Great experience at Goodyear today! Came in for an oil change, but the manager Eric walked me out to my car and explained a couple other things that needed to get done. I didnt feel haggled, he was great at explaining why I really did need everything (new tire and alignment) for my safety! Gave me a great deal and was still out within about an hour. I will definitely be back for any services I need.
Eric and the crew are always amazing. Very efficient at getting you in and out and explaining what needs to be done to your vehicle. Have been coming here for years and keep coming back because of the wonderful customer service and friendly personalities.
Me and my whole family have been going to this location for years and we love it! Eric and the entire crew are amazing- hardworking and great customer service!
I was in an out. Was there for an alignment..thought I would be there for at least an hour. Nope less than 30 minutes. Great job guys!
Eric and crew ate the best always take care of my cars and have great service everytime.
Great experience Quality Pros. They knew the problem and they fixed it within the Time frame they promised. Friendly and personable staff
We needed four tires replaced on my husband’s car. Eric, the store manager, answered my call and gave me a quote. He was courteous, charismatic, helpful and funny. We placed the order and arrived on Friday to have them installed. Everything was perfect. Eric and staff were timely and a pleasure to deal with.
Great pricing and customer service. Eric at the front desk was helpful and professional.I’m going back for sure
My personal experiences with this branch of the Goodyear Auto service company is exemplary. Not only are the staff kind, courteous, and relatable, they provide excellent insight and advice on how to deal with your mechanical woes. On both of my visits I left satisfied and confident of being in good hands. In particular, Eric Christiansen the manager of this branch was incredible kind and helpful to me as a customer. Well worth, and money well spent for both piece of mind and supporting good hardworking individuals.
The new manager Eric is very nice and welcoming. As a woman I was not worried about up sell on any additional services. He was honest and told me what I needed and what could wait until the next time around. I suggest giving them a try you won’t be let down. I’m big on taking my car to the dealer instead of anywhere else, but the customer service here along has sold me. Thank you to Eric and his crew!
These guys are awesome. I’ve been bringing my car here for four years. Oil changes, tires and brakes. Always up front and honest, and they automatically enter coupons in for you if there is one that applies. I highly recommend this location.
I have gone to this many times in the past couple years. The staff is always nice and they do great work. I have not had any issues so far. a couple staff members know me by name. They are even sweet to my 2 year who loves cars and let him watch from a safe distance. Some of the prices can be a bit higher but they really arent bad. It was the best price for an oil change when I called around to 4 or 5 other places. The wait area is clean and they do provide water for you while you wait, which, is never too long.EDIT: Just adding how awesome these guys are a year later. James, one of the managers always helps me out with my many questions and not once has he been rude. They let me change the TV to cartoons to keep the little one entertained. I will always go back here when needed.
Dont go here because they over priced for everything. I had some work done in past by them and was over priced. They charged me for a diagnostic test on my car and I wasnt given one because my car wouldnt move out of there parking lot. They played the guessing game and charged me for labor anyway and all they did was crank it up and said on the receipt that it wouldnt go forward or backwards and it needs a transmission. They didnt know it actually had something else wrong with it also but if they had done a diagnostic test they would have found this out.No Labor required for my car because I had my car taken somewhere else to get fixed and they gave me a diagnostic test for free. The Guy at the desk(Big huge Guy, James H) got rude with me and told me to get out of the building because I kept questioning him about charging me when they obviously didnt do a diagnostic test. My receipt didnt even mention a diagnostic test but it listed LABOR that they didnt do. I called another Goodyear and I was told a diagnostic test was free. They are money driven at this location and will refuse to give your money back when youre not please with their service. Old Statesville Road Location
James and the team do an excellent job and provide great customer service!
For many years this was our go-to place for all of our service. But lately it feels like theyre being dishonest with us, or perhaps under-trained. We took our new/used car to this location to see what was wrong with the a/c. They recommended $2000 in repairs. Took it to a Toyota specialist down in SC for a second opinion. He explained that there was nothing wrong with it and it needed a precise amount of freon. It was an $85 fix and works great. Then, brought another one of our cars for an oil change and were told they were too busy, to come back in the morning. We asked if an appointment was needed and they said no, just come first thing. Meanwhile, I saw mechanic sitting there in the garaage looking at his phone and no other mechanics were there. We came back first thing in the morning and were told they were still too busy. We ended up going elsewhere.
