Great place to pick up reasonably priced souvenirs; including tshirts, stickers, and shot glasses. Custom tshirts also available.

My and my Bf wanted to find other items that we couldnt find at the pervious souvenir shop a few doors down. So we placed our bag from the other store into the car and came into A Shore Thing. Upon entering the store my and my Bf was watched like a hawk by the female cashier kayce . True indeed she was friendly and spoke when we entered the store but she made sure we was in her eye range. As i took my time to pick out a few things my Bf stayed close then he ventured off to find what he was looking for at the other shop. So i noticed she was still watching us so i brought all the items to the front that we gathered so far. This made her relax a little and we shopped some more. Like i get it, people come in and steal things and haul- off but we are not them. Now we didnt have any book bags or purses. No other bags from another shop our hands were free. i just wanted to state that. My Bf and i found some very cool items in this store and was very happy about our purchase. Trying to do this review off the receipt only was no help. On the receipt the stores name is SPIRIT GIFTS II and it has a different address than the actually store itself. Inside the store is very neat and clean i truly enjoyed the store music. They sell beach related items from shot glasses to t-shirts & other gift shop related items. This was our first visit and this will be our last. and yes i have the right store!

Great store! Bought a dress there. Staff lady is very nice and helped me with right size. Very clean store. Dressing rooms are open.

My two daughters and I were T-shirt shopping while on a mini vacation. My oldest and I were looking at sweatshirts when the older snooty clerk says from across the store ( she never greeted us ) “ I only have those in medium and large “ . We hadn’t asked for a size or any information. We were definitely fat shamed and lest the store immediately. What happened to the days of making a customer feel welcome and accommodated?

It is always a pleasure to shop at this store when in Charleston. Great clothing and souvenirs and a very helpful and knowledgeable staff.

I got my mom this beautiful Lulu B cool- to the touch, sun protection dress; that doesnt wrinkle when she travels and takes up no room in her suitcase! OMG.. Thier dresses are so cute! Theyve got a great selection! So bright and fun for the beach and summers in the South!!Thank you to the ladies helping me out! They were fun, helpful and so nice! We enjoyed our time in their store! Btw, my mom loved the dress :) Now she wants more! Lol! We will definitely come here when visiting in Charleston!

Attempted to purchase tonight and instead, I left having felt insulted and without the item I selected. Apparently me and my 30 something year old husband and our huge bag from the Black Dog store make us look like the model of crime. First of all, the clerk followed us around the store. Im not sure if she thought we were going to shoplift or is she does it to everyone, but I could get over that. What really made me upset is when I went to make my purchase, I was fat shamed. The clerk, an older angry lady, made a snide remark stating that this material runs small and I should try it on, then she looked right at me and said well, is this for you? I told her I didnt appreciate her comments and left the shirt behind on the checkout counter. I would avoid this store at all costs and if the owner happens to be reading this, perhaps guide your clerk to keep her comments to herself - criticizing customers isnt a great business model.
