I absolutely recommend them. Not only was the service great, but I finally have the perfect pair of eyeglasses.

We were very disappointed with Dr. Bergin at Excel Eye Care. After two evaluations for our teenage child, 32 in clinic visits plus spending $300 on virtual reality device with a $125 a month subscription. We had to sign a contract for all and were obligated to pay for all even if we did not use. We are not in a position to pay $150 a visit ($4800) and $1500 extra for virtual reality. Our insurance will cover $65 a visit and that is it, we would be contractually obligated to pay for the rest. VR Vision therapy may be helpful, the science is out on that, but no insurance will cover it. This therapy is new and Ophthalmologists have been providing vision therapy for decades without it. I asked for an alternative and the assistant told me I could use the html computer program at home, which is $225 in total. I said I would do that. Dr. Bergin said no, I had to agree to the VR or she would do no vision therapy. How is this helping patients? According to her, my son has severe vision needs and won’t do anything unless I agree to Virtual Reality which has not been proven as effective yet and insurance won’t cover. I recommended Dr. Bergin to another parent after my son’s evaluation (before I got contract) and guess what, same recommendation for him. 32 sessions and Virtual Reality program. Don’t go here looking for help unless you can pay for it all.

I recommend going to Excel. The location is clean and bright. Sarah is welcoming, thorough, and efficient. Dr Bergin explains everything clearly and took a true approach to total eye health—not just examining my vision.Frame selection: what they lack in quantity, they make up for in quality. I’m picky and found plenty of nice styles and colors. Sarah is very helpful in narrowing down selections.

Small office, big heart. You are not a number or $when you enter this office. As I had hoped, Dr. Bergin did not rush. She took her time to do the exam right and address all of my questions. I will be a patient for life. She is one of the best eye doctors in this area.

My family had a great experience at Excel Eyecare. Heidi and Dr. B were great with wiggly twin 5 year old boys. Dr. B was quick and very informative.Our appointments were easy to make over the phone and they started and finished on time. The office was bright and clean. We would recommend Excel Eyecare to anyone.

I highly recommend this office. Ms. Robin at the front desk was great at getting me an appointment in a timely manner as a new patient. She was also really helpful in explaining what my vision insurance benefits were before I even came in, so that I knew what charges I would be responsible for. This was really helpful. The optometrist was also really great. Ive been to a lot of different optometrists and this was the best experience Ive ever had. She was very thorough with her eye exam and used up to date diagnostic tools to conduct the eye exam. She explained everything thoroughly and was really patient with answering questions. She also has some really unique prior optometry experience and can go in depth into certain diagnoses but still explain them in an easy to understand manner. This office has a great selection of glasses and frames that range from affordable to designer brands. Ms. Robin will also help you take full advantage of your vision benefits.

Dr. Bergin and Heidi made our work experience so wonderful! I’ve never enjoyed going to the eye doctor as much as I did yesterday! The office is clean and bright and beautiful they are so kind and accommodating! Practicing COVID-19 precautions and I felt very safe! Will be back next year!!

I highly recommend Excel Eyecare. Ms. Robin provides first-class customer service and advice on frames and lenses. Dr. Bergin provided an extensive eye exam and explained every step along the way. They booth took their time and there was no rush. The atmosphere was friendly and inviting. I will go back and have already made referrals.

Wonderful experience today for my daughter. Robin is a walking warm hug. She is knowledgeable and gives 110%. Dr. Bergin is professional, knowledgeable, and so patient. She took the time to explain everything to my daughter and myself. She took the time to check my daughter’s frame to make sure they would work well for her. It was a wonderful experience!

We are fairly new to the area, having just retired, and we hadnt yet gotten established with an eye care professional. I experienced floater activity last evening. I contacted this office at 9 a.m. today, speaking to Robin, the most warm and pleasant woman! By 11:30 I was the greeted by Robin and shortly thereafter examined by Dr. Bergin. She is skilled both professionally and interpersonally, taking time to assess and make her diagnosis/recommendations. Her new office is conveniently located. Coming from a long family line of optometrists (grandfather, father, husband) I think I can confidently say weve found our eye doctor!

I visited Excel eyecare for my eye exam and I was very impressed by the way doctor explained everything. Also they are using the advanced technology to exam the eyes. I would recommend this place and visit again.
