I love this shop. It is the only bead store I know of in Charlotte and I always find a wonderful assortment of beads and findings. My 2 issues with the shop are: 1. Not every bead states what material it is composed of and 2. It is a bit elitist. I hate being negative, so this is not something easy for me to say. Every time I have visited the store over the past few years, there is at least one customer in the store who has a sales representative seemingly assigned to to them as they are obviously a customer who spends a great deal of money in the store. This can be off-putting to other customers. Just because a store representative does not know how much each customer is worth does not mean they do not all deserve equal attention. Possibly there is enough staffing to assign a personal shopper to anyone who would like assistance. That could be the case. I have always been asked if I needed help and I do decline as I like to shop alone. But, it does seem like this store caters to the wealthy. If I am incorrect, then I apologize, this is simply my perspective, from the multiple times I have visited the store.

Very nice location and they got plenty of parking spots in the back. And everyone has a always ready to help you. The beads selection is huge. ❤️❤️❤️ and I really appreciate that they packed everything in paper wrap and paper bag and no plastic at all 👌

This place has the greatest ambience...great bead selection... Pleasant friendly customer service. And talk about creating loyalty...and acknowledging repeat customers. I brought my Granddaughter into store last week and she was in heaven with all the selections. She makes her own jewelry. We were there last Thursday and so impressed we came back again today! THE STAFF REMEMBERED BOTH OF US!

For years I had several beautiful but broken necklaces with the parts all in a bag. I stumbled across this business online and sent them pics of my necklaces with the broken pieces. They said sure we can restring these, send them to us. I did that and they contacted me within days of receipt and told me that there were all repaired. I paid them over the phone and had my necklaces in 2 days. They looked just like that had when I bought them years ago only stronger and with a better toggle clasp. I am SO, SO HAPPY I found beads Inc. Now if another one piece breaks, I will not be upset, I will just ship to Beads Inc for a fabulous and quick repair. This place is wonderful. I have been a customer ever since theyve opened and service is always 5+ . Owners and workers are super involved and knowledgeable, they know you by your name, not to mention the product is top notch. Its our little local clt gem.

Just stopped in for the first time! Large selection, lots of variety. Beautiful samples. We came at closing time by accident, but they were so nice and stayed a whole hour late just to help us!! Staff also demonstrated exactly how to make earrings and helped us make sure we had all the supplies we needed for our project without us even having to ask!! 10/10 customer service and overall experience :)

Took my 6 year old daughter and every associate stopped by to check on her and make sure she was finding all the fun beads she needed to make her special pieces. Everyone was so kind. It was immaculately clean. We will be back!

Wow! Talk about amazing customer experience! I walked in an hour before closing to leave a lovely sterling silver necklace my mother had left me for repair. The metal “stands” the beads are stung in was broken. After looking at it, the person said wait a few minutes and let me see if we can do this ( it is not their standard fare). 10 minutes later she had done it! And would take almost nothing for it!!! It means a great deal to me to have a cherished piece back to remind me of my mom.So many thank yous!!!!! I will certainly be back!

Super amazing, friendly, helpful staff....unpretentious atmosphere, every bead and bauble imaginable! You could browse unbothered for hours while listening to relaxing music.....very cool overall vibes! Five stars for sure, I found everything I needed to create six pairs of earrings...will be back soon! XO

My Wife and I signed up for one of their beginner classes. It was a hands on class, with detailed instructions as well as tips and tricks along the way. Throughout the class, we heard about the owner and her journey to bring this business to today, as well as viewing work done by here. Had the ability to purchase our creations but it wasnt pushed. Very friendly staff, all very helpful. Great selection on beads and hardware - In short this is a definite go to, well be back, and we suggest you do the same!

Love the selections!

I can only describe these ladies with one word class! My wife and I stopped in during a rainy day in sweat suits and with a infant who was extremely fussy. We were greated as if were regulars and given a quick informal tour of the store. Just the right touch so that we werent uncomfortable but welcomed. We have gone several times and each time we were remembered and welcomed with awesome customer service and a brilliant atmosphere. Great prices and a wonderful selection I cannot wait to go back!

A variety of selection from mineral, woods, metals, etc. I will say that on a busy Saturday it gets a little cramped, but no shortage of stock.With so many items it took a few turns to be sure I saw everything! There is the bulk of items on the first floor along with a few craft tables, and the second floor had more merchandise, two craft tables and some employee area.Parking is limited on street and a small lot in back for under 10 cars (then you walk around the side to the front of the building).

