Buddy is the manager and can be polite but starts to walk away and dismiss customers complaints as company policies. For example, if you ask for a quarter pound of fish you should get what you order. The woman gave me .81 pounds of fish. I asked her for quarter pound of salmon. She mumbled something about she couldnt not cut it. So why Wrap it up?I had never had this issue at Food Lion and Harris Teeter. This place up sales their meats and fish based on the managers discretion. 😡I read the complaints on here and them seem to surround the meat, deli and now fish department.I will never come back. NEVER!!Oh the store is clean. And the two employees I spoke to believe that I was in the right. Buddy didnt. Good luck in shopping at Buddys Store.

TINA THANK YOU!!! Tina is one of the cake decorators and saved me today!! I needed a cake for a special occasion and realized I placed my order incorrectly at my home store- completely my fault! After visiting 7 different stores in a panic searching for something that would work, she very generously volunteered to make it for me and it looked fantastic. SHE SAVED MY DAY!! TINA IS THE BEST! She went out of her way and stopped what she was doing to help me. I spoke to the store manager about what a great employee he has in her, I hope he realizes it. Thank you again!

This store was pretty great. The deli had a line of folks waiting and the pastries in bakery section were wonderful. The variety of groceries and cleanliness of store will definitely make me come back.

The gentleman that works in the deli named Byron is awesome! He’s made a couple subs for me and he’s so nice and makes the best subs. You have to try the turkey cranberry sub for the holidays. (:

Nice and clean. Doesnt have a Starbucks but thats not a big deal. They have a great produce section and their fresh fruit is wonderful

We went shopping for food .we found most of what we was looking and some that were not on the on the list that was on sale. That was a good day.It was a blessed day for all of us Ill go there again to shop they have great products and good customer service try out them you will like it no problem with getting to and from were you need to get .

Publix bakery is amazing and generally get everything that I need there. I do wish there was a bit more produce selection, but other than that it’s a grocery store. Generally has what you need and most of the employees are pleasant

The store was very clean. Didnt like that the sign on the door coming in said mask strongly suggested instead of mask required but what can you do. Lots to choose from inside. They also has some very adorable cats available for adoption. Found what I was looking for very easily but the store is bright and inviting which makes you want to go exploring. A great place to take your dog if they ate bored. My roommates dog smelled EVERYTHING and I dont think she wanted to leave.

Enjoyed my visit. Very clean store, each department food looked very fresh. Store clerks are friendly. Integrity of employees were excellent. There is a lot of choices for different types of food, salads, meat, seafood etc. to choose from. Everything is fresh. I love the atmosphere in Publix.

First time at their sandwich bar and I was so impressed. Not only did they have a great selection to choose from but the one who made my sandwich, Rodney, was super knowledgeable about the selections. Highly recommend for any time of the day

First time there. I love this store! Loved the deli with so many take out items, large selection of cheeses, and their bakery was awesome. I bought and Apple pie and my husband said it was the best store bought pie he ever had. Prices were reasonable and staff friendly.

I don’t typically leave grocery store reviews but this is the 4th time I’ve had rotten meat from this store. I opened the packaging and the worst smell wafted towards me. The front looked fine but the bottom was rotting. The picture doesn’t even show how green the film is on the meat. 🤢 I don’t understand how this happens…. I moved to this area about a year ago it since I’ve moved here I’ve had more rotten meat between there and Publix in the last year than my whole 30 years combined.. I guess I just can’t shop for meat in the area… I suggest no one else does either unless you want to get ill. I called and asked for my money back and the woman I spoke with seemed more annoyed than anything. And not at all concerned that they are serving rotting meat to people.

First night we got here.. we went to Publix deli and ordered a sub (The chicken tenders with pepper Jack, n yellow American cheese, tomatoes, olives, mayo, a little bit of oil, n salt n pepper 😋YUM,YUM.. the guys back there were amazing 👏 Soo friendly, and made the best subs. The lady who works the deli. Ms. Tamiko I believe is her name. She is always so sweet and pleasant when we come to get sandwiches or food on break. She always suggests an upsale or something I havent tried. I am always happy to see her face when we come in. I love shopping at Publix. The folks who work there are absolutely exceptional. The store is so clean and welcoming. My only critique is to please, please stop cutting the tops off of the pineapples! Theyre still hard to cut even without the tops. I dont think its really helping anyone get to the fruit faster. In my opinion, a pineapple without its spiny green hat is just a sad apple ☹

Employees are extremely friendly and accommodating. When I realized that I had purchased the wrong item, the employee quickly offered to get what I wanted, quickly fetched it, and brought it to the register. Great customer service!

Bought crab and king crab here today, the price wasnt bad, but the seafood absolutely was. Green inside the meat, in the claws. Old, and sticking to the shell. Tried in vain to eat a few pieces, then decided it wasnt worth the food poisoning. Ive eaten a lot of crab in my life, this was some of the worst. If I wasnt flying out on the morning, is have gone back to complain.

Do not go here it you are concerned with covid. They are not following covid protection procedures. Management wearing mask below nose. And a security gaurd standing at the door, so you must walk by him, was wearing his hanging from one ear. Its aug 16th 2021 and it was about 5pm. Publix, you are part of the problem.

Great selection. *Only thing that would need improvement is when opening up a new line do not take the last person in a long line, rather take the next person in line. Also do not pack bread or bananas in the same bag with ice cream. Other than being in line, the grocery store is great.

Love this store, clean, helpful friendly staff, adequate check out lines open. The sushi here is pretty good (for grocery store). And the sushi chef is quick to help you out and will quickly whip up a custom sushi tray for you. The fresh salmon filets are delicious, nice and oily/fatty with a not to overpowering fish smell. they have a great selection of sugar free coffee creamers. I usually go I. The early AM, to grab some coffee creamer and sushi for lunch that day.

The family stop for some quick snakes and it turn out that we ended up having lunch lol....

Publix is consistent. The stores have the same atmosphere/setup no matter which one Ive been to. Stock for items I regularly purchase is always available. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Self checkout is always a breeze and help when there is a problem is always prompt. Staff is paying attention to customer needs. Publix in Charlotte is as good as the locations I frequent in Winston-Salem.

I wanted to buy some oxtail and there was only 2 packages on the shelf I went to the butcher and asked if there was more in the back and he brought out a whole cart with all he had and told me to get what I needed!

Deli department is too slow the service, I have to wait 30 minutes just for 1 pound of ham

I stop here when Walmart is out of a item on my shopping list or something they do not carry. Mostly produce when Walmart is not stocked.

The people here have trouble customer services skills. The people are rude and talk over the customers. They do not have above and beyond customer services here. I will not return to this and will not recommend family and friends to go there either.

My sub was amazing and shout out to the deli lady who made some bomb suggestions to add more spice to my already spicy type sandwich... Mmmm.... And for under $10?! Oh yes....

I always enjoy visiting this Publix when I come to Charlotte. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. One staff member took 5-7 minutes on 7/25 assisting to help me find Old Bay for the fresh crab legs I had purchased, when she didnt find it in stock, she offered to have them steamed or seasoned before check out in the seafood section. An awesome kind person who went the extra mile to ensure I could find what I was shopping for and offered an alternative when it wasnt available.

We ordered a marble cake with butter cream for my child’s 4th birthday and the cake had like 65% cream and only 35% cake.We just felt like we are eating cream. By far the worst cake I have had in decades.Hope this comment helps Publix to improve themselves.
