Mr. Brooks tracked down some Dunlop K180s for my new TW and I couldnt be happier. I also got some new bars installed and picked up some other odds and ends from the shop. Each time the service has been great. One time there was some sort of ice cream truck outside and one of the employees offered to get me a scoop. What other shop is going to do that for you?
Waited a month for a rear brake/rear rotor change out. Picked up bike around 10 minutes before closing time, and when I rode my bike back I noticed the dash was not working due to the dash saying the speed sensor becoming faulty. I sent an email to Jason the next day, and no response. I left the bike with no issues, and got it back with that sensor issue and never got a response.
Very good first experience, Nelly mounted my tires in 10 minutes for a very reasonable price. Lots of cool bikes for sale too. Ill definitely be back!
Im an amateur rider and took my bike here for the first time for an oil change & tune-up. Couldnt be happier with the service. Bike and controls feel even better and made me want to ride even more!Jason is Super friendly and knowledgeable. Wont even bother looking for another shop in the future, and will be back for sure.
I love the service at this place. The owner is knowledgeable and does quality work for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend service and inspection shop for motorcycle owners!
Jason took months to write my husband a check following the successful consignment sale of his bike. Just found out the check didnt clear.
NOTE: Mr. Brooks has contacted me and offered to make this right but after thinking about the situation and needing to invest more time, I declined. His efforts are nonetheless appreciated.I made an appointment for 11 and arrived on time. About 2 hours later, Mr. Books asked me why I was there so early and, after we cleared up his mistake, he offered a discount. They also performed a gratis state inspection..After 2 hours and 45 minutes, I get my bike back from having tires mounted only to discover that the front wheel had paint damage. I showed this to Mr. Brooks and he admitted that the damage came from them, that he would make it right, and he would call me.I never got the call and I was never given the state inspection paperwork that is required to be with the bike.He was nice enough and did not deny his mistake or their damage so thats worth two/three stars. If they had told me that the wheel and paint was chipped and had he followed though on reaching out, then we would be at 4-5 stars.I wont go back since I no longer trust their work and follow through. I ordered the paint that afternoon since I figured there would be no phone call/follow up and unfortunately I was right.Again, he was polite and owned the mistakes and this is a plus and warranted the 3 stars.
Another great experience with Brooks. I left one of my bikes sitting outside for too long. To put it in perspective the brakes locked up and it took three people to get it onto a trailer. Water/rust in tank, gas cap frozen shut, just too many items to list. My bike was a mess.Jason and team took care of it, found solutions in a huge supply shortage (not just impacting motorcycles either) and my bike is back to running like a top at a great rate. 100% earned my future business.
Good people .Had a new tire and brakes in less then 2hrs. Will be back for all my Harley needs .Thanks
Hands down, the BEST motorcycle shop in the DMV. Have followed Jason (Brooks) since he first started his business out of his garage -- theres a reason why it has since exploded into one of the most reputable/well-known shops in the area. Jason will tell you how it is, and wont try to oversell you on unnecessary services -- as a result, this is the ONLY place my friends and I will take our bikes.
They are the best motorcycle service. Very helpful and supportive. If you need anything for your motorcycle you need to go to Brooks. Thank you All.
Purchased my own tires thinking I was game to install them. Change my mind. Jasons shop installed them at a reasonable price on the day they promised. The day before I dropped off the bike I stopped in and asked Jason if they had time to change the front and rear brakes and if they couldnt that was fine I would bring it back another day. Jasons shop did the brakes and the tires at the same time. I did not expect them to do it but they did. Defiantly five stars for service and five stars for price. The price was less than I expected. Keep up the good work and pricing. I will be a return customer for all my bikes.
Cant say enough good things about Brooks Cycles. Jason is a straight talking breath of fresh air unlike so many other jokers out there. Tells you how it is and what he can do, no BS. Id take any vehicle to him that hed work on.
Took my lowrider in for exhaust pipe change, was told they had to drill out and tap stud. Still have an exhaust leak and job was not corrected. 1,400 bucks later, need new jug and rings. Never recommend this place to anyine.
