Our experience with Queen City Appliance was quite good. Our sales consultant (Rick Webb) treated us with the utmost of courtesy and professionalism. We did have an issue or two with the install/delivery, but theyre being worked as we speak. A very good buying experience!
We went to the store to look for the appliances and since the first time I had a good support. Kyle was my consultant and he gave all info I asked for. After a month we decided close with then. We choose Queen City for the good support in our purchase, for they being honest with what they have in inventory, and for the prices. We are so happy with our purchases for our new home and they made a difference.

Queen City is a wonderful place to set yourself up for appliances. My wife and I were taken care of by Kyle who helped us find the perfect items for our new home and in budget as well. He was patient and kind in answering our questions. We felt taken care of at Queen City and recommend them to all our friends.
We worked with Kyle Field of Queen City on Independence in Charlotte to purchase a top of the line GE washer dryer set. Did it all on the phone. Called him back several times for excellent advice regarding features and brands. Never felt pushed or steered. Ordered on a Friday afternoon, and was delivered the next morning at 8:30.Thought we heard a little rattle in the dryer, called Kyle, and he had a GE factory serviceman (who was also top notch) out within a week. He adjusted some of the cabinet bracing and it runs like a top.Terrific experience all the way around.
This was the first time I purchased from Queen City Appliance but definitely not the last. Not only did they have the refrigerator I was looking for in stock, Eddie made the process so easy. We did everything over the phone. It would have been delivered next day but no one would be home so they delivered within 2 days, which worked for us.
Employees were knowledgeable about the appliances and prices were better than the local competitors. Hidden gem in the Charlotte area. I would definitely recommend if you are in need of multiple items.
We bought our GE washer and dryer from Rick at Queen City Audio Video & Appliance. He was very knowledgeable and helped us work through the simple details such as location of the dryer vent hose. Machines are considerably bigger than they were when our house was built and we were concerned with them fitting in the laundry room. The delivery crew was awesome and very mindful of the maneuvering the units through doors and into place. Everything went smooth and we are very happy with QCs service and our machines!
QUEEN CITY APPLIANCE- QUEEN CITY DRIVEDon’t shop here- they don’t need your money.I went to Queen City Drive store to purchase a refrigerator that I saw online that they “had in stock”. Upon arrival, I entered and saw no less than 8 employees sitting at desks with computers in the front of the store. No one acknowledged me until I stopped in my footsteps looking around. An employee at the front desk (while on phone), said “Can I help you find something?”. I said, yes, please I am here to look at refrigerators. He pointed to his right and said all the way to the end on the left- never moving in his chair.So, I ventured on my own and luckily found a wall of refrigerators, including the refrigerator I wanted. Fifteen minutes later, no one came to check on me or offer any assistance. I decided to leave as I don’t beg people to take my cash. Upon leaving, NO ONE acknowledged me.I purchased my refrigerator at another store- $3200. They obviously do not need the income/ profits, so I am saving you the time. Don’t shop here .

I had a great experience with Queen City from the Salesman to the delivery guys! When my new washer was delivered they sent the wrong pedestal. The delivery guy called immediately and we worked it out. I used my old pedestal and Queen City credit back my credit card! I really love my new washer and my new convection microwave!
Absolutely professional organization. Excellent inventory with experienced professionals to help guide you in purchase or remodels / upfits of your appliance purchases. I found them to be quite patient and had some excellent insight and did not try to “upsell”. Rather, they took the time to find out our needs and tried to make them happen within our budget. Impressive!
I choose to do business with this company for all the appliances for our new home. After we ordered the appliances and they where delivered there was damaged on the inside. I had no choice because they had no more so I kept them. The icemaker was not delivered when I got the fridge so I called to get the fixed it took over 2 weeks to get that installed. A few weeks later the fridge stopped working a I lost all the food in my fridge. When I got hold of queen city they told me that was between me and whirlpool. The service provider they gave me does not service my area so thats not an option. I have been living out of my cooler for 5 weeks now and they just offered me to pay $1300 for another brand or take a refund on the fridge. ( keep it in mind these are all fridge all freezer that connect together) so I would be stuck with a freezer because they where not taking it back. These units are a very large size and there is only 2 brands to choose from. I had bought a $500 trim kit from somewhere else because they did not have it in stock so I was gonna be stuck with that too. The new ones they offered are discontinued and I would have to buy another $500 trim kit. I have spent tons in ice and gas to get ice every night so the food we have will not go bad.. I have 3 kids and living out of a cooler for 5 weeks is ridiculous. I have been waiting on talking to Ben Wilson for over a week so we can discuss how we can get this fixed but we will see. I would definitely think twice before buying from them. They just take your money and could care less about customers service.

