He even called Monday morning to confirm the appointment.We bought a dishwasher from another company & he was able to install with ease. My washer kept giving an UL code and Anthony came to repair on a Sunday after another company did a last minute cancellation Saturday. Anthony was very professional and upfront about the probability of the same problem reoccurring and showed me the root cause of the problem. He recommended replacing instead of paying him for a temporary fix . I appreciate how knowledgable he was and his honesty. Definitely will reccomend him and use for any future issues I might encounter!

On August 30th we contacted this company for repair on our refrigerator. The temperature would rise when the door was left open for even a short amount of time. The repairman, Anthony, showed up and that’s the only reason I gave 1 star. Initially he told us there was nothing wrong with our unit. While he was putting the parts back on the refrigerator my husband and I left the room. I went to my office to work and my husband to shower. As soon as we left the room, he randomly says uh oh and that he found the problem. The compressor is weak. He then “fixed it” but never showed us the old part or the replacement part. He didn’t not provide any paperwork for the repair (update - he did 3 days later). After his visit I messaged him twice, once because he left a tool at our house and once to say his repair did not work (the issue remained). He did call the next did and rudely but accurately told me he was the repair person and not me and I shouldn’t worry but should let him do his job. He comes back (my husband is not home) and wouldn’t let me explain what was happening. He kept cutting me off to justify that what he “fixed” made it better than it was before I called him because the temp was correct again. I explained why he couldn’t say that with accuracy based off of what he told us when he said nothing was wrong. I asked him to quit cutting me off and to let me finish. He then mansplained me about him being the expert, shared his unwanted thoughts about the temp we keep our refrigerator. Then tried to act like that’s why it wasn’t working because 37 is optimal and we were making our machine work too hard by having a couple of degrees lower. I explained where we keep our temp is not why I called. And did y’all know that 32 degrees is freezing. What!!! Mansplain to me what freezing temperatures are cause clearly I’m 5 years old and don’t know. He continued to be rude. I told him he could speak with my husband. He didn’t want me to do that. He went outside to “wait to see if our temperature would rise” after he opened and closed the refrigerator for 2 seconds. I gather his tools, walked outside, and let him know that he got what he wanted the $330 he charged us to replace a part on the compressor (the relay switch). I’ve since learned his prices are outrageous and a rip off. I kindly told him his service were no longer required and we would find someone else to assist us. Do not call this company unless you want to be ripped off and spoken to like your an idiot. And don’t let them try to tell you I’m not a real customer - I am!!! And now we are just going to buy a new refrigerator.

Anthony was prompt, professional and very honest about what repairs were needed and what wasn’t necessary. Would strongly recommend.

While the repairman and service was fine, the cost was exorbitant for the issue. He spent approximately 50 minutes here and charged $180 to clean the refrigerator drains. That was almost 8 hrs of work for me. There were no special or regular parts needed. While I strive to support small businesses, snap business owners should also strive to support their customers by not taking advantage of them and overcharging. Everytime I think about what he charged to clean a refrigerator drain, it bothers me. In the future, should the need arise, I will look for more reasonably priced technicians.

I had a great experience with 1 Hour Appliance and Repair. My wall unit microwave went out about a year ago and I decided to have it fixed instead of replacing it so I reached out to 1 Hour Appliance and Repair and Anthony took good care of us. His communication and responsiveness was great and he always calls when he is on his way. He came out and diagnosed my problem and fixed my microwave the very next day. I will use them again and will recommend them to others.

They were supposed to come on 2 separate occasions to repair my wachine machine but no one ever showed up. That is extremely unprofessional. This is definitely the company that I called and I didnt open the order in my business name it was in my personal name. The ball was dropped on your end.

Repair tech came out on day called for service which is where they get 1 star. Tech came in at 11am and began working the my refrigerator. Pulled off the inside panel (which he cracked in several spots and broke off foam) to get to the fan, board and coils. Put a volt meter to the board and said it was the fan. Claimed he had the part in the warehouse, but would not be able to install until the following day. Was going to charge me 379, which i felt was exorbitant, but proceeded figuring that the rest of the job would be completed. He came back the following date with the fan and installed it. He proceeds to tell me that it appears to be the board and said he would call me Monday (this being Saturday) about getting the board. i proceeded to have a conversation about all of the issues here .. he explained that if it was perfection i was looking for out of him .. i cut my losses after having paid this gentleman 200 for nothing. Please stay away!!!update: after having cracked the panel on my fridge, which service tech said would not be a prob., called another company to which they said it would need to be replaced.

Awoke this morning to a warming refrigerator and thawing frozen foods. I called the Charlotte branch of One Hour Appliance and Anthony was willing to come out within two hours. He quickly diagnosed the problem and identified the needed part. Upon returning from the warehouse with the part, he was able to install it in 15 minutes and get the refrigerator and freezer running again. I will recommend him to all of my neighbors. Anthony was friendly, responsive, focused on the issue, and very competent. Clearly 5 star service.

