Ive done many kitchen remodels for other people but when its your project it can be overwhelming.Ramsey never made me feel rushed. I couldnt be happier with my kitchen. It is BEAUTIFUL. I shopped around at 2 other high end cabinet places and found that these cabinets were just as nice or nicer, and less expensive. It has been an absolute pleasure working with SueAnn Dressler at Cabinet Discounters in Chantilly. Early in the COVID-19 pandemic, we began our project, fully aware that supply chains may be interrupted and there might be building material shortages causing delays. With SueAnns experience, expertise and excellent design skills we designed a kitchen and two bathrooms with updated functional cabinetry and counters to beautify and make efficient use of space. SueAnn went over and above by researching the cabinets and countertops that would best fit our needs, identified products that would be delivered to meet our timeline, and kept us updated on the status of our order — I simply cannot be happier. Cabinet Discounters was recommended by a close friend. We contacted and worked with Mary Banas at the Chantilly CD office. She was highly professional and creative in addressing and supporting our kitchen renovation. Our primary focus was increasing the functionality of our kitchen. Mary provided several ideas that we incorporated into the redesign that not only increased the functionality for a 2-cook/1-baker kitchen, but also expanded the accessibility and flow of dinner/party guests during social functions. The chefs and baker can now easily go about their business while still easily entertaining their guests simultaneously, because of Marys redesign ideas.My wife and I can be very demanding in the kitchen. Mary gave us the improved functionality and also new enjoyment with our kitchen.

After talking with a few big box stores we called Cabinet Discounters. Mary answered my phone call, and I made an appointment with her. Mary was very helpful, thorough, and worked with us as we tried different design ideas. Even though our project was modest (a small dry bar/extra storage space in the basement), Mary never came across stuffy or as though our business wasnt important to her. She is careful not to inject her style, but to ask questions about Our style and likes and direct us to the right products to meet our needs. If youre interested in remodeling or upgrading your kitchen you better talk to Tammy first. You wont regret it, trust me.

The radio ads drew me to this store. I was very interested in learning more about their prices/design/service. I am in the market to redo my entire kitchen.So maybe if someone actually acknowledged our presence when we walked into the Chantilly store today, a Monday, (run by older people who looked generally irritated) instead of getting ignored by every single sales person they would be getting a better review from me.Good for the people giving 5 stars that actually got one of the superannuated to service them. But a company that thinks they are above giving even the slightest bit of customer service is not for me. A suggestion, if walk-ins irritate you all, maybe someone should take less than a minute of their precious time to stop and tell those walk-ins to make an appointment? Pass!

Our master bathroom turned out great. Mary Banas is a wonderful designer and was a pleasure to work with. The construction team was first rate. The project had a few glitches along the way, but Mary and construction team met each challenge with a can do attitude and finished the project on time and on budget.

I needed to replace kitchen cabinets quickly in a house I was getting ready for market. Cabinet Discounters in Chantilly came through for me with affordable, quality cabinets that could be made to order in the custom dimensions to fit the existing space and shipped in only a few weeks. Tammy was very professional, made helpful space planning advise, and got the delivery to me on time and with no damages. So much better than HD or Lowes!

Turned what could have been a successful design experience into an annoyance. Our original designer left the company and we were not notified. If we did not do a follow-up before the work was to begin it probably would not had started on time. We also needed to call to check to see that we would be installed on schedule, since we were not hearing from them. They did complete the project and fixed the issues that surfaced during installation. When the installers left that was it. We had to call them back to reinstall our appliances after the counter tops we in place. No calls to see if the work was satisfactory no final walk through or Thank you for your thousands of dollars spent. The lockbox is still on our front door after a month. We have placed numerous calls, more then we should ever have to, to get it removed. NO ONE CALLS BACK.

