Im not sure who I spoke to, however, the customer service was not friendly. In the beginning when he answered, I greeted him but it took him lolonger to respond. On top of that, he released the phone in my face. Very unprofessional! They did not service me. Im taking business elsewhere. Also, I felt like he wouldve probably took advantage with overpricing me. I was asking questions and he really didnt want to answer.

Yo I wanted to drop a good word, for this shop. ... Bill, himself took care of a bad caliper problem, on the back of my car. .. Two other places fumbled the ball, I went to the two days before (one place which somebody RECOMMENDED!) ... Bill got a special tool and got that thing to spin, again. ... Saved me what would have been a huge job, to replace equipment on both sides. So this guy is the best brakes guy in Charlotte. (With Ive had dealership service centers, who werent good at brakes ... DONT USE THIS PLACE- I went for a brake replacement because there was a grinding noise. They said they needed to replace the rear rotors which was a $450 fix. The grinding noise returned a few days later and they said they now needed to replace the front. The front was apparently the issue the whole time so they scammed me out of an additional $450 I didnt need to spend.

Bill was very upfront and honest about my brakes and what needed to be done. My appointment was scheduled and I wan in and out in no time. The service was great, waiting area very clean, staff was Covid aware at all times. I enjoyed talking to him and will definitely use him/them again.

Bill was very informative. All staff were nice helpful and professional. I didnt like that they had a special for four brakes for roughly 200 but I paid 164 for two front brakes. Service was in and out. Covid aware. Clean. The entrance and parking are directly in front of the building.

This place does good work. Ive had my breaks done here twice and got my rotors shaved down recently. And immediately after leaving the shop I felt the difference in my car for the better. I come here because the owner-operator is professional and honest and hes good at what he does. Its also less expensive than going to my dealership & on Wednesdays all service is an extra 15% off. THE PROBLEM with the Breaks 4 Less experience is the massive disconnect between the call center who quotes the prices/sets appointments over the phone and whats actually happening at the shop. I called the number I saw on TV told them I had to get my rotors shaved and the rotors were ON the vehicle. I was quoted a price. When I get to the shop the price I was quoted was for rotors NOT ON the vehicle. If the call center sets an expectation thats not met in the shop then disappointment & frustration are inevitable. But the guy with the glasses was cool, he took care of what I needed & I paid a fair price (thank God it was Wednesday!) Its a typical auto shop, neither clean nor comfortable but the guys worked quick and I was out fast. Ill continue to get my break work done here because my dealership quoted me 3x what I paid for the same job I got done at Breaks 4 Less. Guy with the glasses has a good operation, he just needs an administrator so they can take their own calls/appointments & create a better experience.

Had my front brakes and rotors changed October 2020. In December I noticed a vibration when I went to stop. Took my car back and was told it was okay to drive and the rotors needed resurfacing but there machine was broke. Hell call when its fixed. He we are a month later and supposedly there machine is still not fixed. Now my rotors are warped. All customer service does is transfer me to the store than the tech says he cant do anything till the machine is fixed. Hows can you run a business with equipment that doesnt work? I understand things break but a month.... Come on now. My advice, take your car somewhere else!

The owner of this shop is one of the most uneducated, unprofessional business owners I’ve ever met. We had an issue with Bill and instead of trying to work on a solution, he proceeded to insult me, my husband and my daughter (slurs) and then he put hands on my husband and shoved him out of the shop. If you’d like video proof, search “Bill Brakes 4 Less” on YouTube where you’ll see evidence of him assaulting and making fun of our special needs daughter. Please consider another option when looking for cheap brakes, this guy should not own a business.

Had a 9 o’clock appointment this morning that was confirmed! Billy the owner claim he didn’t see it in his system, okay cool I proceed to let him know why I made the appointment and basically told me he couldn’t do the brake job. Didn’t attempt to even check the car brakes himself to see if he can do it or not just kind of brushed it off. Meanwhile I have my 4 year old with me, it’s early & i have to get to work at 12. Just unprofessional & will never get a dime out of me & if I could give 0 stars I sure would...go somewhere else if you could!

