Earlier this week I visited Jason at Midwood Auto Craft and asked him to look at a damaged piece of trim on my front wheel opening. He stopped what he was doing, looked at the car, said no problem and in a few minutes repaired the damage. When I offered to pay for his services he said he couldnt charge me for such a small job. This small job was quoted at $700 to $800 by the dealership. If you need body work, you wont be disappointed in visiting Midwood Auto Craft. It is a gem of a local business. And, Jason is an unusual businessman.

Jason & team are fantastic! We took our Jeep in to get repairs done to the back paneling that was damaged when we got rear ended. They are extremely professional, communicative, and thorough. The car looks great and the extra touch of cleaning our mats and general detail was a great surprise and very much appreciated :) Highly recommend!

Jason recently repaired the bumper on my 2019 E63 AMG after my mum backed into my car in our driveway. Jason had us in first thing in the morning the next day and quickly reviewed our options. Within a day, he had a detailed quote with an option to schedule my car early the next week. I dropped off my car and prepared myself for a week’s worth of work. Lo and behold, Jason called me in four days with the car ready for pick up. The work was fantastic! Now, a business is only as good as when they respond to a challenge. I noticed on my drive home that my parking sensors weren’t working. Jason took the car back and speculated that it might be a software issue. The benz dealer wanted to charge me $500 just for them to take a look. Jason got my car back immediately for a longer look. He found a loose connector and had the car back to me within hours. Jason appreciated being given the opportunity to make it right. I cannot recommend Jason and his work enough. High quality of work aside, his responsive and sensitive customer service have earned him my business for life.

Midwood Auto Craft is a true five star experience, from Jason’s initial assessment and written estimate to a high quality, expert repair completed as promised. I wish my fender bender (literally) hadn’t happened, but since it did this is the place to make it all better.

The reviews you’ve read are true - not only does Jason do tremendous work when it comes to collision & body repair, he’s also exceedingly honest & really tunes in to the financial needs of his customers. He was recommended to me by Woodie’s.When I brought in my Civic for an estimate on a crunched front passenger door & fender, he let me know ways in which we could bring the cost down without sacrificing safety (I opted not to get the rocker panel fixed). I also asked him about another minor cosmetic repair, which he didn’t recommend since 1) it wasn’t a safety issue & 2) it wouldn’t be cheap to fix the molding & repaint the panel. I did tack on headlight polishing since mine were getting dangerously cloudy.My total ended up being about $300 less than expected, my car was ready on time, & Jason helped me navigate the car rental process. I’d recommend Midwood to anyone I know!

If I could praise them 1000 times I would!We went in because my partner needed a signal light fixed on his 94 Toyota 4Runner. At first they thought they would have to order the part as someone did a hit and run and knocked it out but the young man helping us asked us if we really wanted the whole thing replaced since the car is old and has other damage. We told him we just needed to pass inspection. He went inside, grabbed a screw driver and fixed it right on the spot.We will go here for any future body work based on this experience alone. He was so kind and patient and especially now, this means a lot!Thank you!!

This is by far the best auto shop in Charlotte. Prior to using Jason and his crew, I got immensely screwed over at the Hendrick Collision Center in Concord. I assumed that the bigger the place, the more legitimate, right? Wrong. So, I chose to go with a smaller shop this time around. Midwood Auto Craft came heavily recommended to me and they certainly did not disappoint. Took my car to Jason, I had an issue with water leaking into the car through sunroof because drains were clogged up but my sunroof didnt work so I couldnt clean it up. Two words: highly recommend! In this case, my vehicle turned out to be a total loss as deemed by the insurance company, so no repairs were actually completed. Got hit by a tarp with acrylic paint on it on the way to work and coated the front bumper and hood with paint. Brought the car down to Midwood and Jason took care of me. Was in and out in less than 10 minutes, the paint is gone, and my clear coat looks great! Will definitely be back should I need any body work.

I had my 2008 Subarus front end repaired prior to taking it to Midwood but was never quite right. They estimated the repair, worked with my insurances estimator and had the car ready when promised. It is now as good as new! Happily, they exceeded my expectations.

Ive gone to Jason for many years and Im always taken care of. Ive referred many people to him and ALL have had positive experiences. Fair pricing, professional and, most importantly, a great finished product.

I used MAC after an accident because of the high ratings. It took a while to get an appointment, but I understand they are busy. Everyone I spoke with was very nice. Unfortunately, when I got my car back there were some issues. The things I dont care too much about are the fact that the paint color on the replacement parts are slightly different than the test of the car, the replaced headlight is not even with the existing one - so one juts out while the other is set in, and the hood is slightly tilted making it difficult to close. The things that do bother me are that my car came back with the headlights and some rear lights not working, the open door sensor is constantly on, ane the engine light now comes on and off. Also, the car no longer beeps when I lock it which is a bummer. The biggest reason Im writing this review is that I called multiple times before I finally gave up in hearing back. A friend helped me find the disconnection that was stopping the headlights from working, but everything else is the same. Im going to need to pass inspection soon and dont want to spend money fixing things that cost me over $2000 to break. Really hoping I hear from MAC and we can make this right.