Terrible experience.Started off okay with a tentative cost/time frame quote on 8/11/20. Their price seemed reasonable, timeframe was great compared to other shops.I scheduled it and brought my bike in 8/18/20 they suggested I also do a Brooks Special, breaks and tires while it was in. Mentioned theyd give me a quote in one day.No quote. They didnt answer any call. Finally got a call through Wed Sept 2. They said they didnt have my bike, got them to double check and they said they must have overlooked it. They promised to get me an estimate and it would be worked on by the day after (Sept 3rd). End of the day after - nothing.Sept 5th I got an estimate. They forgot brakes, but the price was good so I went for it. Big mistake. They said they had the tires but did not. They were unable to order anything and eventually suggested a pair of D404. This tire explicitly states not to put on a Harley.Eventually I provided my own rear tire since they were incapable of buying it themselves.Bought/shipped it to them 10/27/20, it got there 10/30/20.They got the bike on the lift 11/3/20Inquired about free winter delivery since it is advertised all over their website. They stated it is only for new projects and they dont do this for bikes currently in the shop. Mentioned I dropped it off way before winter, if they did everything in the timeline they suggested it would have been picked up by winter, but now it is cold. Tom stated that they would, but Brooks had an injury and he is concerned about the owners ability to handle getting a motorcycle unloaded with any degree of confidence in not having something bad happen. I mentioned I would rather just pick up.THEN it gets worst. They had let the battery die and they state they have not had it running since drop off. They then change their story and say that the battery wasnt dead, but it was bad/rusted sparkplug and they would need to charge me for the battery tender and new plugs. They casually mention that they know it wasnt the battery because they had to turn it on/off each day to bring it in/out of the shop.At that point I just wanted my bike back so I drove down and picked it up 11/6/20...Was given the key and told it was out front ready to go - it wasnt. Had to go back in cause the bike was surrounded by other bikes. It was also covered in debris, had some small scratches, looks like they didnt clean oil off after doing some work, and weirdest of all was when I brought it in it had the stock plugs for the spot where a passenger seat and passenger pegs could go. Just black plugs with the HD Logo, nothing special. Not sure why but they decided to remove those as well... Honestly the communication was so terrible and the bike was so dirty I dropped the cash on bringing it to an HD shop for a check up.Not entirely sure they performed the Brooks Special, they did swap out tires, and they fixed the rocker leak, they definitely had the rocker taken apart since they left oil all over the bike from it and there were a lot of dirty hand prints on it so they did something.. I guess in a way I definitely got the Brooks Special.
Brooks is always welcoming and makes the transactions easy peasy. An asset to the NoVA/DC motorcycle community.
Brooks did the forks/head bearing on my FJR (16k service). One of the fork seals starting leaking within a week (part failure) and he immediately stood behind his work and fixed it. In my opinion, this is the sign of a respectable shop. Sold the bike four thousand miles later with everything tip-top. After that, Ive had a couple of tire changes and many of my friends have had their H-Ds serviced there. If you go to Bikes and Breakfast in Clifton, Jason Brooks sponsors giveaways on occasion and hes a fixture in the enthusiast community.
Brooks always gets the work done right the first time. Very knowledgeable staff willing to give the good, bad and ugly...very honest and upfront.
Very knowledgeable team. They got me in and out quick. Tom was super helpful. Happy with the work they did and the service I received.Five star for service and five star for price.
Scheduled an appointment for tire replacement and a basic service. I showed up on time and they took me to the front of the line. Work was completed much sooner than expected. All work was done professionally and neatly. Check out was efficient. Price was as quoted. No surprises. If you plan ahead and make an appointment, you will save yourself time and money.
Took my bike in for new tires (bought myself) and a slight wobble. Honestly, prices were great and service was on point. Jason was able to take care of everything in a good amount of time. I move a lot and finding a dependable shop that doesnt want to take every dime you have is difficult. Recommend for anyone who needs service on their scoot ✊
Needed a new clutch on my GSXR and these guys gave me a great quote. Ordered all the parts and set an appointment at a reasonable time. I was on time and they had my bike in and out in couple hours. Friendly, reliable and will be returning for all my future needs.
