Jen was absolutely amazing. And one of the sweetest people I’ve ever encountered! Went to have 2 dermals removed that had been placed 2 years ago, the process was super easy and painless. And there will be little to no scarring 😊 and they are the only piercers I’ve found that will actually remove them in the Charleston area.

Amber and Jen are amazing piercers. Went to Amber to have a botched septum piercing fixed (she wasnt the one who botched it) and went back to have a nostril re-pierced. Jen was part of the consultation and while there I realized that she was the one who pierced my daughter several years ago. Definitely a high quality studio with artists who give attention to detail.

Max did a really amazing job on my tattoo! I get compliments about it all of the time! Was looking for a new place and Ill totally be back! Love the vibe of the place and who doesnt like listening to the Greatful Dead? He totally listened to what I wanted and fixed it right up and even fixed a small detail that I noticed before we started, no arguing what so ever. Someone drew this special for me, and he didnt take anything away from it! He did it exactly how the paper showed! What a stellar place! Will be back for sure, babes.

The staff was very friendly and prices are reasonable.Make sure to look for the entrance door as its a little hard to see from the street.The shop is downstairs in the basement of the building.

Not please with this place. Max was extremely rude to us and would not listen to what we had to say at all. “Didn’t have time” for our tattoo but had time to make us wait an hour? Very argumentative definitely won’t be back :)

Kevin has done 4 tattoos for me. One was a cover up and he did a phenomenal job. You cant tell what was there before. He was super professional, as my first idea just didnt look right on that part of my body. So he asked me questions and helped me come up with something totally better than my original idea. I need to get in and see him asap. I love everything he does. He is so worth the wait. He is an amazing artist.Edit: went in today 1.4.21 and Amber did 2 piercings for me. She was great. Explained everything and was super sweet. I love this shop! It is the best in Charleston. Thank you again!!

This is more a review of Black Eagle since I havent been to the shop but most of my interaction has been with Hans and Max. Hans is amazing. All the work shes done for me is great. Max is a great guy whos fun to talk to and gave me one of my first tattoos and its still bright orange. Ill definitely be booking a tattoo here soon. Max does seem like he charges more than some of the others there.

I have received numerous tattoos from most of the artists and I will always consider these artists and this shop the best in West Virginia and surrounding states. They are all very friendly and funny while being full of talent. The prices are never expensive and the quality is always extraordinary. Piercings are done by a wonderful professional who is friendly and knowledgable.

Got a standard helix and forward helix piercing, Amber did an excellent job. Very thorough during the consultation process and a very pleasant experience overall. Will be back again!

Max has been doing my tattoos for over 10 years now. Even while living in Richmond VA, a city absolutely riddled with tattoo parlors, I make the trip to Charleston to let him work his craft. The shop is clean and comfortable and the staff will make sure you get a piercing or tattoo you can be proud of.

I’ve been tattooed by everyone here, pierced and had jewelry changed. If you want a shop that’s going to tattoo whatever you want and just take your money, this is not for you. I have watched the tattooers explain why certain things wouldn’t work, while offering alterations; same with the piercers when it comes to piercings that are cute and trendy, but can be damaging long term. There isn’t a price tag on their integrity and that’s important when you’re trusting someone with body modification.

I was pierced by Jen in 2019 and I was very pleased. I received a labret piercing and she was professional, friendly, and used good piercing technique. Definitely will visit again when I want another piercing 💜

Jen is great piercer. Last four piercings were from her, and plan on getting the rest of the work from her. Everything healed great, and have been able to gauge up with no problems.

Ive gotten three tattoos from Hans so far, and absolutely love all of them. One of the most talented artists in the state, and who I send all my friends to. I want to stop by for one from Max too as well.

I had my left ear with a Daith piercings and a Tragus piercing in my right by Jen. She is wonderful. I am thinking about getting more piercings here soon. Plus a tattoo.

They want an arm && leg for simple piercings, they wanted $150 for venom bites when every other shop I called only charges $60
