These guys gave me an awesome deal for the tint on my 2019 Toyota 4Runner. I was referred to them by a co-worker who takes ALL of his cars here. They didnt disappoint. For my tint they gave me lifetime warranty. It looks fantastic. It took about 3.5 hours to do all the windows except the front. So plan accordingly. Completely satisfied.

Brian set me up with a great pair of 6X9s and dash speakers...Included some customization dynamat and I am extremely happy. They did not upsell me at all and I am now looking at getting some bass work done. Not trying to upsell me in that area either. Definitely coming out saving way more $ than expected.

Honesty integrity and quality Brian and his staff did a wonderful job and treating me fairly.

Place only makes it due to Brian...wont go back unless only Brian does it all...and he cant because that man is taking care of everything. I appreciate his fantastic customer service to help fix the issues. I pray the spots come out of the back window and I that I can ignore the defects on the tiny triangle windows for the rest of my life...terrible place to go for tinting.Tint looks great thus far in half day since done and relying on info that tiny imperfections work themselves out during next week. Temperature difference is noticeable and great too! Bryan and front shop lady (not sure how to spell her name, so dont want to mess it up, maybe Osha or Ocean....) were very friendly and helpful. Easy to set up appt and was done when expected. Had a funky dealer issue and they handled it all with ease.BUTMy car was a mess on pick up...streaks all on outside which Bryan did try to clean up but it was everywhere, rolling down back lights, spoiler. Even inside the car! There were super tiny balls of adhesive goop inside, stuck to doors, seats, walls.....small pieces of cut/trimmed tint laying thru out car and stuck to outside of car, my console had spots of this substance on it and the rear view mirror looked as if it had been dunked in a bucket of this stuff..which was same stuff that was all on the outside of the car, sitting in the sun, baking on my paint.They scratched my car, rough pic attached. I hand washed and dried my car that morning before my appt and had to rewash it immediately upon getting home to get the stuff they left on it off and bam, small scratch/scrape...not acceptable. WHY would you not lay a cover over the door entrance to protect the very large side section of my car as you climb around??And final straw, asked lady when I dropped off for a call back from Bryan on price of a side strip I was thinking of repairing. Never got that call. When I asked her upon her call to let me know car was ready, I was told no time...was not told a price, just no time. Upon pick up as Bryan was doing his very best to clean up my car, he gave me price and said I should of mentioned it as they would of done it while they had it. But yet the tinter is telling the lady no time to do it, lady and tinter I guess decide dont even let customer know..and Bryan is in the dark on it all.Too much lack of communication and respect for my car and my time to bother with again. Over all - disappointed.

Can’t say enough about these guys. from advice to installation, they were pros. If you love listening to music in your vehicle, choose this place.

Went there to get back up camera reconnected and was told that the camera isn’t working because it is an older camera. Left and returned after getting a few miles down the road because the airbag light kept flashing. Took it back and got that usually happen with a Nissan. So, they “reset” it and told me it should reset after driving it for at least 30 minutes. If not call us back and we will have to reset the code. Needless to say I had to schedule an appointment so they could get the tool from the other store. Met a couple of people there who had to make several visits because of issues they had after their service. Still no camera. I won’t recommend this business/company.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This place is great. I’ve been bringing my car here for the last 6 years, having various things done including tint and audio. Over the last week I had the pleasure of working with Matthew and Oisha on installing some light bars, running wire and tinting my headlights. I picked my car up today and couldn’t be more impressed by Matt’s work. He truly takes pride in his work and it shows. Highly recommend Audio Evolution on Savannah Highway. These guys installed the radio head unit in my truck a while back. They did not connect the parking brake sensor so now that the radio Bluetooth settings are full, I can’t add any devices. The installation was clearly amateur and I’m having to completely replace the unit due to incompetent installation. I’ll be doing it myself. Sad stuff that the info is available on YouTube, yet a “professional” couldn’t do it right.

I stopped in and talked to John about tinting my windows and having some speakers installed. I was given a quote and I was very pleased with the price. I honesty thought it would of been a lot more expensive. We Agreed on a day to drop my truck off to have the work done. The work was done that same day and everything that was said to be done on my truck was installed. I was very pleased that the final bill was what John said it would be on the quote. It’s always nice when there isn’t any unexpected charges. I waited a week to write this review as I wanted time to look for any mistakes in the tint or where the speakers were installed. I can not find anything that is wrong with their work. I can honestly say everything that was done is perfect. I have bought many new vehicles that the tint was already done and I have always seen air bubbles or some kind of trash in the tint. My tint is perfect and my speakers that they recommended sound amazing. I am so pleased with their work that they have my business for life.

I came to Audio Evolution seeking advice on a botched hid install i had done previously this month. Christian gave me an honest opinion and came up with a solution backed by a price i could not refuse. Fantastic outcome. Friendly staff and very reasonably priced. Worst customer service I have ever experienced!!! Do not go here!!! I brought in my 2015 Honda fit for a amp and sub install. I had a JL audio amp and a 12w6 sub.($800 sub). Had an appointment at 2 pm. Dropped the car off at 10am. Went to pick it up at 4pm. Still not ready. Waited two more hours. When i finally get in the car to leave i turn on some music to test it out (typically an associate will be in the car to ensure you are satisfied.) I get in the car and the sub is not working. I tell them about it. They take a look and after another 30 min they come and tell me the sub is blown. Mind you they charged me for a bench test. I was upset, but the owner was there and quick to get me another (at this point i obviously assumed no charge.) The sub he tried to give me was a $250 sub. I told him that i would prefer the same $800 sub. Which the owner was quick to take action to look for a replacement. (I still assumed no charge). I left with reassurances that this would i be rectified. After two days of no action i decide to give the $250 sub a try since it had great reviews and im a pretty easy going guy. No hard feelings for blowing my $800 sub. ( I still think there is no charge). I show up and they get me a new ported box to go with the sub. I started typing a great review. Thinking ehh it is a third of the price but at least hes owning up to it. After the install they meet me outside to verify that i am satisfied as expected. The sub sounded great and i all was forgiven. I go in the assumed to just get a recipt. The guy at the counter says That will be $405. I looked at the owner and asked if he expected me to pay? He laughed and said Well yeah. Needless to say i was very disappointed and had them remove the sub. The owner gave all kinds of excuses and refused to own up to his companys mistakes. Please do not give them your business.On a side note. I also asked them to run the HDMI to the center console and they ran it to the glove box. Not as big of a deal