Picked up a nail in my rear tire one morning. Towed the bike to Brooks Cycles. Talked with Jason and his team and they had me squared away in a very timely manner. They couldnt have been more accommodating and sincere and had me on the road quickly.I think I found my new shop.
Called around looking for parts for my Gsxr and Jason professionally guided me in right way
I had a really pleasant experience here. Transaction went as smoothly as possible. The guy helping us, Jason I believe, was extremely helpful and professional. I will come back for sure. Great service.
Bad communication, and poor quality work. Bike was covered in dirt and grease upon pick up.
I have a 2007 HD Road King Classic, for the better part of 2 years, Ive considered getting new handlebars put on the bike and getting some other upgrades done. I just kept putting it off for no particular reason. It was very difficult to find a shop that I could trust to do what I asked. As a matter of principle, I refuse to take my bike to a Harley dealer, especially Bull Run (formerly Whitts) or Patriot in Fairfax, and even Stonewall (formerly Waugh). My experiences at the two Northern Virginia shops have been exercises in frustration.I happened to notice Jasons shop as I was driving by on a lunch break one day. Decided to reach out and see if he could do what I wanted done. Jason responded promptly and indicated that he could get everything I needed and installed in about a day once he had all the parts. So we scheduled the work to happen while I was out of town on business travel. He ultimately had the bike about two weeks, and that was only due to a shortage of the necessary parts from the vendors; like the chrome buttons/switches.Once his guys got that bike done though, I fell in love with my bike all over again. To that point, I hadnt been riding the bike anywhere near as much as I probably should have been. I hated the stock handlebars because it kept my hands just a few inches above the gas tank. I just didnt feel comfortable riding it, so I didnt.Jason kept me advised on every issue that popped up both by e-mail and phonecalls. Nelly was the magician that did much of the work and he went above and beyond at every turn for me. For example, I have a mirror-mounted cell phone case that was mounted above the handlebars. When the new bars got put on, the case suddenly was obstructing the left side mirror.Nelly had brought the bike bike outside to return it to me, but when I asked about flipping the thing down to hang under the mirror, he quickly took it back inside and did so without a second though, even though they were closing up the shop for the weekend.Jason has a veterans discount which was greatly appreciated, even though I felt like his prices were exceptionally reasonable without it.The bottom line is, from here on out, when I need anything done to my Road King; Brooks Cycles will be her home shop. Theres simply no reason to go anywhere else, he can do it all there, and I trust him and the guys with my ride. Thanks for getting my baby ready for Sturgis 19 Mr. Brooks!
Jason is the best guy in NOVA!
This place is fire! Fixed my dual sport motorcycle, owner and workers are great guys! Makes me want to buy another motorcycle.
Jason, Tom and the team are straight shooters. They treat the customers with respect and are honest in their services.Cant recommend them highly enough.
I first made contact with Jason, the owner over a year ago. I had been in the hospital for seven months and wanted to get my bike ready for the season. Jason was so nice and professional, he came and picked my bike up personally. I will never forget this white glove service. In addition I appreciate Jason’s service to our country as a Marine. Thank you Brooks cycles. You guys are great!
After having a terrible experience at urban east, the owner (jason I think) took good care of me and my motorcycle. Repair cost was less than expected and left a happy customer. If youre looking for a honest and reliable shop, this is your one stop shop 👍🏼
Best experience I have ever had. I had both my R6 and R3 serviced here and I am very pleased with their quality of service and prompt response. At times, I have even walked in during summer and they accommodated me despite their very busy schedule. Way to go Brooks! much appreciated !!!
Ive had my motorcycles worked on by Jason since he was working by himself out of his garage. He knows his stuff, and does his damndest to take care of his customers. Small shops like his dont last without satisfied customers, and hes been around long enough to prove that hes got a loyal customer base. Nobody is perfect, but Jason does his best to do right by all his customers. Hes got a customer for life.
Very knowledgeable bike mechanic. Reasonable prices. Got some bars and stem replace after dropping my bike. They have a very nice crash pad to wait in while they do there magic. I will be coming back for regular maintenances and to get new tires when im ready for them. Jason thank you for looking out.