The staff were courteous and very helpful. Even with just two sales staff, we were welcomed and given directions to the products that we were shopping. When a salesman, Kyle Fields, was available, he was knowledgeable and very informative about the dishwashers. Queen City is the first place I go for Quality Appliances at a good price.. Unfortunately, this time they were out of stock on the Appliance I wanted and was only told after I had paid for it, was not what I expected from them at all.. However, the refund was backing My account within 2 Days... My wife was very disheartened but willing to give them some time.. Queen City, please get your inventory system under control... Ill be trying again soon..
Purchased a Whirlpool refrigerator in May 2021. My wife wanted a white fridge, and this was the only place in the state that had one. It was delivered promptly and at my convenience. The installers were professional, polite, and careful to prevent any damage. When unloading the fridge from the truck, the installers notified me of a couple minor dents on the side of the fridge and offered me a 10% discount off the purchase price. I received a check for the discount a couple weeks later. Professional service and a fair price, I would definitely buy from them again.
Queen City was great! I got a tv at a great price but they weren’t able to install the TV. Then I called my salesman Charlie and he drove by after work to help me set it up. I know my granddaughter and I are very happy and will be watching a lot of cartoons tonightThanks Charlie

Purchasing was OK although the salesperson was not dedicated to us. Not all his fault as they seemed short staffed. I called the delivery line 2 times to stress to them i would NOT be home for a 45 minute period while picking up my son. When I arrived home my range was unboxed and getting rained on. I asked the guys how long theyd been there and he couldnt understand english. Ultimately he said 20 minutes. They also left a cigarette butt in my driveway.
My experience was not good. I purchased a range and the salesman was not friendly. He came across as abrupt. When the delivery guys delivered my range, they bent it and did not tell me. I called the store and explained. Another range was delivered and the guys could not put the range in its rightful place. Pitiful. I will not be dealing with Queen City again.

We had a shipment issue with another company. We called Rick Webb and he invited us for a visit the next morning. We met him and within 15 minutes we had new items in order. Less than a week later Rick emailed me that everything was ready for delivery. Rick is experienced and super friendly. I highly recommend Queen City Appliances.
We bought our kitchen appliances at Queen City. The sales professional was top notch as was delivery and installation. So when we needed a new dryer, going to Queen City was a no brainer. Same level of service when buying (thanks Charlie!) and when installing. They gave us a day and a time and showed up (unlike the big box stores). I can’t recommend these guys enough. They deliver in knowledge and service and the price ain’t bad either.

Recently I was searching for a new refrigerator for my kitchen and garage. We bought from Queen City because the salespersons product knowledge was instrumental in our decision to purchase two refrigerators, a washer, and a dryer. Big box retailers dont always have a person who can answer your questions and explain the product features, while Queen City great prices and a knowledgeable team to assist you with your purchase. The customer service was excellent upon walking in to help me with my questions. Marcus, the sales rep who assisted me, advised me of several payment options which was very helpful. The location was convenient for me. Delivery of my appliance was quick as far as expectancy & into my apartment. The guys who delivered my appliance was friendly & followed the Covid rules by wearing a mask. The only issue but not a big problem. I had to ask him to check my washer to make sure all hoses were connected correctly & water was not leaking, otherwise he was gonna leave without checking to see if equipment was working properly.I would shop at this location again & plan to go back to get my dryer to match my washer.Tina Caldwell

I found a great value and the advice and service has been 5 stars. I have used them before and found them to be reliable with excellent advisors.
Their delivery drivers didnt want to remove the doors from a refrigerator and wanted to break the handles instead. What they ended up doing was breaking the door to the house in the process. How does that make sense?

My wife and are were shopping for an entire kitchen appliance package for a new home and had been given the run around by other appliance stores in the area. The entire team from the front desk to delivery were total professionals and gave us exemplary service. I highly recommend these folks and I will never buy appliances from anyone else!

