Really good coffee (bit on acidic side, if one enjoys that more than the other), and dirty chai is tasty. Awesome outdoor area to sit with covered roof for rainy days. Awesome music, goo ambience. Really good service and chill vibes.

One of the best coffee shops in Charlotte. Italian sizes and coffee with extra mess. Once the inside is open is also a great spot to sit and relax. They also have a limited alcoholic menu that varies from Beer to cocktails.

We totally had to visit smelly cat based off local reviews and appreciated the friendly service! Really convenient location in a fun corner of Charlotte. Loved the cool eclectic decor and seating outside for some fresh air! Thankful for some actually really good decaf!

Had a great time at Smelly Cat this morning! Sunday morning, so it was really crowded and had a long wait but it was well worth it. The lemon herb cream cheese was to die for and my fiancé got the bacon cheese biscuit and it was very good. Worth the trip!!!

Love this place! Been here a few times and now its my go to coffee spot. Asked for recommendations and the staff was super friendly and knowledgeable, made me feel welcome. Theyre environmentally friendly and dont give straws (except metal/silicone ones you can purchase for $2) and the patio is dog friendly. I always ask for a pupiccino and put a cookie in it. Outdoor seating is enough to appease the crowds and the wait time is minimal, not to mention theres free wifi. I recommend looking at their specialty menu, the alcoholic drinks are awesome! Didnt even taste too strong like other drinks Ive tried. The parking is usually ok but keep in mind they close kinda early and will close off the parking lot by 5pm. Overall great spot for some affordable tasty coffee.

Love the play on the TV show Friends. They have many coffee options as well as choices with liquor in them, great cure for any hangover! There is a cute seating area outside as well and it was a great place to relax for a little bit. Staff was friendly.

Coffee was absolutely amazing, vibes were incredible, staff was super sweet and friendly. Now, if you need somewhere to absolutely CLEAN your stomach out, go to this place. I don’t know what MAGIC, is in their beverages but my gut is clean, clear and my body is EMPTIED…..of all toxins after I drank this beverage. 12/10 recommend, absolutely amazing for the gut health.

Ive been to many, many coffee shops and Smelly Cat is honestly one of my favorites. They consistently have the best coffee around. They make the best iced dirty chai Ive bought.Theyre breakfast burritos are also always a solid choice. A few of my other favorites from here include the vanilla latte and their iced Americano.The employees are always friendly. Theyve got a nice chill atmosphere, both indoor seating (when its allowed) and outdoor seating. I love that theyre locally owned and roast their beans. This was a regular place to visit when I lived in Charlotte and I still make sure to stop in anytime Im near Noda.

Such a chill & eclectic little place with friendly service, good food/coffee, and beautiful scenery all around. I dont get to come here often, but when I do it sure is a treat.

Friendly people, solid coffee and a relaxing atmosphere. My one complaint is that, in the last month, three or four of my orders have been messed up. Im not sure if its the masks or busy line, but the cashier keeps taking down the wrong size or leaving items off. I would suggest double checking everything before its finalized.

They do not accept cash or allow customers in to the store. I understand that they took restrictions for covid but now those restrictions need to be lifted and the business should return to normal. I will not be back until cash is accepted and customers are allowed inside. It is a shame, I was once quite fond of this establishment. Employees are very friendly.

While visiting from NY, I was very impressed by this place. A friends theme coffee shop with a modern interior to keep you interested. From “private sitting areas” that are divided by doors, to the unique paintings & decorations made it an amazing adventure to hang out with someone & talk whilst drinking some very good coffee.Would highly return 10/10P.S. Shoutout to whomever thought it was a good idea to write the name of the restaurant on the sidewalk cement.

This place is BUSY. They certainly shouldn’t have much trouble making money considering the number of people they have in this small establishment. Still plenty of seating considering the outside patio area, but since I sat outside I could easily watch the ongoing traffic throughout the area. I’m not sure how the previous reviews had much time to have a bad interaction with any of the employees because we ordered and moved out of the way before there was much time for interaction. I had a Mocha and my friend had vanilla latte, both tasted good.

Im a big fan of local places that arent chains. My wife and I have been going here for years and its a great place. Great coffee and when they open the inside back up they have Wi-Fi and board games. With covid 19, they have chairs outside and you can still access their Wi-Fi. Definitely check it out if you havent had a chance to yet.By the way, you can also by bags of their coffee beans. We get the Noda Nights for our espresso machine and they grind it their for us.

The fact that they even have a cortadito on the menu is worthy of a 5 star, but the coffee itself was really smooth and flavorful.