Ive had two separate experiences with Brooks which were both great. He did a tire replacement on my 08 Yami R1 and gave me a competitive rate on the Q3+. I was unable to get the oil filter off from the oil change I had previously done myself and he assisted with that while the bike was at his shop for no charge. I also recently ran into another oil related issue and Brooks went above and behind to assist me yet again. Great customer service and support. He definitely makes it a point to know his customers and to help in any way he can which is rare IMO. Its definitely my go to for any bike work I need done!
Excellent service from Jason and his mechanics. My fuel pump died and Jason worked with me to rebuild the existing unit instead of having to buy everything brand new. Saved me at least $400. Jason also called to update me on the progress of the work. I felt like I was constantly in the loop on what was happening. Very satisfied with the service, price, and communication from Brooks Cycles.
Rarely I come here to write a good review, I mostly just write bad ones to so that business owners can see how incompetent they are but I have to say my experience with Brooks was an amazing one and the level of customer service that was provided to me was outstanding. He and his crew take care and work on the bike as if they were their own. I will NEVER take my bike anywhere else for anything. Thanks Jason and the crew!
I took my bike for tuneup! They have a good service and the guys whom been there were so friendly
I own a 2016 Africa Twin. Brooks Cycles has been my go to motorcycle mechanic from day one. They have always treated me like family. The service is top notch. I have had them install all my accessories and do all the recommended manufacturer maintenance. Jason and his team are very professional, and they know a lot about bikes and their recommendations are priceless. When they do work they do it right. Please give them a chance to get your parts for you before you get them yourself. They somehow always beat my prices and if they can’t do it, they will tell you upfront. Bottom line, this is a great shop, where you’ll be treated with respect and taken care of like family. You guys earned my 5 ⭐️ s.
Jason Brooks is very nice and accommodating when he wants your business, but once things dont go smoothly... good luck getting anything resolved. This shop does not answer phone calls/messages, good luck getting your bike/parts fixed or even back at all....I wonder how long before Brooks takes down this review too? Seems like bikers Ive spoken to have left 1-2 star reviews and for some reason they keep disappearing
Jason and his crew are fantastic. They provide great customer service, they worked on my bike right away and left it like new! They have earned my business.
Very personable, great customer service. Have had them service my Ducati multistrada a couple times. Largest service was for a fork seal replacement. They did a good job. Forks seem to compress a lot more that prior stock setup but I likely just need to readjust the front suspension after the work. Very fair and transparent prices for knowledgeable work.
Excellent workmanship! I took my bike here to do some custom work for the DGR 2019 and they did not disappoint. They worked fast and got me my ride back in no time. Im looking forward to bringing my bike back here in the future!
I am one of Jasons original customers from the days when he started from his garage. Since day one...I knew this guy was a straight shooter. NO BS...just give it to me. His team is great and I always tell my motorcycle buddies to dump those chop shops they have taking their bikes to and come and give Brooks Cycle a try! Trust me...you will not regret it! Fair in his pricing and awesome customer service! It works for me!!
Very professional and clean veteran owned business. Great work and knowledge of what theyre doing. Id recommend to anyone that has a bike to ride in and get your work done here!
These guys are legit with their customer service. I stopped by for a rear spool which seems simple enough. Pricing was less than online as well as other places I found. After I payed I turn around and find that Jason had taken it outside and already put in on my bike. It was obviously something he didnt have to do and something I was more than capable of doing but the fact that he took it upon himself to take care of is impressive!
