Worst car buying experience I’ve ever had. My daughter and I both purchased cars from here. They are NOT a certified used car dealership. Less than 3 months after purchasing my car, it had to be TOWED to the dealership. I was lied to about the oil change. I was sold a car with no brakes, no rotors, an inspection sticker that had been dead for 2 years because they didn’t inspect it. Bald tires. Couldn’t pass inspection. My daughter’s catalytic convert went out at 33,000 miles which is on recall and an epa violation, not to mention the BOTTOM OF HER CAR FELL OFF AND IS IN MY TRUNK. run. I was told my oil was changed 3 days before I bought it. Liars. I will be down to drop my daughters car that has fallen apart as well as my car which was glued together in front of the sales floor so anyone looking to buy from them will know what they are purchasing. LEMONS.

Do not ever go to the Dutch Miller dodge service center. They charge way to much for oil changes and they dont fill your fluids. I called and spoke to service manager about my fluids being empty. He acted like its no big deal that my fluids were not filled during oil change. He didnt even care. I would never recommend this service center for your vehicle!

My mother in law called this morning to get her Kia an appointment to have oil changed and she spoke with an Alex and she told him that she needed a new rim and tire so he made appointment for this afternoon at 330so she took it down and was told that he mis understood what she needed and said they have to order rim and tire and told her to just becareful and the rim and tire would be here in 5 to 7 days she is 77 years old and has dr appointment to go to and she has to drive an unsafe kia because Alex miss understood her Her husband made sure before he passed away that the car had an extended warranty but nobody told them about needing a separate warranty on rim and tires so she had to pay close to 800.00 that she didnt have being on a fixed income this is really dirty to do someone this way andunprofessional Thanks Alex at the South Chareston location (If you dont understand someone you should say so)

Great service department. From day one when we purchased our Seltos, they have been on top of it. We had an issue at 2300 miles with a low oil pressure light. Being a new engine to their vehicles, they weren’t able to diagnose the cause quickly so to be safe they replaced the engine even though it actually had oil pressure the entire time.Since then they keep getting me with the oil change an rotate tires coupons.. hard to beat the price so I take it on in to them, I usually do my own oil change too so that was tough at first. But they are a great team.

Made 3 calls on different days and got a different person each time. All I did was say a friendly how are you doing. FINE - WHAT CAN I HELP WITH?!?! I guess I am bothering them when I call??? They extremely low balled my wifes used car trade in. Wanted to give her $7,500, Moses gave us $11,500 for the same car. I went to the webpage and did a pre-approval, no one called me. I clicked ask for more info and no one called me. Ive bought a car here in the past, I wont be doing it again. Seems like they dont want to sell a car anyway.

They still wanted to run some points on my credit to make it look like i dealt with them and not directly through the manufacturer of the truck.So they smacked me on my but and told me go to moses. They take great care of my wife’s vehicle, never a head ache or trying to slip something in on us. Very quick to let us know what they may find. We was actually being taken advantage of from a company around us that was doing the maintenance work, but we took it to Dutch Miller for a recall and oil change and they sent us pictures of filters that I’ve been paying to have replaced. I will be dealing with them only from here on out.

I had a bad experience with their service department. I contacted them to discuss it directly and never heard back from anyone. They had my car for three weeks and they never answered the phone or returned calls regarding my car. When I picked up my car, it was a mess and they put just enough gas in it to get me to the closest gas station. This is how they feel about their customers. This is after raising the cost of repairs after the insurance got involved.

I purchased a brand new Kia k5 it broke down at 1,200 miles and they have NO PARTS... then wouldn’t give a rental car because enterprise has no cars! They have been zero help !! I would never recommend them to anyone ever!

We ended up getting a 2022 Kia Carnival SX Prestige. We waited about a month for it to be delivered. Apon delivery We went in to finalize ppw and there were a few hiccups in terms of what was said and what happened. This may have been miscommunication but after getting over the hiccups I can say I was pleased with the experience. Normally being someone that works in auto finc. I dont purchase warranty services but for the price and the length of time its good for Im very happy with my choice. We have had the car 1 full day now and have gone 200 miles and love everything about our purchase.

Two stars is not for the service I received as it was quite adequate.. This was the first oil and filter change for.my 2016 Kia Sorento that was purchased 12/31/2020 and driven 2900 miles in 4.5 months and the oil level was down 50% or 2.5 quarts. The service reps said that even though my car is Kia Certified Pre-owned with 41000miles that excessive oil.consumption is NOT covered under Kias not so inclusive power train warranty and.to say I was stunned would be an understatement. Oh but I do have the absolutely wonderful option of Kia performing an oil consumption test that I was told would involve 4 or 5 visits and cost me $2000. Hopefully this issue can be resolved to my satisfaction.

Bought a used car from Dutch Miller Subaru on 4 19 2021. Took till may 28. 2021 to take possion of it.Heard one excuse after another why it was taking do long to get car. Aftet i picked it up it had new inspection sticker on it. Has 7 yr old dryrotted tires on it.Now i have to buy new tires for it.

