Ordered a medium pizza. The size was more like a personal. And the pizza was super salty. The meatball parm are good. No complaints there. I ordered a turkey which they didn’t have. But they had Italian subs so I tried those and asked for chips with it, I told them exactly what I wanted on it. It came and I don’t even know what was on it. Some type of dressing not oil and vinegar. Some type of yellow peppers. Burnt fries. The sub tastes bitter. I wouldn’t order from there again.
My first time there and I am so happy!. I wanted so much on the menu! Service was awesome, and food yummy! Will go back real soon!

Ordered husband drunken mushroom burger and absolutely loved it.. Fries are great ...everything is FRESH AND HOT .. Delivery guy was really great also.. Will be ordering from them again.. He works in Charleston alot and Im happy I found a nice, clean place to get him Food when hes out of town ...

I’m continually impressed with Hideaway Pizza. Don’t let the name fool you. They have great food in addition to pizza. The Terminator burger is awesome and so is the Philly Cheesesteaks (and Pizza Steak). Their cheesesteaks rival any other in town. Pizzas have a nice thin crust perfect for folding especially if you get the 20” Ex Large. The Supreme and Quattro are great.
Great local James Island Pizza place. Great food and always on time. Delivery & pick up are very quick. I have never eaten inside at this location but Im sure that experience would be great as well.Definitely Recommend The Hideaway to anyone. Thanks for all you do
Consistency is key for this local JI goto. Great pies, fries, sammies and burgers. It’s an easy place to roll your bike up to for takeout and delivery is usually swift and reliable.
Well my sandwich was good but my wife is literally eating pasta in water after paying for extra sauce! It’s been months since we ordered from here, they even offered a discount but she doesn’t want anything for free just what she pays for. Please stick to what you’re good at and just take pasta off your menu!
Always have enjoyed hideaway but not tonight. Not sure what happened. Loaded fried are anything but loaded and spaghetti with meatballs plus extra sauce has no sauce. Sad part is hideaway has been a go to place for my family,but if this is the new normal Ill pass. Fries I can fix with cheese and a microwave and I guess Ill add sauce out of a jar even after paying for extra sauce, but hey the meatballs are good. Oh well....

Wow! This place is fabulous! Extremely friendly & efficient staff! Can’t say enough about that! It’s a small restaurant, but the pizza is awesome! Great flavor and great price! The salads looked huge and fresh! Wish I would have gotten one! Next time! If you’re ever in the Folly Beach area, it is WELL WORTH the small jaunt up Fort Johnson Road, just ‘round the turn around on your right. Ditch the tourist trap joints! Delicious!👍😍
Great food rude owner. I have been in a few times and he has always been very rude to us. Also seen other memebers of staff not being so nice to the other people working there.
Food was great but the indoor dining area was blocked. The price was great too.
Efficient and clean establishment. Quick take out and great food. If you are burger fan, the Terminator is highly recommended.

Pizza was flavorful, burger was great. Philly cheese steak was fabulous. Onion rings crisp and not greasy. While waiting, saw an order of their pepperoni rolls being delivered, will try those next time.
Very nice dining atmosphere. Oldies on the radio. Very popular for pickup, but dining in was great too. The loaded fries were amazing. The best loaded fries Ive ever had. We had the Corleone pizza which was the perfect Italian sub...on a pizza. Hands down will be back.
Man I gotta say I have had pizza all over the world including the famous places and ate the number 1 pizza in the US. But this little 5 dollar cheese pizza (wednesday special) was on point for the cost. The fries were also great. Love the dim lighting and the oldies music playing. Waitress Caroline was also great. Will come back! Thanks guys!

Second try on ordering from Hideaway. Ordered online and had a delivery time of 1 hr. No problem, it’s Friday night. Driver showed up at 1 hr 5 minutes, still no biggie. Once again Pizza was cold, mozzarella sticks were quasi warm at best, and Hot (spicy) buffalo wings were cool and more plain than tossed in a sauce. After last unfortunate order owner said a credit was applied to account, however when driver showed up, no credits were applied. While eating in at the restaurant may be a great experience, do yourself a favor and order delivery from elsewhere
We ordered pizza at 7:15 on a Sunday night. I then received an email confirmation and my credit card was charged. After an hour and a half, I called to check the order to discover hours of ooeoperat had been adjusted to Tuesday to Saturday due to a staffing shortage. So dont take my order and charge my card!!! Not my first bad experience with Hideaway. Pizza is great but not reliable or consistent.
Never had a bad meal here. Pizza and pepperoni roll was great. Wings were super good. The salad was delicious. Nice prices and friendly staff. Its a nice go-to when you want something close to home.
Our group ordered several items from the menu including the peanut butter burger and pepperoni roll which were amazing. However, the multiple pizzas we ordered were average at best. It was a dead night when we were there and our meals were not only served separately (almost ten minutes apart), but despite being a dead night took forever to arrive at our table!
We visited for my sisters birthday, at glowing recommendation from colleagues. We went and we were beyond pleased. The atmosphere is great, the service is great, and the food is amazing! Well definitely be coming back

