Do yourself a favor - DO NOT believe all the negative reviews! Im a local google reviewer and had an excellent experience with Sterling Paint & Body.Throughout the process the office manager Toni kept me up to date with my repairs and the company owner even came out for the final inspection of the repaired vehicle and thanked me for my business.I would have no problem sending my mom or brother there for repairs. Awesome Job!

Held my car for 4 weeks for nothing, lied to get me to use his shop the staff lies the owner lies I was giving 3 different names 1southeast auto appraisers, 2 collision warehouse, 3 sterling Paint and body well I wasnt really given the third name I had to find that out myself, this place is a scam dont go here

This company is a racquet! They troll police reports and call you and make you believe they are calling with the insurance company. And Promise things they cannot produce. They meet you outside and make you believe they have your best interests. Then you sign some papers (outside) and they take your car. When I tried to call the next day nobody would answer. If you get mad and tell them you want to come and get your car and handle it yourself they tell you if you do you have to pay storage fees and administrative fees! I am so sick! This company should be put out of business.

My car was fixed it drove and looked very good. The service was great and they helped me with everything I would recommend this business.

The questionable practices of this body shop, of which I was also a victim of, are under investigation by the NC Attorney General. Please file a complaint with the Better Business Brureau and help their case as I did. Employees of this body shop presented themselves as representatives of insurance companies then charge you compounding fees to get your car back. Be VERY weary as they do in fact go through public police reports and prey on victims.

Stay away from this place!!! Originally I was going to take my car to ABRA Auto Repair but this placed called me before hand and misled me to believe that they were recommended by the insurance. Which they were not and was ambulance chasing me.(finding crash/police report to locate the customers) When I got there the owner seemed nice and handed me $40 cash for a car rental which seemed weird and recommended that I only go to Hertz. So I go to Hertz, they didnt even have a car for me so I had to go to Enterprise. Luckily I did b/c Enterprise told me they no longer do busy with this auto repair business due to past customer complaint, illegal business practice, and over charging. (I assume this was the reason why the owner gave me cash for the rental as they are tied in with the rental) Immediately I knew my gut instinct was right and Enterprise had validated it. I immediately go back to Sterling Paint and body to get my car out which had not been there for 16 hours and the owner told me that I could not unless I paid $600 to release it. I was furious and the owner smugly smiled and said I signed the paper and said Cmon just let us fix it and you dont have to pay the $600 I took the hit and paid it to get my car the hell out of there. I hope this review helps and be aware of the owner/Sterling people to scam and lie to you.

ABSOLUTE SCAM ARTISTS THAT NOW OPERATE UNDER THE NAME OF COLLISION WAREHOUSE. As another post wrote, they will take your vehicle and make many excuses as to why is not complete, then after weeks of holding your vehicle, and you demand your vehicle they will charge you an enormous storage bill! WE JUST HAD TO PAY $1015 TO GET OUR VEHICLE AND THEY NEVER DID ANY WORK, ONLY STORAGE FEES!! AVOID THIS SCAM ARTIST SUPPOSED SHOP!!!

I worked here for 1 week. I myself and two other girls were brought into this shameful scamming body shop, to call people saying we worked with insurance companys to bring people in. This place os very shady. They knew we knew it. They wanted to pay us under the table. The other 2 girls were not even paid and I had to call a police to get invovled for a check. PLEASE DONT COME HERE. Whether its for there sad offer on Craigslist or to get your car fixed. And also....F u Toni!!!! Scary a** b****! Your not worth sh**!!!!

Worst experience of my life! Please, Please, Please do not use these people. They go by collision warehouse, sterling paint and body, and southeastern appraisers. You will be scammed out of your money out of your car and your life will be destroyed over the next couple of months. Dont fall for their christian like front. These people are scammers! Unprofessional! They commit fraud on several levels. I lost my vehicle and $3000 to them. The bank will not even deal with them they have done so much fraud under these business names. My main satisfaction would be to have him,Sterling(Leonard/Gabe) and his crazy, overreactive secretary toni imprisoned for FRAUD!!!! This has been the worst experience of my life! They open llcs to hide from lawsuits so if they get your money youre not getting it back. Someone recently shot their building up because they were so infuriated. There are bullet holes everywhere in the front. These people need to be arrested asap!They hold peoples cars forever and you may never get your car back. They come into your life at the worst time of your life after an accident and mess up your life even more. These are the worst type of criminals because they dont have a soul and they make themselves the victims. Just DONT do business with them! I promise you will regret every minute of it! Dont fall for their smiles in the beginning. They will take your money and run and you will not get it back bc they will bankrupt their company and open up a new business entity! This was absolutely the WORST service ive ever had. Ive never had someone LIE direcrly to me just to cover their own behind. I had to call them over and over just to figure out what was going on with my vehicle without success, and my claims dealer said he also had trouble getting in touch with them. He had to extend my rental 4 times, they told me theyd wave my deductible when they took my car then when I came to pick it up the employee claimed i never said that in a matter that was of a 4 year old. The girl at the counter continually cut me off when I spoke, then when she frustratingly tried to close the glass window on me after our conversation, she closed it so roughly the glass shattered all over the floor. The only words she said to me were Is it okay if i take care of this first? In a very sarcastic and condescending way. Where are the district managers for this place??

This company now has a DBA as Collision Warehouse. Be warned.

Absolutely horrible. If someone told you to go here to get your car repaired do not go. Youll regret it. Take my word for it. Find someone else to do your repairs.

OMG ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!! DO NOT GO HERE!! NO CALL BACKS AND THEY GIVE YOU THE RUN AROUND AND OVER CHARGE YOU FOR CRAPPY WORK!!