Call to get a price on a service I need. They lady that answered the phone didn’t seem pretty happy! She asked me did I want to make a appointment and I told her let me call the towing company first and she just said alright and hung up in my face before I could say anything else!!

Called them to see if I could get my brakes resurfaced and am told they can get it done. Set up an appointment and drive 30 minutes and they tell me they cant do it. Not surprising this place has 3 stars, poor service and cant communicate with their customers what theyre capable of.

The owner was disrespectful and the worker, Called them to see if I could get my brakes put on and they told they can get it done gave me a set price . Set up an appointment and then get there & they give me a more expensive price then tells me it’s not in stock &that they can t do it and that they don’t know when they will have brakes in ... they just didn’t want to do the job that’s poor service and cant communicate with their customers!! These guys are knowledgeable. They brought me outside to show what’s happening and what needs to be replaced. I had my brakes previously done at a Chrysler dealership (out of state) and wish there was a B4L nearby during the time I needed repairs done. I’ve done business with B4L at a different location before and had great service. These guys provided the same great service. Highly recommend.

Great experience with the guys here. I think the computer acting up gave him more of a fight than my car. Just goes to show how often these folks work on cars and do a damn good job of it.

I had shopped around for reasonable rates for brakes and rotors and was given some outrageous prices. I stayed up all night goggling different places for brake service and came across Breaks For Less and remembered an advertisement I had seen a while back. I read all the reviews and decided this was the place!! I was not dissappointed. Bill was on time courteous and very informative. I was able to make a same day appointment with no issues. As soon I go there my car was taken in and my brakes were fixed very quickly. Reasonable cost, nice quiet waiting area, and the staff was nice.

Terrible customer service. I had an appointment scheduled and the guy at the desk told me that I shouldnt put the brake pads that come with the special but I should use dealer pads. Which is fine, but when I started asking why he was pretty vulgar saying if they mess up, its on you, dont come back expecting me to do anything about it. Very rude customer service. I know people will likely be attracted to this place due to the low price, but based off of how I was treated, I would be VERY careful using using this business. Very concerning.

Stay away from this place. If something appears too good to be true it is. I went there in July 2019 to have my rear brakes done. Here we are in February 2020 and I hear a grinding noise when braking. I take it to Firestone thinking it’s a power steering issue only to be informed that my rear brakes are metal to metal. I was lied too and cheated. I’m really disappointed. Save your money and pay for quality brakes with a warranty! If I could give them 0 stars I would.

I can say that I am totally pleased with my experience today. Bill was warm and inviting and allowed me to personally come in the shop and look at everything they were doing. I saw the equipment come straight out the box. He even showed me where AAA was trying to scam me by damaging my rotor on purpose! I dont know what everyone else issue is but I have had a GREAT experience and will be back! Good job Mr Bill!

I really my brakes replace and I figured I needed the rotors too. I walked in asking for brake service the owner Will was a knowledgeable man who assured me he would take care of my car and will not break the bank. I left the keys went have breakfast at the Midnight Diner had breakfast. About an hour later car was ready and the price was right!

I thought they provided a straightforward honest service. They gave suggestions on what to do next to improve my cars ride. They were quick too! Id use again

HORRIBLE experience - would recommend everyone avoid going here. I wish I had just picked my car up and left, from the minute they called to tell me what work needed to be done.I was told my rotors had already been turned multiple times, so they’d recommend replacing all four rotors. I bought my car new, so know the full service history, and my rotors had never been resurfaced, so knew that was BS from the start. When I questioned the guy, he told me to “call my husband or boyfriend and get back to him”. That should’ve been my second sign to tell them never mind, but hindsight is 20/20. Anyways, I tell them to just resurface all four rotors, replace the brake pads, and replace the brake fluid. All of this is part of the Brakes 4 Less “4 Wheel Brake Job”, which is what I was charged for.Pick up my car later that day, and after about 2-3 days, start hearing a strange noise when braking. Take my car to a Toyota dealer, because I instantly knew these guys at Brakes 4 Less had done something wrong and didn’t trust them to fix it or be honest about it. Toyota tells me that the back rotors were never resurfaced, the front rotors were resurfaced with a dull tool so they’re uneven, the brake fluid needed to be replaced as it never had been, and the brake pads they used are poor quality, all of which was causing the noise I was hearing. Needless to say, I had to pay for all of the work Brakes 4 Less supposedly did, again. Have called several times to speak with manager and my calls aren’t returned, although I’m sure if they were, I wouldn’t get any money back anyways. Don’t go here.

