NEVER DO BUSINESS HERE. Was at this dealership for 6 HOURS. Refused to fill our car up and left us with less than a quarter tank. Would not detail the car and did a terrible job washing it. They do not negotiate prices. Had to find a different bank to finance our car because of their lack of being thorough. They kept trying to force the warranty and gap insurance on us after we said no multiple times. The lady tried to tell us what we would be paying without even running our credit. They are a bunch of con artists. I have no positive things to say about this place. We were taken advantage of because we are young and loved the car. I love the car, but I cannot wait until we build some credit so we don’t have to go to scammy places like this. Save yourselves money and a headache.

Wanted to share a great buying experience from Sonic Automotive/ David Waterman / North Central Ford in Texas. I purchased a used Ford Explorer a few months back in March. Truck was delivered as is and I love it. It is a 2016 model with higher mileage, 76,000+. After 2 weeks the touchscreen stopped responding. After some troubleshooting it turns out it needed to be replaced. $1000 to repair...no warranty....I reached out to David Waterman at Sonic and he went the extra mile for me. He worked with the dealer and helped to negotiate a 50% credit to the repair. It was unexpected and above and beyond my expectations. I’ve purchased a few vehicles from Sonic in the past and I’ll do so in the future. If you’re in the market for a new or used vehicle and want an honest and transparent experience....then look no further than Sonic and David Waterman!

Incredibly easy process once again. Ive bought more than fifteen vehicles from Sonic dealerships and referred countless more friends. I went for my last purchase to the new Echo Park store and once again, the experience was phenomenal. The salesperson was very knowledgeable and the Manager came over to introduce himself as well. The entire transaction was easy to do. Thanks so much for another awesome experience!

Im so disappointed with such upscale dealership. You would think that by it being a Mercedes dealership it would provide awesome customer service. (Not) I been giving nothing but excuses and the run around. First off I stay in MS; in which, they stated the could delivery. That never happened. I have to drive and get the vehicle. Next was they were supposed to refunded me the delivery charges. I just received the check on 10/31/20. Vehicle was purchased on 9/29/20. I yet still havent received any paperwork or nothing. I cant even drive the vehicle because I dont have the plates because the dealership still havent sent the paperwork to MS. The buyers copy paper is not valid in MS. Meaning I have a vehicle in which I cant drive without being ticket. Im was treated like I was just a piece of paper and not a customer. I will never in this life go back through this with no dealership. I dont care how much I want a vehicle. The way this place operates is an embarrassment to Mercedes. Thanks for making my online experience in purchasing a vehicle a disaster. I wouldnt reccomend this place to no one.. I have reach out to so many people to point where I dont even want the vehicle anymore. Its just hurtful as customer that things can be done to buyer and nothing can be done about it. Im just stuck with a vehicle that I cant drive. This is so hurtful (Mercedes Benz of McKinney)So as 11/16/20 no one has provided me with no information about getting plates. Not too mention again truck cant be driven. I will just have to get someone to look at this case and go further with legal. I have been patience but this is not right...

You better go in and know something about buying cars before you buy from this dealership. Theywill try and rip you off any way they can. Best believe gap insurance and extended warranty will be added without consent. I have never dealt with a more unfriendly and corrupt business. Go somewhere else!!

We bought a Toyota from BMW of Nashville which is owned by Sonic Automotive. We have been very patient in waiting for them to respond but it’s been almost 10 weeks since the form has been signed and 2 weeks since we started a ticket with you. BMW of Nashville says we must contact corporate and no one ever responds to emails sent to customer service or the warranty dept.

SONIC JUST REPLYS TO THE REVIEW THEY DONT NOT CARE ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERS THEY WILL STILL TREAT YOU BADLY. Worst customer service ever. I was told not to do business with a sonic automotive dealer and I now know why they are only worried about there money and thats it. Stay Away from all Sonic Automotive Dealers. You would have a better chance of getting apple juice out of a tomato. Stay Away from Sonic Dealers.