Best Good Year in Mecklenburg and The CarolinaIntegrity
Great service! Great customer service and very informational with telling customers about the problem or issues with your car. I always feel comfortable about my car when Im leaving this place.
Best experience ever had at a shop. Real professionalism. Treated with dignity. It was a simple job and they gave me all the info I didnt know about my car that needed repair. Great group of people. I will be returning to complete other repairs needed. Thanks for a great experience!!!!
A fair, honest place that does good work. What else could you want?
This is my favorite place to get my car serviced. Knowledgeable staff and friendly management. Additionally, they never try to sell me services that I dont need. Very honest and upfront - always.
This good year dealership is an excellent place to take your car or truck for repairs. I was out of town Out Of state traveler and they took care of me on a Saturday without any problems and I was back on the road and 2 hours. I think they did a excellent job and comes with a 3 year guarantee. I know Ill stop Good year dealership if I Have My vehicles repaired again.
Very friendly and made sure of the services I really needed.
Jamie takes great care of all my vehicles. They dont push me to spend money I dont need to and also offer various options for some repairs (alignments for example). Great staff to deal with and convenient.
Called this store on Wednesday, 11/29/14 at 1pm. Spoke to a gentleman about a few major issues with my car. He seemed very knowledgeable and had a desire to help as much as possible. After talking about the issues over the phone and getting some info on my car, we made a plan for me to come to the shop so they could take a look at it. He transferred me to someone who set up my appointment. This second individual took my name and scheduled an appointment for Saturday, 12/2/17 at 10am. I showed up Saturday at 9:50am. I walked in and the guy that greeted me told me that there is no appointment for that name. I explained that I called and he asked who I spoke with. Since I didn’t know, I guess that was enough to warrant me not getting my appointment. He told me they had a lot of people in front of me and it would be a couple hours before they even got to it. And even then, a lot longer to troubleshoot; if they could figure it out at all. Exact opposite mentality. Drove 23mi for nothing
I have been coming to this location for almost 3 years. They really value and appreciate the customers. I trust Jamie and the rest of the crew with my car needs. They give you helpful advice and make sure that you are saving your money! They treat you like a real person and dont try to nickel and dime you like other car places I have been to in the past.
Excellent service! Very honest people!
Everyone has always been so kind and helpful. They always let me know if there was more going on with my car and always helped me figure what was more important not more money! Safety first is their motto!
I have been bringing my cars to this service provider for 10 years. 10 years of satisfaction guaranteed. Theyre always professional, friendly and fair. I never had a time when they tried to pressure me into work that wasnt needed. Thanks guys!
Ive been taking my car here for about two years now. Great place to get your car serviced. Friendly and helpful staff that takes the time to show me whats wrong with my car, not just tell me. They just fit me in and are realistic with how long I will be sitting there, which is nice because I am usually sitting there with my child. The budget is tight, they always work with me to ensure they providing me with comparable prices for all services provided. Clean bathrooms; yes this isnt THAT important, but it really is. Overall, I recommend this place for whatever you need done to your car.
The mechanics are very good at their jobs
Terrific!! thank you
Best place in town for tires and service. Jamie is very knowledgeable about cars and has helped me for years now. They are also trustworthy and wont try adding charges like most other places!
Great shop got my new tires done here. Billy is the man!!! Got me the right tires for my odd ball rim size. Now the truck is a true beast!
Been going here for years. They have good service quality, great management. They have always been up front about whatbthey can handle and what they cant. James and Jamie have always done good work on my vehicles. Will always use them as my primary car care.
Great service. Management was great. Always helpful. In and out problem solved.
Got me in and out quick. Manager was super friendly. Will definitely go back for my tires in the future
I have been going to this location for 4 years and never once regretted it. Jamie has always been honest and up front with me and explains what needs done. Great service and the communication is top notch!
Weve been going here for years for almost all of our car issues for both our cars and we have become loyal customers. Weve always gotten good service and Jamie always goes beyond his way to provide the best service and recommendations to resolve whatever ails our cars especially my old car!
The amount of tread has nothing to do with balancing a tire they wanted me to buy new ones and that’s not how a customer should be treated will never buy or use Goodyear ever again... that’s why Goodyear’s are going out of business because they are lazy and do at least as posible
Customers need to check behind the work requested. I asked to have an oil change, fluid check and tire rotation. The fluids did not get checked, the tires did not get rotated, and I now doubt that I got the higher prices oil that I requested. The customer service from James was very poor. He was about to refuse me service because I questioned prices and wanted to change my service request. USE CAUTION OR STAY AWAY FROM THIS GOODYEAR IF YOU CAN!!just know this place will rip you off.
