The pictures really don’t give any justice to the work that was done. These are screenshots of the video. They did an amazing job!! It took less time than expected and very reasonably price. Did I say how freaking AMAZING my windshield looks??!! It actually looks better than my original windshield. I would definitely recommend!

I just want to give a special shout out to Mike! Mike came by to replace my windshield after a tree fell on it. After taking a look he told me that he would recommend me not getting the windshield replaced before I got the body work done on my car. I had scheduled the window repair first because it was going to take 3 weeks to get my car in at the body shop. Mike reassured me that it was safe to drive with the windshield cracked and that hed be happy to replace it after the bodywork was done. His biggest fear was that the body work would end up cracking the windshield again based on where the damage was. I thought it was so kind of Mike to give me honest advice. He could have just as easily replaced and charged me for the windshield, costume me more money in the long run if I needed to replace it a second time. Great customer service, honest company, and quick to schedule.

This is in regard to the service we have received from the 5031 West WT Harris Blvd location, in Charlotte NC. Several weeks ago, my wifes car had a cracked windshield, and scheduled a replacement through Safelite. The windshield was replaced, but the next day, the rear view mirror fell out of the mounting bracket. She took the car to safelite, and they told her the bracket was installed upside down, and they had to order a replacement bracket. Several weeks go by, and nobody called her with a status or to schedule repair. I sent a complaint through the safelite website, asking for help. Finally someone did call, and said they still had not received the part, which is hard to believe. Two more weeks go by, and finally we receive an email notice that someone would be coming to the house yesterday, between 8am and 5pm to make the repair. Nobody called to make sure we would be home, or if that was a convenient time for us. Given the fact we have been waiting so long, we decided to change our plans and wait for the technician. We waited all day, then the technician came and made the repair in the driveway. This morning, Kim went out to her car and the mirror fell off again! Incredible. Also in the pictures attached, you will see what a filthy mess that the technician left in my wife’s car.I tried to call the branch and speak to the manager, but your company phone tree does not allow that. So I decided to take the car to the Lexus dealership and have them re-install the mirror properly.We are so disappointed in the service described above, we will never use Safelite again. I figured we should warn others.

Safelite ruined my car. If I could give 0 stars I would. First, in Utah, they installed my windshield incorrectly and left a gap. When driving across the country, my car flooded on the inside and caused extreme water damage. Now in Charlotte, they were extremely hard to get a hold of. The tech was nice when he came to fix my windshield. The only issue is when they went to reinstall the windshield, it poured rain and now my car battery is dead. They messed up my electrics, I can’t get into my car, and I have water damage. To top it all off, their customer “support” is AWFUL. They are impossible to get in contact with on the phone, rude over text, and are appalling to work with. I wish I had never gone here in the first place. I’m so overwhelmed and this has caused me nothing good.

Scheduling a service in advance would be recommended. The people working here are very polite.Took the car in to have some chips in the windshield fixed. The technician took the time to explain the pros and cons of that procedure.This facility has a good size waiting room with clean restroom, bottled water, Keurig coffee maker.

I was only able to make contact by 800 number and unable to make contact with the on-site to take my window to have the replace and no one never initiated a call back to direct me to the nearest location I was taking my own truck theyre to be repaired had to pay out of pocket which I do appreciate the offering of a 25% off but what good does it do when you dont complete satisfying offering the customer what theyre calling for Im very unhappy about that

Updated: Andrew came out and fixed the error and did an excellent job repairing the issue that the technician failed to.The good- the staff and front desk is very friendly. The waiting room is very clean. Everyone I spoke with has been very nice. Andrea was very good through the communication process.The bad- my truck got repaired and when I got home to evaluate the job, I found that they didn’t completely re-place my trim inside the back. Looking I see pieces that were not put back. I replaced them at home myself. The technician informed me that I would need to vacuum more of the glass out myself. He claimed a “crappy vacuum” but I would argue based off the repair that he was sloppy on the repair.Overall I probably would go to another satélite repair center. I do want to thank Andrea west for being good in the communication process and offering to have the repair fixed, but time is money.

My Jeeps windshield sustained a hit from a rock on the highway, leaving a star right near the drivers side. Knowing it would eventually form into a crack, I scheduled an appointment online and brought the vehicle in for repair. The staff at this location were very professional. I wasnt sure if my insurance would cover this repair, so the lady at the desk made a couple of phone calls and the repair was covered 100%. Speaking of the repair itself, looking at the windshield, you wouldnt ever know there was any damage to it. Highly recommend.

