Probably the best car buying experience Ive had and Im a 64 year old woman. Because of Carfax I knew the condition so I was comfortable with making an application online and was approved within the hour. They were very accommodating on the down payment, helping me the way I needed help. They picked me up and brought me to the business and the license plate and registration was included in the price. I was told that Mr. Windham is very particular about what he purchases at auction and my insurance broker knows the family and said I was in good hands. I certainly felt that way. I will do business with them again and recommend them. Im happy to know Ive supported a small family business.
I wanted to thank everyone here for my new Grand Cherokee. I told Brad what I was looking for and two weeks later he had it for me. Exactly what I wanted. Normally buying a car has been a hassle and a big deal, but not today. The whole process was simple and seamless. The staff were incredibly helpful, professional, and went out of their way to make it easy. I am so excited and love love love my Grand Cherokee. Found a great price online for the kind of used car I was looking for, so drove over there at the first opportunity to check it out. Many other dealerships listed cars online at enticing prices but when you stopped by to look they were already sold and I was finding the process frustrating. Windham Motor Company is a small family owned place with very friendly, helpful staff and I got in there and left with my new car in the amount of time it would have taken for me to schedule a test drive at one of the bigger dealerships. I love the car I bought and it is even better than I was expecting when I looked at it, sold at a very fair price. I also prefer to support small local businesses so I can definitely recommend Windham Motor company to anyone looking to purchased a used car!

The easiest and best car buying experience Ive ever had! Because its a small business, I was hesitant that having my financing before walking in the door would kill the deal. Not at all. Very helpful, they had the vehical we were looking for at a good price.Wed spent all day car shopping and their customer service was the best of any place we went.They werent trying to stretch our budget by showing us the cars just above, they got us into what we wanted and it was straight forward.They showed us the car we came to see and we bought it.
I drove 3 hours to buy from this lot. The truck I was interested in turned out to have more blemishes than I could see in the pictures. They sold me a truck that I feel like was a nicer model, and to make up for the inconvenience of the other truck, they lowered the price without me asking. They treated me very well, and I highly recommend them.

Bought a car from them paid cash bought the extended warranty, a month later had to buy a brand new car because of all the problems this car had and the warranty was a joke it didnt cover anything that was wrong and they refused to answer any questions and hung up on us. Be better off going to Hoover or another reputable dealership and avoiding these fly by night places like the plague.
Fair warning do not trust this place. I did not purchased a car from them and I would highly recommend staying away. I test drove a car there, as soon as I started the engine the screen had a check engine notice, brakes were clearly grinding because the sound was so loud. Also, the tires pulled to the right, asked if I could have my mechanic check it out and was told that would be fine but price stays as is....well that would be fine if it was priced accordingly with the working condition of the car. I would not trust someone who would knowing sell a car that has obvious engine issues, also not acknowledging it in the price. Point is they bought it at auction and they dont car if it runs or will last only if they make money off it. Might be a solid business plan but zero consideration for the consumer.
Non-disclosed frame damage! Went to trade in and was told it had frame damage on car-fax! Specified that dealer was aware! I would never have bought a car at full price with frame damage. Cost me 6000.00 the difference on trading in a good vehicle and one with damage.
Text Scott about a car at 7am and had a response within 30min. Scott was very polite on the phone. I can say enough about the quality of service Ezra and Steave gave us. My wife and I drove down from Columbia SC and drove home in a very very nice car at book value with no pressure from anyone! Defiantly worth the drive down.

Bought an 04 Dodge Ram. Salesman didnt want me to take it on the highway. He said traffic was bad. Was promised a 90 Day powertrain warranty. Four days later I took it to a mechanic because of an awful noise at highway speeds. It needed a complete rear differential rebuild. Mechanic told me that the dealer obviously tried to hide it. There was fresh sealant on the cover and brand new fluid inside. Talking to the manager was like talking to a wall. He kept insisting over and over that he said and did things he NEVER did. Swore that the salesman would NEVER promise a warranty. In the end he pretty much called me a liar and wouldnt discuss anything. Customer service was great until they get your money. Then you arent worth their time anymore. I didnt even want him to pay for repairs. I just wanted to see if they would help with anything at all. DO NOT GET RIPPED OFF BY THEM!
I am highly disappointed in the turn of events with this purchased. I must say that Ezra does an excellent job as a sales representative. He can obviously sell anything. However as a group they dont mind selling you a troubled vehicle. I purchased my vehicle in March of this year. 10k $ later and every other month since I have had to had a major repair on the vehicle. I was given a 30 day warranty that covered practically nothing and when you contact the warranty people they seem to be unaware of the warranty at all. Contacting them is and was waste of time because they have received their check and have moved on. In the words of Ezra Its your baby now! I will never tell anyone to go to Wyndham nor do I care to see what lies that will be posted under this to try to make me or the readers feel better. Along with this vehicle being my baby its also now my problem! Thank you Wyndham for making my first car buying experience as bust. My advice to you all: buy a car from a reputable dealership. It may be expensive to start but it is worth in the long run. Again please dont come back with simple comments to make what happen look small. I have emails that will show exactly how uncaring the company is a group. Oh by the way my truck is currently in the shop! lol...Happy Thanksgiving!

