Love all their products but everyone says they dont shot there often because of their prices. If they dont lower their prices they might end up like Earth Fair. Not sure how they dont understand that they would get at least twice as many costumers if they lowered their prices, especially now that they are working with Amazon and amazon offers similar products for half the price. Just paid almost $4 for 6 fresh tiny Russian tea cookies. Its just too much, but no one else carries them around here. I love their products that no one else has. Just wish they wouldnt make us go broke for them. We shouldnt have to splurge for groceries and natural medicine/hygiene products.
My very first time ever visiting a Whole Foods Market, I was very impressed with the quality of products as well as the cleanliness of the store. The personnel was very helpful and friendly and helped me locate exactly what I needed. Everything was very fresh and the prices were very reasonable as well. I will definitely be returning ☺
There is no comparison between this Whole Foods Market located near South Park Mall (one of my favorites) and the one in Huntersville. Most of the employees go over & above to make sure you’re happy at this location. If you’re a Whole Foods devoted customer like we are and you visit Charlotte, you’ll have to stop by to experience the difference.
Love this Whole Foods because of the Queens Corner bar and tasting loft it has. You wouldnt think that a grocery store is a cool place to hangout, but this Whole Foods is a staple for many. The drinks are inexpensive as you can grab any bottle of wine or beer and open it up in store for no extra charge. Even better is that you can grab a cheese plate to go with your drinks or something from their hot bar. You can also get things made to order like a burger or sandwich. Besides the bar and tasting loft, there is also a nice outdoor patio on the second floor that offers a nice relaxed place to eat.As a grocery store it is very clean, organized, and has high quality products. For daily shopping I find it to be too expensive and would really only shop there to get specialty items like vegan or vegetarian supplements. The wine and beer selection is decent, but other stores have a bigger selection. The staff has always been friendly and helpful which I appreciate. The bar keep is always on point too which helps.
Well run. As an Amazon stock holder I make sure and thank them every visit.
I was in to pick up an Amazon prime grocery order. Thats downstairs apparently. Its very unclear where to pick up various shipments & there are like 4 possibilities. Amazon can do better.
Clean store. Prices are little steep and parking lacking. Employees pleasant enough.
Very nice store with lots of high-quality items and good service. Maybe not the best place to go if youre on a budget though. But if you want to treat yourself to something nice and dont mind spending a few dollars this is the spot.
This Whole Foods was really disappointing. The produce section was almost bare and what they did have was moldy and rotten. I ended up doing a smaller shop and had to stop elsewhere afterwards. I am lactose intolerant and the vegan dairy selection was slim and difficult to find. I also don’t think anyone buys it from there so the quality of the products was off. This Whole Foods was in a beautiful neighborhood but I will not be returning on my next trip to NC, simply just wasn’t worth it.
Worst Whole Foods ever. They only had like two nasty hot bar items. It’s beyond ghetto a huge contrast compared to the uptown Charlotte location
Exceptional customer service from Mary at the front desk Omgeeee! She is truly phenomenal! I love her positive attitude. Love Brooke in the floral department as well. She’s made some great arrangements for me and is very helpful. One thing, I don’t like when employees are standing right behind me when I’m ringing up my groceries in self check out. It seems like they’re watching me. If you want to watch people please get a camera without staring down the person as they’re making the purchase. It’s uncomfortable.
Great area. Store was clean and not overly crowded
They are expensive. I only come here to get things that are not available elsewhere. Decaffeinated tea that use the CO2 process; Bronners bar soap(fragrance free), Trader Joes carries the peppermint and sells it for about $1 less, but its too strong for my skin.
Every time I buy berries in a pack here they are moldy already. I even open the pack to see, but unless I root through the berries in the store I cant tell that theres a layer of mold right under the surface. For the prices, the produce should really be fresh.
I live about a block away in the same complex at ashley park lane. I find this store is very convenient for me when I need a couple of things and I dont mind the prices. The store is very clean and the shelves are very neat. I also find some of the brands interesting because I have never seen them before and I try them out sometimes. I am learning to venture out more and open up my world a little bit.I shop at Aldi for the big bulk paper products, meats, fish, fruits and vegetables. When I need to get something specific I can always find it at Harris Teeter or Compare.I am originally from NY and have been here over a year now. What I find interesting about Whole Foods is the interaction with the staff. Half the staff is nice and friendly and customer centric. If you are looking for a product they will let you know where it is located, if they changed it to another aisle, or if they are out and what stores near-by may carry it.I find this is a plus because it is a sign of a good company and a well trained staff. The other half looks annoyed to be there, and act like they are suffering through some kind of punishment. Sometimes I look at them in the eyes and they avoid any kind of interaction. A simple and friendly hello would be enough for me.This is what I call a friendly light place and maybe it is a Charlotte thing. They are polite but they really dont want any kind of interaction with other people. I get it because that is how NY people are. We are are always in a rush to catch a train, bus, or cab to and from work and the people that get in our way are just annoying.I know this is a rough job market, but why on earth would you take a job dealing directly with the public if you dont really enjoy being around people.
