These peoples are real mechanics. For me they just fixed what it need, no extra push business with customer. I really liked it.

I have been coming here for awhile. The guys are very friendly, professional and honest. They always talk to me respectfully even though I do not know alot about cars they explain things intelligently so I understand but do not make me feel dumb. I always recommend them to friends.

Some of the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Raymond and Joseph who work at the front desk are extremely rude, condescending and dismissive. They don’t disclose full details of fees of service prior to the service being done, so expect to be hit with lots of hidden fees. They also do very poor quality work. I will never go back to this shop and I’d warn others to stay away as well.

Worst experience. Disrespectful staff,someone verbally attacked my father, an elder for requesting a service that was already paid for. Total lack of professionalism and work ethic. This person literally yelled at him for complaining of not being treated with respect. Sadly another of many abusive behavior towards people because of their race.

Excellent service! First time I had a flat tire. Called in beforehand Joe got me in and out of the shop quickly. They did a great job and even put the spare back where it belonged. Second time, tested my battery and got me a new battery in and out in a jiffy. Will definetly be going back for other services.

Brought my car in this morning at 730am with no appointment and had it back by 1pm! The technician Joseph was so helpful and thoroughly explained my issues and kept me updated during the service while I was at work. Thank you guys, will for sure be back!

Honestly dont know how this business has a 4.6 rating. Its a small auto care shop with questionable people running the show. They gave me a call in the middle of the day, saying they didnt have enough time to fix my vehicle even when checking with them prior. There seems to be an overall lack of awareness, respect and follow up in dealing with customers. You will get very little time to pick up your vehicle as they are more worried about getting your money and going home on time than about you. They dont accept appointments and would rather use the pandemic as an excuse when something goes wrong. Please find another shop to get your vehicle fixed and pass on this place.

Best shop in Charlotte. These guys are incredibly honest and do great work. This is the only shop Ill bring my cars to and weve been doing just that for almost 8 years now. Great prices, great service, friendly staff. These guys make you feel like family and dont try to force repairs you dont need. I recommend this shop to anyone I know in the area that needs car work and no one has been let down.

I just had another excellent experience at this shop. I have been a customer here since 1998. I now live in Colorado, and when I am in town I make it a point to bring my car by. The whole team is pro at what they do, totally trustworthy, and the services are competitively priced. They cleared up the air conditioning problem after some excellent troubleshooting, and got me all set for my next road trip. Thanks again guys.

Great folks at this shop are always transparent and helpful. Fair pricing on various services and conveniently located if you work/live in the Steele Creek area.

They were quick and extremely nice. I mentioned I just moved here and he walked me through the steps to register online. I also mentioned I would like an alignment. He asked what made me think I needed one. I explained when I bought new tires they advised me to get an alignment because I had more wear on the outside. He explained that he didnt have time today to do it but would be more than happy or willing to another day, Id just have to leave my car there for a few hours. After I got my inspection, he explained to me that if it was the end of the tires life and if I didnt rotate them when I should of that that could of caused the uneven wear because he didnt think I needed an alignment done right away. He said they do free alignment checks and said I could always get that done as well. I would definitely come back again. This is a fantastic place!

Joseph is awesome! He spent extra time discussing multiple issues with my car. I feel l can trust him to be honest about what my car does and doesnt need. Highly recommend!

This place is the best shop Ive ever been to. They are upfront, honest, and actually seem to care about whether or not you would come back again.. Honest people!!! Today as I was waiting a guy walked in with a flat tire; the guy at the counter said they would put his spare on for free (the guy didnt have a jack) so he could go get a tire at a better price down the road. Just really great service and honest prices. 100% the only place I ever take my vehicle!

All I can say is WOW! My alternator light went on, and I was nowhere near home. The local Advance Auto Parts (shout out to them as well) recommended this Good Year. I did not have an appointment and on the spot they were able to take my car and in under 3 hours I had a new alternator installed, and an inspection, and I was on the road home.Great service, great staff. If I ever break down again in Charlotte I know where Im taking my car.Thank you!

Professional service and excellent communication. I have used them for several years. I still go back and have service done when I am in the area. They are less expensive compared to the AAA and Firestone shops that are in the area. Truly a great group of trustworthy guys who have your best interest in mind.

Ive been here a few time. These guys are honest and hard-working. The first time I came in I asked for an alignment. They checked out my car and were honest enough to tell me I didnt need one.Later on, I brought in my other car to have a window regulator fixed. They found the part and quoted me a price and that could have been the end of it. They then went the extra mile and found the part from another dealer for $50 cheaper. They could have easily pocketed the extra money or not bothered to check around. Very impressed with this shop!