Stop by this store couple times, everything WERE fine, and GREAT until I actually need them to helpwith my bike. Long story short, he said $50 for replacing the bearings and spacer for my rear Harley wheel, but when they finished the jobs he charged me $98.12 for it (pics below), which take them not much time to do it. (When I arrived on the next day to pick up, they did not even do anything with it yet). Finally, I showed him the picture saying $50 job, he refunds me and started to YELL at me to leave and some others disrespectful words (I believe i did not disrespect anyone during the conversation, I sincerely just talked to clarify why it’s $98.12).I don’t have as much money as he does, but when it’s said $50, it’s $50.Reply:I have wished the store would never play the victim role again in my case. Please also read any other one star review from this store, they always claim the customer faults no matter what. They always nice until something happens. This is not how you run the business, you would never know why customers stay away from you.About my case, yes, i did forget PART for the job, why didn’t you mention what it’s in the response? I did forgot 1 side of the bearings, which usually have 2, you could just take off everything on the wheel the day before and when I bring the bearing, you could just put it in (yeah, it takes 2 second to put in), but you don’t want to do it until I bring the missing part and wanted to claim on customer’s faults. How professional you are!!!Lastly, I wished you have said “I don’t want your money and goodbye” like you wrote in the response instead of unacceptable, and rudeness words. What’s a disrespectful store and also liar! And again, I never rude to anyone, even you, so please, don’t be liar. I believe you have cameras in the store to rewatch what have happened.
These guys are AMAZING! I had mounted a new tire in the wrong orientation like an idiot, after struggling with it for over an hour, and I didnt wanna go through it again. I took my wheel to Brooks Cycles, and without any hesitation, they took it in literally last minute before closing time. I strongly recommend this place, and these awesome friendly guys who work there make a huge difference. Your money isnt wasted for random up-charges or any BS like that, and youll walk out feeling awesome and VERY WELL taken care of. Easiest 5 STAR review Ive ever given, and Ill be sending my friends over and recommending this shop!
Flag on the play. Owner contacted my friend to review call on the field. Seems like a stand up guy. Update: the tech wrecked my friends bike on the test ride. Replaced with all new parts as far as we know. Bike has still been wrecked. I would avoid this place if you can
I have serviced several of my motorcycles here with 100% satisfaction & service! Jason & crew are friendly, knowledgeable, fair, and look out for whats best for the customer and their bike. Its customer service ALWAYS over making a dime. Jason always gives customers a fair estimate along with several options of service to fit the needs of budget and/or performance for the customer. Parts are always at a great price and are installed perfectly! This is how a local motorcycle shop should operate all of the time, every time! Thanks JASON & crew!
These folks were excellent. Very friendly team and their service was way faster than I expected. I could not have been more pleased. I highly recommend the folks at Brooks.
Cant speak highly enough of Brooks. As a street rider for over a decade, track rider, and racer. Through all Ive been through with maintenance, emergency flat tires, brake issues, wrecks, suspension rebuilds. My life is in Brooks hands when Im on the race track and on the street and I never have any doubts when hes doing work on my bikes. Hes stayed after hours for me and always returns the parts hes worked on cleaner than when I brought them in. That says something about his character and reliability. He also supports our community and military in a great way. A role model for business ownership everywhere!
Stopped by today to get my front tire changed. It is great to see this shop doing well: Jason has proven that choosing integrity and quality service over a quick buck pay off in the long run. Kudos to him and his team, great experience.
As another customer said, as long as its a service with a clear, purely mechanical, solution in mind, youll probably be just fine going here. This includes lengthy or complex repairs, so Ill give them that credit. However, Ive had something promised to me for a while, and Ive been as understanding as I should, probably too forgiving..I think I can deal with the fact that there are things that are unlikely to be resolved, but I cant deal with being strung along like theres some real effort going on, and my calls somehow havent been returned since last year. The people here are not bad people, but I just feel as if my situation was abandoned without them being truthful about it.
Brooks and his tech staff are quick to diagnose, and theyre efficient when it comes to getting any work done. Ive visited a few times after making a mistake, but one that stands out was when I was changing a sprocket and over torqued a bolt (like a dummy) to the point of snapping a stud. Walked in and they took care of my job on the spot -- at a very fair price -- and gave quality advice on next steps. Other shops Ive been to would try to gouge at that point. Just one of many quality interactions, but Ill say it can be tough to find honest shops, and youve got one here.