So I worked for whole.foods in NJ before moving here and I will say this for this to be NC there was no customer service everyone looked miserable no one said thank you have a great day or anything where is the southern hospitality??? As for the presentation of the store it was impeccable but we all have to agree customer service should be TOP PRIORITY!!!
Better and bigger than the one in New York!! More to choose from.
Wonderful customer service and very friendly staff!! The store has so much to offer and its very clean. I felt very safe in this market!!
Good lower level parking. Friendly staff.
Pricey but highest quality
I appreciate being able to drop off Amazon returns here with no additional charges. Its a bit of a hike, though.
Visited store during the senior hour last week and was disappointed with the quality of produce. Avocados mushy and overripe. No celery, ginger or tumeric. Many other items not available. Organic strawberries purchased had no taste. I could go on but I wont. Not the Whole Foods quality anymore.
Always quality and friendly, helpful staff on duty!
It was a nice experience. The workers were very friendly and helpful.
Well sorted store with lots of great and unique selections
Whole foods prices are just on a WHOLE other level. Crazy how much they charge when half of their inventory is the same as Publix or Harris Teeter. They do carry Brunost - brown cheese from Norway which is delicious. Highly recommend for your waffles. They have it a few dollars cheaper than Publix
I was in the store on Christmas Eve, and it was super busy so did not ask to speak with the manager. I went to the cheese section looking for an item and two young ladies were working behind the counter(s) and not one of them acknowledged me.I was searching or looking for at least five minutes and they continued chatting amongst themselves.. A young caucasian male walks up and one of the ladies immediately asked him if he needed assistance and even came from behind the counter to assist him.My facial expression was noticeable, then I was acknowledge. I did say to one of the young ladies, that neither of them asked me if I needed help. She was apologetic and the saleslady that was eager to help the male customer stated, Im sorry, I did not see you walk up.That is the wrong thing to say. That is what is said to all persons of color when they are not given fair customer service in the same situation. These young ladies seem nice enough, and maybe it was not intentional, but they need to be mindful. Sadly, that unfair treatment amongst people of color happens way too often, and it is time for it to stop.People of color deserve the same customer service/ acknowledgement as non persons of color. Were spending our money in the establishment too!
Very nice store and good customer service.
Always fresh food, healthy food a great place to shop. Best salmon around.
Great organic food selection.
My favorite location, we like getting items from the deli. Our favorite is the vegan chicken salad. This is where I also bring all of my Amazon returns
Like any grocery store, some items are a bit pricey, while others are not. Love love love their flower options and prices. Number one complaint about this location is their parking lot. It’s way too small.
To the man who told me, “it’s not about the Kombucha you put out to the world, it’s about the Kombucha you put IN. Go grab another!” after I spilt some all over self checkout, I think about that every time I go to Whole Foods now hahaha. Thank you.
The uptown one has better food though
Whole Foods was doing a good job of sanitizing baskets and carts. Employees were helpful as usual. However the customers were another matter. They all were wearing masks, but some not covering both nose and mouths. Aisles are directional with LARGE signs on the floor to direct you. NO ONE was following these signs. And the store was reasonably crowded so some aisles looked like pre COVID. Did not expect Whole Foods customers to be so ignorant. Ill continue my shopping online with delivery.
Everything prepared has canola oil! Not good.
Good portion and quality sandwich!
The vegan sandwich from deli was great.
Clean layout and nice selection of items. Parking can be a little hectic from time to time, but worth it. Staff is very knowledgeable and nice.
Today was my first time in this Whole Foods and honestly I was blown away. First of all parking is easily accessible at this location. The store has great curb appeal and its very inviting. They have a wide selection of groceries and every department had something unique to offer. I was thoroughly impressed with the amount of seating this grocery store had. Never thought about sitting down at a grocery store to have a latte or slice of pizza until I came here. I also noticed that Amazon dropped alot of the prices here.