I traded my big car for a smaller one. However my big car had a backup camera and my pre-owned smaller car did not. My husband made several calls to different car places that install backup cameras and found Audio Evolution to be the most helpful and they were so kind and friendly. I took the car into them to be sure they could install one and made the appointment for the next day. They got it done in less time than expected and I absolutely love it!! Now Im happy with my new small car. Thank you Christian and Oshia! Your customer service is amazing!!

I went to audio evolution to get my rear window re-tinted. The tint had been on the car for 10 years. Due to that amount of time that the previous tint had been on the car, it was really bad coming off. It took 3 days to get all of it off. They stood by their original est. and did not change it. They took the time and did the job right the 1st Time. I would highly recommend their tint guy, Kevin to anyone. He takes pride in his work and won’t settle for less. The car that I took to them is my baby. I am a very picky about who I let work on it by the way.

Ive been told by other car audio shops that they couldnt do a touch screen double DIN install on my car before, and the one time I was able to get someone to do it, they did a crap job. I went to Audio Evolution and they did a clean, professional install in just three hours. Moreover, their inventory is price competitive with online retailers, and their service is reasonably priced. Would definitely come back again.

I had these guys apply self healing protection film to my car. I like the film—but I’m currently on my third visit back to them to fix the edges of the film. I believe the installer was in a rush. Currently I’m waiting in the waiting area and have yet to be checked in. They are busy and dismissive to me now that they have already collected my $1100. Very disappointing.

Toyota assured me that these guys were the real deal, and to beware of other hacks in town...So I paid a visit to Audio Evolution on Savannah Hwy, and Professional is how I would describe my overall experience. They helped me choose the best option for my immediate needs and didnt try to up-sell me on unnecessary stuff. They directed me towards a quality radio unit with a 2-year warranty that my installer told me he has in his own vehicle! The installation process was rather expedient, and they grant a lifetime warranty on their work.These guys are the real deal. In the past 6 months Ive had a van and a hatchback tinted here, along with a new set of speakers installed. In each experience I have had my expectations exceeded. The costs are up-front, the work is completed in the time described, and the work is of great quality (no bubbling, no vibrations, correct phasing, etc.). Best audio shop in Charleston!!!!!Got me in late on a sautday when my factory radio cut out, Stayed late to finish installing my new Pioneer Radio. Love the work they did on my car. I had 2 12inch subs in a box an i had 5 channel amp put in i had told them had $1200 budget and they made the most out of it and made sure my truck rattled to a min. I will be back to get some more work done for sure!!! Jay helped me out alot THANKS DUDE!

I had purchased a car recently and was having problems working the after market stereo. It had a lot of extra features and was one of the reasons I purchased the vehicle. I went in to AE and the staff was very friendly. They showed me how to work all the features. I had been considering the purchase of a different stereo and now am very happy. Terrible experience and communication trying to work Audio Evolution. Was treated very poorly, just extremely disappointed.

I have been coming here for last 5 years, it all started with my boat which then turned into over 4 cars that have had extensive audio work done. I have had other shops tint my car and AE was the best hands down. Its a one stop shop, I have had 2 boats done, my golf cart(loudest cart in south carolina) 5-6 cars and 2 homes worked on. I keep my business here and will continue to do so!

They are awesome. Brian isnt just proud of the excellent work they do, but the guys behind the great work as well! Im very impulsive, and they there were able to put a system in my car on a busy Friday (did I mention my request was at 2:00PM?). They do very clean work (he popped the hood and had to point out the system wiring because it blended perfectly with the rest of my car parts) not to mention the bass knob he installed in a discreet spot below my stereo just in case I need to tone it down. You dont see any wiring which says a lot. My car has newer electronic upgrades on it that would typically stump most and require conspicuous placement, but they were able to keep everything looking clean. Brian even threw in free advice to keep my system hammering longer! Ill definitely be going back for other work!

I bought a aftermarket android headunit from amazon along with a backup cam and took it AE for installation The company offer alot of services and have extensive knowledge. the installation took 3 hours and i waited in the lobby until the job was finished. i enjoyed talking to the staff and checking out possible future product installations. when it was installed i drove home to adjust the settings and preferences. everything worked until i drove it at night and noticed the hard buttons were not illuminated. i called AE and notified them and had them look it over as if they had not hooked up a wire. such was the case after the tech had explained to me that AE does not hook up illumination wires because they do not know what wire they go to and what polarity the wire is possibly frying a system. furthermore the tech explained to me how i can go about doing the rest of the installation myself. To which i believe was the point of having AE do so until 100% completion. not having this wire installed could of convinced me to do such project myself and saving a couple hundred bucks furthermore questioning future purchases.

These guys not only know their audio, but also will go out of their way to ensure that you leave a satisfied customer. Brian did an excellent job installing my iSimple auxiliary kit in my Infiniti FX35. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to modify their vehicles electronics.

They are bad neighbors..... they do not consider that they are next to a residential neighborhood and blast stereos loudly at any given time of day.