Killer daily specials. Their pizza is solid but burgers are surprisingly great. I think Mondays and Thursdays are the best burger specials in town.
By far the best pizza in the south! (Im a former New Yorker) The delivery is fast and free. In the restaurant, the staff is friendly and helpful without being overbearing and wait-time is negligible. The pasta dishes are very good. Everything is reasonably priced for a family and they have a surprisingly good on-tap beer selection.Highly recommended.

Visited for the first time 8/6/16. Cozy place, and the pizza is pretty durn good, but the STAFF is awesome! Everyone is so friendly and extremely attentive. I think four employees said hi to me when I came in, and several people who were not my server even checked on me occasionally and asked if I needed anything. Good food, excellent service, great spot!

Im a cable guy so Im usually just eating whatever Im near when I have time to take a lunch if I didnt pack one. Popped into this place and got a Greek salad, which Im usually disappointed with down south as they lack the kalamata olives. Got it with grilled chicken, which was cooked tender and juicy. Greens were fresh, dressing was different and delicious, they stacked it with Greek olives upon my request. Best Greek salad Ive had down here in the two years Ive lived here. Staff was kind, welcoming and speedy. Great little place. Will return.

Ive been going to hideaways for awhile. Your foods good. Seems like alot of younger kids working the kitchen. Cooking the burgers too fast leaves the inside pink and people get sick. My boyfriend did right after. Very disappointing. Not to mention your burgers may be good but they are always sloppy. Not a good presentation... They did reach out to resolve our experience. So thank you, 5 stars!

Showed up with a total of 5 alittle before 9. Restaurant closes at 10. We were met by who I presume was the manager who said they are closing down one side of the restaurant and we could push some tables together in the front if we wanted. Literally everyone in there stared us down like how dare we walk in over an hour before closing. It was very clear that they did not want us there. We felt extremely uncomfortable and left. He made no effort what so ever to offer us to stay. All of us work in the service intustry and were really appalled. We live right down the street and we won’t be going back.

The last 2 times we ate at this restaurant something was burned. This time I mentioned it to the waitress and was told the chief said that if I wanted my food cooked less done I should have ordered it that way. He claims that is the way they cook it. So I guess they consider a calzone black, crispy and hard on the bottom the correct way to cook it and I need to ask specifically to have it not burned!!!! Also paying for a glass of wine and only getting a glass filled to less than 1/3 of the glass seems a little expensive for the wine.The correct answer from the cook would have been Im sorry it wasnt prepared correctly instead of telling me i didnt ask for it to be cooked properly for my standards.I wish them well in their ability to stay in business but we will not be returning to this establishment anymore.

Ordered 2 calzones from Hideaway tonight and both were completely under cooked. Raw dough and greasy - not what you expect for $10 a calzone. Tossed both in trash and will not be going back.

Hamburgers are good, but the service is not. Waited 30 minutes before someone took our order. This is the 2nd time.
Had a slice and a salad for lunch are server did a very good job as the only waiter on the floor the salad was very fresh with mixed greens and pickled onions(I liked very much) the slice was good a little burnt on the crust and a little small I will go back

I’ve been coming here for years. Mostly take out because we live so close. But tonight I decided to dine in as I had my nieces with me. It will be the last time I eat inside. We were 1 of maybe 3 tables in there. As it was only 5:30. We wanted to get in and out before the dinner crowd. We sat in the dining room near the arcade games. Every table had food left on it. I couldn’t understand why when it was seriously slow. The floor too had food all over it. I was shocked at how unclean. The topper was there were at least 12 dead flys in the window sills near our table. I have pictures to prove. Even on my way out in the window where the plants are, were more dead flys. Flys carry so many diseases, I don’t understand how it wouldn’t be one of the number one things on a closing or between shift list. I was super disappointed as hideaway is one my husbands I favorite places to eat.

Cibos is fast, friendly, and delicious. Although only one waitress is usually serving the entire restaurant, the service is always phenomenal and they are always cheerful. The food is not gourmet, but it is delicious and the portions are huge. You will never leave Cibos with an empty stomach or an empty wallet. Buon appetito!