Whole Foods pizza game, 0. Placed my order over the phone, waited 20 minutes like they said, get there and the guy tells me another 20 minutes, return and then he tells me they lost my order and it would be another 20 minutes. They can keep it.Portofinos down the street has better pizza anyway. Anything you want, no more than 15 minutes, ever.
Upon trying to pay for my items I inquired about cash back. I was told to go to a different lane to complete that particular transaction, and when I got to that lane I was sent to self check out, then another lane, then another lane...Finally, I was sent to the customer service counter where a gentleman proceeded to tell me to go back to another lane (5th direction) and I proceeded to inform him I keep being sent to different lanes. A female associate next to him then informs him that the lane he is referring to doesn’t give cash back, and he tells her it should. Yada, yada, yada. Once the gentlemen decides to complete my transaction he tells me they aren’t supposed to be doing cash back but he can do it for me “this once”. Oh.... why thank you. Maybe someone could have told me that within the first 5 directives! Sorry to inconvenience your day!
Wonderful layout. Store offers everything for someone looking for a real food experience.
Great fresh produce selection and variety. Professional helpful and available store clerks reflecting very good, competent management.
I hadnt been in the store for quite a long time. I missed seeing all of the healthy foods.
Not impressed & super pretentious.
Not as good as it used to be. Used to have good, sustainable products. The number of products with excessive packaging really left me scratching my head. Got take out food that was only slightly better than something I would get at QT or a drive through.
This is a review of a catered, Thanksgiving dinner; ordered online and picked up at the store: Not wanting to chance a restaurant interior in this pandemic environment, wed taken the recommendation of a respected friend and ordered the Thanksgiving meal package (small whole turkey, dressing, mashed potatoes, green beans, gravy, and cranberry sauce). We knew it was designed for four people; but, we figured the leftovers would be good through the weekend. We were extremely disappointed in most respects. The mashed potatoes and dressing were inedible. They never made it to the table. God only knows how long theyd been sitting in their refrigerated containers; but, it left them in a very sorry state. The green beans and gravy were extremely under-seasoned, and the small, precooked turkey was so cold that it took over 2 hours to heat to the recommended temperature.Throughout the experience, the phrase live and learn kept coming up for me. On this, the day after, its been replaced by never again.
Highly recommended. My favorite for grocery shopping.Lots of local options.Veggies are very fresh. So many options if you follow a particular diet.Do try the coffee from Allegro.
Salud cooking class at this store is awesome. Ive been to several classes and all of them have been great. The sushi class is a lot of fun, the bacon class is my all time favorite, the Valentines classes are really good, and my favorite dish is the beef bourguignon a la Hassan in the class based on the movie The Hundred-Foot Journey.
Absolutely LOVE this place. Way to save money is to purchase what is on sale on Amazon Prime. Holistic beauty products, to fresh fruit and produce. Butcher and fresh fish. Plus lots of choices in the main grocery items.
Quite affordable nowadays, nice selection. Cant beat their organic roasted chicken for only 9.99!!!
Just not for me. Tried the cut fruit wasnt ripe.
Excellent bakery. Good customer service and fair pricing
Ample car parking, clean, wheel chair friendly entrance. Lots of organic produce and grocery ingredients to choose from. I prefer my wild caught shrimps and pasture raised eggs from here. Natural multi vitamin supplements are good as well. Recent prime member discounts were good during this covid time. Pricey than other grocers but cant deny the quality of food. If you follow any diets like Keto or Paleo, this place will have what you need.
I love this store!
Jim was ahhhhhhhhmazing 2day during checkout. He needs 2 be in charge of training new employees!!! So upbeat & helpful. Nice 2 receive kindness during these troubling times!! Ty again Jim!!! Stay safe!
Great market. Lots of merchandise and the staff is helpful
I mean you do spend your whole paycheck, but you were just going to give your whole paycheck to Amazon anyway so does it really matter. They have good quality food, this is a good location. Friendly staff.
I believe the prices have gone up some. But still my #2 store. My opinion and I am strong in it.
Favorite grocery store by far. I’ve been shopping at this location for a few years now. The staff is always super friendly and they have the best foods.
Pizza Guy Great
It wasnt what I expected. The people there were very helpful I kinda thought they would be a little uppity but they were great
Wonderful store. Love the parking deck under it, raining like crazy or hot outside; no problem! Great customer service.
