I went to Beads on Cannon, not to buy beads but to have a very special bead bracelet restrung. My beads had to be collected from all over my floor. Kelly was kind and very helpful. She took careful measurements of the beads I saved and told me that it looked close to all of them. When I came to pick up my restrung bracelet, Kelly and Wheezy (sp.?) had added new beads to make it even more beautiful! Such sweet ladies here..

Large selection. 2 floors packed. I liked it. Prices are competitive. I would love to give them more space. They have so much am sure I missed something. Great service..really good so kudos to their employees!

Great bead shop. I dont think itd be handicap friendly because Its a bit tight in the shop(also big step into the shop entrance) since its located in an older historic home but they had the biggest selection that Ive seen in a shop. The employees were wonderful and so helpful. I definitely return.

It was cramped, but the staff cant fix that. Thats just the nature of the house they were working in. They have a large selection of beads and gemstones. The only this is they are very pricey. You are better off going to Hobby Lobby. The treatment from the staff towards my mother was also undesired. She accidentally walked into a poorly marked Employees Only area and one of the employees treated her like a 3rd grader walking into the wrong bathroom. They also spoke poorly about another customer when she had left the room. If my mother chooses to come back, she can, but I will not be returning.

Beads on Cannon is the best bead shop around. They carry gemstones from agates to unakite in different shapes and sizes. The have findings for every project. The shop carries bead work beads like Delicas, daggers to superduos plus all the findings to match your projects. Parking is on the street and available. Every employee is knowledgeable about the beads and will assist you.

A little tight to move around in but very quaint. A tremendous selection of beads. Staff very social. Prices could be a little less on some things (in my opinion).

Friendly local bead store!!! Keep in mind they have a PACKED store. It is full of wonderful beads, tokens and supplies. It can be a bit much to get it all in. I would recommend that you leave children home, too much for them to grab onto. The help is kind, helpful and chatty. Love it.

I adore this cute little store. Owned and operated by SC natives Ive been coming here on and off for years for when I have crafts. They have such cute supplies and an extensive collection of assortments to choose from.

While the store has an interesting collection of beads, its overcrowded and has potential to offer more in terms of selection. Its perfect if you need seed beads or tiny, funky accents, but does not offer enough compared to some of the best stores Ive visited across the country. Id love to see more pendants, focal beads that arent just vintage, lamp work beads, metal beads, possibly displaying the selection you do have in a different way. I have to squat or sit on the floor to see literally half your selection because most of it is chest high to the floor. You are the best bead store in Charleston, you just have so much more potential. Your staff is wonderful and what you do have available is wonderful.

Really great bread store. Its narrow inside so be ready to squeeze past other shoppers but exploring into corners and finding treasure is what its all about. Upstairs has a great selection too. I brought my 4 year old, which I recommend trying to avoid doing, and one of the employees have him her full attention so I could shop. Great selection, above and beyond customer service!

An excellent experience at Beads On Cannon.. So many stones to choose from in this establishment... If your in to stones like I am... Its a must go by and check it out...

Marvelous inventory. Youve got to shimmy around in this quaint 2 story store which is chock full of beads made from semi-precious, precious, and other stones (not to mention wood, glass, and everything else). They offer classes a couple of times a month which are small and intimate, giving the student a lot of one-on-one time.

Wonderful selection of beads and beading materials in a quaint, little store on Cannon. The staff is a delight. I recommend if youre looking to support local and get away from Michaels or Hobby Lobby! (Nothing against them though).

I went to the store today and I had a great experience. The supplies are wonderful, diverse and reasonably priced. The salespersons were very knowledgeable and very patient. They made sure that I was getting what I needed, that I understood how to do it and that I was satisfied. My overall feeling was that I was among friends. I could have spent my whole afternoon there.

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. They have more than they can display. Ask for the sterling silver, moldavite, amber, special beads and cabochons under the counter. My favorite bead shop!