I could never recommend a Sonic Automotive dealership after the experience I had. I purchased a 2018 certified executive vehicle with 10,000 miles and after 2 weeks after having the vehicle I found it had A LOT of milky water in the flooring system mixing with the wiring and flowing throughout the vehicle. The dealership suspected it was a manufacturer defect and at first the Used Car Manager said it would take weeks to get the new front carpet in and he would work with me to get into another vehicle. He didnt bring a single vehicle to the table for me to trade into and shot down every one I brought to him. The service advisor, Luke, told me (the first day they had my vehicle) that they pulled the carpet out and were drying it overnight with fans. I visited the dealership the next day and asked to see the vehicle and found that to be entirely a lie. After a week and a half with no solution and my vehicle sitting in the parking lot with soaking wet carpet and no ventilation despite multiple pleas to pull the carpet out and dry the vehicle to prevent further mold growth, the Used Car Manager started ghosting me. UNBELIEVABLY UNPROFESSIONAL. I reached out to Sonic Automotive and they said BMW of Montgomery was working on finding me a vehicle which was a lie. I also contacted BMW North America and they said the dealerships are independently owned and that BMW of Montgomery was declining to help me get into another vehicle as they would not accept the soaking wet, moldy vehicle they sold me, as a trade in. The tech told me the water had been accumulating since the vehicle was manufactured and likely had mold growth long before they left it closed up in the parking lot for more than 3 weeks. All in all, the front 4 feet of carpet that had mold and mildew all over it was replaced but the back carpet that was also wet and sitting in the same moldy/mildew water for 18 months was not replaced. I was denied the opportunity to view the back carpet to determine whether that carpet had mold in it. They assured me they wiped the top of the floor down. The flooring system with nooks and crannies, wires and soundproofing? Doubtful. After I got the vehicle back, I immediately noticed a musty smell coming from the ac, it took another week to get the vehicle in and the service advisor, John, told me that a musty/moldy smell in the ac was normal for a BMW in this region. I insisted they check it out as I knew for a fact the vehicle has had mold in it and the tech said he didnt notice the smell but changed the air filter. That didnt even dampen the smell. The vehicle would have qualified for a Lemon Law claim if it was in the shop one more time so after that, I was refused appointments on multiple occassions despite the acting Service Manager acknowledging the smell and insisting he would look into a solution. I was uncomfortable using the ac due to the smell and knowledge the vehicle had prior (and possibly present) mold in it so I went a total of 20 days in 95°+ heat, without being able to use the ac in my vehicle. I got an attorney involved after I viewed the mold on the carpet and flooring system and the GM at BMW of Montgomery ignored his communication and has never participated in any sort of discussions for a resolution. My attorney also contacted Sonic Automotive who also completely ignored his communication. BMW North America acknowledged my attorney but said they were working with BMW of Montgomery on a solution. After 3 weeks of absolutely nothing but stalling from BMW of Montgomery and BMW NA, I traded the vehicle in and lost thousands on it. Vicky Comer was still reporting that BMW was looking for me a vehicle weeks after the dealership told me they wouldnt accept my vehicle back. Sonic Automotive was never going to do right by us and literally took no action to help, their stance is deny, deny, deny. They have you sign an arbitration agreement during the purchase so your options for a resolution are EXTREMELY drawn out and expensive. I would never under any circumstances recommend a Sonic Automotive dealership to anyone.

What does it say about Sonic Automotive that took a Toyota dealer in Fort Worth Texas that was #1 in sales before Sonic took control and made that dealer so bad that Toyota demanded Sonic sell it. Good job Jeff Dyke!

Horrible customer service. Spent almost $1,300 on repair that did not fix problem. Bought car from them and asked them to deduct the $1,300 off new car price - traded in the vehicle they did the work on. They refused! When I wrote them a letter and disputed the charge they now claim that their service department says they dont guarantee to fix a problem. Wish I had never bought a car from them or tried to have mine repaired there. Received letter from PR person not giving one iota of credibility to my complaint. They cant wait to charge your credit card, sell you a car and then treat you like crap when the deal is done.

We DO NOT recommend buying a used car from Sonic Automotive. Prior to our purchase at Fort Mill Ford, spray was noticed under the hood. When my son questioned the spray, the sales associate informed him that the car had not yet been detailed, indicated that it was from the previous owner overfilling with coolant, and assured him that it would be handled by his service team. We called immediately following purchase concerned that the touch screen and the heat /air system were not functioning correctly only to be told by the sales associate that they only conduct a safety inspection prior to selling a used car. The malfunction of the heat turned out to be a safety issue. The car left our son stranded on the side of the road within 2 weeks of purchase due to preexisting engine problems resulting in coolant leakage. We were assured by management that Fort Mill Ford would provide resolution; however, a MONTH without a car later, the Fort Mill Ford GM has offered $600.00 toward major engine repair bills we are facing. We are forced to seek legal help due to Sonic Automotive/ Fort Mill Ford misrepresenting a used car. We want to warn as many people as we can so this doesnt happen to others.