I went to this repair shop to get a new bumper and driver side headlight . If I could give them less than 1 star I would. I needed this job done DESPERATELY. I was moving in 2 days, my car was filled to the brim with boxes and I hydroplaned into a stop sign. Bad timing! They 100% took of advantage of my rush and my being a woman. The bumper they put on my car might as well have been duck taped on. I picked my car up and left. If I had stayed in Charlotte I would have gone right back there and demanded a refund. I was able to pull the bumper off with my bare hands (and Im not strong!). The headlight they put on was pointing down so I failed my inspection because of my crooked headlights. I would never recommend this shop and if I hadnt moved away they would have heard back from about the terrible repair job they did to my front end.

After shopping around getting multiple estimates for exterior collision repairs for my ’03 BMW 325i, and restoration of my 1993 BMW Z3, Jason at Midwood Auto Craft solved all my auto body issues.My 1993 Z3 needed complete exterior paint restoration since the factory fire engine red paint had been compromised from age and weather. I also needed a new ragtop and major repairs to the aging interior components. Jason’s expertise in restoration of my Z3 included complete exterior paint restored to original factory specs and installation of a new convertible top that fit beautifully. He also repaired or replaced the door panels, seat mechanisms and dashboard to match its original condition. His attention to detail and precise measurement made the restoration project of my Z3 a successful and pleasurable experience.Jason at Midwood Auto Craft also completed bodywork repairs on my 2003 BMW 325i after I had backed into a trailer. He was able to restore the rear quarter panel and fix the bumper with out having to purchase costly replacement parts. I recently had my car repaired at Midwood Auto Craft on Nandina Street in Charlotte NC... let me start with IMPECCABLE, AMAZING, FLAWLESS, SUPERB service!!!!! I was drawn to this repair shop by some really impressive reviews I read online. Jason, a friendly professional down to earth kinda guy, could not have been more customer oriented! He immediately engaged me with a warm smile and sincere attention to my concerns regarding my car. I can honestly say, I knew within the first few moments of conversation with him, I wouldnt take the vehicle anywhere else for repair, no matter what he said the cost would be. Jason went on with a thorough inspection and then produced a detailed professionally formatted estimate printed out in explicit detail. He waited patiently while I reviewed it, and responded to any questions I had...we shook hands and he told me to just let him know if I wanted him and his team to repair my car.I was dealing with an insurance claim from Hertz rental car, which involved an international driver who was from Germany in the US on business... A Nightmare to say the least. I had never been in a car accident before, so this was an overwhelming experience. Dealing with insurance adjusters, claims departments, law offices seeking to make a case for me, totally blew me away! Sometimes, in moments of clarity, I was actually able to ask Jason questions about all this... and each time he would happily provide insight and answers for me on anything he had knowledge of... TRULY AMAZING!!Finally, I was able to take the car in for repair and again there was Jason, with a warm smile and friendly gesture. He took my keys and gave me a time frame on when to expect the work to be completed. Sure enough, on the exact day he claimed, Jason called to let me know my car was ready for pick-up. I rushed down to his shop eager to see the finished product... I could not have been MORE PLEASED!!! The work they did was phenomenal, my car actually looked better than it did before the accident, I say this with all sincerity... these guys really know their stuff!!The story doesnt end there, my car also had an oil leak that I had scheduled to be repaired at a local Meineke Shop. According to Meineke, I needed to have a major repair that involved taking my engine apart and replacing a seal which would cost me $392.00! I really wasnt looking forward to spending that much money but, oh well, its gotta be done... or so I thought. Excited about the awesome job Jason had done on the car, I casually stated to him, the only thing I have left to do now is have an oil leak repaired and it would be good as new! Jason made a suggestion to me... I have a good friend with a shop not far from here called Nicks Auto Repair you should give them a call. Well I did give them a call, and took the car in for repair... the major $392.00 repair job turned into $85.00... a small pump needed replacing... the car hasnt leaked a drop of oil since! I would have never known about this place, had it not been for Jason, and he didnt have to suggest this to me, its just the type of guy he is.I will conclude with this... it is my sincere wish that no one has to experience an auto accident, but if you do, and you need a repair shop; I totally 100% recommend Jason and his team at Midwood Auto Craft, It will be the best decision you ever make!

Dropped off motorcycle part to be refinished, 5 weeks later told pinstripe had to be ordered be done in two days, called wasnt ready, but come up at end of week no problem. Called day of informed on way, no response and arrived not ready, wrong pinstripe, order new one and week went by no contact or response to emails sent. Went up to pickup, incomplete job not completely painted, dirt in finish. Paid and was told money to be refunded after estimates to fix work done, 2 weeks, no refund, 3 weeks no refund, called repeatedly no answer left several voice mails, finally call back with another excuse but assured check will be mailed and owner couldnt understand why I was upset. Dont use this shop, not trustworthy still awaiting refund.

My car took a day longer then expected due to the wrong part being sent, which I was ok with but the big drip on the rear apron and the orange peel paint finish are not what I would call pro level work.