Five star visit! This was my first time in the shop today and I was overwhelmed by the selection of beads and tools needed to create jewelry. The prices shocked me as well. Why? Being that this is a premiere store in Charlotte, I was thinking HIGH! I was mistaken. I found seed beads for cheaper than what I was seeing online. That is a GREAT deal to me when shopping for quality without breaking the bank. Oh, and if you forget your debit card like I did, Samsung Pay (if you have Android) does work. The ladies there are very helpful and the shop is so so so gorgeous. I will be shopping again soon. I really appreciated the experience! :)

Hands down the absolute best bead store Ive visited out of many bead stores across the east coast. Excellent selection of glass, Czech, pearl, wood, semiprecious, brass, copper, and silver beads, pendants, and hardware. Staff is super attentive, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The new location and remodel is stunning, well-lit, and spacious. A+

My daughter and I love this place. This is our special Mommy/Daughter activity that we do together. The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. They get to know you if you come in even on a semi-regular basis. I love following their Instagram account, it gives me inspiration.

I was definitely pleasantly surprised. I certainly didnt expect the awesomeness that I found in there. I took my 14 year old. Im not usually the jewelry Maker. I actually thought I wouldnt find anything that I wanted for myself. Wrong! We didnt make anything in the store. We bought our beads and brought them home to make our jewelry. But their selection was delightful! And they had something for every budget and every style! We will return soon:)

The owner Christine, is friendly, down to earth, creative, and excels at jewelry making at an accurate, quick pace. The other two ladies who have assisted me in my past two recent visits, also did a fine job.My only regret about this business is that Ann is competitive with the other women and fake towards me. Not very professional!

My very favorite store! Beautiful beads and very helpful, friendly staff, all of whom are very knowledgeable and creative. I always feel that I can stay as long as I need to complete a project. They can knot pearls for a very reasonable price too. Worth a trip no matter where you are coming from!

I have never in memory gooogle reviewed, but Beads, Inc. deserves it. The energy and aesthetic of the boutique is clean, spacious and so appealing. The staff is outstanding. Truly the best customer service of probably anywhere I shop in the clt. area. For those designing pieces to sell, semi and precious bead strands can be found for lower prices online/in bulk but nothing beats the inspiration and convenience of choosing materials by hand. I stop by here every other week for supplies. I highly recommend this shop!

That would be a big NO for me. Most of them didnt even know what crystals were what...if they had any to choose from. I guess I went there thinking they had a better collection of beads. Most of the ladies were cordial though. I wont be returning.. not what I expected. To each their own.

The two sisters who own this shop couldnt have been more helpful . They have lovely supplies and terrific prices. Better yet is the time they spent with us. They made our necklaces for us while we waited. Awesome experience and so much fun.

The ladies here are fabulous, so helpful! I came in with a necklace purchased from somewhere else and they helped me design a pair of earrings to match—and then they made the earrings for me! It was such a wonderful experience!

Wonderful store! My 12 year old daughter is learning to make jewelry and the staff is so helpful and so patient! They also have an incredibly inspiring store, full of such yummy inventory, that I want to take one of their classes and learn to bead as well!

Beads Inc. is owned and operated locally in Charlotte, NC. The store is nestled in a beautiful area in Myers Park. Christine, the owner, is always there when I stop in - which makes this local business even better. Her sister, Anne, is super knowledgeable and can assist and guide you through any jewelry making task. Meggie and Sarah are so helpful and their customer service is top - always wanting to help and show you new techniques. All of the ladies are super friendly and really love what they do. If youre interested in learning the skills of jewelry making, I suggest signing up for one of their classes (offered twice a week). They taught me how to create a few years ago, and Ive been doing it ever since. Nothing better than supporting your local small business!

Very cute little place. I like going there for something different. They do not seem to maintain a file of what they supply (i.e. types of stones, grades). Prices range from very affordable to very expensive, I assume, depending on the materials which they may or may not have complete knowledge of. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. The parking is a little snug but I manage since my vehicle is small. I recommend this shop even if its just to see what they have in.

Great place! Large selection of beads and findings! The store is in an old home refrubished as a bead store each room has its own theme and characteristics. But if your not a regular shopper look forward to being ignored and watched until you reach the checkout.

I always find a great spot upstairs to work on my projects and always get assistance when I need it as well as they always check to make sure your comfortable and doing well. The selection is two floors so be prepared to make a day out of your visit it is definitely worth it!

This store has a large selection of beads and excellent coustomer service.They offer an amazing selection of seed beads varying in size and color all of great quality. As well as seeds beads they also have an excellent selection of czech glass beads also a great quality. They prices are very reasonable for such quality beads . It is a very friendly atmosphere and amazingly decorated and lit. They even offer complementry beverages!

I went to a jeweler to have a bracelet repaired. They quoted me $60. I drove by this store so I stopped in... the woman fixed it in 5 minutes in front of me and charged me $4. Will always be coming here first !