We bought a top of the line dishwasher and had it delivered on May 11th. Salesman was very nice and helpful when we purchased. Was told by the installers to run it for 2 cycles before putting dishes in it. First cycle ran fine, but wouldn’t run 2nd cycle, so I called the salesman- he referred me to a repair company. Repair company came out and said it needed a new part which would have to be ordered. 3 weeks later no update concerning the part. My husband called Queen City to see I what our options were since we were now 4 weeks out with still no working dishwasher. Same salesman took the call and said that he didn’t know there was an issue, even though I had already called. We asked for the $100 upgrade model for our inconvenience and he said absolutely not that no business would be able to stay in business if they do that. My husband asked for a manager and he said there was no one else that he could speak to. My husband called back again and was told a customer service rep would call us. Didn’t receive a call. Repair company company came out again on June 17 and said now another part was also bad and they would have to order it. I called back and spoke to sane sales rep and he said a customer service person would call as I said I just wanted a refund since it had been almost 6 weeks and I still couldn’t use a dishwasher I purchased. Customer Service rep did call back and apologized immediately for not calling when she was first informed of the issue. (A simple apology goes a long way- they salesman could learn from that.). I told her I just wanted a full refund which was granted minus the delivery fee. Why should I have to pay if you delivered a non functional appliance but I was tired of the whole ordeal and let it go. Salesman called me a few days later to get my cc information to give us a refund and never once offered a simple apology or anything . I understand things happen, and I’m glad to work with anyone but when the salesman was as horrible as he was, not only did he lose our business on this sale but any future business with us.
Kyle Field was extremely knowledgeable about the products. We walked in ready to buy a Bosch dishwasher but after learning about the differences of several manufacturers we purchased a Kitchenaid.
I worked with Alex Haymaker from the Pineville store. Alex worked with me patiently to help us find the right refrigerator for our kitchen. Unfortunately the first choice we selected was delivered and just not right for us. Alex ensured our satisfaction and we replaced it with another model, which were ecstatic about. I went to Queen City auto frantically looking for a washer, dryer and fridge. I am having a house built and at the last minute I was told the appliance are no longer included. I went to Queen City and I thankfully met Robbie. Robbie was so knowledgeable and welcoming as soon as I walked in. He made my experience at Queen City so pleasant and positive. The only reason this is getting 2 stars is because Rick Webb was super nice and really tried to help. But otherwise, I was sold a dishwasher that wasnt in stock and therefore not going to arrive on time (Rick upgraded my dishwasher to fix the problem). I was told that it would be delivered after 1pm on a particular day with a 30 minute heads up phone call. I received a phone call when the delievery guys were already at my house at 11am, not even at the correct time and NO heads up ohone call! Then the delivery guys were SUPER rude to me about it like it was my fault I wasnt there. I had interrupt an important meeting in order to get this experience over with. Overall experience was not great.
Friendly and very efficient delivery crew. They definitely knew what they were doing and made sure the refrigerator was level and operated properly before leaving! Great job team!!!
Horrible experience. Delivery was to be on a Tuesday; was told between 12-4 and 3-7 so one day wasted waiting for delivery that showed up at 8pm. Dryer cord was supposedly too short and needed a longer one. Thursday the techs brought the longer cord but stripped a screw so I was still without a working dryer. On Friday and other tech group showed up and questioned why it needed a longer cord because the original one would have worked. After numerous unreturned phone calls, countless time spent on hold and 3 days waiting for somebody to fix the dryer, I finally received the FIRST apology Friday afternoon. I spent $1600 for the set and will never recommend Queen City, spending more money to have installed correctly would have been worth it. Lesson learned and customer lost.
Purchase was completed over the phone. Product was slight damaged in delivery. QC replaced within in a week allowing us use of the first one until second was delivered. Charles Coleman was a great sales person to work with.