I do not have extensive knowledge of cars so it is important that I employ a mechanic that I can trust will not take advantage of me. I took my car to Goodyear because every time I turned on the AC I could hear a loud noise outside of the car. I spoke with the assistant service manager, Corey Nash. After describing the issue to him, he immediately tells me that it is the AC blower motor that’s making the noise and it would need to be replaced. I agreed and paid $180 to have it replaced. The next day I get a message from Corey saying the motor has been replaced and the noise had stopped. After picking up my car, I turned on the AC and the noise started again immediately. Not only that but now there is a humming inside of the car caused by the new AC blower motor that Goodyear installed.I called the shop and spoke with the store manager, Jamie Elswick, who told me to bring the car back in and he would take a look at it. I did just that. After Jamie hears the noises he tells me that the noise outside of the car is my AC compressor and it would cost another $1000 to fix. He then tells me that the hum inside of the car may be due to the fact that the AC blower motor is new. He says that the motor has a 24,000-mile warranty so if it doesn’t quite down before then bring it back in and he’ll look at it again. I asked him why Cory replaced the blower motor when it was the compressor that needed work and never received a straight answer. So now I have paid the better part of $200 for a blower motor that I didn’t need. I’m still dealing with my original issue, which is the noise caused by the AC compressor. And I have to ride around with a humming in my car for the next 24,000 miles before I can fix the new issue of the blower motor that I didn’t even need in the first place. This is by far the most frustrating experience I’ve ever had with a mechanic. If you are like me, and need a mechanic that you can trust, do not go to this Goodyear. They will take advantage of you.
Great employees and pricing. tires are tires lets be real about that. its the people that count
Worst service ever! I came in for an oil change and they broke the plug to my oil pan and told me to either pay $850 to fix it or have it towed home. I had it towed because I refused to pay for their mistake. My uncle who is a mechanic of 30+ years fixed it in 20 minutes with an $8.00 part. They tried to get over because Im a woman. I will never go back.
This place is great. They do what they promise at the price they promised.
Not only do they plug a tire free of charge they also filled the rest of the tires up with air just because they could. I would definitely go back.
Drop my car off in the morning and its always ready by lunch. Never had any service problems.
Good people but I think some of there prices are to high but you get out fast
Dont be a fool, dont go here. If I could rate them lower I would. They charged over $150 to replace the bulbs in my girlfriends car because the bumper HAD to come off and that was labor intensive. We should have known better but its a foreign car and it had to be done. Jamie, the manager, showed pictures of his little girls and swore he wouldnt rip us off because he wouldnt want anyone doing that to his girls. Well, thats a lie. i found a mobile mechanic who changed them for $25 the next time they went out! And they went out so soon because Crapyear didnt replace all the bulbs like we requested, just the burnt one, so we would have to come back and replace the others at the same ridiculous rate because it was SO labor intensive. It wasnt just the headlight issue I experienced here, and I confronted them about another Issue relating to a misplaced hose, but it was just my word against theirs and i finally gave up and just vowed not to come back. If you go here, be prepared to flush your money down the toilet and have continuing car problems.
Great service. Feel like they are looking out for me.
They told me I needed a new transmission for my car and find out I went on Google and it told me to adjust my clutch cable in my car works fine
I reserved an oil change appointment at 9:00 am and I didnt leave until 1:00 pm. It wasnt busy at all and then they told me that to replace my AC pump it was going to be $1200 for parts and labor. And I found the parts for $300. Not the only time I waited for and oil change it seems like everytime I go they never have an sense of urgency.
