They have a beautiful selection of Houseplants at really great prices. Just about every popular variety of Houseplants! Everyone was so nice and the houses were easy to navigate and find what you wanted. Highly highly recommend. Will be stopping anytime we come back to Charlotte!

Now this is a true plant nursery!This place is so well organized with a variety of plant children for everyone.The single staff member I encounter was an amazing help with finding the most medium to low maintenance plants for my home. She even offered a box to help carry my plants to the car.The cost compared to some of the newer plant nurseries popping up around Charlotte is absolutely amazing. The prices vary from $1 to $30 or so. The plants themselves looked very healthy and well taken care of.The only downside is there isnt a great section for flowers pots but you can easily purchase those at your local Walmart, Target or online.I would recommend this place to anyone who is a new or seasoned plant parent with budget friend pockets.

I am new to owning plants and was recommended this place by a buddy who owns many plants. The place was very easy to find and had a ton of different plants. Marla was extremely accommodating and helpful the moment I got out of my car. Marla helped me pick the perfect plant and recommended a lot of other plants as well. She told me how to care for the plant I picked, when to water the plant, how much sunlight it needed, etc. It was a great environment and I am looking forward to coming back soon.

Beautiful, gorgeous, absolutely wonderful! My breath was taken away by what I was met with stepping out of the car! They have an amazing variety of plants for both indoor and outdoor landscaping and their prices are comfortable. Service was friendly and knowledgeable and super patient.The plants are all super healthy and look abundantly well cared for.All in all, a phenomenal experience and I will most certainly be back. I wont be getting my precious plant babies from anywhere else!Thanks for the great first experience!

Beautiful nursery FULL of house plants and succulents! I felt so happy wandering down the long aisles admiring the beauty and health of their plants. Hanging plants, large bushy plants 6ft+ tall, fiddle leaf trees that were as tall as the green house ($600+ or so?), tiny starters potted cuttings to full pots, succulent galore and so many succulent arrangements both in pots and hanging.....it was AMAZING.They also had Koi Ponds! Looked like prices start at $25. For pond plants, I saw water lettuce. They also had outside plants and flowers both potted and hanging, shrubs and bushes of stuff, and trees. I would say they have a bigger concentration of houseplants and succulents tho.I wanted to take way more home, but I had to resist. I will be back once I get shelves and/or rods up!

Such a wonderful greenhouse in the Charlotte area to visit. They have some of the most diverse selection and sometimes I find plants that are on my rare and most wanted list I cant find anywhere else. Such a nice greenhouse to visit.

Cant believe i waited to visit this place. They have EVERYTHING i was looking for. From small plant to a big plant (all the calathea). Some do sell out fast. The lady i asked was very knowledgeable. I cant wait to come back ang get more. They do also have pots for sale. They have instagram and post some of new plants they get. They have terrarium and succulent selections too.

Lynn was fantastic. She was working on a project and as I passed said good morning to me and began to help me out. Very knowledgeable and patient and i learned a lot from the conversation I had with her and she gave me wonderful suggestions to match with my home. I am always pleased with the products purchased here. The staff is very nice and helpful and that’s why I return every year.Some plants are pricey but the quality is there.

WHOA. So if youre into houseplants, and youre in the area, you should just come see this place for yourself. Wife and I could have easily spent $$$s here if we came more prepared to take plants home. Huge variety of many popular plants, with lots of maturity variations. Soils for all plants are much healthier and better irrigated compared to big box stores.

I absolutely adore the greenhouse. As a plant collector with over 200 plants, the selection, price, and service here is great. Its one of go-tos for adding to my collection. Even their not for sale/ rental/ private collection plants are beautiful and are surely #plantgoals

Greenhouse HeavenThis is the best greenhouse in the area that Ive visited so far. Great selection of houseplants and prices arent too bad either. I have not been able to find a scindapsus pictus or watermelon peperomia plant anywhere. The customer service is pretty good too. I will be back!

Their customer service skills are not very friendly, I called with a simple question and the lady on the phone was very annoyed telling me Mam we have a lot of plants here, have you ever been here? but with a very nasty tone. All I was asking was if they had a specific plant since I live in Cherryville an hour away and I just wanted to make sure they had it before taking the trip there. A good customer service wouldve said I can check for you and call you back since its going to take me some time to find out. Its unfortunate that someones actions can ruin a good thing because I love their plants, just 2 weeks ago I purchased from them 5 Caletheas plants but after this Ill never go back there.

I cannot begin tell you how awesome every trip to Oakdale has been! Everyone there is so helpful - and knowledgeable. Just scored the Japanese maples of my dreams. Can’t wait to go back!

This nursery has a large variety of indoor plants that you cant find at commercial stores. Everytime Ive visited both the owners were there which I love. You can tell they care and are passionate about their business. They are very knowledgeable and every employee is very willing to help! I will continue to support this business. They are one of the best around the CLT area.

My latest haul! I could literally spend hours here. There are SO many house plants and succulents!! The folks that work there are always friendly, and every once in a while they’ll cut me a deal on something cool! 100% worth the 15 minute drive.

Local, family-owned greehouse with a great variety of plants and trees. I bought 2 olive trees and 2 fig trees for 1/4 of what it would have cost from an online place. Trees are healthy and have leaves. Highly recommend!

