The Scotchman Store on Maybank Highway on James Island is a well managed convenience store that is an excellent quick stop for snacks and drinks. They have a good selection of items available for good values and you can get on your way with what you need. The staff here is very helpful.

They are always closed or locked up at random times. completely unreliable

I live on Woodlan Shore Road this gas station almost 1 mile from my house.I didnt look at her name but this is the second time she has been very rude . gas station worker absolutely need more training to understand customer service if youre going to serve neighbors.

Cashiers are very rude and always on the phoneI walked up to counter with my items the girl behind the counter says it will be a min and starts doing a shift change with noone else there couple mins later the other cashier walks inThe place is dirty and looks like a scrap yardWill never go back horrible experience

The lady at the counter was very rude. Also noted after leaving that their prices are .50 higher than 1/4 mile down the road and for some reason air cost is 1.50 vs 1 or free everywhere else.Its also in terrible shape inside and out.I do not recommend.

I visit this store frequently. I am truly done with this store and how the night crew in particular treats the guests. I observed the new cashier card a gentlemen who clearly was in his 70s. I am pretty sure that this would be consideredd as a complaint but the tone and deamoner of this individual made it the opposite. So I was next to order and this same cashier was talking about the gentlemen in front of us, the patrons. I said something to her about her tone and demanor and she said that she would not serve me anymore. I will not cease and assit on this one. I want action. Also, this store has seen so much turnover it is just ridicuolus.One day at 6:30 PM the store was closed and then they reopened at exactly 6:45 PM to detour people from coming there for the last lottery push. I dont even play the lottery but the crowd of people outside came to this conclucsion. Until this store gets it together, I urge that everyone gives a review, to end the insanity. The day shift rocks. But the three new girls that was hired is complete trash. I mean utter trash. Dont work in an industry that requires you to interact with people.I would givef this store zero stores if I could

Shop attendant locked the door and left Halloween night with her child at 6 pm.. after yelling at a client about pricing. Left a sign that said “bathroom break” on door. Was there when I left and when I came back. Sad, really. Store owners lost a lot of money in the short time I was there.

This is a great store. I do a lot of business there.