Appreciate the honest opinion given, it was called out that I probably wouldn’t be here having any work done if my previous mechanic had been more thorough and made me aware of potential issues. Dropped it off in the morning and was ready by noon!

5 out of 5 with my experience with Brakes4Less.I went to a Firestone shop and was informed that several items needed to fixed on my car with a bill that would be approx. $1400.00. Being on a budget, I looked around and found Brakes4less. Spoke to Bill about my Firestone experience and he physically showed me where I was being taken advantage of by Firestone. I really appreciate the honesty and their allowance of physical inspection by the customer instead of having me take their word on faith and/or their companys name. I travel a lot with my children and Bill put my mind at ease in showing me how he corrected my issue and explained how every part of my vehicle is supposed to function. For this I feel much more comfortable driving my vehicle and, more importantly, feel safe. Thank you, Bill.

I got there and informed them I had an appointment. Pulled my car right in. Asked what was going on with my car. Told them and he went and checked the brakes. Came back in and provided me with options. He explained my options thoroughly and included the price differences. It does appear that they are willing to try and save you money and not take all of it. They take pride in the work they conduct on your vehicle. Great environment and very convenient for servicing. We had got brakes amd roters done on car for $480. They were still grinding afterward. They told us to keep driving to brake it in. Months later still grinding. Brought it back in said we needed calipers. Brought it to goodyear to get new tires and turns out something was loose causing the grinding. Rude ppl also nobody wearing masks with covid and very dirty had to bring kids in with me and didnt feel respected at all! They did am awful job and terrible customer service will never be back.

It was very dirty looking. There were two men out there taking a cigarette break and they didnt ask me what I needed right away. I drove an hour to get there and then they told me they ran out of parts needed to fix my type of car about one week prior. No one offered to order them for me either. I was disappointed because I the TV ad was very attractive so I thought I would give it a try.

Called in to inquire about price and quote for getting brakes done in reference to offer that’s on their site and was spoken to in a very condescending manner from the very beginning. The phone call didn’t even last two minutes before I decided that I’ll never give them my business. It’s apparent that you get what you pay for, because if the customer service is this bad, I can only imagine the job done on the brakes.

Very poor service center. Called the franchise company but seems to be no different than their recommended service center. People should be liable for false advertising including the media. Reporting without verification through your network is very bad. Through spectrum news I already went to 2 location which did not live up to the standards of the industry.

If you want efficient, affordable and honest, this is the place to go. Bill let me bring my own parts, and they also gave me a heads up on a repair that needs attending so I dont keep wearing down my tire. Definitely recommend to anyone willing to do proper repairs and not just looking for a cheap fix. Bill is too honest to offer only a cheap fix and covers all options available per situation.

Needed new brake rotors and pads for my Acura TL since it was making the telltale squeaking noise from the wheels. I got there at 8 am on a Saturday and they had me out by 9:30. I called them told them my pads flew off on my front passenger, and its eating up my rotors how much would it be he told me 180 rotors + brake pads + labor. I go in on my lunch break and they where rude and told me 400 for that one side. I asked to speak to the guy I spoken with and they said hes out to lunch I went back after lunch I seen I guy walk to the back I asked for the guy I spoke with and they said he never came back from lunch asked who that guy that just left they told me to leave if I wasnt going to get my breaks done. I will never recommend this place for nothing

Never will go there again!!! I came to get brake rotors and pads fixed. Their resurface machine is down, which is not my fault. (why dont you have a backup?) so I went to purchase the parts and all I needed them to do was put them on for me. They wanted to charge me more for the labor than the actual brake job itself, which is robbery!!! Went elsewhere to get the job from a company that was actually PREPARED to do the job!!!