I dont think they will be honest. I had something wrong with my car and it completely shut off. They added all this stuff that They thought was wrong. All together it would be around $700.00 and the Supervisor said he even gave me a discount on some things. I told him I couldnt do all that and couldnt afford to get all that done that day so it pointed out the most important things to do that day which came out to $350.00. They had my car for 2 days and when I pick it up it was working when I pulled off and when I got down Old Statesville Rd. It shut completely off again no warning nothing. I called them back and told them. They called a tow to pick up my car and said it would be on them. The tow guy said look under your car. You gas is just pouring out of your car. When we got back to Goodyear the tow guy was telling the Supervisor about under my car. I wasnt happy. He said he dont know how that happen but the snap came loose and it was fixed. But when I left. I just didnt filled like my car was back to they way it use to be. I drove it and it shut off driving 2 more times but instantly started up. I took it back there and the Supervisor insisted my car was fine. Well on my way to pick up my son from school my car stop again and it being all powered everything locks up. Good thing I was up the street from my house and not on a busy road. I called GM thinking maybe I had a recall on my car. Something was wrong where it would shut off and not give me warning. Which it comes on the screen if I needed to change oil, tires low etc. GM told me not to take it back to Goodyear but to Randy Marion who specializes in GM cars. I had it towed to them and the supervisor who was awesome checked everything on my car and called me back and said it was your computer control module and he checked everything else and said once that is up and running they will check everything else to see if anything else was wrong with the car. They also ordered the part from a store I wanted since GM part was a good $400.00 and Auto Zone was $125.00. He had it picked up for me and put and in and was done. Once that was fixed my car started instantly and he was able to check everything else and nothing else was wrong with my car. He kept it with him and started it everyday until I could pick it up. I hadnt had a problem with it since. So the other $350.00 in work repairs that Goodyear said I had to get done to the car, I really didnt have to those problems didnt exist. I had been taking my car to Randy Marion for oil changes now. Even though I live walking distance from Goodyear I dont think I could trust them to tell me the truth or they dont have the proper equipment to diagnose my car. I couldnt even go for an inspection or oil change.
Busted our tire his place got us up and running in 20mins,you guys are awesome.
Its the worst place I have been to. Terrible attitude, not professional at all. All they want is money. Be careful when you drop you car here, they will try their best to tell you that your car has a lot of problems and charge you more.
Great service and high quality staff.
I came here to get my truck inspected in the new year. It failed due to an engine light, but after a $100 dollar diagnostic they told me it was a CAT converter replacement and quoted me $1000. I left with my failed inspection, but considering I was 70 dollars away from the waiver I decided to go for that. I spent $70 dollars on 02 sensors (to get the 200 required) and came back to get it failed again, which is a requirement of the waiver. The guy wouldnt put the o2 sensor in, and then made me wait an hour just to get it failed... BUT THEN THE STICKER wouldnt print out. I came back a 5th time (I keep coming back to get the free failure on the inspection) and waited so long that I couldnt go to the DMV to get the waiver which was only open 8 - 10.Once I leave this place today, I hope to god I wont ever have to come back.
Great service was in and out Billy was very helpful
I have been taking my cars to them for years and the service is always great!
Excellent service and no long wait time.
My boat trailer blew a tire on the highway,i called and they ordered the tire i needed and had it there when i arrived, saved my weekend. Super friendly staff.
Stay away! They dont care about your car just your money. They allowed my brake assembly to hang by the brake hose. They dont torque any bolts properly; just impact em down. I checked my axle nut a few days after having them replace a wheel bearing and their couldnt have been more than 70-80ft-lbs on it (spec is 140). Maybe theyre hoping the bearing will fail so I can have them do it again. While in the waiting area I heard them quote some lady $95 just to check an engine light....you can have those checked for free at any autoparts stores. This is just highway robbery and taking advantage of people that dont know better.
Prompt service to check tire and alignment
Very please with service definitely will go back
They were friendly and helpful. Dont be too quick to believe the ranting of some of the other reviews
Exceptional service thats rare nowadays
Tim explained everything what they where doing.Everyone was awesome
It was a quick service and they were courteous
Awful customer service, barely wants to accept service of vehicle. Complained about how he only have two workers with multiple orders. He has the worst reception ever. Told me one thing on the phone, less than ten minutes when I walk in he tells me something totally different. This site really deserves zero stars.
Been going to them since i was 16 and I’m 23 now they know me by name lol trust them and usually have you in and out! I don’t go to anyone else! Thanks Jamie!
Great experience and great service
These guys are quick and trustworthy.
Used a coupon for an oil change, it says my vehicle required 7 qts of oil. They charged more. Receipt showed that it only takes 5. Felt ripped off.
Walk in service, fair pricing, and skilled techs.
I was in a jam... traveling from out of town! They squeezed me in and got me back on the road.
Excellent service as usual
Great customer service.
They did what they said they would.