Brooks Cycles is second to none in customer service, quality workmanship, and fair and reasonable prices.I purchased a used motorcycle from a private party and did not know where to start or what needed to be done in order to have it ready for the riding season. Jason went above and beyond, he picked up the bike at my house, towed it to his shop, determined what was needed, and completed the maintenance on time. I was having a difficult time finding time to pick it up, so what does he do...offers to bring it back to my house for me. Incredible. Thank you Jason, you have successfully secured my future business.
As a Harley rider with bikes in FL and VA. Brook’s is my favorite shop and the best. Prices, service, quality can’t be beat. Their work beat the dealers and there isn’t anything they can’t heels you accomplish from repairs to customization. You’re crazy to go anywhere else.
Great shop, and the owner, Jason, is a great guy. He makes you feel like an old friend when you talk to him, and his prices and work are excellent as well. Ask if he has any events coming up; theyre always a blast!
I had a good time there great people and will visit more often.there used bikes were in very nice condition and detailed nicely and good prices.
Been there two times and both times me and my friends were well taken care of and made priority I felt. Very knowledgeable as well. Would recommend to anybody and will definitely go back for my motorcycle needs.
Awesome place. Great prices and work.
My bike broke down while riding near Aldi- googled nearest motorcycle repair shop and found couple of shops in the area. Took a chance with Brooks Cycles and am so glad i did. Spoke with Jason (owner) on tuesday and explained what was going on with the bike, he told me he would do the initial diagnosis and would let me know the cost before doing any work. Two days later i received a call, he had already fixed the bike (loose wire) and only charged me half the cost of initial diagnosis fee- though he couldve totally charged the whole fee. To me thats very admirable these days given Ive had exact opposite experiences at other shops. I would certainly be using his shop as my primary shop and hope others give his shop a shot and see for themselves the positive experience that i had.
I had these guys mount and balance tires for me. Jason scheduled me in quickly, and when I arrived, they set right to work. I liked that. However, all was not perfect. I wanted to be comfortable the job was done right, and that meant I wanted to see the work. That request was politely, though adamantly, refused; no watching; no exceptions. I can understand the businesss perspective; they dont need customers getting a free education or making the techs nervous. But hey, were mounting tires, not rebuilding an engine. And wouldnt you know it, the job was not done exactly right. They failed to line up the red dot on the tire with the valve stem; thats a small careless mistake. When pointed out, Jason explained it away as unimportant. Then he went on about the dot walking when the bead is pulled over the rim...of course it does, but you rotate it back in line before you set the bead; thats tire mounting 101. Its not a serious gaff, and it was not worth re-breaking the bead to correct, but it is not a correct installation either; just read the tire manufacturers installation instructions. I felt like the mistake and the push back hinted at a lack of attention to detail, thus minus one star for that and minus one for the inflexible no-watching policy. The charge for the work was fair, though slightly more than their advertised preferred installer Superstore price.
Just had tires installed here. Harley Sportster. Beat Harley by nearly $300 for exact Michelin Scorchers with Harley Davidson Branding. These guys are not getting rich. Its almost like your friend is taking care of your bike. A+ Will use again and Highly Recommend. Keep up the good work.
Best place to get any work you need done on any motorcycle. If you got a bike or anything with 2 wheels this is the place. Great work, reasonable prices, great guys.
My husband loves this place, they are friendly, reliable, professional and just great to work with. Always reasonably priced and always does a great job so def five stars plus😎👍🏻
I took my old BMW K100 up to Brooks for new tires. What can I say?Great guys, good prices, fast turn around. Its nice to find a trustworthy shop near home.
I live less than 5 minutes away from Colemans ps but the day I stumbled across Brooks Cycles, my 2 wheels would never roll into their service department again. Fair pricing for outstanding work and on top of that everyone Ive met there have been great guys. Jason was honest about the needs of my bike, and even when I requested additional work he advised that it wasnt necessary at the time. That meant a lot to me, showing that I wasnt just a dollar sign to him. If youre bike needs service, definitely give these guys a shot.
Great service, massive technical expertise and fair pricing! Theres not a whole lot more anyone can ask for. Jason goes out of his way to help you out and the business reflects that. My bike is better for have being in Brooks Cycles hands!!