Because less than 1 star isnt an option. Terrible Terrible Terrible customer service. Ignored when we walked in the door. Walked by at least 5 employees and not one offered to help. Went to pick up appliance and they acted as if we were inconveniencing them. And explain to me how a forklift driver can do his job safety with earbuds in his ears? Seems like there would be some safety protocols against that.. He could not hear when spoken to. He kept saying,Huh? What? And didnt even help load the appliance onto our truck.. I have worked in customer service over 20 years. I dont keep clients by ignoring them or being rude. I go over and beyond for them. Thats how I stay in business. Its your customers that keep your doors open, yet you treat your customers with zero respect or appreciation. It seemed most of the employees show up to work, clock in, and avoid working at all cost. There was one man that finally asked if we were being helped and was clearly frustrated when he realized no one at the front of the store had even greeted us, let alone offer to assist us. First and last time coming to this store.

My experience with Queen City was great actually purchasing the appliances and setting up the delivery. They had good inventory and knowledgeable reps. However, after the appliance was purchased it went downhill. The delivery and install purchase was just bad. Scheduled to deliver between 12 and 4 that day so I took the afternoon off to be home. Well at 4 o’clock I had received no communication and was left to call the delivery driver myself. I was told it would be one hour for 3 straight hours. Finally after 7 PM they showed up and spend an hour installing. I even called the local store at 6PM to complain and get info and they seemed to care less my stuff was delayed and this was normal to receive no communication. This happened to be my second delivery disaster with them which is sad because if their delivery experience matched the buying experience I’d use them again but never will now.

Recently purchased a new Kitchenaid refrigerator from Queen City Appliance. Had a pleasant experience. Kim, our sales rep, was very pleasant and helpful even answering followup questions. The delivery crew was very pleasant and did a good job setting up our fridge as well.

Ive been shopping at QC since the 70s and have always liked the fact they tried to be somewhat competitive with their pricing. We have purchased a lot of merchandise from them over those years, matter of fact I just purchased a $6500 grill from them 3 years ago. Yes, brand loyalty if you want to call it that.I stopped in for a new range and hood and was dismayed to hear we no longer received the discount through our company weve received for years due to the covid pandemic and then was quoted the full retail price and there was no wiggle room whatsoever.I dont mind spending an extra hundred or two to help out my local brick & mortar store but $900 is a lot of money - at least to me. Thats what I saved going to my local big box store.Hopefully QC will remember the business model that Woody made them famous for. Otherwise they are destined for the same fate as other mom and pop brick & mortar stores.

Marcus was awesome. I ordered an electric range stove online and it was out of stock. I was notified in a timely manner. Marcus offered me a couple more options that were in stock. The price was slightly higher than the original stove that I purchased. Marcus went above and beyond for me in working with the price. I will definitely recommend queen city!

Great experience for my first time. They were prompt with their service and offer better deals than your box box stores. Free delivery and installation were also great. The guys that delivered my new appliance took great care of it bringing it into the house and installing it successfully.
When in walked around for about 20 minutes and no one came to assist me. So I left back out.

Unprofessional and unreliable. Do NOT use this company unless you’re prepared to rearrange your schedule multiple times.We needed to replace our oven and found the same model as our old on so it would fit our wall oven space. We found a few on the website that said they were in stock and on March 4th the sales representative told us the exact one that would fit. Again, the Queen city’s website said it was in stock.However when we tried to order, the sales representative said it wasn’t actually available but Kitchenaid was sending their items reliably so ours would be delivered on March 22nd.We paid and waited for the call. Instead we received a call on Saturday, March 20 saying it was delayed by a week but we would get a call when it arrived. The following Saturday, March 27, we received a voicemail at 6pm from delivery saying it would be delivered Monday morning. When we returned the call we never got through to a person but rearranged schedules to receive the oven. On Monday evening after it never arrived, I called again. The sales representative said the product never even arrived so he didn’t know why I got a call from the delivery department. He told me to wait another week or two. I waited and again got a call from delivery that the oven would be delivered the next day. Another no show. Another time that the sales representative said delivery shouldn’t have called because it wasn’t there yet.Finally on the 19th of April I called and they told me the oven was in and would be delivered that week. I was told to wait for the delivery to call me. I didn’t hear anything on Tuesday so I called on Wednesday. They told me they couldn’t find our information in the system, so they didn’t think any delivery was being made that week. I spent almost an hour on the phone with them and gave them my customer number and nothing came up. I told them that if it was being delivered it needed to be Thursday morning before I had to go out of town. They told me to call my sales representative. He’s off on Wednesday so I left a voicemail. Two hours later my husband got a voicemail from delivery saying the oven would be delivered Thursday evening. I called back and gave his phone number and information and yet again they told me the customer information didn’t exist in the system so they couldn’t find us. Finally they said that if we got a voicemail, it was right. I told them I had to move it to a morning delivery. They said that their computer system would arrange the route and we’d get a call around 7pm with final details so I should wait until then. That evening at 7, I got an automated call that had me scheduled for the later afternoon, and the only way to change it was to call the delivery department, which went straight to voicemail multiple times. I had to spend an hour the next morning trying to get them to find out information and get the route corrected.Eventually it showed up about an hour after they said it would, further delaying my plans. And to top it off, when they took the old oven, they took my microwave cover from inside the microwave, and the trim pieces didn’t fit on, so they had to leave it unfinished for me to find a contractor to correct the appearance.Bottom line- this company wants you to think that they’re a “local, family owned” business, but you will be much better off using a reliable big box store to get the job done.