Wonderful location. Our truck was broken into at our hotel and our window was completely smashed. Safelite got us in ASAP, they did an excellent job cleaning the glass, and were extremely quick. Also when we arrived at the shop, we had our toddler with us who was napping, and they let us wait in a private office so he could have a quiet place to nap. Customer service was above and beyond!

Whatever third party company you are using to set up your appointments is causing you to lose business. So I had my insurance company set up to have my windshield replaced. I was told by third party company that I would have to take my car to this location and wait for 3 hours because it needed to be calibrated at their site. I set the appointment and received a confirmation email from Safelite, but thinking about having to waste 3 hours of my Saturday just to have a windshield replaced wasnt sitting good with me. The next day, I called the third party company to see if they could just come out and repair the windshield on site and they couldnt even find my appointment in their system. I just canceled the appointment from the email I had received and called my insurance company back to get someone else to do the work. Your competitor was able to come to my location and change the windshield AND calibrate the windshield right there in about ONE hour. I will never use Safelite. Your competition took a potential customer. Thank your third party company who has absolutely no idea what they are doing.

These guys were great. Took care of my car, while dealing with a difficult to remove windshield (at one point, five guys were working on it at once). A difficult to find generic part was upgraded to OEM at cost. Jose did a good job of explaining the warranty after the service was complete. Really satisfied.

Today while driving on Back Creek Church Road, a company van tailgated me and my husband while we were driving 37 miles per hour in a 35 speed limit with 4 other cars in front of us. This company’s van got so close to us that I almost called the police to report the reckless driving, especially when the van crossed the yellow line several times in an attempt to intimidate us into speeding up... into... what, I’m not sure, since we were merely driving behind other vehicles IN THE RAIN, ALSO following the speed limit. This is how we learned about your business, out of fear for our safety and contemplating whether we should record the incident and call the police and file an incident report. Rest assured, as a regular driver on this road, if this unprofessional behavior ever happens again, as 2 attorneys not willing to be run off the road by your employee having a bad day, that is EXACTLY what we will do.

I had to have my windshield replaced twice here, because the first installation was done incorrectly. The third time around I took my vehicle to the local dealership and two days later they told me they had to wait on Safelite due to the warranty. Safelite told them they would be there that day. Nobody showed. We called the next day and they said they would be there by 12. 1:30, nobody is there yet. I call Safelite and the lady I spoke with first was amazing! She transferred me to executive services and I was then disconnected from that woman. I call again, this lady was rather rude, she transferred me and I was disconnected once again. I call a third time and nobody answers. I call a fourth time and FINALLY get a hold of someone, once again. Before I could even finish my sentence she interrupts me rudely to say that their phone lines have been having issues. Okay, understandable. I asked why couldnt anyone call me back and apparently they cant make calls out. I asked to speak with a manager and ironically the manager is out on a job. Apparently, the job to fix my windshield. She said they had been there for a while. However, when I called the location of where my vehicle was no one had shown up yet. She was very rude and her tone was not appropriate for the customer service field. They definitely need to step it up. I should not be having the SAME windshield fixed for the third time! I also should not have to spend an hour trying to reach someone about my vehicle.

To be precise, I scheduled a windshield repair, the tech showed up on time within the 4-hour window provided, and was very polite. So far so good. After introducing himself, seemed to be ready to work on my windshield, but then he looked down at his phone and said that hed just been called to another job, and he couldnt stay to do mine; sorry, but someone else will be by later on.I didnt think that Id been treated well, and called to cancel the next visit. So, technically, I did not have work done by Safelite. But I did try to.

I would not recommend this company at all. First, they charged me $1,000 more than everyone else to replace a windshield. Second, when I called to speak to someone at the store about it, you just keep getting sent to a call center and then get hung up on unless you want to schedule an appointment. What i thought was a great experience turned out to be a terrible one. ΧWent in for windshield replacement and Ned windshield wipers on Christmas Eve. They closed at about 2pm and i had an 8am appointment. I went there and dropped my car off. I was so surprised when 3 hours later they called to say they finished everything - new windshield, new wipers, and recalibrated the windshield. I’m thinking wow.... they’re awesome! When i got the car back, i didn’t check the wipers because i didn’t use them, and i did notice my HUD was a little off but i wrote it off as my eyesight getting worse. Well 2 days ago we finally got some real rain that i needed to use new wipers for - found out i still have the old ones!! Called Safelite and they told me to come back in, and not only that, but they also need to recalibrate my windshield. Wth! So they knew they didn’t complete the work, but called me to take my car home? They never told me to come back. Worst experience ever. How can you take $500+ from a customer and not do the full work. I will never recommend nor be back.