Convenient location, friendly cashiers. It wouldve been a 5 star rating except they were out of the prenatal vitamin gummies I like and out of the at least 4 employees who walked by me while shopping, only one said hello. Surprised I couldnt find brewers yeast here. Luckily the cashier was delightfully pleasant and even offered to hold the customers bag from in front of me while he used the restroom.
I like Whole Foods in its entirely and conceptually but over the last 2 months, Ive gotten several bad produce items. Rotten coconuts, organic apples with no flavor, organic grapes with no flavor or sweetness, rotting pieces inside of bags etc, etc. I would suggest a more rigorous quality control protocol. I will not be buying produce there any longer.
This is my favorite grocery store by far, from all the others available in the area. Whole Foods employees at any location always exceed my expectations with how knowledgeable they are. This store is smaller than other Whole Foods, so they dont have some of the beauty products I use. Not really a problem though cause I just order that online. As far as groceries and household stuff goes, they have it all.
I love this place, wow! I left displace place feeling very drained, and by drained I mean climaxed multiple times.
I recently married, and for our reception, we ordered the meal from Whole Foods. The food was AMAZING! But the biggest reason for posting this review is to give 5 stars to the staff as well. I primarily worked with Maddie, and she was so patient and helpful. We met in person initially, and I was able to taste test a few options. The staff there that day was such a pleasure to work with! I wish I had their names to give them kudos as well! But shortly after our initial meet and greet, all of my communication with Maddie was by email. She replied so quickly to every concern I had. She offered suggestions and made creating the perfect meal smooth and simple. I cant tell you how much a bride needs smooth and simple in preparing for her big day!So thank you to Whole Foods, the catering department, and Maddie. You made my Best Day Ever even better!!
It was a very nice experience.
Great location and fresh food
Knowledgeable staff
Love this spot!! Such a great selection of products!
CHERISE the coffee master is AMAZING! she remembers your name the first time meeting you AND your drink preference. She’s even so good that she notices when you enter the store and starts your drink before she even says goodmorning. talk about stellar service which is rare in 2020. Her level of excellence and attention to detail is a gift and blessing to all those she comes in contact with.
I love Whole Foods but this particular location was outstanding in customer service! There was a 2-3 person line and suddenly two other employees come and open two more registers to check out all the customers faster! It was wonderful! I was in and out promptly!
I love Whole Foods, but Im not happy with the fresh prepared food area tonight. I arrived at 9:19pm, where an associate told me yo fill out the burger request form. When I was finished the form at 9:20, a gentleman told me sorry were closed. Really! Website or sign on counter shouldnt state hours are till 10pm. Closing grill at 9:20 seems like there only concern is being able to leave, not to service customers. Disappointing!
This place is an oasis for a hungry soul
Bad customer service .
I never have a bad experience here! Today I encountered such a kindred spirit by the name of Frank. Such a lovely person and he really helped me a lot!
Great friend staff and fresh prepared sandwiches.
Love this market. Always fresh foods. I go for my nuts only place I can find the trail mix I love. I have started a new journey in my life and this Market has been a great place to help make sure I find the right products that are non gmo, organic, grass-feed, and etc. Love that if I do not feel like cooking I can also eat at the prepared buffet bar the have and still eating great food. Living a better life one day at a time! Check it out.
Its whole foods! Good stuff!
Nice store, fully stocked with quality food and products. Kinda pricey.
Were from Massachusetts and the Whole Foods here have nothing on the WF up north. Down here theyre untidy, and whats with the One Way signs in the aisles? The beef short ribs we bought were tough after 3 hr slow cook. The expensive NY strip steak had no flavor. I have yet to see a store with Prime designation here in NC. Wont be back.
Staff is polite and helpful.
Very help and friendly staff.
I love everything about this store, especially the small beer and wine bar in the back, near the cheese. Perfect to get a cold one and see a few familiar faces!
Are brunch here today and was blown away! I’m simple! Beef should that was just exquisite! There was depth of flavor! The pale pancakes and peach mango compote was such a tear! Neither was too sweet, which really highlighted the fruits! And the braised cabbage was lovely as well! And you guys started back carrying my favorite kombucha, the GT Hibiscus!Glad I came out today!
Whole Foods located in busy Southpark mall area. This location has a very futuristic feel to it and make you feel like you are in a big city. It also has a lot to offer in the hot bar and cold bar area and also has a bar in it for alcohol
Whole is always a great clean organized place to shop. I have food allergies...so I have to shop where the food is 😏