Great customer service, great prices, great quality work and Jason is a very outstanding guy. I highly recommend this shop
What a great shop! My bike needed work and they were able to get me in immediately both times! Fast and friendly, I would recommend them to everybody!
Excellent service, I highly recommend this shop. The owner organizes charity events, friendly environment.
Thank you for taking great care of all of the RHOLC brother referrals Ive sent your way. You guys rock and very much appreciated! #AllTheWayUp #Unstoppable ✊🇺🇸🍻💪💥🙏
Always good advice, honest presentation, and excellent technical proficiency from Brooks Cycles. Jason is not afraid to tell you whats wrong with your bike, and the Brooks crew will find the most affordable path to a proper, long-lasting repair.
Jason Brooks and Co. will not only work hard at getting you back out on the road but are big supporters of the motorcycle community. The Brooks Cycles lounge is like hanging out in your living room as you wait for your repairs. Its one thing to do business with a honest trade but its next level where the shop stays connected to the motorcycle community and the ones they do business with. For a small business owner Jason Brooks treats you big. Get connected with them today. I highly recommend it.
Excellent customer service and reasonable prices . On our way to Myrtle Beach bike week out Harley back tire had a complete blow out ! After calling all Harley service centers nearby we found out none in North Carolina were open Monday ! And our geico insurance Could not find a tow that would take us far enoughWe were stranded !!When we found brooks cycles. As soon as brook answered I knew we would be ok, the obvious knowledge and experience of the whole crew was admirable .. these boys knew bikes !! The service center was clean very modern. Bring from north jersey I was blown away by the kindness and real “southern hospitality” at Brooks !!We were offered. Soda snacks tv/air conditioned waiting area ..and a place to charge my phone .,realSaviors !!!
Long and short, Jason is a family man and stand up guy that I trust to do the work on my bike that I cant. I pass at least 4 shops on the way to him from my house and it is worth the trip every time. Rode my bike in to get a tire replaced and I had the choice to either take a loaner bike out to get something to eat or watch Netflix that he provides in his comfortable waiting area. Ive taken my car in to the dealership and didnt get this level of customer service.Being a former Marine, Jason gets my business - no question.
Got to give a shout out to these guys. They came to my home, 45 minutes from them, picked up my bike, fixed it and will be bringing it back to me. And theyre charging me for the service only. Customer service is key and these guys will always have my business!
I called Colemans looking for a tire change and a basic tuneup. After being spoken to rather rudely, I decided to try somewhere else. I called Brooks Cycles and they were very nice and professional. The service writer went over a few options with me and I decided on some T30s. I made an appointment for Friday at noon. When I arrived, I was greeted by an employee who took my information and showed me to the customer lounge. Customer Lounge? I asked. This place was awesome! Theres a Library of motorcycle magazines and books and a lot of great motorcycle memorabilia on the walls along with Netflix and Nintendo. I played Excitebike the whole time I was there! They were done with my tire change and tuneup in about 2 hours. The price was right, and the service writer noticed my Fire Fighter license plate so he said Automatic 10% off for our boys in Red. I was absolutely floored! I didnt even ask for a discount, but they know how to treat people right.
Fantastic help !!!I rode from New Hampshire to the ADV Moto Rally. When I got to the rally I noticed a squeak coming from my front wheel. I was signed up for a course on Saturday morning and did not want to miss it however I knew I would need to address this issue soon. After the class I was talking with another rider about my issue. He said “sounds like you need a technician” and I said that would be great. He then said “I am the rally technician” and then called Romney Cycle to see if they had wheel bearings in stock. They did not however he told me to meet him back at the campground and he would help me out. When I got back I removed my front wheel and took it up to him. As it turns out is was not my wheel bearings it was my speedometer. He fixed it up for me and I was able to get home to New Hampshire. Big Thanks to Brooks Cycles from Chantilly, Virginia
I was referred to this shop by another motorcycle shop. They got us in quickly and took care of my sons mini-bike in less than an hour. Jason provided us with excellent customer service! They will be our go-to shop from now on. I cant say enough good things about this place. A++++ service!
Im a big fan of Brooks Cycles. Jason and his team have always been up front and honest with me and for that I trust them with my motorcycles. Not to mention its nice to be able to support a veteran owned business.
