This was the absolute worst car experience ever. Everything that could go wrong did.I was told 2 weeks for repair for my dream car, Porsche 911 4s cab… 3 months later it was ready …. But it wasn’t fixed. This wasn’t a covid delay, they ordered the wrong parts for the model car first, then when some of the parts came in they were damaged, (not their fault) but then… in the end, they didn’t order all the parts they should’ve, and waited 3 weeks for a tire sensor they forgot to order with new rim.When I went to pick it up, after 3Months of excuses, the car had new scratches and chips on it! ( I have beforeAnd after pics ). TheRear fender, that wasn’t hit, had to be taken off to fix the other parts and Now it has cracked fiberglass and paint because when they took it off to fix the other parts they messed it up. It looks horrible. The convertible top wasn’t realigned/fixed so now it closes unevenly and scratches the top when it closes. The car was absolutely filthy inside,dust/dirt everywhere, all the leatherwas filthy ( I have pics of all) it was shocking, they knew it was droppedoff mint and just detailed before it was hit in my parking lot and can’t understand how after 3Months they couldn’t do the bare minimum to clean it up to how it was. It was also on empty when I picked it up..I was Shocked and told Them About it, they said they’d reimburse me when I got gas… I don’t want your $20 gasReimbursement After $20,000 Repair I want the peace of mind of leaving the dealership and not trying to find the closest gasStation so I don’t get stranded. It was ridiculous.I have never left aNegative review before but what I’m writing doesn’t even justify what happened to my dreamCar. It’s worse now after their repairs and after I was told to take it home and make a punch list of the issues and let them knowWhat they have to remedy…. They still haven’t returned my calls or emails 4Weeks later ..:henceMy frustration in this post.
My vehicle is there now. They are backed up like every other body shop, but their customer service and communications skills are absolutely horrendous. They don’t seem to be able to manage their workflow and put the needed resources on their workflow. I expect more from a Mercedes dealership. It could all be mitigated by communication and maybe even a friendly smile from their front line employees. Their work is good, but will not use them again if I don’t have to.
This was the worst automotive experience of my life and this says a lot considering I buy a new car about every year and half. Baker had my 2020 Mercedes Benz for 2 weeks and I spent more than $10,000. After driving 5 hours in each direction to pick up my car, I noticed the repairs were not completed. I also picked up my car and it was on empty AND my key fob no longer worked. Post-repairs, every time I go over a speed hump, it sounds like the front end is falling off. This is what they supposedly repaired. I now have to take my car to another collision repair shop in another state and start all over again. I read great reviews of Baker and am so beyond disgusted at the experience I had with Rob (the repair rep) and David (the manager). My job is to spend $100k on a car. Their job is to repair it. They failed at their job to say the least. I will not be back and advise all to seek repairs and purchases elsewhere. Baker will never get my money or time again.
Baker Collision understands luxury cars. My Alfa Romeo needed a new bumper and underbody work. The end result was outstanding. The car looks and feels like brand new again. The Baker team worked closely with my insurance company and rental car company to obtain all the coverages and repairs needed. In addition, David Vowels was highly communicative and made me feel important and valued. Its nice to have a company on your side and one that cares.

There is definitely a reason why I recommend them to anyone I know that needs work done. I had work done on our Mazda this past month and Hal and the service manager really did a great job along with the all the guys who worked on our car (thank you). It came out spectacular as I expected. I specifically told them upfront that the panels and seams lining up well was very important to me. I picked the car up tonight and I immediately noticed how perfect and straight they were (I’m a carpenter so I’m crazy about these things constantly.) I mentioned it to them and they said they checked it again right before it left the shop (they remembered). The whole time I was kept up to date on the progress, and told me what to expect along the way.They have gone out of their way to show me nothing but kindness, understanding, and patience along the way. When I didn’t understand something they helped compare it to things outside of the car world so I would understand better.As long and tough the process was, I have to hand it off to the whole crew. The car came back looking better than it did before the accident and I could not be happier with their customer service, great communication, and dedication to doing the right thing when it comes to their clients.They truly made me a client for life.
Service advisor never contacted me twice
They did not do a wheel alignment on the tire that got hit in the rear corner on my car and therefore did not catch $1500 problem with the rear end causing my tire to blow out .at high speed. And now the insurance company or baker collision doesn’t want to pay.

I was greeted promptly and courteously by Kyle. I had just walked in without an appointment to get an estimate on body work resulting from an accident. He looked at my car carefully, answered all questions and concerns completely and, as a newcomer to a non no-fault state, even advised me regarding a few insurance questions I had. He explained the estimate to me, gave me a time frame in which to expect completion, coordinated the installation of a new windshield (a different claim alltogether) and battery. It was a thoroughly reassuring experience and guaranteed my return to Baker should the need arise.

Every time I go into this place I am amazed even more. My car was hit in a parking lot, which we all know is a pain dealing with insurance companies. After getting it adjusted by the other persons insurance I brought it over to the collision center (Buick GMC dealer) and I spoke to Kyle Watson. He explained that they would take care of all the phone calls and rental agreements needed in order for me to just focus on what I do for a living. Kyle asked me if I wanted to be updated on the process of how everything would go, or to just call me when it was all done. I chose call when its done. Without any issues I received a phone call when it was time to pick it up. It came out beautiful and all internal issues with car insurance was handled magnificently. It was like having an assistant help do a job I was not experienced in dealing with. If I could give more than 5 stars to Kyle and his team at Baker I would. Made an unfortunate event as easy and painless as possible.
Had a wonderful experience when my 2012 Range Rover was repaired for a busted bumper. We have purchased a 2015 Mercedes ML350 and wrecked it over Thanksgiving. The car has been at the shop for over 3 months with very little follow up.I should, have known when it took 3 1/2 months to get the car registration, we were in for trouble. Very disappointed in lack of communication and follow up.
I was at Fender Mender and I would highly recommend everybody to go there. They give excellent customer service.

The person I was dealing with (his name is Rob Poranski) is the worst person to deal with. Zero follow up and extremely rude. I am not sure if he is just this with me or he is like this with everyone. I will never recommend this shop.

Choose this body shop which was out of my insurance network to do hurricane damage repairs since they were affiliated with where we bought the car. They did not seal the car and it completely flooded within 2 days of receiving it back. They did take it back and remove the water as well as seal the sunroof again however; there were water stains that where obvious. When I contacted my insurance company to let them know they couldnt help since out of network. When I tried to sell the vehicle I couldnt because they were very noticible to buyers. Unfortunately, I had to pay for this poor repair and the loss of value on my car. Thanks for taking ownership of your poor work Baker! I did give them 2 stars since they were very nice through the process.
Had the roof repainted from sun damage. Couple years later, sap drops on the roof, bleaches the paint. Sap never bleached the factory paint. They said their life-time warranty didnt cover that. I didnt pay them to paint the inside of my home, I paid them to paint a car. Sap happens.

By far the worst experience Ive ever had! The initial estimated time of completion was more than doubled due to the ignorance of Ruben. He never once updated us on the status of our vehicle, and when we called for an update he said the parts were in but just laying around so it wouldnt be ready as promised. Save yourself... Please do NOT go to this place for ANYTHING.

I have had worst experience ever at Baker collision took them 3 months to repair my vehicle never once called to give me any updates I had to call for update statutes then on the day of pick up the truck was filthy with finger prints All over my headliner that they claim they didn’t do and to top that off on the same side it was repaired on had scuff marks on the bumper meaning someone swiped my bumper in that clustered parking lot thanks Baker for such disappointment