This is an overdue and honest review. This nursery has a nice variety of plants with reasonable prices. We loved that it is not far from the downtown area where we reside. However, customer service goes a long way for us. On quite a few occasions we have seen and heard comments and gestures from the two ladies that work there, that would come across as if they do not appreciate some of their customers. Unprofessional comments in conversations about other customers is never cool. Then I witnessed one of the ladies act as if a customer was invisible. It was very awkward and I thought wow, if I was that customer l would have put everything down and walked away without looking back. I thought wow what if the shoe were on the other foot. There are too many other nurseries in and around town and online to accept this type of behavior from one. The male, whom I believe may be the owner, has always been nice and courteous. We figure the ladies must be family members for hire. They definitely need some courses in customer service or treating others as they would like to be treated.

Oakdale Greenhouses has a huge selection of indoor plants (which is exactly what I was looking for). Marla helped me find the right plant for the room I was looking to place it in based on pictures and how much sunlight the area got. She was extremely knowledgeable on several different plants that I was interested in. I would definitely recommend!!

After a long day at work, I decided to stop by the nursery that I’ve passed so many times in the last 13 years that I’ve lived nearby. I only live two miles away! When I drove up Ms. Marla was more than happy to escort me aisle after aisle to find the perfect plants that will make their new home in my desolate backyard. She shared with me the plants that she thought would flourish In my shady backyard and my partially sun-lit front yard. I took pictures of potential choices as she happily shared her favorite picks with me and the properties of each plant. (Some attracted butterflies, others kept mosquitoes at bay, etc.)With a massive landscaping job ahead of me, I finally decided to focus on decorating my porch with Mums, my mailbox with a variety of creepers and some seasonal flowers would be placed around my tree. I am so happy with the results and thankful that the ladies didn’t mind sharing their expertise on what would work best for me.I think that we should support our local businesses more. I will be back!

I went to Charlotte for a day trip and went to several nurseries in the area and Oakdale had the BEST selection! I really appreciated that they had all their plants priced and had the plant names labeled. I would 100% return to Oakdale if youre coming to the area.

Nice little greenhouse with a bit of everything from (of course) landscaping plants to a good sized succulent and bonsai selection. Staff were really helpful and pleasant. If you have a big enough pond area, they even sell koi.

Such a wonderful variety of house plants at amazing prices. I was shocked to realize just how much Ive been overpaying for plants from an online shop I use. You will be in plant heaven as you walk through the green houses. I bought over 6 plants ranging from pothos to philodendron to ZZs and cactus and they are all super healthy! No pests, no rot or mold.So happy! Im counting the days till Saturday because Im headed right back 😄🥰

On a scale of 1 to 10, I give Oakdale Greenhouse a 12. The staff is amazing and Bill the owner is tremendously knowledgeable and friendly. My only regret is that I just recently found out about this place.

I ordered cherry trees from this nursery. The service I received was outstanding! The lady who took my order was very professional and helpful. I was able to have the trees delivered one day after placing the order. Two gentleman delivered the tree on time and planted it for me. They also provided information on how to care for the trees. I could not be happier with the service I received.

I had been looking for a nursery with great house plants and was so happy to find Oakdale. It was worth the drive from Belmont. I needed plants for both my coffee Roastery and my home and got a car full of plants! Jeff was super friendly and helpful and I cannot wait to go back!

I went for coleus and I bought a beautiful zebra plant instead. If I had 100.00 to spend I would spend 101.00. I love Oakdales and the people there.

Excellent place to find a huge variety of plant species and individuals of each type to choose from. I am extremely happy with the quality and health of the plants I purchased from here. I purchased a Boston Fern here for $20 and its way healthier than any I have seen at lowes, and it is in a nicer hanging pot, so I dont feel a need to go out and buy another which would have brought the cost of the lowes plant to the same price. The Polka Dot plants were all stunning and vibrant, the Oxalis is healthy and just started blooming, the Calathea are happy and not a damaged leaf in sight. Not to mention the East Indian Box Fern and Party Time are stunners. Happy with everything I purchased from here, and thoroughly impressed with the knowledge and friendliness of the staff. I am hypoglycemic and my sugar crashed while shopping, they expressed immediate concern, made sure I had someone with me, and made it to the car safely as well as offering me things to help my blood sugar. Also! For any who were interested in the pots I posted pictures of, they are from Old Time Pottery. Great selection and cheaper than anywhere else. Now you know where to get your plants and pottery, good luck everyone!

Ive bought from her a couple of tea and never had any problems however I recently bought a Monstera Adansonii and the plant had root rot. Im trying my best to revive it but for $34, I had better expectations. Im still trying to save it but it really sucks because I was so excited to have one of these guys.

The lady up front was really rude my kid found a toy and instead of asking for it she took the liberty to yank it causing a scratch on his hand... Great plants amazing but shes madr it not worth going back so if you do decide to go I suggest no kids.....but the guy there is very helpful and awesome just her....

I love shopping here. The plants are happy and healthy and my questions are always answered, even if the answer is, Im not sure. I appreciate when an expert says what they know and doesnt guess at the rest. All advice Ive gotten has been great.