I met these guys back in April and then attended a rally they were supporting. GREAT guys and just plain good folk! By the way won a set of promotional tires at the rally and got them put on today. Could not be happier with the product or service. Price was also AMAZING!!! lol Jason ... you Nelly and Frank ROCK! Appreciate everything and looking forward to the next time we get to hang out.
This place is great!Needed a quick float adjustment on my carb before I take my bike on a trip tomorrow and had no time to work on it. Jason knocked it out within 10. No charge.Great customer serviceThanks!!!!
Brooks Cycles is the best shop Ive found in the area. The work is great, the prices are fair, and the people are helpful. I would not hesitate to bring my bike there for service again.
Excellent service, friendly staff, very reasonable price. The rear tire blew up on my Ducati. I removed the rear wheel and took it there with the tire, they put it on in no time! I called another place and they didnt have appointment till next week! Then I took the bike there to replace the front tire. Great service! Thank you guys!
Great place that does great work at a good price. I have had them work on all of my bikes and atvs. They are honest and upfront.
Brooks Cycles does not have experience or CERTIFIED TECHNICIANS to do any work on a Harley’s American Iron Horse or any choppers took my American Iron Horse there to repair the carburetor rebuild, they said they fixed it, paid $500 for the service, brought the bike back home and bike still does doesn’t work it’s the same as before I took it there....I wish I could put No Stars at all their service does not worth any stars ... Do yourself a favor and do not waste your time and money do not use this company.
Mr Jason Brooks fixed my Bike when no one else could!!! Thank you Brother!!! Anyone out there, You will not be disappointed!!! Fantastic team of Motorcycle mechanics!!! I will be going back for new handlebars, real soon!!! :D
A brother and a friend for life.. Extremely loyal and knowledgeable and always willing to help anyone out..
Brooks Cycles is a great place to bring your ride. Never had any issues ever since the first visit. Jason, the owner, is a great guy, and your bike will be in good hands. I never bring my bike anywhere else!!
Just a tremendous place for motorcycle care... from simple maintenance to complicated repairs. The service is wonderful and the prices make you wonder why you ever went to a dealer.
Where to begin? I brought my 1983 Suzuki GS750T to Jason for a full restoration. Brooks went through the entire bike. From the headlight to the muffler, he replaced it all. Friendly service and very reasonably priced. List of work follows below. What did Brooks repair? Replaced headlight and bucket, installed new old stock (NOS) gas tank, NOS seat, new petcock, NOS side covers, added Dyna coils, a full Vance and Hines exhaust system, new bars, new grips/levers, rear progressive springs/shocks, tachometer, mirrors and replaced a lot of other little parts. He also rebuilt and jetted my carburetors and had the bike running smoothly after it had been sitting for years in storage. The best part? He was able to do everything in a reasonable amount of time (given the parts I needed as well as the labor in addition to the number of other customer bikes that were already there). Most motorcycle shops I ride to in the area (when I am window shopping) cant believe how well my bike runs and looks. I owe this solely to Jason. I would not hesitate to spend the same amount of money with him again. He is the only shop I recommend to my friends. He is the only shop I have ever been to where I havent wondered if the needed repairs were questionable. I know bikes pretty well and was listening to him talk to another customer and explain what was wrong with their bike and it was refreshing. Most shops simply grunt out what the bike needs and give you an estimate. The next thing I plan to have him install are new progressive springs and seals on my vintage ride.He really knows 70s, 80s and 90s bikes (as well as newer models judging by the customer bikes I saw at the shop). The shop is clean and has a lounge area for customers. And there is a huge wall of Bikemaster parts you can buy off the shelf.
Absolutely incredible! Great service and incredible prices. I’d recommend this shop to anybody...Kevin and Nelly took care of my buddy (red ninja ZX6R) and myself (red CBR600RR), I’ll definitelt be back.
Jason was very friendly and helpful making sure the bike I bought from him was in ship shape. Definitely recommend.
Very good job working on my bike. I feel safe and the quality of the work reflects as i rode .
