Cant say enough good things about this location. My partner and I go there weekly and the staff are so friendly. Stock always seems well managed and if theres something we want thats not there they have offered to get it in for us.Especially since COVID I can tell they have taken a lot of care to make sure the space is clean and safe for customers.Wont shop anywhere else 10/10

I love Publix, and fell in love with the deli chicken. Better than some restaurants I have been to. However, lately I have ordered instacart because I was working and wanted some wings. My shopper sent me a message and a picture of 2 rotisserie chickens and nothing else in the hot bar. This was at about 2 pm in the afternoon. A few days ago I stopped at the store to get chicken again and there was only 2 boxes of wings in the hot bar. Other times previous, I havent been able to get food for my family a few other times when stopping in and I didnt have time to cook. I know covid may have something to do with it, but I come from retail/ food services and know that key times to have hot bar full is lunch and dinner. It seems like no matter what time I go is slim pickings to get hot food. Still love the chicken but disappointed that I cant always count on walking in the store and getting what I need.

I shopped at Publix early this morning and I wanted to applaud the lady at the deli/sandwich counter. She made a sub just as I asked and was patient and attentive to all my requests and also pleasant about doing it. She was training another young woman - I hope this young woman really listens to her as she was teaching her well and if she follows her example and teaching she will be great. I only wish I had looked for her name. (Middle aged pleasant black woman that enjoys working). Thank you for a great sandwich and excellent customer🙂.

Best best produce in the area! A bit pricey throughout the store but have great deals on certain items every week. But they have to pay for that perfect customer they provide. Staff is Always great! The black older gentleman in seafood always does a great job steaming my crab legs. Theres a older white guy in the meat section who is always so helpful. I really need to learn names.. they are the best, period! Pharmacy is on quick...wings on point, yummy cakes.. do I need to keep going. Obsessed.

Terrible customer service. I just left the bakery. My plans were to order a cake for my child’s birthday. I stood there for about 10 minutes and no one was in sight. I could hear someone in the back cleaning. Another family walked up the same time that the employee walked up. The employee helped them first. I would have been willing to forgive that because maybe she didn’t realize her mistake. However, she walked away and didn’t even try to assist me until I started to raise my voice. She put up her finger to gesture “wait.” When she came back I told her I had been standing there before the family that she helped and she made it worse by walking away. I thought she would at least apologize but she didn’t. She proceeded to tell me something about her uniform. I’m not sure what she said because she wasn’t speaking clearly. Then she just tried to take my order as if nothing happened. I walked away. Before I could get out of earshot I heard her tell the employee in the back that I said she walked away from me. I went back to tell them it’s not just what I said. It is facts, not just an overreaction. The bottom line, she helped a Caucasian family who wanted free cookies before walking away from the African American family who wanted to make a purchase. In the end, we both lose.

The sandwiches are so yummy! Staff is always so kind and helpful. This location has plenty of parking, the store is very clean, they usually are always well stocked. Sometimes the lines can be a little longer but its never unreasonable. The only thing i dont like are the scanners on the self serve kiosk. They are troublesome when you want to use your own bags. Otherwise, still a nice store.

You can’t put a price on top notch customer service! After a long day at work, I stopped to grab some salmon for my wife and I … long story short I left one of my bags in self checkout. I didn’t realize until I got home. When I called back to the store, Taylor at the front desk was so kind. She let me know not only did they find the left salmon, they brought it to the back refrigerated room to hold, with the assumption I’d return! I did not catch the gentleman’s name in seafood but he was a great help and extremely kind!! Publix for the win… AGAIN! Thanks!

I am lucky to have several grocery stores in close proximity to where I live, but this Publix is my first choice to shop for my groceries. The store is well stocked, customer service is efficient and friendly, items are easy to find in the aisles, and the store is super clean too! Weekly sales are great, love their buy 1 get 1 free sale! Will definitely continue to shop there.

This place is always a pleasant shopping experience and is preferred over other markets near by. I have only had a long wait to check out one time only, but usually its a quick process. All of the employees are very well trained and goes the extra mile to help. My only frown is that some items carry a high price, however the level of service you receive makes up for it.

The staff is very friendly and always very nice. I ordered some bread in the early afternoon a day in advance, and when I went to pick it up it wasnt there. It wasnt made or was even being made. I was told when I ordered that if they had an issue with my order, since I wanted to pick it up early, that they would call me. I told them when I ordered that if they needed to make it the day I ordered, and therefore it wasnt as, fresh, that I totally understood and was fine with that. Even with that note, I never received a call saying there was a problem with the order. The manager gave me 2 loaves for free to compensate which was very kind, but its still frustrating to have ordered, been told my order would be ready, and then not have it there. I will shop at this location again, but not order through the bakery. This was my first time placing an order with Publix, so Im not sure if this is standard, or if other locations have the same problem.