We chose Cabinet Discounters on the recommendation of a personal friend who had worked with them on a renovation similar to ours and our long time Plumber who had worked with them on many projects. Our project involved enclosing a screened porch, knocking down a wall and extending our current kitchen space into the newly enclosed room. We made an appointment with Ramsey Haddad to work on the design of the kitchen. Ramsey has a great eye for design. He is very patient and a good listener. He doesnt push you into things you dont want or need but at the same time, he makes excellent recommendations on design and utilitarian features based on his extensive experience. After comparing options, features and the prices for several lines of cabinets, we chose Brighton Cabinets. These cabinets offered many custom type features without an up-charge. They arrived within one week of the expected date, in great condition and with all the pieces for immediate installation. The quality of these cabinets was excellent. And Ramsey helped us make some beautiful choices in the color of the cabinets and in the Quartz Counter top. I am really happy we went with Quartz based on Ramseys recommendation. There is absolutely no maintenance with them and the color and design is beautiful. No one knows they are not natural stone like Granite. We were especially grateful for his design help. There are so many choices to make when completely redoing a kitchen and his experience and expertise made it a lot easier. He is a true professional, wants everything to be just right and Cabinet Discounters is a great company with great products and excellent value. We will be using them again in renovating our bathrooms. Thank you Ramsey and Cabinet Discounters for making our kitchen renovation a good experience.

My wife and I worked with Tammy on a complete kitchen remodel. Tammy not only (patiently) walked us through the cabinet design and installation process, she also helped us make wall-color, lighting, and appliance choices that ensured the kitchen design was efficient and contemporary.

We finally had gotten to the point of “Let’s do it” and to start on remodeling our old 70’s kitchen. We had heard about Cabinet Discounters both from TV and Radio Ads and just checking out the internet. We had contacted a few other kitchen places but we finally said, “They’re close by in Chantilly, let’s take a look.” We walked into a nice showroom without an appointment. I guess we should have done that, but we were greeted warmly and one of the designers was able to help us within 10 minutes, and that gave us time to look around the showroom. We were somewhat intimidated by the entire project, but our designer, Ramsey quickly eased our fears and we were “off and running” to our new beautiful kitchen. The process was easy and the flow of communication was great. We had about a million questions and Ramsey guided us through the entire design process like a pro. Ramsey put us at ease and with so many choices on the market today it could have been easily a major headache. We have enjoyed working with the professionalism of the Cabinet Discounters and especially with our designer, Ramsey. From giving him our ideas/dreams to his designs on the computer, and before our eyes, my husband and I both said, Wow! That’s it exactly!! Their showroom had great sample cabinets, floors, cabinet hardware, lighting and making those hard decisions was now really easy. We had heard of so many stories of kitchen remodels and how much time it could take. We were very concerned about the prospect that it might take months, but to our wonderful surprise, the timetable from start to end was perfect. This was all made possible by the great team of Cabinet Discounters and having such great communications from us to Ramsey to the craftsmen completing our kitchen. We not only remodeled our kitchen, but Cabinet Discounter also installed all new hardwood flooring, and they contacted great contractors for the painting of our entire first floor and kitchen backsplash tile work. Working with Cabinet Discounters was the best decision for us. The prices were right on target with our budget and best of all when they said our kitchen would be completed on such date, again they were on target! You can’t get any better than that. We consulted Ergon Construction for our kitchen and master bathroom remodel and Michael Janowski referred us to Ramzi Haddad. Ramzi helped us redesign our kitchen and suggested taking down a wall and moving our laundry room. The new floor plan is amazing, much more functional than the old plan and it looks amazing. The cabinets are excellent quality and work well. He recommended a counter, set up the installation for that and recommended an excellent appliance company. The entire remodel was as pain free and expeditious as a kitchen/ master bath remodel can be. I would never use any other company for cabinets or design.

