Normally I would give them a great review, but my last experience there was not good. I needed air in a tire because my tire pressure light was on. I went in and a new mechanic named Aaron took my car back. Usually, a mechanic will tell you what problem they find before taking any steps. Aaron returned saying I had a small leak and a hole from a nail. He took two pics and showed me one with bubbles coming from a small hole in my tire and another pic with a large hole from which he pulled a nail. Granted now I for sure need a new tire because he just pulled a nail out causing all the air to come out, which can’t be patched. My tire was not flat or even looked flat when I came in-only the sensor light on in my car. He tells Sherry, she needs a new tire. She pulls up a $122 tire on the computer. I came in for air now $122. How do they know if I even have money. Aaron should’ve told me I had a nail before removing it and causing me a bill that he did not know if I could even afford at that time. So the story continues. I go home to get one of my tires from an old set I had on my car. Aaron, almost happily, tells me the tire is warped. Ok. So I go home to retrieve another. Now this tire I know to has a slow leak. Miss Sherry says yeah, go get it. Thinking, slow leak can be repaired and will save me from spending $122. I bring the tire, Aaron gets it out the trunk, looks at it and heads my way ready to tell me the condition of the tire. Before he could give me his diagnosis, I tell him it has a slow leak and I need to get down the road. And that I did. He put the tire on and returned saying there wasn’t a hole in the tire, he had it pumped up and I was ready to go. I paid Sherry $30 and left. I get home fine. A little while later, my daughter and I jump in the car and back out the driveway. We hear this loud scraping noise and the car feels rough. I pull back in, jump out and the tire is completely flat! I was in disbelief. Why would you tell me the tire didn’t have a hole and now it’s flat?So my best friend’s son comes over to put on the spare. When he went to loosen the nuts, he said they were not even tight. He showed he how you could easily turn the lug nuts without putting any pressure on the handle of the jack. He said the tire could’ve easily come off while I was driving. So, I give Griffin, specifically Aaron a 0 star. He’s a new hire that should be fired. Because of him, I will not be returning to the shop. I was so hurt that I was in tears.

Other places in the area said they were too busy to get me taken care of. I was in town for work and needed to drive home over 400 miles the next day. Long story short. Im almost home to see my little boy and its because Sherry at Griffin Auto and Tire made it happen when other places couldnt and wouldnt.

I love going here to get my car taken care of because everyone is so nice and informative! It definitely helps a lot with the anxiety that can come with taking your car in for repairs. Thank y’all for the great work!

I have been doing business with this establishment for the last 6 years and I wouldn’t think of buying my tires any other place. First of all I love the mgr. Sherry who will take care of your needs and not over charge you with upgrades. I love the fact that she makes recommendations and you can trust her and it carries over to her employees.

Great place..nice people. Just charged a bit to much for one coil and spark plug replacement. Everything else was fine.

The beauty about the place is the fact they got a smart TV when Netflix, Hulu, Youtube, ect., to get you nice and comfortable but thats practically the only positive. For something minor the wait time is about 20-25 minutes but if you need say a new tire they most likely dont have it on site and you gotta wait til someone comes by and brings some. If they cant fix whatever problem you came for dont worry theyll still check your tires so that you dont leave the door without paying them something.

As a female it’s hard to sometimes trust that your getting an honest opinion about your vehicle and the repairs that it may or may not need. Even though both visits to this location were only to get an oil change and inspection I know that if I have any more serious concerns about my car, I can trust them. There honest, caring and friendly. The guys in the office and the mechanic Ty were great!! I’ll definitely be going back!

Had a huge screw in the sidewall of my tire. They got me in on a Saturday morning and replace the tire. They had to send someone to pick up a new tire and put it on. They had it done as quick as physically possible. I was very pleased. Great people!!

My mom & I have been dealing with Griffin for about 4-5 years now. The WORK THEY DO IS GREAT NO COMPLAINTS THERE AT ALLHOWEVER.......Over time the customer service rating in our opinion has gone down & continues to go down. Over TWO HOURS for an oil change is unacceptable especially when there are 5 mechanics and only two cars (including mine) Waiting to be serviced. The least they can do is let customers know who are coming in for an oil change it will be more than 45mins-1hour and let the customer decide if they want to wait or come another time . Thank you for your great work Griffin but you have lost me and my mom as customers due to your lack of customer service.With that being said.........If you are pushed for time this is not a place to go . But if you just want your work done right and have time for them to keep your vehicle double or triple the time it SHOULD take to complete a job Griffin is perfect for you !

Went in for a simple inspection for my wifes journey (horrible car I would never recommend) They were friendly and knowledgeable recommending services with then as well as alternatives. I will be returning to them to have the services fine if I choose to keep this car which I highly doubt. (It really is that bad)

Excellent as always! Been a customer for over 10 years. Today was a tire repair. Have used them for inspection, tires, a/c, oil changes, window regulator, etc.

Took a friends mustang in for diagnostics involving the starting system. Originally we were told the alternator was bad so a re-manufactored alternator was ordered. Received a call later that a fuse was also blown and the cause could of come from a short possibly from not jump starting the car properly from AAA. Long story short under further research, the 200 amp fuse was replaced and the original alternator was placed back and charged at 100%. This is honesty at the highest level that the car did not need a new alternator. Cost savings of probably $500+. This is how a car business gets repeat work. Reputation means Everything!!! Thanks again to Sherry and Brice for their honesty.

Belmont store took 5 hours to do a lube and tire balance and they still did not do state inspection.High priced. Best oil job almost $90 cheapest $39.Same quality as a Walmart.Would not go back

I’ve been coming to this place for years and the last two (final) times were horrible. They kept my car two nights the first time and I wrote that off since it had never happened before. This time I asked to get a new battery installed and they said they would check it first, well I needed a new battery and they still charged me $100 for the testing fee. Then it took almost two full days to put the new battery in, and I bet it would have been longer if I hadn’t been calling them. Told me it would be ready in 20 minutes and when I got there 20 minutes later they hadn’t even started! 28 hours to replace a battery. I don’t know what’s happened here, but they used to be great, now they suck. Not even an apology for misleading me on the amount of time this would take or having to go 24 hits without a vehicle.

We were out of town for a doctor visits and ran into some problems and they blessed us.

Based on a referral to mechanic Brice as someone who knew brake systems on a 28 year old car, I went there. Brice test drove car with me...came back and put car on lift. He found problem (actually showed me). They gave me estimate; time to repair and had part delivered to them. Gave me a ride to eat lunch nearby and finished in 2+ hours. All went smoothly as far as I am concerned. I will go back for future service when needed.

Thank you too sherry and Brice...took my ford mustang ...they could have really COSTme more money...but put new ALTERNATOR on...found it didnt need it...so took back off...the honesty floors me....not the first time dealing with MISSsherry or Brice.sure wont be my last...thank you again