Love the front cafe window seating. Place is cozy inside, but there is also much outside seating. There is cool standing bar to have a quick shot of espresso. Ready made meals and yummy treats. I had a mocha Frappuccino with 2 shots and whip cream. Ive never had a drink like this stay frozen for so long. Took me almost an hour finish it and it stayed frozen the whole time! I would definitely return here.

We checked out this place on our way out if Charlotte. Its wonderfully cozy and the coffee is great. My vanilla latte was perfect and i was told that the hot chocolate was good too. Nice, quick service too.

Fire. Period. I had the best dirty chai I’ve ever had in my life (and I’ve had a lot of them) at this joint. Beautiful Sunday afternoon, outdoor seating, tunes were on point. If I could recreate the moment every single day I’d be the better for it. Never change Smelly Cat!

Coffee and Breakfast sandwich I got here were both really good!I personally enjoy a lighter roasted coffee than they offered so I would suggest they start to brew two pots, one light and one normal. You can sort of customize your breakfast sandwich, so thats cool If ur into that sorta thing. The decor of the place is nice, but I cannot comment about the vibes cuz we were all sitting out in the covid cold waiting for our food.Hope to be back here in a world less controlled by local jurisdiction.

I will start by saying I love this place. I live about 25 minutes away and every so often Ill take the trip to get their chai frappe, dirty. Today was a little different.I really dont have time to go through all the details but they got my order wrong, and then blamed me for it, and was unwilling to do anything about it. What it really boils down to is the reality that they didnt like the fact that I wasnt wearing a mask. It didnt matter that we were outdoors, and socially distanced, I was having a hard time understanding you because you werent wearing a mask is what I was told by the manager.....okay 🙃definitely my last visit.

Maybe it’s a Saturday morning thing, but every time I’m here they mess up orders and take extremely long to make simple drinks. I love their coffee & build your own breakfast sandwich but it took them 15 mins to get my coffee out and I’ve had to re-tell them my order before because they somehow lost it? Definitely disappointing.

Awesome little place! They have togo windows which made it very easy to order and get your things. Accommodating with todays times, of course the coffee is really good which is important but a combination of their really really nice service was awesome to me imo. Maybe it was just the two girls working today because I dont come here often but they were super friendly and nice and my latte was good af so 5 stars from me lol.

Great experience. They really have their covid procedures dialed in. one window for ordering and one window for pickup and plenty of outdoor space to hang out while waiting. Im a big fan of their noda nights espresso beans. I buy the big bag in whole bean format to put in my super automatic Jura espresso machine. The americanos and cappuccinos turn out fantastic. The espresso bean flavor profile pairs nicely with oat milk. But hey what coffee doesnt 😉

Are the prices higher than your average coffee shop? Yes! BUT, you certainly get what you pay for here. My iced dirty chai was perfectly sweet, and my breakfast bowl was filled with fluffy scrambled eggs, fresh arugula and tomatoes, and a (surprisingly!) generous serving of ripe avocado.While this would not be an every day coffee run for me due to the price point, this will certainly be my new go-to for when I feel like treating myself- and I would happily recommend it to anyone!

Cool little place that practices sustainable recycling. Dishes, cups, paper and aluminum foil are left in individual containers by the door. This is a huge plus for me. Very friendly staff that while super busy, still kept the atmosphere light and genuinely enjoyed interacting with their customers. Oh yeah, the black coffee that I ordered tasted wonderful.

Had the Cuban & the Vegan BarThe coffee was really bold I loved it! The vegan bar was delicious!!Only thing is that I was talking with the barista when I was making my order and I told her I love expresso but its over too quickly I was asking how much coffee oz. comes in the espresso and in the Cuban... but she never mentioned the Cortadito... Wish she would of suggested a Cortadito.. Could of saved $3 of I would of ordered it originally instead of the cuban. I bought one after I finished the Cuban & the vegan bar. Other than that love the vibe! Its nice and cozy in here!

Yes we all get it. This is one of if the the best small Coffee shop in the entire Charlotte area. Just dont get too much of a big ego about it okay? When you walk in here the interior design is immaculate. The lighting is perfect. The staff is quirky, confident and professional. They also have a great seating area in front and under a patio. Expect to see someone doing some really hip activity like writing a poem in a journal or making beaded jewelry when you go here. It is a definite place that has been a great contributor to the hipness of NODA.

This place has become one of my favorite coffee shops! My favorite drink is the Sweet New Orleans cold brew coffee. Friendly staff and cool atmosphere!