Great experience! Charlie Coleman was excellent with follow up. We moved from out of state In March just before NC closed down due to COVID. Placed order for kitchen & laundry appliances. There were some issues with availability which Charlie kept us informed about. The gas range and exhaust fan were received damaged which Charlie had replaced quickly. Received microwave drawer and at long last received the dryer today. Charlie was great to deal with. Fair prices. Good product knowledge. Great follow up.
Went to Queen City appliances on independence blvd. Not very busy. Kyle was good to work with. He walked us through several dishwasher models and we settled on a kitchenaid. Delivery was prompt and the installation went well. I believe the installation took 45 minutes. I would recommend them highly!
My dryer stopped working unexpectedly 1/14/21. Because of Covid, I did not want to go into a store and wait so I decided to call appliance retailers including Queen city audio and video on January 15. I was unable to reach a sales associate at all locations except Queen city audio and video. Brian answered all my questions regarding two models I had narrowed by search to, additionally he ordered and had delivered my dryer by Wednesday, January 20. The delivery associates were professional and had the dryer installed and tested quickly and efficiently. My entire experience with Queen city audio and visual was pleasant, professional and efficient. I can highly recommend them.
We were so pleased with the service at Queen City. We continue to go back to them when we need appliances. Robby and Kyle are professional and knowledgeable.
Kyle Field and Rick Webb went out of their way to be patient and kind when so many competitors aren’t. I am rather picky and have a habit of changing my mind frequently and these two men were always happy to help, especially when they had little or no help with them.
They delivered a product today that never showed anything but an error code, and then after getting bounced around in phone transfers and several disconnects/re-dials I was referred to the manufacturer to get my purchase working. 3 thousand dollars for an non-functional, incomplete install. I will never purchase from here again.
I want to send out a most excellent shout-out about an employee I had recent dealings with . While searching for a washer and dryer I made contact via telephone with Product Specialist Emory Lewis from a Charlotte location store. Mr. Lewis, provided professional informative information on the products we were discussing. His knowledge of procedure, availability, and overall product information was in my opinion exceptional and is not a skill found often in most retail businesses . He was able to answer all my questions and truly made my purchase experience low stress, no pressure, and left me feeling I was a valued customer. More sales people should approach / deal with potential customers with the level of honesty, patience, and professionalism the Mr. Emory Lewis does. Because of his conduct I will in the future first check with Queen city before I go to the other larger retail stores.
I would leave 0 stars if possible. We ordered a dishwasher that arrived broken so we ordered a new dishwasher. When it was delivered, they did not have the parts necessary to install the dishwasher. They said they would send somebody out the next day but no one showed up. Four days later someone finally showed up to install the dishwasher but once again did not have the parts necessary to install. It is impossible to get in contact with anyone at the store to get help with this. Eddie Baker, the salesman who sold us the dishwasher, has not responded to any calls or voicemails. We even called multiple times to remind them to bring the necessary parts but to no avail. Run as fast as you can from this place. Management is obviously inept.

We needed a new refrigerator and everywhere I looked they were back ordered. Fortunately someone directed me here and they had the refrigerator that I wanted in stock. This was a Friday and our new refrigerator was delivered on Monday! They were friendly and helpful. I will be returning for additional home needs in the future.