Honestly, I really love Publix..usually never have a problem. I think before their service was great and food was pretty good.Today I had the WORST experience. We threw our friend a baby sprinkle and ordered 5 dips and croissants with chicken salad. I placed the order a week ago to pick up today at 9am. According to their website they need 24 hour notice. Today I get a call at 7:02am saying that they misplaced the order and if I could pick it up at 11am. Obviously not going to work because that’s when the sprinkle started. No one cared that they messed up, spoke with several managers who even admitted that their deli manager had awful customer service.I’m only writing this to warn y’all and have a back up plan in case you plan to use them for your future events/ get togethers. I understand bad days happen..but my day would’ve been 100 x better if someone just would’ve showed a little compassion for their mistake.P.s on the bright side my friend and I crushed it with our very last minute running around.…but sheeesh I could’ve at least sat down for a cup of coffee this morning before panic mode set in!

I wanted to give it 3.5 stars so I rounded up to 4. The customer service is great. I used the self checkout line and the young lady working there was already solving a problem I was having before I had even asked her. The prices are decent. I do think the Harris Teeter across the street has more to choose from. But overall a nice supermarket.

Their fry chicken has really went down hill from store to store. It use to be the best. Now its just fair.

Typical Publix, (too) high cost IMHO for quality products.I have noticed the terrible ¿ smaller amounts ¿ of products agains same cost as before with up to double the amount of product. Verry sad.As a born European I find this pure a ripping off of potential customers.There is no more value for money.I am fully aware of the business model used but dont like it one bit and know it is and will only get worse.They will find out soon enough when customers stay away because money can only be spend once and everything gets more expensive, evwrything gets highe except for tge wages of people/customersMind you it is not just publix, most other sort like stores battle with the same. Luckily there are stores like Aldi, Lidl etc. I will still stop by on occasion for thecfew things they have that I like or when I say to myself lets treat myself one in a while.

Moderately clean stocking is an issue as with everywhere rn. Also a bit confusing that many products are mislabeled in this store or stocked in the wrong place and many of the sale items are in their normal location but also at the end cap but they are stocking the end cap which makes it hard for customers to find the products theyre looking for if they are a regular customer in that store

Pretty much consistently stocked and everyone is very friendly and helpful.

Three stars only because the employees are nice. I used to pop in here once or even twice a week to get a meal from the hot bar. A chicken tendy meal typically cost me 7-8$. So I was taken completely off guard when my meal now cost nearly 14$!! They doubled their prices in a matter of a week! So yeah, it’s going to be Lidl and Aldi for me from now on.

My Publix was out of stock on a weekly special item, I was able to order it at the Steele Creek store for pickup!! A great experience - thank you!!!

03/15/21 picking up a few things, employee in the deli was very dismissive of how I wanted my ham sliced... I told her what number I wanted it cut on on she was just like maam just choose from very thin thin or sandwich Well, I dont know, I just know I want it cut on one. I even explained I know different machines cut different thickness, and she wasnt having it.

The staff at the bakery are heaven sent! I had a baby shower emergency last minute and they really saved the day! They made the most perfect beautiful cupcakes at record speed. I was in tears at how kind they all were for coming through for me and making sure the baby shower was a success! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars! They deserve 100! I highly recommend this Publix and cant thank the bakery staff enough!

Not happy with Publix Pharmacy. I feel like they changed my medication because I used a coupon. When I asked why it was different the pharmacy assistant showed me what I normally get but the pharmacist said that medication on the shelf was allocated to another patient... Which I dont believe. Heres why.... They had my prescription filled and ready to go but when I told them I was going to use a coupon they redone my order which took 30 more minutes. So how does it go from being ready to having to redo it. The simple was to tell me the truth by saying if you use a coupon you get the cheap stuff but dont lie to me.... Not happy

Publix in general is a great store to go and do grocery, however at this particular location I had a bad experience today.An item was marked down $.50 and although that is not a lot of money. It’s all about what you claim and stand after.The customer service rep, instead of fixing it or going back to check the price. She told me that the piece of bread that I buy all the time and the regular price is $2.99 she told me that it’s already marked down.I will try to avoid this location from now on.

So the thing with Publix is that they have some things that Harris Teeter doesnt have thqt I love. They have Neuro Drinks that I love, also they have more flavors of the Hi-Chew that I like even though I cant eat the Strawberry flavor I think but they also have Green Apple and Mango. They also have this Keto Yogurt which I stumbled on a couple of weeks ago and its great!

Very clean store ! However whenever I use the money center in regular clothing (and look like your average young black woman) I am asked several questions about my transaction and asked for ID. Whenever I use their money center in my scrubs and my badge for the same transaction every month I am usually not carded. Whenever my white neighbor uses their money center /customer service center she has never been carded under any circumstance. I have addressed these concerns with management to no avail and with no changes and on the next time this discrimination happens I will definitely take this much further than this review .

The best supermarket

What a wonderful experience we had with the Publix on South Tryon Street! I was the first customer to do curbside pickup and they nailed it! Great communication while they were shopping for me, perfect substitutions when necessary and I even received a wonderful bag of goodies for being their first pickup customer! The manager was super friendly! They really made my day! Will definitely use this service again!