I couldnt give them a better review. Saw a truck online and gave them a call. I asked about the online price i saw and they told me about an even btr price for the same car they placed in the paper. Other places would have been happy to start at the higher price, but they were honest. No games either, what you saw was what you got. They encouraged me to have the car looked at and even dropped it off at my mechanic! How many places would do that? Once i got the green light from my guy, the rest of the deal took 30 min. All in all the whole thing took less than an hour of my time. They had the paperwork queued up and ready to go. Its hard to find honesty in the used car business, i found it here. I would definitely use them again!
I just bought a 2015 RAV4 today, and only have about 20 miles drive time, so I cannot report on satisfaction with the car, but ... I was very happy with the sales person who helped me, Ronnie Bagwell. He took time to talk with me and answer my many questions, before and after the sale. Ronnie was very responsive when I called or texted. It was more like working with a friend than a car dealership. The deal I got was fair (they dont haggle), and Martin made the process of closing the deal very easy. I did get a better offer for my old vehicle from Carmax; but they are 5 minutes away, so even that was a simple process. I recommend Ronnie as a sales person with whom you can have a discussion and expect honest and fair feedback, without the typical pressure to buy.

This place has more inventory than they should...they cant keep up with it. We visited here for a specific car that was listed online. The price had just been dropped. Upon arrival, the salesman couldnt locate the vehicle despite seeing it on his inventory sheet. He said it was possibly offsite for cleaning or something but didnt have any more information. Strangely, nobody else had a clue either. When we looked at some other vehicles the salesman didnt know anything about them. We left a possible trade-in car at the site for two hours but they still didnt have a value for it by the time I returned. Everything about this place feels sketchy and makes you feel kind of uncomfortable. Best to find a place where the staff know their products.

I normally dont mess with Reviews, but I really think the boys @ Windham-Select really earned a 5 Star Review. I spoke with Scott (Internet Sales) on the phone prior to coming down and explained how far away I was (3.5 hours each way) and he spent the time with me to answer all my questions. After being assured the truck was as nice as it looked & while I had to put a deposit on it to hold it for a day, he assured me they would refund my deposit, if it was not all I had hoped it to be.After I was able to get down there, a Salesman (Johnny) put up with all my shenanigans and a very long test drive....lolI had a couple small issues in reference to the truck, but Scott and General Manager (Steve) worked quick to resolve the issues. Long story short, I got a great truck at what I feel was a good price and would definitely buy from Windham again, despite the fact it was a very long drive down there.Thanks again fellas
I only gave this one star because it required one to write the review. This is the worst, lying, unprofessional disorganized dealership. I purchased a used vehicle from them 2 weeks ago, only to find the day after I drove it off the lot my engine light came on, needed an oil change, alignment, new brakes and rotors and had a suspension issue, the bluetooth in the car didnt work and the speakers were blown in the right rear side. They never showed me any features about the vehicle and refused to work with me in regards to the repairs the vehicle needed. The communication is terrible and it was the worst experience I have ever had in purchasing a vehicle. STAY AWAY if you want a professional, honest, and easy car purchase. They are lying disorganized and unprofessional salesmen, and they are very defensive and disrespectful on the phone when you address anything that is against them. I wouldnt even give this a one star.

My experience here has been one I will never ever forget. I wish I went to honda instead. The guy that sold me the car was ok at first and tried to flirt etc. Then when I told him about issues I was having with my car he didnt listen nor try to drive the vehicle himself to discover the problem but instead blamed me for going to get a different tire. Which to me seemed like pointing the finger at the person who sold me the tire. And he also stated he felt something when was test driving it with me but when he got in front of the people in the office. His conversation and demeanor changed. I finally was able to get a manager and requested he drive the car which he did. He then agreed that there was an issue on why I couldnt drive above 65. He told me to go to Firestone. I went and found out that the tire in the front passenger had fix a flat in it. Who puts fix a flat in a vehicle they are selling. I am also having other issues with this honda but I rather not go to get blamed for something being wrong with the car and how its my fault again. This has taught me a valuable lesson. I will for now on buy my hondas at a actual Honda dealership for now on.
Not sure why they would not pursue selling a car to me. Went 2 times and showed interest never a call back or follow up. Graciously took $91 off the price only to add on a $349 closing fee on a buyers order that was never discussed. I took buyers order to my bank and got approved only to see car gone on website or would never have known. Wanted to buy a Camaro only to be redirected to a buick... Waste of my time and gas traveling from Summerville to West Ashley.
It is unfortunate that there are no lemon laws in South Carolina. It allows dealers like Windham to sell you a car and have no responsibility once you drive off the lot. Within a few days, I noticed there was a problem and nothing I could do. I have learned it is not a problem that suddenly appears, so they sold me a car knowing of the existing problem. They are caricatures of used car sales people.

Vehicle was represented in-accurately. Spoke directly with internet salesman. He did not disclose everything wrong with the car. I put a deposit on the car and drove 3 hours to purchase it. I ended up walking away and driving home in my current car due to too many issues. Examples include but not limited to: no floor mats, multiple holes in the drivers seat, no key remotes, warped rotors, poor dealer cleaning/prep, rear window defrost did not work, no power seats as advertised. Lastly very low trade in value was offered. Very disappointing day.

I had a great experience purchasing a car through Windham Select. I was upside down on my current car loan and knew I would have trouble rolling over what was leftover to a new loan on a decent vehicle with low miles that I was interested in, but the staff at Windham took on the challenge and came through tremendously. On the first day, after running my credit application and test driving the Mustang I was interested in, we couldnt get a lender to pick up the loan with my specific situation. It was getting late and they told me that they may have someone they can contact whod be more willing to work with us on the deal but that they wouldnt be available until the morning. So, the next morning I called and they were still having trouble finding a lender and told me theyd call me as soon as they hear something. Sure enough, they called me back a few hours later and got a better deal than I was expecting or that I could have hoped for. Bottom line, theyll help as much as they possibly can, theyll be up front with you, and wont put you into a risky or unreasonable situation like a lot of other places in my experience. They also called me back to the lot after the purchase to explain how to get back a refund on my remaining gap insurance coverage that I had paid for with my previous vehicle which I had no idea I could do and had the required documentation waiting on me. Absolutely recommend!
