G&S Garage Doors recently replaced our old garage door openers after one of the garage doors would not close. Snow was in the forecast, and Steve, the owner, who answered my call, sensed my urgency and sent a technician before the snow storm, which was predicted for the following week-end. Sure enough, G&S arrived on the appointed day and a few minutes early. They explained the installation process to make certain that we were on the same page. Within 2 hours after the technicians arrival we had brand new door openers operating efficiently and quietly. (Quiet was something we had not heard for over 20 years.) Joel, the technician, and Carlos, his assistant, were polite, respectful of our property, and experienced and exacting during the installation. The price was very reasonable, exactly as quoted, and less than the other estimates. G&S are complete professionals and such nice people. We couldnt be more pleased!

When a torsion spring broke, G&S fit me into the scheddule immediately, and made all repairs within 45 minutes of arrival. They also did a general inspection and pointed out a few DIY maintenance issues I could address on my own. The price was more than fair for the quick response and excellent work.

We had a broken spring on our heavy 2-car garage door. The door would not open at all. I phone G&S late on a Monday afternoon. The lady taking calls and doing the dispatching was very nice. Within 60 to 90 minutes Nestor was at my house estimating the repair job. The following afternoon Nestor came with the correct springs and notified me that the old springs he removed were the wrong size for this garage door. These springs have very high tension and the door is extremely heavy, which makes the situation very dangerous. Nestor completed the work in a timely manner and did a great job. G&S garage doors is so responsive and professional. Last week I contacted Steve about a new garage door opener and Nestor was at the house the next day. He explained my options, we agreed upon a course of action, and was back the next morning to install the new opener. While installing, he noted something very minor that needed to be done on the garage door he installed for me three years ago. He fixed that promptly and oiled the rollers and spring. I am so impressed by this company!They know their trade and are very personable and get the job done right! Customer oriented and I appreciate that.

Used their service earlier this week in May 2021, they fixed 3 of my garage doors, replaced sensors, tuned, fixed keypad, and adjusted springs. Previously none of the doors would close unless you held the buttons down... another vendor 24 hour service stopped by the day before and told us we needed to replace all 3 systems with Liftmaster. G&S took care of all problems without replacing any motors or openers. All doors now work.

Great experience! After falling through the email system and following up (which happens due to my email way), Steve the owners, response was very prompt. I think we spoke Friday afternoon when I was at work and the next day the tech, Nestor was there. Both the tech and the owner didnt try to over sell us like the previous guy I contacted. They simply acknowledged they might be able to fix the current problem or replace the opener, which was a reasonable quote and significantly less than the previous guy. In addition they did some small maintenance to ensure all was great moving forward. Give this local business a try, truly a great experience and very happy with our very modern and updated opener.

G&S Garage Doors came to our house to repair a spring on one of our 30-year old garage doors 5 years ago. We were satisfied with the service provided. When we called G&S Garage Doors six months after to ask the company to send someone to check the noise that the door was making, one crew member came within two days and fixed the noise at no charge. This year 2020, we decided to replace our two garages doors, motors, and railing, and we were again extremely satisfied with the service provided. I called G&S after noticing the pulley system on my garage had some frayed wires and was making awful grinding noises. They came out next day. Their technician quoted and repaired the door that same day. Very friendly and the customer service was excellent. He fixed the pulley system and lubricated the rails and motor rail on the one garage door - but went the extra mile and did the same on the second door - even though that wasnt part of the repair. Just really great service all around - from the office to the repair technician. Very pleased with the job they did. Would recommend to anyone!

I had great service from G&S. My garage door and opener are about 3 years old, and due for a normal tune up and inspection. Since the company that installed it was out of business, I called G&S. They were able to do the tune up with less than a days notice, which was nice. Their pricing on the tune up was very reasonable, and the technician, Nester, was very professional. Nester noted that the torsion spring wasnt properly adjusted by the original company, and explained that the motor would fail early if that wasnt corrected. So, he corrected it while he was here for a reasonable price (thats not normally included in the tune up). I would definitely recommend them based on that experience.

We had awesome service from g&s! I found them through home advisor while doing research to replace our original garage doors (from 1984). They came out the same day to provide and estimate and we hired them on the spot. A few days later, the door wont stay closed. We had to sleep with our garage door slightly opened last night! We contacted G&S to express our concerns and they are trying to claim that there is something wrong with our garafe door motor. Now mind you, we had Company A come out to our house to provide us with an estimate for a new garage door replacement prior to hiring G&S. Company A confirmed that there is nothing wrong with our motor. We know for a fact that there is absolutely nothing wrong with our garage door motor by word of mouth from Company A. We decided to provide G&S an opportunity to earn our business since they offered us a slightly lower price than Company A. It appears that the limit settings are off and simply needs an adjustment. Hopefully, G&S will resolve this issue immediately at no additional costs to us.

Called Steve (Co-Owner) and within 30 minutes he was at my door ready to give a quick estimate (730pm). He came by the next day and repaired both garage doors, one of them wouldnt open and another was creaking and moving around way too much, for a reasonable price. Within 2 hours the garage doors were in perfect working order and I was more than happy with the service. Went above and beyond what I asked for. Will be doing business again when it comes time for complete replacement of both doors.

We are currently posted in Jakarta Indonesia, and are renting out our home. We learned that our garage door opener was not working two weeks ago. Our property management company had been going back and forth with the company that initially installed our Liftmaster 3585 unit years ago. The company wanted to put in a unit that had a back up battery, despite the fact that we had a whole house generator, didnt want to honor the warranty on the motor, and never gave us an option for a chain driven unit which is what we wanted, because we believe they are more reliable with heavier garage doors.Fed up my wife, filled out the G&S online form, and followed up with a Skype phone call, (there is a 12 hour time difference). Steven Gauthier really came through for us and was able to schedule a replacement unit the next day! We ended up with a newer improved model of the unit we had, a Liftmaster 8587, which is chain driven and doesnt have a battery back up.Our tenants are very happy that the garage doors finally work again and we are relieved.We highly recommend this company for professionalism and service!