I scheduled a appointment and the representative told me that it would only take 30 mins to check brakes and rotors. I pulled up to the shop and found out it take a hour and a half 🙄. The black heavy set guy that was at the counter was very unprofessional and didn’t even acknowledge me walking up to the counter. He was not aware of scheduled appointments and what needed to be done to my vehicle. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a auto shop.

Ive read some of the reviews on here and I was hesitant about going in. But when I saw the price difference compared to dealerships and other mechanic shops I figured I would give them a try. Yes the curb appeal could use some help but if that is how they are able to maintain the good prices then Im okay with it. The black gentlemen was very honest with me. Told me what was wrong and gave me a price. I was able to compare that price with other quotes I received and I was happy with it. They may not be the most professional people but thats not what I need. I need someone who can do the job well and fair. Thats these guys. I will be coming back from now on.

I drive an older model Toyota Camry and was experiencing problems with my brakes. The dealership wanted to charge me more than what the car is worth. Yesterday I went to Brakes for Less and spoke with Bill. He showed me the brakes and explained the exact same thing the dealership did and gave me a very fair price and I went with it. Took my 2005 Ford Escape for new brake pads - received a call shortly after leaving my car to tell me - I also needed new rotors but that he was not going to touch my brakes because he said my master cylinder was leaking and needed to be replaced. While I am grateful that he did not do the brakes since he thought the master cylinder needed replacing - I took my car to another repair shop and was told that my Master Cylinder was fine - and not leaking. They changed the brakes and the rotors and all is good with my car. The man at Brakes Plus acted like I was an accident waiting to happen and that I needed to get that fixed immediately. Was disappointed in the service I got and did not get. Will not recommend this location.

Cant beat it. I thought I was going to need rotors and brake pads replaced and everybody else I called for a quote said it would be about $300 more than what Brakes 4 less would charge me. Made an appointment here and Bill showed me that my calibers were completely shot (I had figured based on the way my car was driving it was probably more than just the brake pads so this wasnt too big of a shock). He got the parts brought to him and had me out the door in less than 2 hrs total time and it only cost me $150 more than what everybody else initially quoted me without the calibers. Pretty certain I would have easily spent over $1,000 anywhere else. Felt like a completely different car driving it home. Cant beat it.

I must say that I read the reviews before I went to this place. I disagree with any bad reviews. The owner Bill was great. He greeted me and ask the right questions. He made sure I was comfortable. He gave me options. He also was patient and very helpful. He explained each step and the length of time it would take. My car needed a lot of work and I knew it. They had my car ready in a couple of hours. Its nice to go somewhere as a woman and not feel cheated!

Honest Service!I stopped in because my Sienna was making a noise at the back wheel that sounded like a brake issue. They took a look at it and let me know there was plenty of brake pad left, and I just needed to clean out the brake dust residue that had built up between the pad and the rotor to eliminate the noise.Thanks guys! I took my car into the dealership for a recall. While inspecting my car they told me that all brakes needed some immediate attention. They gave me a quote that seems rather high. I felt that I needed a second opinion and a better price. I remember seeing the Brakes 4 Less commercials and decided to try them. I made an appointment and when I got there I spoke with the manager Bill, he inspected my car, showed me the worn out parts and gave me a few options. The price for 4 wheels was almost the same as what the dealership wanted for 2 wheels. So I let them service my car. I am so glad that I gave them the chance to repair my car. Worst of the worst place dont trust them... I was quoted one price over the phone and when I came into the shop they tripled the amount meanwhile this is just for two front brakes when they had four brakes and four pads for $3 less then the price I was quoted originally.. . Can you say scam?🤔
