This store is the only place on King St that requires a reservation to shop there! I was there on vacation and could not get in while shopping King St. Not sure how you plan to stay in or retain business like that! I expect service not inconvenience. Big mistake as I was prepared to make alot of purchases in your store during my trip but Im sure another store will be happy

The Ben Silver Collection on King Street in Charleston is a great place to find upscale clothing for business and living. There is a tremendous choice of different styles for just about any need that you may have to be outfitted for. The staff here is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and can answer just about any question you have and can assist you with getting you the perfect piece of clothing or accessory that will work out perfect for you. This is one of my favorite places to shop for clothing in Charleston and I have the confidence and know that everything in here will look good and stylish. It is good to have a good and consistent place to shop that you can turn to when you need it the most.

They were extremely accommodating in several ways concerning some expensive English shoes which were and are essential to my present and future happiness. They are beautiful and smell good unlike my ex wife. Also, they have tongues but are QUIET! Ben Silver and his staff are premier Grand cru

I discovered Ben Silver during a trip to Charleston. The stores design and overall atmosphere reminded me of the best classic Men fashion stores in London, Paris and Milan. There is a true sense of legacy and heritage at play here. After just a few minutes browsing inside the store, it became clear that this is in fact a rare, one of a kind, gem which does not exist in this format on the West coast. The Ben Silver collection (fine fabrics, shoes, leather goods, eyewear and accessories) is exquisitely designed and timeless. Traditional suiting and outerwear, classic cuts, bench made shoes and an overall emphasis on meticulous construction point to the fact that attention to detail and impeccable workmanship are evident throughout this brand. Prices are fair and customer service was pleasant, knowledgable and non intrusive. I used to buy mostly from Ralph Lauren... until now. Ben Silvers Mens classic styles with a preppy American sensibility has won me over. Fortunately BenSilver.com has a good selection which I intend to purchase from on a regular basis until my next trip to Charleston. Highly recommend this iconic Southern fashion brand.

The is a top end, premier establishment with a long, esteemed history - which makes this rare and interesting. Incredible selection of high end clothing, shoes and accessories — while courteous, the staff seems a bit high brow — and not overly engaged or affable. Seems rather pedantic and stuffy. Didn’t have the size in the particular pair of shoes — and offered no options for exploring other options from the vendor. Quality of service and friendliness is not aligned withthe price points.

A true American gem and source for anglo neckwear.

I ordered a linen shirt from Ben Silver back in June, my 2nd one, Ive been to their store in Charleston. They said it would be around 3 weeks. End of July, havent heard from them at all, its been 5 weeks. Ask where my shirt is. Im told the factory took a week off it would be 7-10 days. That was 17 days ago. I have asked them to update me on the progress but they cant be bothered to reply to a simple email about my purchase. Avoid. They couldnt be less interested in helping you.