We bought our Kia Soul here and the entire experience was so easy. Allen was so friendly and sociable. It wasn’t like dealing with any other car dealership at all. He greeted us with a smile, was very helpful, and well exceeded the expectations of any car salesman I have been around or heard of. He went above and beyond to make sure we got the Soul we wanted, showing us multiple options of colors and trims. It felt like we were car shopping from a friend rather than buying from a car salesman. Once we got to the financial department, Jake kept the greatness going. It felt like we were talking with an old friend rather than financing a car. The whole experience went far beyond what I had expected. Thank you guys for going above and beyond for your jobs, we really appreciate that we made 2 new friends yesterday! We definitely will buy from here again if we ever need another car. The salesperson was very helpful, however I stressed that XM radio was a must have because I live in an area without cell phone service and can’t even get FM stations very well. I asked several times if the car had XM radio and was told yes and that I would receive 3 months free. I did not know that the car would only play XM through my cell phone app and therefore I have no radio in the area I live. There is no way to add XM to this car, the screen is only an extension of your phone screen so all apps are the ones you have on your smartphone. I am currently trying to find a way to remedy this problem without radio. According to what I can find online your cellphone will not pick up satellite signal for this and so I am using my data whenever I do get cell service to play radio. This should have been disclosed to me, this feature should be added to all cars instead of Apple play, I would have never purchased a vehicle with no way of listening to music.

They have the worst service department ever. Last summer they ordered a part for my air conditioning unit. Said they couldnt replace it because the rechargeable unit was broken. Almost a year later and no phone calls and when I called and asked I was told they sent the part back and I would have to try again. This is unacceptable.

I didn’t buy a Kia. There was a Chevy Cruze in the used lot, 2016, excellent condition, driven regularly, but the mileage wasn’t bad. I checked out the car, my husband and I both drove it, so I went inside to sign the papers. I knew what I was willing to pay, and there was very little discussion about a higher payment. I was treated respectfully, and dealt with honestly and fairly. The staff spoke to ME, not my husband, unlike so many other places we’ve been. It took an age to complete the paperwork! But it was worth every minute.

I took my moms 2014 Kia Sorento to Dutch Miller Kia in Charleston on April 24 for an oil change. About 30 minutes into the appointment, my service adviser Dennis came into the waiting room to talk to me. Dennis informed me that all four brakes on the car were basically gone, down to the metal. Dennis said that the brakes were so bad that the car was unsafe to drive, and told me that I would have to sign a waiver of liability if I even wanted to leave without getting them replaced that day and quoted me over $400 to change the brakes on all four tires. My brother happens to be a certified Kia mechanic and I was not about to pay over $400 to have the brakes changed when I knew that he could do it for just the cost of the parts. Two days later my mom took the car to him to have the brakes replaced only to discover that all four brakes were perfectly fine. By his estimate, they had about 10,000- 15,000 miles left before they needed replaced and were by no means dangerous. He could also tell that the mechanic (whose name I do not know) hadnt even pulled the tires off of the vehicle to inspect the brakes. My brother sent me pictures of the brakes, and even my untrained eye can see that there is nothing wrong with them. (Pictures attached)Obviously, this was very troubling to me, as Ive had bad experiences with dealerships in the past who have tried to take advantage of me- Im assuming because Im a woman and they think Im an easy target. On April 29 my mother and I both called Kia to complain about this and spoke to Paula. Paula ensured me that she was going to talk to both Dennis and the technician to determine what happened in this situation, and that she would let me know as soon as she found out what happened. I have yet to hear anything from her or anyone at Dutch Miller regarding this situation, and its obvious that Dutch Miller Kia is not concerned that either their mechanic or their service adviser intentionally lied to a customer in an attempt to have unnecessary and costly work done. Ill also note that the final paperwork I received from the dealership doesnt say anything about needing brakes replaced, and Dennis conveniently forgot to have me sign the waiver of liability. The multi-point inspection that they complete during every service call has the brakes marked as may need future attention, which is a far cry from unsafe to drive or down to the metal as I was told by my service adviser.Customers, BEWARE. If you go into this dealership to have work done to your car, and they inform you that additional work needs to be done immediately make them SHOW YOU the problem. Better yet, take your car somewhere else for service.UPDATE: As of May 22, 2019 I still have NOT been contacted by anyone at Dutch Miller Kia, despite being told on this Google Review as well as my Facebook review that a manager would be contacting me. Again, I caution you against using this dealership as they clearly engage in deceptive practices and have made no attempt to resolve customer complaints.

Kia service is quick to get an appointment and the professionalism is well above normal. Always courteous. Even though they are busy, you never hear them rushing you through. I would like to see the waiting room area stocked with snacks like they used to and bottles of water. I looked forward to fruit or crackers. They haven’t had this for awhile now. Maybe some people were taking advantage of this and stealing, so why not move it to the checkin area where there are eyes to watch.
