I called and spoke with Davis who understood exactly what I was looking for. He had great recommendations, and I went with them. Not only did he make it a cinch, but he was able to have the beds delivered within the week that I had ordered them, AND they were half the price of the mattress store you see on every corner. He sells much higher quality mattresses, too. Super easy, super informed, super reliable!!

The absolute best service! Gina and Davis were so kind and helpful. We live in Michigan but have a rental home in Charleston that we were trying to furnish remotely. For several days, Gina worked with me via text and phone coordinating to find a mattress/box spring/ frame and a headboard in a short time frame before the renters arrived. Do not and I mean do not go ANYWHERE ELSE! They are so patient, and very knowledgeable! After years of having lumpy old mattresses my back couldn’t survive another night. I needed a change and boy did I get one! I’ve never felt so confident and satisfied about a purchase. Also if you have kids don’t be shy about bringing them, they were absolutely amazing with my son and made me bringing him stress free (I didn’t feel judged for my son). For now on if anyone in my life needs a mattress this will be the only place I send them!

He knows his competition well and is up to the challenge of providing his clients with quality mattresses at a price that is hard to match in the Greater Charleston area. Dont be fooled by the lack of size for this shop. It is small, but the selection it holds is amazing. After extensively searching some of Charlestons leading providers of mattresses, I selected a type (and size!) of mattress that I did not initially intend to purchase. Having now slept on the Goldens 6 Reflections Euro-top (in a California King) for nearly three months, I can say I definitely selected the right composition and size of mattress. We purchased a 6 Latex Reflections Queen mattress and box springs from Charleston Bedding. My husband was having chronic back pain and nothing seemed to help. Because of the previous reviews I decided to make Charleston Bedding Matress my first stop. Thinking I would never get a matress on the first stop. Do not let the size of the outside store fool you. I am new to the area and I bought 3 mattresses (2 queens & 1 king) two months ago. I waited to write this to give me time to use them. I highly recommend Charleston Bedding to anyone. The owner went out of his way to when ever I had questions and even met me after showroom hours. The delivery personnel also were very accommodating. As for the mattresses I extremely pleased and would not consider buying any where else in Charleston and they are very affordable.

My wife and I bought a King size mattress from here in August and it was a great move. The mattress was $1,500, its just as good if not better than your top of the line mattress. They took are old mattress with them after delivery at no extra cost and we also bought a mattress cover for $100 that protects your mattress for up to 10 years, but I only had to pay $50 since I paid for the mattress in full. My youngest daughter recently had an accident on our bed and if it wasnt for the mattress protector it would have been a real mess. We bought the best, comfortable latex mattress here at a great price & significant discount from the big box/national retail chains. Richard was extremely helpful, listening to what we wanted then recommending the best fit, with no pressure to buy more than what we needed. When the first was too firm, he swapped it for another without any hassle. With that great service we went back a few months later for a replacement box spring which also was about 25-30% less than the closest competitor. I purchased an mlily foam mattress from another store which was very uncomfortable and caused me back pain. I decided to come here after reading all the great reviews and was so glad I did. Last Sunday my husband and I decided we needed a new bed. Charleston bedding is closed on Sundays, so I emailed them asking to set up a time and gave my phone number. Rich called me within the hour and said he would come in and show me what they had. He asked all the right questions to find the best option for us and didnt push at all toward one model or another. I got the same bed, with frame, and delivery that we wanted at another box store for $2000 less. I really was impressed that Rich would come in on his day off, give me honest feedback on what would be best for us and save us so much money. Delivery was fast and we have never slept better. I would highly advise checking them out before buying from anyone else.

I visited a Mattress Firm and a Sleepys and they were both akin to mom and pop used car dealers in their aggressiveness and sleaziness. Then I fell down a rabbit hole of online reviews of bed in a box companies, all of which seem to disguise the same mediocre, overpriced memory foam mattress with fancy packaging and clever marketing. WOW! My husband and I moved to Charleston about 6 months ago and needed a bed for our first apartment. Wed shopped for mattresses in Philadelphia, Savannah, Wilmington, Charlotte and Charleston for months. Mattress Firms lowest quality mattresses were in the thousands - more than we were willing to pay for bottom-line junk... and Americas Mattress was so cheap we didnt find a single bed that didnt cramp our backs. This is not to mention all the other retailers we tried like Sears, Sleep King and Macys. Then we found Charleston Bedding and weve been SO PLEASED with their business. Weve had the mattress for around 6 months and its just as firm, comfortable and pillowy as the day we bought it. It was the most comfortable mattress wed found and it was also the least expensive! Were very, very happy with Charleston Bedding, the service we received, and the selection... and we plan to use them for all our mattress purchases from now on!

Incredible experience. I rarely leave Google reviews but this deserves it. The owner met me on his off day last minute. He is very knowledgable about mattresses and got me exactly what I asked for. His prices are amazingly lower than anywhere else Ive seen and his knowledge and demenor were great. In general, mattress shopping is a pain but this place made it a fun easy and fast experience. The small business atmosphere and honest customer service makes this my most enjoyable buying experience in memory. If you are serious about buying a mattress, youd be a fool to not come to this place.

Purchased a Lexington cool gel Hybrid mattress and I love it. Its very comfortable and at a great price. The guys there treated me very well and the delivery and haul away went very smoothly with them being on time almost to the minute. I had purchased a bed for my guest room from them about 5 years ago so going back when it was time to replace my old Tempur-pedic was a no brainer for me.
