I went for an oil change, which was very cost friendly compared to other places in the area, and it was done in no more than 5 minutes. Friendly staff and nice clean workplace.

I had just moved to NC when my cars dashboard lit up. I went to Gibbons immediately after looking over their great reviews and ratings. It lived up to it as their customer service was amazing and they got my car done as fast as they could, even shopping around till they found me a cheaper piece. While waiting I was even able to say hi to their adorable allergen free poodle, so cute.

My car dealer was charging a lot for a fan repair so I searched for a less expensive option. Found this place and they offered a much better deal and fixed my car faster than I was originally told! Gave me the price, got the parts, and fixed my car all in 2 hours. Very friendly people and there was a puppy! My AC works even better than before, amazing service!

He was so kind and professional, made good recommendations and helped me prioritize which work to do before the trip and what to do after. I contacted the shop via repair pal app on a Tuesday after 8:30pm to schedule an appointment the following day at 8am. Todd quickly replied back stating they would be happy to help and they would see me in the morning. They were very informative and actively communicated via text with links that provided the diagnostics of my Jeep that were very easy to read and understand. They had my 2014 Jeep done by 3pm same day after completing several repairs such as replacing both speed sensors, tire rotation and alignment, spark plug replacement, fuel injection cleanse, and air conditioning cleanse and charge. My Jeep runs better than ever now!!! I highly recommend Gibbons and will be using them from now on for my auto repair and maintenance needs.

I had a positive experience as I had air condition service. The service was done timely and professionally. of course a little pricey but considering 90 degree heat it was worth it.

I just popped in to see if I could get an oil change & inspection. They were busy @ the moment but ask if I could come back in an hour & they would assist me with my needs. I return after an hour & they took my vehicle right back. They sent me a text to let me know other thinks that I needed to keep an eye out for. I will return to this business for future car needs & maintenance. Very professional!

I met with the owner Todd, who discussed the details of my repairs GDI service. He gave me pointers on how to keep my car running in tip top shape. The company offers 2 free towing in a 12 month period, which I thought was nice. Overall a painless experience. My car is running smoothly.

I went in for an alignment after buying tires because my car was pulling to the left. The service was quick, efficient, and they fixed my car! My car drives perfectly straight now and it was under $100! I strongly recommend their alignment service! Ill be going back for any future car repairs!

I’ve been here in Charlotte for about three years now, and I’ve been looking for a maintenance shop for my old vehicle, do you know someone I can trust who does good maintenance who is reasonably priced. Well now I think I found them and that’s Gibbon Tire & Auto.I am a real customer and I’m not gonna sit here and tell you that they are the cheapest people around because you get what you pay for. I can most definitely tell you that they are not the most expensive people. As you walk into the shop you can tell that is very professional but not to the point where you think you have to walk on egg shells. They make you feel at home and you don’t get that too many places. I had my shocks replaced and have to get a few other things done and will most definitely be back.

Was going to an appointment and got a flat tire. Called Gibbon tire and auto down the road to see if they can get a tire to put on for me. They went and got one and put it on soon as I got there. Was in and out.

I asked for a tire plug and alignment. They took the tire off and told me they could not repair due to not being able to see nail. Took it right around the corner and they fixed it. Called the owner and he told me the dont plug they only patch. Why wouldnt the tech tell me that? Charged me 20 bucks for a repair they couldnt do. Gave me the wrong print out of my alignment In which question they even did it. Bad business!

Very convenient! I called the day of and they were able to tow my car from my house to the shop. I got 2 new tires and an oil change and everything was done in a very timely manner. Customer service was amazing! I’ll be bringing my car here for everything from now on.

Shop is a reffered vendor with Carmax Care warranty service. Even though my warranty did not cover the service I needed, they took great care of me and car. Walked me through the entire process and very impressed with their tech communication (I was able to see pictures of car diagnostic through text). Professional, fast, relaxed and down to earth atmosphere and team. I even went back for alignment and now my only car-care shop.

I initially went to get air in my tire and without hesitation Nick put air in my tire and noticed a leak. I had just left a tire shop in Cornelius NC an hour or so before arriving a Gibbons Tire & Auto. I’m thankful for Nick plugging my tire right before closing when other places wanted me to drop my vehicle off because they were booked.

I visited Gibbon’s on a Friday morning for a simple tire purchase, a task that has only taken about 30 minutes to an hour max at any other shop in Charlotte. Let’s just say I spent about 4 hours to get this completed, due to the owner not being upfront about his tire machine not working. I missed an important meeting because they had to take my tire, along with other customers tires to a “friends shop” across town to use their machine. This is completely unprofessional and had he been honest and upfront I could have went elsewhere and had this done and 4 hours of my day would not have been wasted.***Update to your response below which is full of lies:You didn’t tell me about your tire machine being down until after I had already waited hours. I came back to your shop an HOUR later like you told me to do because you had to wait for the tire to be delivered. You are a LIAR and a very bad one! I don’t even know how you’re still in business! What a reprieve from the average. This place is absolutely amazing. From start to finish they truly made my time here nothing short of enjoyable. The front office of this place is spotless. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing. The pricing the work and the customer service that I have experienced here, is unbelievable. Todd the owner was forthright about everything while promising nothing that he and his technicians could not deliver. The work that I had done included tire replacement and an alignment in my first visit. The second visit included a state inspection and an oil change. And on both visits the work performed was neat clean and done to the letter.

Awesome place for your car repairs! Ive had the etc (electronic throttle control) as my car went into limp mode(never heard of that). Front and rear brakes, wheel alignment and after my next and last free oil change with the car dealer, Ill be getting my oil changes here. Great people and minimum wait time.

Todd is amazing. Very knowledgeable and personable. He knows how to make clients understand what is wrong with their vehicle. He also demonstrates great integrity in giving affordable options to costly repairs. I am especially impressed with his use of technology. When you receive service, you get a full repair report for future use as well pictures of the work that needs to be done and pictures after the work has been completed. I usually think of auto repair shops as shady, but Todd and Gibbon auto are great. I have referred several people and will continue to do so.

Went in for a small leak. Quoted $700. Turned into two leaks for another hundred plus. One day after picking up vehicle, suspension fault light comes on and vehicle bounces all over the place which was not experiencing before. Now a week later, there’s another leak for $1200!! I truly believe they triggered something which has caused all these other problems. Also, seen $$ with the type of vehicle I was driving. I’m so disappointed and frustrated after giving up hundreds of dollars and still can’t drive my vehicle. #ripoff

This man was trying to get as much as he could from an 88 year old woman on social security. Oh, all the spark plugs needed to be changed. The coils and some kind of gasket. All to the tune of 800 and some odd dollars. He did plug in something that had come unplugged and that was all that was wrong with it. I took it to someone honest and he told me he wouldnt fix something that didnt need it. I would think twice before taking my car here. Oh and he actually bragged that it didnt cost him nothing to get his car fixed.

DO YOU RESEARCH FIRST! Call around before going to this place!Wonder if all the 5 stars are actually valid and honest. Dont get me wrong they are fairly nice but thats how they get you. Had a flat and was stuck on the side of the road spoke directly to the mechanic for price for a new tire 115 not bad right. But as soon as I was about to pay Tod said it was 320! For a tire change? Never and I mean Im never coming back here again.
