I was prescribed eye drops that cost $112 and no effort was put into helping me find a cheaper alternative. Id rather take my business elsewhere since I am clearly not valued as a patient.

The glowing reviews here are probably fake. There were two negative reviews on here including one from me. They are both deleted now. One was about how they refused this guy his appointment for a checkup who just drove for over an hour and a half because he was four minutes late. The other one was mine.The stout woman with short hair who sits at the front desk has absolutely no class or manners. She was rude and so full of attitude when talking to me. I walked and all I said at the front desk was Im just here to pick up my glasses. I got a phone call saying they were ready to be picked up. She yelled at me saying I should sit and wait. Everyone else was waiting to select a frame or see the doctor. Since then the way they talked to me was just very rude and crass.I took my wife to Myeyedr across the street and we got excellent customer service.These guys have no sense of customer service. because they have a tie up with the insurance companies and all customers feel a need to go through the insurance companies.
