I have had several experiences with this company, initially I had ordered parts to repair a old 253 compressor, the service was fine and the parts were good. The next item I purchased was a new 253 compressor, when the head gasket blew in the 1st week it should have been a indication that I had a bum unit but I had a gasket and thought it not to be a big deal so replaced it and was back to working. The compressor used oil the entire time during the 1st year of operation or should I say 10 months when it blew up. Getting a bad unit could happen - not the end of the world, the unit was under warranty for one year. They requested me send the blown compressor to them for inspection - again no problem, I was willing to foot the bill. Running a 14 bay shop I needed a replacement asap, I ordered another new compressor, paid full price fully expecting to be reimbursed once the old compressor had been inspected. The next thing that happened was they claimed the compressor was run without oil and could not be warrantied stating because the seal did not blow out it could not have created excessive pressure to blow out the fill plug (even though it blew oil 8 from the compressor). After numerous calls, avoidance, and general run around I get a letter (6 months into it) stating spec of parts with no functional tests whatsoever. BOTTOM LINE...FIND A COMPANY THAT STANDS BEHIND ITS PRODUCTS - THIS ONE IS NOT IT !!!!