They say first impression is everything and its true. NO CALL NO SHOW. Then when I call to check on them the man who made my appointment didnt remember my appointment. Time us money.

This company will take your money, sell you bad parts (or in my case, install the wrong part and rig it so it will work at install), and then when you call them to repair it under warranty 4 months later they tell you there will be a service fee and labor costs...oh and that the part is back ordered at least 30 days. Yet I’ve spoken with another hvac company and they have the part ready to install. So here I am spending hundreds of dollars 4 months later with a reputable company so my hvac system will work properly. I do not recommend doing business with this company unless you want to be robbed.

They were very nice, came out quickly to address a problem we were having with our deep freezer. I was told there was a $69 diagnostic charge that would go towards fixing it. They aren’t able to get the parts needed so couldn’t fix it but still charged us the diagnostic fee 🤔 Never again!

This was a great service, he fixed my washer machine in less than an hour, very kind, professional and respectful, worked with me to fit my schedule. Unfortunately I had to call him back because my washer was doing something weird after he left and tried to wash my first load, he kindly came back the next day and checked back on it at no charge and turned out to be a safety pin stuck in the lid sensor (totally my fault). He was very kind still even when he had to drive on rush hour back to my place. 100% recommended. My washer is working great now and I make sure no safety pins are flying around.

Charge me $350.00 for a fan motor for my fridge Which I think its bit too much. I declined the repair. And went to an appliance parts store and bought the part for $68.00 and change it out myself in maybe 10 to 15 minutes. I still pay him the diagnostic fee of $69.00. The one star is for telling me the problem.

My refrigerator went out last night, and I started making calls for repair early this morning. Mr. Anthony was the only repair service that answered the phone this morning even though a lot of the other websites stated 24/7 service calls. He showed before time and was very professional. He provided me with several options to choose from as far as service. I will be using again.

Our Maytag dryer was making an awful squeal (it is 17 years old). Anthony came out on. Sunday morning, assessed the issues, discussed with me and made an appointment to come back today with the parts. My experience was great. This is the most unprofessional place ever i put in a claim with my warranty company for my dryer whether in 4 days i got appt for someone to come he came out told me what was wrong with the dryer the man that came out and his helper took the back of my dryer apart and never put it back and he told me he was going to order the parts and come back a week goes by i decide to call him to see about the parts so he can finish the job he tells me i dont use your warranty company any more and to find he didnt have the decency to call my warranty company and let them know so i had to get a whole new contractor and they had to reorder the parts all over again because this company was suppose to finish the job period whether they were done with my warranty company or not very unprofessional would not recommend this company to anyone

Anthony was ahead of schedule and courteous on a Saturday none the less.. The doors on the front load washer and dryer had to reversed, and after reading the manual I was reluctant to do it myself. Used through 2-10 warranty company. Looked at machine ordered part. I called to verify ordered part with 2-10 and received tracking info. Called one hour app to schedule follow up. Appointment set for 8 a.m. Told them that day of service I would need to leave by 11. Time confirmed day before service appointment by 2-10. By 9:15 I called to question appointment time arrival and told repairman on his way. Received call at 9:56 be there in 10 minutes. Finally arrived at 10:25. Sat in vehicle on phone. I went out at 10:30 spoke to repairman about my departure at 11. Was apologized to. Late due to emergency. Things happen. But call and reschedule dont keep customer waiting around! We have jobs to do too! Appliance was not fixed!

Stay far far away from this business. I wish I could give zero stars. He came out with 2-10 home buyers warranty and looked at our washer. His butt crack was hanging out the entire time he was here. Very unprofessional. Said we needed a part so he got it ordered with 2-10 and said he would be back when the part came in. A few weeks later he came back with the part and had his son with him as his helper. They came in and started the repair on the washer. Once the repair was done he didn’t show me the washer worked or anything. He and his son walked out of here so fast his son dropped a hammer on my wood floors. I went in and started a load of laundry. The control panel to the washer was very loose and dented at the top. The water wouldn’t run and my husband was able to get that fixed. But the washer randomly stops in the middle of a cycle and will not start back until it’s unplugged and plugged back in. It did NOT do this before he came out. I called him back within 5 min of them walking out of my house and he argued with me and told me he wouldn’t leave it like that. I then hung up and called 2-10 who said that he would need to come back out to my house to warranty his work which I was not comfortable with but had to agree to since that was the only way I could get my washer fixed. He csme back out a third time and as soon as he walked in my washer said I didn’t leave it like this which was a complete lie. He then proceeded to bang it and dent it even more and was so loud my husband rushed downstairs to find out what was going on. He said maybe you didn’t realize it was like that when you left the last time and he started yelling at my husband saying “you questioning my integrity” over and over again. He then left after denting my washer even more and doing nothing. I called 2-10 who tried to get him to come out again and he refused. I ended up having to file with his insurance company and had to put in a statement and since he lied on his statement I get nothing other than a broken washing machine and money out my own pocket to buy a new one.

