Went to purchase a hedge trimmer, the guy behind the counter never acknowledge me. He continued to carry on his personal conversation with someone else. I don’t have time for that nonsense..Obviously my money doesn’t mean much to some businesses, but i feel sure someone else would be more than happy to take my money… maybe you will have a better experience… good luck..

Called a few places last wk and they were all booked for weeks. I call Southern Lawn Equipment with a hoarse voice and the guy was very understanding and patient with me over the phone. He gave me a reasonable base estimate and when I picked up it was about what he quoted me for. My lawn mower looked as good as new! Mowed the yard as soon as I got home and very pleased with its performance. Thank you guys so much for getting my mower right!

Any warranty problems you may have can be easily solved through them. I have bought Scag, Echo, and Husqvarna products from Southern Lawn Equipment and any problems I may have concerning warranty is simple, easy, and very accessible. No issues, no complaints, and a very happy customer here!

Im their worst customer...Husqvarna mower purchased over 17 years ago! Recently started having trouble cranking. Quickly diagnosed as needing a valve adjustment. 1 pull every time now(Id bet on it). How are they ever gonna sell me a new one? Ive purchased all of my equipment here and all work flawlessly. Serviced when needed here. Buy quality equipment from experienced servicing dealers that actually know you....its real simple. Talk with them and you might learn how to not screw up your stuff and complain when it aint worth fixing.

I bought weed eater chainsaw and 61inch Snapper Pro over the last 5 years and I am very pleased with their service . Ive brought in many driver abuse issues or should I say self inflicted problems and I have to say they always get me going. They really take time to show me what or how to operate the new equipment so as not to have problems. I cant wait to get that Scag Cheetah sitting in the showroom. Awesome!!! David Swails
My experience with this business was by far the worst I have ever encountered. The employee was very unprofessional, and lacked knowledge of small engines. His demeanor should have been the first clue to the fact he was attempting to cover his lack of knowledge to do a simple adjustment to a weed eater or even have the ability to use the model number I provided to sell me a part. Most people with average intelligence could have accomplished this in 15 minutes of time. Then in turn would have gained a new customer who could have provided them with a moderate amount of business. Avoid this business if at all possible consumers, there others more deserving of your business.
“Authorized Husqvarna dealer” but do not honor warranties. Is that not an oxymoron.Did not call for authorized work as they promised to do. Did not call at all. Had to call them.A very dissatisfied customer.Lawn mower works but at a hefty price.

Zero Stars. Worst communication i have ever seen for a business. Had my riding lawn mower for one month, never called me to give me an update. I called at the end of the first week, said it would be ready next day, they never called me. I called the second week, they said their guy had it on the ramp working on it and would be ready soon, they never called me. i called the third week and got the owner, he said he put the repair on hold until he talked to me so that he could explain about the steering shaft yet he never called me. I asked for the steering shaft to be replaced anyway and even took them the part, was supposed to be ready last week--you got it, they never called me. I called today and they said they did not replace the steering shaft, but yet they never called me to let me know this. Absolutely the worst experience i have ever had with a retail business, horrible. I will never go back to this place, terrible customer service. This is not a warranty job, I am paying for this work. On top of all of this, they said I owe them 60.00, which i paid. So in a nut shell, I paid them 60.00 to keep my mower for a month, do nothing and aggravate the hell out of me. WOW!!!

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I took my lawn mower to these guys and asked for them to fix it. I received a call two weeks later giving me a quote that was too high so I declined it. I then received a call stating that they had repaired it with some used parts around the shop for 1/4 of what the original quote was. So I picked it up and paid them the money. Then when I got it home it was not fixed and even had some parts that were broken during repair that they wouldnt take responsibility for. This guy was willing to lose my business over 45.00 and to me that just isnt good business. Poor service, slow turnaround time, and I feel completely taken advantage of. I ended up eating the 45.00 dollars he charged me for the shady work and took the lawn mower to the junk yard.

Took two mowers in (one repair, one tuneup) and the turnaround time was as promised and price was reasonable, and they didnt try to sell me something I didnt need.
If I could give a no star-rating, I would. I went to the shop seeking a simple carburetor kit for a push mower. I had the old carb in hand and it couldnt be matched. The owner told me to leave and call back with the model number because he could not find the correct parts. I did just that, but upon calling, was told the owner was now busy. Three days later, Ive made a call each day and was assured I would be called back each time. I guess, unless they are going to make a lot of money off you, they cant be bothered.

I would not let these guys work on a tricycle.took in mower with bent deck! Got it back with the same problem and a large bill! Fixed it myself. Have been in there since exchange blade never happened! Been in to order a part they said theyd order,never happened. This last time the manager was a totally unprofessional! From now on Ill take my repairs to Northen Tool on rivers ave. Rip Offs.

I dropped my chainsaw off on December 12, 2014 and went to pick it up on January 31, 2015 more than ample amount of time for them to have it fixed. I called numerous times to inquire about the part that was supposedly ordered and the date it would be in and I got the run around EVERY time I called back.Picked the chainsaw up on January 31, 2015 and dropped it off at another equipment repair shop.I would not reccomend this shop as they have poor customer service and not very personable. Im 30 yrs old and will not ever return nor will my friends.Chris ThrushLadson, SC