Had a confirmed appointment with Safelite to I stall a new windshield in my 1987 Dodge truck. Everything was confirmed for I stall today. I received a call first thing this morning from Safelite starting they did now have the windshield glass and could not get it. I understand that some older vehicle parts may not be available, but why wait until the scheduled day of I stall to tell me the windshield glass is not available?? I asked that question and the rep said since I scheduled on line they cannot confirm parts and that they had so many orders that it takes time to check.This makes no sense. This company is very large and I thought experienced with their service and products. Why didnt someone contact me at the time of scheduling or at least have this built into their scheduling system to say sorry, but we dont have the requested parts. This is very poor customer service for a company this large.Now, I have to come up with another solution for my truck. I had even removed to old windshield in preparation for the new Safelite windshield install.I would highly recommend to anyone needing a new windshield, to call directly and ask if they even have the parts available.I have used Safelite previously and had good experiences with them. That is why I went to them this time. I will think long and hard before using Safelite again or even recommending to anyone.

This was the best decision i made. They were fast and the job was very well done. Only thing I did not like was that I was not greeted by my installer and explained what was going to happen. (All the other people coming in was greeted by their installer) Though that wasnt enough for me to take away from the service provided. Had a mobile service come to my home to replace a windshield on my 2007 4runner. The top weather strip in entirely too small for the space and looks terrible. Glue is seeping from the strip on to the glass every time it rains leaving a terrible streak in your line of sight. I attempted to reach out to Safelite multiple times on their website but to no avail. Take your money and disappear. Better off paying a little more for a body shop to take care of it.

Rude staff and absolutely zero customer service. I dropped my car off to get the windshield replaced and camera recalibrated $721 in total. The woman at the front desk was curt and seemed annoyed when I checked in. No hello. No good morning. Absolutely no greeting.I was told I would receive a call and text when the service was completed which would take approximately 2-3 hrs. 6hrs later I called safelite. After a 20 minute hold I encountered another rude woman. She told me my vehicle was ready for pick up.I go to collect my vehicle. There are 4 customers sitting in the waiting area. The woman at the front desk (from that morning) tells me with zero discretion Your card was declined. I look at her in disbelief and tell her thats not possible. I give her the same card, she enters the numbers and it goes through. She doesnt apologize. Doesnt say oh I must have entered the numbers wrong or put the wrong zip code. Nothing.I collect my receipt and get out dodge hoping I never have to patronize this place again. 1 star for being able to schedule an appointment the next day.

Unfortunately, I had to spend time here twice in one year. First time, they fixed a crack. Service was fine, and they were able to get me in and out as quickly as I could have hoped. But the second time, I had to have my windshield replaced. It was supposed to take an hour and a half, but they had it done in about 45 minutes and the guy was so friendly! As far as an auto-related waiting room goes, the space is clean and well-stocked with waters, magazines, and other ways to amuse yourself. Definitely makes the best of a bad situation.

I brought my car in for a windshield replacement in November 2019 to this location due to damage incurred while the vehicle was at another repair shop earlier in the year. I was happy initially with the replacement. The glass cracked in March 2020 and the damage was small enough to repair with resin. I had it repaired at the Northlake location. 2 months later I start to notice the crack is growing again. I took it to this location and they told me there was nothing they could do for me and the tech mentioned that the windshield was not installed properly and that the gap at the top was too large and it should have been sitting flush. The tech said that the windshield was not properly installed at this same location a few months prior in November. Its unbelievable that they will admit to improper installation and still tell me there is nothing they can do for me.

First attempt, the glass was “damaged” and had to cancel my installation appointment. Second attempt, the technician didn’t feel comfortable installing with it so hot out, but mainly because they did not send him with a second technician to help him. Not his fault, he was super nice (Chad). Third time, I had to bring the vehicle to the location 35mins away to finally get the glass repaired. Scratches found on the hood cowl and the molding isn’t flush to the window and tape wasnt placed to help hold it down. I had to do that myself. This was for a 2007 FJ Cruiser.

Tried to charge me 700 to replace a rear driver side window and couldnt take me till next week. Absolutley outrageous. Took it to the city view glass shop off freedom drive and charged me 150 for the same repair and had it done in an hour. Safelite is a rip off. The lady at the second shop was shocked at how much they were offering since they get the glass from the same exact distributor as safelite

In short, I had 3 appointments cancelled or moved by Safelite over the course of 2 weeks. The first time because I should have requested OEM glass because my car was nearly brand new. The second time because the part hadnt come in yet, and the third time because THEY HAD ORDERED THE WRONG PART. After that third cancelled appointment, I was told it would take 5-7 more business days to get the correct part, and then I could schedule a new appointment, likely 2-3 days after the part comes in. I did not bother, and took my car elsewhere. I highly advise you to do the same.