Our kitchen and master bathroom were beyond outdated so we decided it was time to remodel. Before selecting Cabinet Discounters we went to all the big box stores and smaller boutique remodeling shops, but we always left confused about which brand and construction of cabinetry was the best and why there were such wild differences in prices. We actually avoided Cabinet Discounters at first because the “Discounters” in the name made us assume the cabinets were of lesser quality. We couldn’t have been more mistaken!We happened to be driving past the Cabinet Discounters store in Chantilly, VA (at Route 50 and 28) and decided to go in. We were greeted by Mary Banas, who asked about our kitchen project and what our goals were and then she proceeded to show us the differences in cabinetry, why one brand might be a better choice than another depending on whether we needed custom sizes, certain features, etc., etc. In fact she then suggested we look at Consumer Reports and some other sources on the internet to help understand cabinetry better. We left the store very impressed with Mary’s knowledge and the consultative way in which she engaged us, never pushing for an immediate sale like the other stores did.A few days later we asked Mary to come out to our house, measure the kitchen and put together a design recommendation along with pricing. We were amazed at the novel design she presented, suggesting things we never considered, including where all the cookware should be stored and the appropriate type of cabinet or drawer to help make the whole cooking process most efficient and improve the ambiance for entertaining. Mary very patiently made numerous changes to the design over the next few weeks to accommodate our very picky desires. She made us feel like we were her only customers even though we knew better. Best of all, the price was less than we expected for good quality cabinets. You don’t have to use their installers but we did – Wayne Pangle was the carpenter – and he did a great job on the installation. The end result was fantastic!After the success with the kitchen we proceeded to remodel the living room wet bar and master bathroom with Mary and Cabinet Discounters, again with phenomenal results. We recently sold that house in Great Falls and it was only on the market for four days. Our agent said it was the kitchen and master bathroom that made the sale, which was all due to Mary Banas’ incredible design abilities!After we moved we immediately got Mary to out to redesign the kitchen and master bathroom in our new house. The results were even better because the design challenges were much more complicated due to the unusual floor plan of our new home. Mary provided many different design options and the final design dramatically improved the space and usability of our kitchen. The before and after pictures of both the kitchen and master bath would make you think they can’t possibly be the same house. We used Cabinet Discounters recommended installers and they did a great job, but again, you can use your own if you prefer. We always receive very flattering compliments from friends and family. Mary is gifted in her ability to look at room, see it for its potential and then come up with a design that you would never think of on your own. Mary is a true professional, and is a certified designer, but beyond that she is a very wonderful easy-going person. Mary would be the first person to tell you that we are not easy to please, but after 5 challenging projects we still look forward to using Mary Banas and Cabinet Discounters on our next two projects.You’re in great hands with this team!

We are writing this today to let you know how thrilled we are with our remodeled kitchen by Cabinet Discounters! The cabinets are beautiful and plentiful, the granite counter top is gorgeous, and the general layout and placement of appliances and rearranged space is just wonderful. All of our neighbors are impressed!We walked into theChantilly office and were impressed by the kitchen displays. Then we met Mary Banas. From the very beginning we were impressed with Mary’s knowledge and experience, and her great ideas. We discussed a budget and Mary began her magic. She came to our house and looked over the flow. Our kitchen is typical of our neighborhood … not very open. She suggested a small wall bump-out for the refrigerator, and also removing the ceiling cabinets above our peninsula. Some additional cabinets with the bump-out more than made up for the lost cabinet space. Now working in the kitchen is a joy, with an open feeling of lots of space.As with any remodeling, we had teardown and construction. This was performed by Loren and Keith Nystrom. Wow, what knowledgeable and capable men! They were polite and very neat (always cleaning at the end of the day). They resolved installation issues, always keeping us informed and offering options. Very clever engineers!The electrical work was performed by Dave Hensel. These guys are good. They were fast and efficient. We love our new LED pot lights! Lots of light but no heat.The plumbing work was done by Donnie Newton. He was a very funny guy and fun to watch work. We had our dishwasher moved to the peninsula and to our surprise, the dishwasher now cleans our dishes much better! Apparently because it was now installed correctly, we don’t get “back wash” from the drain.When a cabinet turned out to be too tall (the microwave ended up too close to the stove), Mary took care of it with a new shorter cabinet and at no additional charge!Another issue came up with the backsplash tile. Benito laid out the tile prior to installation and showed us a problem with the accent tile. It was refreshing to have someone NOT TRY TO FORCE a solution! Once again Mary came to bat, along with your troubleshooting engineer Ward Street. After several attempted solutions with the accent tile we decided to go forego the accent tile and put the regular tile on the diagonal. It looks beautiful!Now our kitchen is finished and we couldn’t be happier. Each day as we use the kitchen we smile at all the beauty, openness and functional flow. It is still a trick to remember which cabinet has what, but that’s just a matter of time.We can’t thank Cabinet Discounters enough for their competent, attentive, creative, and just all around great staff and products. We recommend you to all of our friends.