Jason and the guys were great! Very helpful and honest. They found and diagnosed my problem, which ended up being minor even though they could have lied charged me much more.I really appreciate this place, will only go here from now on. Cant recommend place highly enough.

Ive been going here for the past 5 years and absolutely love the guys here! Joseph is fantastic and looks out for the people coming into the business. He directed me in the right direction multiple times regarding some repairs a local Chevy dealer who was overcharging for parts and labor! Ive since moved 25 mins away and still come to them to do all my vehicle maintenance and repairs for 2 cars!

At first, I thought they were an honest shop when I used them several times for service and left a nice review. However, this time, I purchased a set of new Goodyear tires and now see that I was mistaken. They are not reputable and do not care about their customers.They failed to process the 6-month, 0% interest promotion they offered me for using a Goodyear charge card. So now, when it should have been paid off, I realized that there was an additional balance of $63.34 due to interest charged. Citi Bank, that manages the Goodyear card, told me that it is up to the location to process the promotion and they did not.I spoke with Joseph, the manager of Goodyear Arowinds Tire & Auto on 1/16/19 and he said that there’s nothing he can do; that his hands are tied since he can’t get Citi Bank to process the promotion properly this late. I told the manager that I did confirm the promotional details with the cashier when deciding which payment method to use at time of purchase, as I could have paid the whole balance upfront otherwise but chose to spread it out since they offered the option.Arowinds Goodyear messed up but refuses to eat the cost of their own error and pushed it back to me. They shouldn’t offer to spread the payments out interest free if they won’t honor it. The manager is dishonest and a crook. He refused to pay the $63.34 in interest charged when I calmly offered that as a solution to rectify their mistake. I speculate that it was intentionally not processed so they didn’t have to pay financing points/fees for offering it to their customers. The BBB, news, and all of my social media networks will be hearing about this, as I warned the manager, as a last resort while offering him the opportunity to resolve the problem fairly. Poor choice, Joseph, now hopefully anyone considering Arowinds Goodyear will be able to avoid getting ripped off and this hassle.

Very slow. Took an hour and a half for a basic inspection. Was told the inspection would be done in half an hour when walked in. They just kept moving other jobs ahead of me. Several new customers came in and finished and left before they finally moved my car back and got started. Never ever coming here again!

Go here for all my car and tire needs. State inspection, tire patching, oil change. Staff is friendly, honest and always charge a fair competitive price. Recommend it for everyone.

I have been bringingu car to Arowinds for several years now. Quality all around. Joseph at front desk is outstanding - honest, personable, and willing to go the extra mile.

I LOVE this place and the employees. Mr. Sellars listed below is extremely wrong, I was there on Nov. 6th when he had a bad experience (NOT the shops fault). These guys were overly nice to this person, I am shocked that the owner did not post the video of how this person acted as a rebuttal to his review. I could not believe that someone expects a shop to NOT follow state law when inspecting a vehicle. The general manager even gave this person a $15 discount..... WOW, you sir are a putz. I am a single female, they treat me with respect and are as honest as the day is long. They show you issues if you ask and explain everything in detail. I have been ripped off by dealers and other shops, but do not think replacing burned out bulbs to be anything other than common sense.

Rude staff

I wanted to get my state inspection done so I called ahead and the guy told me to call about an hour ahead to fit me in. So I called about an hour ahead and when I show up he said it would take about 2 and a half hours before he could fit take care of the inspection. Thanks for wasting my time.

I went for an inspection... They will charge and ding you for anything they can.....I had tint from factory charged 10$ to check it...the guy in the office screamed and yelled at me. I do not!!! recommend taking your vehicle here...its crap and they will over charge and surcharge for everything and their customer service is a joke....

I just moved to southwest of Charlotte from SouthEast,and consider myself a pretty good handy man.while I was replacing front wheel brake pads, the front rotors needed resurfaced.Called around south tryon: Tuffy quoted me for 20/rotor, but here they did it for me for $10/piece, $20 for both rotors.In the meantime, the front office manager, Joseph, is very nice and taking time to explain to all my other service questions.I also notice they oil change published price is way lower than Tuffy. for e.g. Full Synthetic is $59 vs Tuffys $89.Do not get me wrong, the staff at Tuffy are very honest and nice too.I would also recommend Tuffy which is just a few miles away on South Tryon St.But they charge higher for some basic services.
