Stopped in while traveling through Charlotte. Great atmosphere and vibes. You could come here to collaborate/work with others and sign up for a spot downstairs or find yourself going through the layered step platforms which were designed perfectly. Great coffee and superb friendly service. We even dabbled in some of the fresh brewed loose leaf lemon ginger tea. Group favorites include the breakfast sandwiches and muffins and ice’d mocha. Eclectic and worth the stop!

Our chai latte were absolutely amazing. This is a trendy and hip little coffee lounge.

Saw this place online while looking at local reviews and decided to try the cinnamon doughnut. It was tasty but expensive! $6.50 to be exact. This is big enough to split between two people for something light with coffee.I would recommend trying it despite the steep price.

I wandered in here waiting to check into my hotel and I marveled at the aesthetic inside, it’s built very nicely and clean. The drinks were solid, service was fast and efficient. They have like a staircase with seating alongside, as well as many tables for you to choose and enjoy. I would definitely come back again!

I ordered the Hazelnut Latte and it was delicious! You can actually taste the hazelnut. The barista’s were kind, helpful, and had excellent recommendations.

If you’re looking for somewhere to get a light breakfast in Charlotte, you’ve found your place. The cronuts are amazing and the coffee is just too easy to drink. Nice open, airy cafe with an unusual terrace option for seating gives it a memorable feel. If I were a local I’d be here regularly

You could come here to team up/work with others and pursue a spot first floor or wind up going through the layered advance stages which were planned flawlessly. Incredible espresso and sublime cordial assistance. We even fiddled with a portion of the new fermented free leaf lemon ginger tea. Gathering top picks incorporate the morning meal sandwiches and biscuits and iced mocha. Mixed and worth the stop!

This place is BEAUTIFUL. The energy of the cafe is amazing! Great modern seating/lighting/ambiance and in a nice part of uptown Charlotte. That being said the coffee is Starbucks level quality while being 2 dollars more expensive, a bit burnt and very bitter. Nothing a little half and half can’t fix but for an iced vanilla latte I expect it to be a bit better.

Its hard to decide which is more awesome: the atmosphere, the coffee, or the people. All three come together to create one deliciously chill place that I keep finding myself drawn in to. Ill never pass up the chance to visit Coco and the Director!

What an amazing place! If you love coffe you will fall in love! They have the best flavors and convinations plust delicious pastries to accompany your coffe! Trusted in Google to bring me somewhere good for breakfast, and did not disappoint! Perfect breakfast to start your day. Coffee is spot on. Breakfast sandwich was fantastic, and the donut is perfectly sweet without being overpowering (even though it looks like it could be).

I cant even describe this place is so fancy, comfortable, quiet place to relax with your favorite kind of coffee and sweet.

The pastries were delicious and amazing atmosphere. Very calm and soothing. The service was very nice. The pour over coffee takes a lot longer than Im used to, but tasted good. Cannot express how good the pastries were. Highly recommend the Mexican chocolate.

Disappointing. We went to try the Cronuts and they were sold out. The cashier talked to the couple before us about why there were none, yet when we asked about the cronuts she replied ‘No, is there anything else I can get for you?’ We thought it was weird that they were already out of a lot of items and they were supposed to be open until 6:00 and it was only 12:15. We ended up ordering two crossaints and she didn’t ask about warming them up. She was very short and rude with us. Made us sad since we were visiting from out of town.

First time to Charlotte + wanted a unique coffee experience. Definitely a great find at Cocos! Dirty Chai w/ Oat milk on point! Kind + prompt service. Lots of neat seating available from window, to cushions on stairs, or quiet tables. Art work upstairs by @2Hills entertaining. If I lived here would be my spot! Skip starbucks, come here!

Cute little place with a nice peaceful vibe inside not a crazy hectic coffee place which I liked. Staff was nice and the table and floors where clean. Nice selection of delicious food. The cronut was amazing its croissant mixed with dounut. Highly recommend!

I wandered in here yesterday after a recommendation from our hotel staff and was immediately charmed by the place. The decor is warm and inviting, while still being trendy and fun. Every place invites a different vibe. Theres spots where you can be productive while enjoying their coffee, or snuggle up with your honey and share a croissant. The bench along the windows facing the street is heated, and for someone as cold-natured as me, that immediately became my favorite spot. I loved it so much, I brought my partner back today. He got the house coffee and is still singing its praises. The bacon egg and cheese croissant was devoured in short order. I got an iced mocha thats delicious, and a smoothie (the Pitaya Pick-me-up, I think it was called?) It was fantastic and the next time were in Charlotte I really want to come back and try out more of the menu- including the daily sandwich, which sadly wasnt starting until noon so we missed out. :(

Great cup of cold brew and very neat atmosphere. Plenty of seating, even if some of that is unconventional seating. Only drawback was there was a single employee working. They were super sweet and hard working, but drinks took longer as she took orders and made drinks by herself. Probably not common, but a simple cold brew did take some time. (note: this was a Sunday afternoon)

I I definitely recommend it to those who love coziness and comfort. My favorite place is on the steps. Delicious coffee, always clean and comfortable, friendly staff. One minus - they close early.

