I have great trust in the service the dealership provides, and part of that is due the service Courtney provides. I know dealership prices are typically more expensive than other mechanics, but with the dealership being so close to my house, the fact that I can get a loaner pretty much any time my car is being serviced, and that I fully trust the work the Volvo Service team does - the price is very often worth it.

With the current chip shortage, they found a car configuration that worked for me that was due to arrive in two months which is a good timeline under the current global shortage. Last week they had a new XC90 arrive that meet my exact configuration except for the color which in the end I liked better than the original choice and drove the car home on the same date. I was not planning on buying a car yesterday when I went to check out a few of the electric and hybrid models. I hadn’t even cleaned my BMW out because I was so sure I wasn’t buying something that day... or so I thought. But next thing you know I’m driving home in my new fully electric XC40, and had said a final goodbye to my gas guzzling BMW. Just like that. It was the most seamless and easy process. I contacted Volvo of Charleston via the website and a salesman via email (a referral) on a Sunday afternoon even though I knew they were closed. Much to my surprise, I had a response from my website comment from Tim Freidag late Sunday, and a response from the sales consultant, Tervor Satterfield Monday morning. I greatly appreciated how quickly they got back to me. I was asking about the availability of a particular car and they said they would have it ready to test drive when I was able to get there. Their dealership is a two-hour drive for me and I did not want to waste my time. My husband and I drove up, the car was at the front door, I drove it and I bought it. My trade in was just a year old, so I had been through the sales experience rather recently. Dealing with Hendrick Volvo and the ability of Tim Freidag, Trevor Satterfield and Phillip McCabe getting me through the sales experience rather effortlessly made the trip worthwhile.

Customer service is not dead! Called on a Saturday on Labor Day weekend about a car. The car was actually there (this is a problem in the current low inventory market.) The people working there seemed to work as a team, and that’s how a success business works. I was FaceTimed by an employee with a detailed walk through of the car. The people I spoke with were extremely knowledgeable about Volvos- even excited to go go over the options the car had. Once I got with the sales team, we negotiated terms easily. I had set up an appointment at 1 pm, but due to scheduling problems I wasnt able to arrive until 2:30, yet they worked with me. Though this was my first time buying a car from a dealership, thanks to TJ the process was quick and easy! I was in a real time crunch to get to work, and I was happy to drive there in my new car!

I visited Hendrick Volvo cars because I had an issue with wetness under the drivers side carpet of my 2002 Volvo V70 station wagon. I assumed it was a wiper issue so I brought it in to get it checked up. Upon further inspection, my car was found to have major deteriorative damage to a few of its major components. After an honest conversation with the service advisor, he suggested that I have some of the most important parts fixed and to leave the car with them while I drove a loaner car home. Well that overnight stay ended up being a week. I was driving in the lap of luxury, and a brand new 2021 Volvo V60 T5 station wagon, with the volume up and the gas consumption down! You see I drive for a living being a Hewlett-Packard representative, everywhere from Myrtle Beach to Savannah, Columbia to Charleston, and my farthest route takes me to Statesboro Georgia. I got a good feel for the car that week, and very much enjoyed being able to use it for work. The staff at Hendrick Volvo car took care of me and my car, but unfortunately after getting the total of the repair cost for my old 2002 V70, we decided that the old girl needed to go to sleep for good. It was going to cost triple what the car was worth to fix it. I traded it in for a very generous amount provided by Hendrick Volvo, put a bunch down and drove out with a 2018 Volvo S60 T5 Inscription AWD. Boy was I surprised at the fuel efficiency! If youre careful and drive conservatively, you can save a whole lot of money!I want to personally thank Martin, my sales consultant, who tolerated the racket that was coming out of the Bluetooth equipped speakers so I could test their mettle during the test drive, Scott, who guided me in the right direction when it came to trading in instead of repairing, and Evan, a great service advisor, and a great conversationalist. I must also thank Corey, the gentleman in the back doing all the paperwork (he has so much fun) and to be honest, the easiest guy at the whole dealership to talk to. Hes got my MVP vote.My father, a 45-year master tech with BMW was giving me advice the whole time, making sure I was getting taken care of, and other than the service agreement, which I decided to go a little further then usual on, he said I got a great deal on everything. Its nice to know that there are still dealerships out there that genuinely care about their customers, and arent just looking for a buck.One thing I also love, I learned from an associate at the dealership that salesmen are paid based on the volume of cars they sell, not the value of those cars. Therefore, it is in the best interest of the salesman at that dealership to help you and take care of you regardless of your budget. I absolutely love my Volvo, and I plan on getting a vanity plate for it very soon! Thank you Rick Hendrick Volvo Cars!

Personal service. Damon was a very good and thorough salesperson. Knew his stuff about Volvos. Pricing is fair but not great; dont expect to haggle with them, not in todays market. Volvo product is top notch. This is our first a XC60. So far so go on the ride. Would certainly use this dealership again.update 9/22/21- went in for a TRIP INSPECTION at the service department. Bryce S. the service advisor took good care of me and inspected my new Volvo for a few long trips in the next 3 weeks. He also took the time to instruct me on how to check oil (electronic dip-stick) and tire pressures on the info-center.

I purchased a used vehicle from Hendricks Volvo about 2 weeks ago after losing my car in an accident back in April. I believe the gentlemen that helped me were Trevor and Tony. I was not expecting to get approved because the car dealerships where I live were giving me the run around telling me I wouldnt find what I was looking for and trying to get me to settle on something else. Anyways I reached out to Volvo and a few hours later got a text that I was approved. I was over excited. I lived 2 hours away and didnt have a way to get to the dealership...they bought the car to me! I was beyond grateful. You guys are amazing and I love my new car.