My husband and I had a tech come to fix a chip in each of our windshields. She attempted to fix my husband’s first. When she was finished, The chip looked exactly the same as it started- nothing was repaired. She claimed not all chips can be fixed.Then she went on to attempt to fix my windshield chip. She cracked it even more. She claimed it was because it was so hot outside and that since the resin is on the windshield it won’t crack any further- that is a flat out lie. It will crack further because there is no way the resin covers the entire crack.This tech admitted to being new. She had no idea what she was doing.I’ve had several chips fixed over the years and never had an issue.When I called Safelite, the local shop claimed that “not all window chips can be repaired and that the commercial is a lie.” She said there is nothing they can do to fix the windshield now that resin has been applied and she can credit the money we have paid toward a total windshield replacement. I told her if we need a replacement it will not be done with them.She said she would refund us, but that does not make up for the further damage that has been done by their tech.There is no way both of our windshields were not able to be fixed. The more likely case is that we were sent an incompetent technician.

Although this location was a bit far from my house, they did a nice job of replacing my damaged windshield. Everyone was very courteous and the entire job was completed in less than 1 hour. I was most impressed with Brandon who is the technician that did the work. Not only did he replace my windshield, he also adjusted my wiper blades to make sure they were wiping the entire windshield and resolved an issue that had been somewhat frustrating for me. He also told me how he did it and how to reset the wiper blades if it ever happens again in the future. Great service!

Ive done business with Carolina Auto Glass now for many years, however recently they were sold to Safelite Autoglass. Today will be the last day I use their services. There customer service is terrible, and nobody ever picks up the phone. I asked to speak to their commercial credit department and they gave me an email address that doesnt work. I asked if there was another way to speak with someone and theyre response was no. Nobody offered to help me with my concerns. Clearly they dont value their commercial customers. I see now why all the original people from Carolina Auto left when Safelite took over.

Great experience with a rock chip repair. My car insurance carrier suggested Safelite to me. When I tried to get an on-line quote I was shocked to see how high price was. When I called to get more information the lady I spoke with informed me that that Id get a discount just because my car insurance is through State Farm even though I wasnt filing a claim. The discount made it one of the lowest prices I was quoted on. They were also able to schedule me for a same day appointment. The repair was super quick. They said it would take 30 minutes and it probably wasnt even that long. The best part is that the repair was so well done I almost cant tell where the chip was. Ill definitely use them again if Im in need or a repair.

I originally had a mobile appointment with Safelite to have my windshield replaced, but as soon as the technician arrived it started storming. We rescheduled and I took my vehicle in to the Carrier Dr. location. The entire staff was courteous and friendly. They provided free drinks, snacks and Wi-fi while I waited and kept me up-to-date throughout the process. All of my windows were cleaned and my front floorboards were vacuumed. Safelite made a frustrating experience very pleasurable.

The staff was very efficient, professional and knowledgeable. The technician helped me navigate the insurance process so that I did not have to pay out of pocket, which I did not know was an option. Thank you, Safelite! Highly recommended.

Passing thru town while driving to Florida while at my hotel,two windows were broke out, I stayed an extra day to get windows fixed by safelite, i show up at my late appointment time and they ordered the glass wrong and said it would be another 5 days to get the glass, they even broke my front window more, this was completely unprofessional and they didnt even seem to care they cost me a day and i still have no windows ......

Very disappointed in our repair. We had to change the driver side door window. The window goes up and down very slow and makes a lot of noise, the window was great before it was repaired. (car is a 2018 Jeep, so fairly new). I would highly recommend using your dealership and paying for better quality of service. Note: this was not a one off thing, my neighbor also had the same issue and she called Safelite and her window is doing the same (I believe she had a different repairman from safelite too), she ended up getting it fixed again by her dealer. Dont waste your money on Safelite if youre window is motorized.

Horrible customer service - will not be using this company. We had an appt scheduled, with a window of 12:00-5:00- clearly the majority of our Saturday. We received a confirmation email with our technician’s name. The confirmation instructed us to call the local # in the event our technician did not show up. We did call that number and were on hold for an hour - LITERALLY - we called the national number from another phone - again - on hold for a ridiculous amount of time before we decided to hang up so as not to waste our Saturday night - after having wasted our day waiting for the technician who never showed up.