If I could give this vendor zero stars, I would. I hired this vendor on June 3, 2016 after informing him that I was on a budget and that I need to know what his service charge and freon charge for a depleted AC unit was prior to coming out to my home.The vendor told me that the service charge was $85 and that the freon charge was $30 per pound. Thus, I was expecting to pay $265 in total.When the vendor arrived to my home, he stayed for about two and a half hours under the guise that he was waiting for the ac unit to cool after filling it with freon. Translation, it took more than an hour to fill an AC unit with six pounds of freon. I have had this service completed by another vendor and it does not take that long. After the completion of the visit, the vendor charged me $392!!!I was furious and asked the vendor to break down the charges and he stated the following:$85-Service Fee$30/6 LBs for freon ($180)$85 per hour labor ($127)Total $392.50I would not hire this vendor again, because I sense that he undercharges for freon, when other vendors charge at least double for freon, but then he attempts to recoup the lower cost he charges for freon by taking longer to complete a job (filling AC unit w/freon) that should take no longer than one hour. I also feel as though the vendor should inform customers that the service charge only includes one hour of labor. This is very important for those who have a limited budget.This review should not be a surprise to him, as I have informed him that I was going to leave one. If you decide to hire this vendor, my advice would be to monitor his labor time and if it goes over one hour, be mindful of what his labor charges will be, or else you will be receiving a larger than expected bill.Pros:The vendor called to inform me that he was running late.Cons:1) The service charge of $85 only includes one hour of labor.2) Not forthcoming about hourly labor charges ahead of time.3) The vendor does not credit the service charge to your bill if you elect to have a service completed.

Horrible service I would give him zero stars if I could! Anthony was contracted through my home warranty company to repair my AC unit. He came and wrote down part numbers and charged $95 for the service call (and didn’t do any work). The part for the repair was ordered through my home warranty company and was delivered directly to him on July 2nd. We hadn’t had air conditioning in 2 weeks but he didn’t care and “was going on vacation” so he scheduled an appointment for July 8th. He calls me on the 8th and tells me that he just opened the box containing the part and he is not licensed to install it. And tells me he is bringing the part to my house and it will be my responsibility to contact the warranty company and tell them that he can’t repair my unit. He is very unprofessional and obviously doesn’t know what he is doing if he ordered a part and then figured out that he isn’t able to install it. Please don’t waste your time with this guy!

The estimate I was told to fix my dryer ended up being over 100 dollars more than what I was told. Dryer still wasnt fixed to working like what it was before it had the thermal fuse issue. All together paid 421 dollars which is damn near a brand new dryer I also had the vent cleaned because he said that could of been the issue. When I called to let him know it still wasnt working the same he basically made it seem like it was my fault because my father who is an electrician took a look at it everything was still pretty much intact not to mention the damage to my walls that was done. I wasnt going to complain but now here is am 421 wasted and my dryer still not working properly. If its something big that needs to be fixed save yourself the money and just buy a new dryer because I most certainly learned my lesson.

A busted fridge for a family of four is pretty miserable, but Anthony was a light in the dark sea of unknown appliance repair services. My call on a Saturday was answered immediately by Anthony, who is quite possibly the nicest person alive. He went out of his way to see if a part was available for same-day fix. It wasnt, but through no fault of his own. He had secured the part by early Monday morning and had our refrigerator fixed by 10am. Very responsive, with several phone calls to confirm appt and provide updates on arrival time. Im not sure it gets any better than him. I hope Santa is good to Anthony.

Called them on Sunday. 69$ service call he checked out the refrigerator and said he could fix.he had to order the part,said parts and labor would be 480$ wanted a deposit of 217$ to order the part another 200$ when he came back to install. Put the 217 on my debt card.he came back on Wednesday to install after about 15minn he said he couldnt fix because he didnt want to damage the copper pipes and be held responsible if he damaged the pipes then he said he could fix and it will cost about 300$ more. Took 6 days before my funds were put back in my account. He put 200 back in my account minus the 17$ said the 17$ was a swipe fee for my CARD.DONOT DEAL WITH THIS CROOK. Called another company they came out 89& service call and fixed for 288 +89 service call. The repair man from the other company showed me that he was trying to change me extra 200$ for the part. I WILL BE CONTACTING CHANELL 9 WHISTLE BLOWER TO EXPOSE THIS CROOK

Terrible. After dealing with our home warranty we finally got one hour appliance repair out to our house. Anthony took all of 5 seconds looking at our washer to determine what was wrong, replaced the part and was going to let us pay out of pocket rather for a part that he knew was covered by the warranty. Two weeks later we are having the same issue with the washing machine. We make an appointment with Anthony. He is supposed to be here between 10 and 12. At 11:30 Anthony calls to let us know even though there is a warranty on the work he did we have to call the home owners people and pay another deductible before he can come out. Would have been nice to know before I took the time off from work. Do yourself a favor and find a better company!