Love this place. If I lived in Charlotte I would hang out here all the time. They are connected to the Marriot hotel and it was very convenient. The atmosphere was very inviting and comfortable. They even have meeting space In the back. The service was very friendly and helpful with menus selections. The coffee was really good. I tried two of their cronuts and they were amazing. I tried the cinnamon and the chocolate and wanted to buy a box and take them home with me they were so good. I would definitely come here again.

I love this place for the ambience. Coco and the Director has an atmosphere that encourages people to come in and sit for a while. The staff is always friendly and right outside of coco is another sitting area in the Marriott hotel. Its simply an awesome place. You can have coffee or a variety of beers here. The one negative is everything is awfully expensive. There are bottles of water that are as high as $8 bucks. This still remains one of the best kept secrets in Charlotte.

Amazing place and great coffee shop . I had bad experience with one of the African American lady with the short dreads, she was standing in front of the coffee machine.. I came in and I was just looking for menu because, it was my first time being there. The African American lady gave me pitiful ugly face expression like I didn’t belong there and asked 4 different times loud “ HOW MAY I HELP YOU” . I rushed and order, she did apologize after . However, the customer service can be better!

Coco and the director is a great cafe located in the heart of Charlotte downtown. Their ambience and seating are brilliant. Their house brew was fine, but the banana bread was delicious. Coco and the director is a great cafe to unwind with a good book or an episode or two of a TV show.

I was one of 6 people in the store around 3pm. One barista. Verrah slow. The cinnamon cronut was tough to tear off a bite. The cold pour coffee was underwhelming. Such a fab looking place, its a shame that the fare disappointed.

I visited Coco and the Director after seeing @sweethomeclts tiktok. It definitely lived up to the review. They have a wide range of coffees and teas that can be made hot or cold. The seating area was closed due to COVID-19 but the atmosphere was very welcoming and cool. The barista made my order perfectly. Usually I have to alter my coffees but it was delicious! Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Queen City.

Wasnt the best cup of coffee Ive had, but that couldve been my error in what I ordered. Lots of options for milk/cream in your coffee. Nice menu. Make sure you ask them to warm your muffin before they hand it to you. You can NOT hand it back to them to heat up lol. Odd, but whatever. The cranberry orange muffin tasted pretty good, even though we couldnt have it warmed up. Nice environment. Cool layout. Staff was normal, nothing to write home about. Probably wouldnt give it a second try.

So. Freaking. Good. We were staying across the street at the Grand Bohemian and wanted to grab a quick breakfast snack and coffee. We got two mochas, an apple cinnamon muffin and a butter croissant. My new favorite coffee shop in Charlotte! I got a Iced caramel latte and now I crave it everyday! Definitely one of the best lattes Ive ever had. The atmosphere is awesome as well. And, theres board games for anyone to play!

In between the chaos is this great coffee shop.Its in Marriot it has two entrances one from the street and other from Marriot lobby.They have two different seating areas one is on the left which is more if you want to sit alone and study or work. Other is the lab where you can book the table for meetings many meetings and interviews were going on there.Coming to the coffee they have amazing local roasts which you can try. Baristas are great they are very friendly.They have a variety of cronuts, croissants, loaves of bread. They even have sandwiches, soups, and salads.

Great cooll coffee shop and co-working space. They do a fantastic job of making this place feel hip and rustic despite the fact that its in an office building. Coffee is great. Food is awesome. Line moves quickly.

Cool coffee shop with very unique tiered seating. Sometimes they have live sports playing on the projector. This place is more about the decor than the service or their food and beverage offerings. Each time the service is just a little too slow for a coffee shop or the pastry is lackluster. The coloring and wine night is a cool idea and there is nothing better than hanging out in a coffee shop drinking wine. Problem is pour size varies greatly by the staff member and even then sometimes the same person has wildly different size pours. Go for the atmosphere, but dont expect to be blown away by anything else. Really its just a good place to hang out.

Beautiful and cozy cafe, but the worst coffee Ive ever had. Too much water, wrong proportions. Very weak coffee- light brown color, tastes like nothing. I tried it twice- same result. Please, please, please, improve quality of the served drinks. Its really bad.
